Project Common Voice by Mozilla App
Help Mozilla create a voice for everyone on the Internet!
Donate your voice to help us build open-source speech technology for the Web. Read sentences aloud and rate recordings and transcriptions to help our algorithms learn how real people speak.
We’ll make voices and everything we learn available to developers around the world so they can build the future of voice interaction.

Fix the login process 3/5
It’s impossible to log in through the iOS app since the process relies on clicking a validation link that’s emailed to you, and the link cannot be opened inside of the embedded browser inside of the app. Instead, you just got logged in to Safari, which the platform doesn’t support to contribute to recordings. You can still contribute in the app anonymously, but what’s the fun in that?
Can’t log in on mobile app 1/5
By nsiab xv
The login process requires email authentication, but as you have to open the link in the same browser you signed up in...you cannot validate your email through the app.
I signed up successfully on the web interface, but it still will not let me log into the mobile app.
As the web app won’t work on Mobile Safari, it is impossible to use a Common Voice account on an iPhone.
can't login to this app 4/5
the app is great, except for the fact that i don't seem to be able to login, not even into a new account created through the app.
Voice record has not worked for a while. Now verification is bricked.
Voiceless on My Iphone 6S Plus 1/5
Doesn't work. Page graphics are obviously corrupted; radio button does nothing. Someone at Mozilla oopsed: Didn't test on this phone, on the latest IOS, or...they put out another phone's version as if for this phone.
Donate your voice for a good cause 5/5
The big companies that own speech recognition technology right now don't care about disabled users because they are a small fraction of their user base. But these users rely on this technology and have greater demands than anyone else. By contributing your voice to this effort, you will help build open source speech recognition that can be tailored to the people who need it most.
Common access data is a path to data access equality 5/5
This project is a great idea. A common-access voice dataset ensures speech-to-text is available to anyone, not just those who can pay to use datasets like those collected by Amazon or Google.

"...but it's an answer."
Very fun app to use! 5/5
