Pro Metronome - Tempo,Beat,Subdivision,Polyrhythm App

Pro Metronome - The best metronome app. Period. Featured in Apple's WWDC 2014 showcase "Apps We Can't Live Without." ------------ Pro Metronome is a powerful tool that helps you master both daily practice and stage performance. It has redefined how more than 4 million people sync to a beat. At the heart of the app lies our extremely precise, studio-quality metronome which we've refined even further with 3.13. The free version is packed with features. We feature 13 different metronome tones including even a voice option. Running our newest RTP (Real-Time Playback) technology, our metronome clocks an accuracy of ±20μs. Pro Metronome is all about customization. Change beat tones, accents, and even the dynamics of your rhythm ("f", "mf", "p" and "mute"). The Pro Version unlocks even more features including subdivisions and polyrhythm settings. Create complex patterns with triplets, dotted notes and non-standard time signatures. The app supports several ways to experience beats. The free version of the app includes sound, but upgrading to Pro enables Visual, Flash, Vibrate and Airplay Modes. Visual and Vibrate Modes are great when you're playing loud instruments or when you need to FEEL the beat. Flash Mode uses the device's camera flash to sync up the entire band easily. You can even use Airplay Mode to beam the metronome to a projector or Apple TV! Pro Metronome doesn't just help you keep time, it also helps you train. Pro Metronome built the Rhythm Trainer which mutes a selected bar in the beat, allowing your brain to fill in the gap and thus train your innate sense of timing. It's a simple, heavily requested idea not found in any other app to date. Pro Metronome also supports a host of secondary features: background play mode, in-app volume adjust and even the ability to save song/tempo playlists to share with friends. It's a powerful, elegant and intuitive app - a must for the modern musician. ---------------------- Pro Metronome Basic Features: * Intuitive, ad-free interface even in the free version * Dynamic time signature settings * 13 different time-keeping styles, including a counting voice * Dynamic accent settings, including f, mf, p, and mute indicators * Tap in your own BPM * Color Mode – see the beats graphically displayed on screen * Pendulum Mode, for visual feedback * Power-Saving/Background Modes – works in lock screen, home, or in another app * In-app volume adjustment * Extreme precision (±20μs) using RTP (Real Time Playback) technology * Timer to help you keep track of your session * Tone generators * Landscape Mode for increased resolution * Universal app – supported on iPhone, iPod and iPad * Audiobus support * Apple Watch support Pro Features include: * Sensory aids: LED/Screen Flash Mode (iPhone 4 and above) and vibration (only available for iPhones) * Subdivisions including triplets, dotted notes, and many more * Polyrhythms – stack two rhythm tracks on top of each other * Programmable playlists – save and load your favorite settings * Dual Screen Mode using AirPlay (requires iPhone 4s/iPad2 and above) * Wirelessly playlists sharing * Rhythm Trainer – helps to develop your steady beats * Stage Mode – the indispensable companion for performing musicians. * Practice Mode – allows you to programme automatic tempo change to suit your practice regime. ===About EUMLab=== EUMLab helps unleash your musical talent! I enjoyed using this app, but I recently reinstalled the os on my phone and now I cannot reauthorize the in app purchase to regain the pro version. I used the eumlab website contact system over a week ago and have not received a response.
  • Works great for me and for my entire school at Alexandrova School of Music! 5/5

    By MsRositsa
I highly recommend this app! Free, reliable, attractive, very accessible and always there for me :) sometimes kids just dislike using metronomes and make them disappear- not with this one! Everyone has a phone or iPad and that makes it always handy. I use it for my own personal practice and also for my teachings. I recommend it to all my clients. Love it! I readily wrote a review but this app is just amazing and had to be done! Thank you to the developers <3
  • Don’t ask for a review 1/5

    By jemmyjoe
When apps ask if I like it while I’m using it and prompt me to give it a review, I ALWAYS do and give it one star.
  • Love It! 5/5

    By Jayababa
Works for me as a Music Teacher. Thanks
  • Best metronome ever 5/5

Navigation on this app is impossible. sounds disappear and there is no clear way to get them back
  • Metronome 5/5

    By #flute/catsrule!!😸
I’m in Band at school, and sometimes my band director will turn on the Metronome in class and that one is horrible. Everybody hates it cause it’s so annoying. But this one has a way to adjust it, and it never gets annoying. It’s really great and helps me when I need the beat! Great app!
  • Versatile, functional UI 5/5

    By Slang4Art
Great metronome app, with lots of features and an easy to understand design!
  • Wow! 1/5

    By banaawi
Easy to use, nice design, pretty good sound, only... IT DOESN'T KEEP TIME! The one thing you kinda need the most from a machine that KEEPS TIME
  • Beats Dr Beat 5/5

    By dustindorroh
I bought a Korg Dr Beat about 15 years ago for about 150 bucks. This app has everything I want back then!!!
  • Awesome 4/5

    By CELLOLUNA
Really useful.. I Love It!However, the app is constantly bugging me about updating it to Pro.. sorta pesky.
  • Love it!... but 5/5

    By Tim G 75
Love the app I’ve been using it for a few years. The only issue I have is, sometimes I have my iPad live and sometimes my phone. Depending on stage space, etc.. is there any way to sync between phone and tablet.. with 3 bands and fill in work, having to re enter set lists on multiple devices is time consuming.
  • Great app 5/5

    By Celia-1
I really like this app. So far I haven’t found anything in it that I don’t like so I’m giving it five stars.
  • Practice Mode needs Improvement, Tempo needs Voice Control 3/5

    By grahama_is
Practice mode is great. I need these two improvements below. 1) Multiple Presets I need multiple user-created presets as different techniques require different bpm ranges. Finger-style:140-200bpm (8 minutes) Pinch-Harmonics: 120-155 (5 minutes) 2) Practice mode button not available in iPad landscape mode. Voice Control of BPM If it’s easy, accurate, and intuitive. Would be light ahead of tempo tap or rotating the the tempo wheel. To the developer: Include the above as a paid add-on? I’d be happy to pay for these as additional pro features. Thanks for this app!
  • Nice 5/5

    By parrythe plasum
It’s really helping me with my drum skills
  • Good 5/5

    By DawsonSTRIDER
    Worth the upgrade
  • No subdividing 4/5

    By AÏDKA
I tried to change the subdividing to 8th notes but you can’t do it unless you have the pro version. That’s just cheap please have at least 8 notes otherwise really nice metronome
  • Best metronome ever 5/5

    By Paraski
This is so user friendly. The warm up mode has helped me speed up my arpeggios. The ability to emphasize different beats helps me hit notes at the proper time in difficult pieces.
  • Great App! Sorta... 3/5

    By Zakroks
Everything about this app is great! Until you try to switch to an odd time signature or pretty much anything thats not 4/4, I play alot in 12/8 and it will act like the 8th notes are the same length as Quarter notes. Its mildly infuriating... Ive dealt with it but it'd be nice if the developers would fix the issue.
  • Great Metronome! 5/5

  • I don’t 5 Star often. 5/5

    By JenNjuice
This app deserves it because it’s everything a metronome should be! And then some. I love how easy it is to pick your tempo and go. Getting used to the settings is the only thing I found a little confusing, but I persisted and think I got it. I love that it has an Automator practice mode where you can set in a starting tempo and an ending tempo and set a count of bars to repeat and speed up each go around; this makes memorizing music fun for me and being able to get the hard parts of black pages to effortlessly flow from my fingers without having to stop to reset the metronome is wonderful, I can keep up my momentum. Absolutely worth the working price!
  • Easy 5/5

    By nerickson80
I love how simple the app is to use. My son is 8 and taking drum lessons. He uses my app easily.
  • Very Good 4/5

    By Soccer medal awesomeness
Great metronome app. Has all of the features I could want. Only one problem: I find a couple of the voices/sounds to be a little distracting.
  • Good, but could be better 4/5

    By StilesMiddleSchool
Outstanding app. I wish you unlocked the bonus content though, especially considering I am in the best middle school band in Texas. 🙁
  • Awesome App! 5/5

    By A Stirring Musical, AMAZING.
PERFECT. Thank you so much! :D
  • Wowowowowow (wow wow wow wow wow wow) 5/5

    By pinksheeplike42
I play piano and I am a child on my mom’s iPad doing this. I need (sorry I am too shy too tell you)
  • Volume cuts out! 1/5

    By Fukface McGee
Absolutely annoying. Volume cuts out every once in a while and the beat actually freezes up for a split second throwing things off. Defeats the whole purpose of a metronome! Brand new iPhone with no other issues anywhere so I know it’s not my phone.
  • Great app with great features....But... 2/5

    By Medic43
This app gets 2 stars from me because of what it aims to do with subdivisions and such (even though you must pay for them) without those features it would be one star. Why? Because it sells itself as a metronome. Something that keeps time...a rather important thing for all musicians. This metronome is broken and very inconsistent. Bad idea for new drummers that are working on internal time keeping ability. The metronome is as inconsistent, or more, than a brand new drummer that just started playing. I don’t know what causes this problem. The temp change is quite noticeable once you realize and pay attention to it. It drags and rushes while trying to stay where you want it. But I really just don’t even attempt to use it anymore because of this. It would otherwise be amazing and I’ll change the rating when it gets fixed.
  • Okay but I won’t use it 3/5

    By ElleW343
All in all it’s a pretty cool app, but as an violinist, the fact that you have to pay to get the subdivide feature is a deal-breaker. There are other apps out there that let you subdivide for free and basically do the same thing. The other features you have to pay to get were pretty cool, but I never would have used them.
  • Very Good app 5/5

    By LAB249
I find this app very useful both as a performer and an educator. Easy to use and it does the job, beautifully.
  • App is exactly what it says it is. 5/5

    By Roy Belmont
This app works brilliantly as a metronome, tones of options to mess with. Its also plenty loud without headphones though if recording or playing drums id say definitely wear some.
  • Yuh 5/5

    By ClairítaKitty07
Yo, it’s yo gurl Claire-kitty heya an’ I just gunna say ima real sweet franch hoyn. And I use this app once o’ twice uh year an’ ima tell ya, it treats me right. Peace
  • Pro Version 1/5

    By KarlaLlama
$2.99 is a lot of money to be able to use subdivisions. I can’t even use simple quarter notes without being forced to pay for them. Ridiculous!!
  • Need to work out bugs 1/5

    By bc2304
Constantly freezing and crashing. Very disruptive to a practice session!
  • Yes 5/5

    By Ksgatorhawk78
    It works
  • Wonderful 5/5

    By Gammer2304
This app helped me so much on pieces of music and helped me with learning new rudiments. This is a very useful app
  • So helpful!! 5/5

    By BEKJASTAR4322
I started playing guitar 🎸 and I needed a metronome. This app is recommended by everyone! But that would be helpful if it had a search bar and you could type in the metronome speed.
  • Best Metronome App Out There! 5/5

    By Porsche Mom
I love this app! Always handy when practicing my piano.
  • Get the premium 5/5

Just do it it’s worth it
  • In-app prompts for ratings 1/5

    By lostonroute66
App does not follow iOS setting to not allow in-app rating and review requests.
  • Great App 5/5

    By chets50
Great app! It was recommended by my guitar teacher and It has been a tremendous help! Highly recommend!
  • Great free metronome! 4/5

    By BLUEWOODS
I have used this app for several years and the thing I like most about it is the "Practice Mode" feature. When practicing scales and technique patterns it is SO useful o be able to set up auto-increasing tempo speeds. That way instead of having to stop every time I want t increase the tempo of the pattern or scale I'm practicing the Practice Mode allows me to preset the increasing tempos with a breather bar in between each new tempo to count me in to the next level! I just wish the horizontal orientation button showed the same functionality.
  • Annoying useless 1/5

    By ❤️🌵💃❄️
I found this app very very annoying. I am a oboe player, and the app would confuse me. I rarely used it, but when i needed help I would get so annoyed I felt like crying. It was also hard to work and often would not let me in.
  • eh 3/5

    By SussleO1
app has decent sound, but it’s kinda complicated for my 7th grade mind to handle (lol). the only thing that bothers me is that you have to pay to get a 8th note etc. subdivision. i have audition music and no metronome, so it’s a bit hard.
  • A nice solid metronome with handy features. 5/5

    By MikeSCaro
Of course I’ll take the upgrade please to support your work. A dynamite design. I love the practice sessions that you can set the tempo to increase by the # of measures too. And even discovered the poly rhythms that came in handy. Try the 4 over 3/4 combination (ala Bill Evans). Use the tap tempo all the time. Thanks and love it!
  • Helping a ton 5/5

    By Jon Jon Jinglehiemer
This app has helped me a ton in my strumming and timing. Highly recommended.
  • Best metronome so far 5/5

    By lewafer
I have tried a few metronomes out, but this is the best I’ve found so far. Simple and straight forward but can be more complex if you want it to.
  • Hmm 3/5

    By @mr.r3333
I dnlded this app for the spoken 1234 feature cause to me it’s funny to play to someone counting for you, so for that reason I was happy with it. Only issue is (not saying I’m a machine or anything) but does anyone else feel all the fluctuating tempo? Ive been playing a long time and recorded many things but I feel the tempo moving up n down which caused me to not rely on this for anything more than a smile hearing someone count lol. Is it just me or does anyone else feel or notice this?
