    I can’t even talk to my manager. Can’t email him. Doesn’t call me back. Restrooms are locked. I got locked out of the elevator. Not once twice. The carts have locks on them so I can’t use them. Horrible horrible service. I will need we ever stay at PUBLIC STORAGE AGAIN !!! Never !!! How do I reach the district manager I have called for him 3x? When I moved in I borrowed someone else’s car. I was in a rush. Could not get in the gate with my code. I had to wait on hold for an hour. For an hour !!!! Then when the property manager showed up she said she was ther. NOPE!!! A lie. Then she said she was at another property that needed help. She remember era me. Ask her. The list is endless. Do not stay here. I would have rather sold all of my stuff then put up with this abuse.

    The only thing Public Storage has made easy is making a payment, nothing else. Never can wirelessly access my location and the unit isn’t the most secure. I’ve had to contact the police to leave their facility on multiple occasions.

    I’m trying to figure out why am I paying $227 for storage that is damaged on the outside looks like somebody keeps trying to break into my unit. I did not do the damage and I’m guarantee that you guys are going to try to charge me for it.

    Arrived and my gate code wouldn’t work as well as the apps gate open feature. Contacted customer service multiple times and couldn’t not help me one bit.

    They never have anyone here and raise the rent twice a year by 33%. They try to sneak it by you with auto pay and mail flyers that look like junk mail. My unit leaked for the first six months and I have security equipment in my unit that I had to cover with tarps

    I have been renting a climate controlled space 10x15 to just keep items I did not want to take up space in my garage. I paid rent, early as usual and then refreshed my screen and my rent went up for the next month an additional $70. That’s crap I already paid almost $150.

    Although my storage payment was due, access to my unit was blocked. I was still within the grace period (3rd day) before I made the payment. The clerk was aware of this and I informed her that I will make the payment by the last day of the grace but she still denied me access and said there’s nothing she can do about that. This was an inconvenience for me.

    The place is clean and seems secure. However the hours are ridiculously inconvenient. Their rules are also so rigid that if you forget to bring or don’t have your phone with you but you are standing in front of them with a drivers license and a passport, they won’t let you in. They will only agree to email you a message (to the phone you don’t have with you) If that’s what you’re looking for, have at it.

    What a horrible experience. The place is not secure. There is a hole in the back fence. My trailer was broken into twice. The second time someone used a grinder to cut the lock but no alarms went off. My rent went up 37% in 18 months. The staff allowed someone to place a damaged car 2 feet into my space and it wasn’t moved for 12 months despite my requests. Lastly, I vacated my space on the first of the month and missed the deadline by 20 minutes so they charged me another $89 for the month. When you ask to talk to someone in charge no one steps forward and no one calls you back. Do yourself a favor and store your stuff somewhere else.

    Saved card on file and reports that I am late paying. It caused me to pay twice. I think the glitch is to try to make you pay late fees.

    After being abused by CubeSmart for seven years, we decided to make a switch and go to Public Storage. The online sign-up was easy. Courteous staff answered any questions. The ease and stress free entrance with Bluetooth. Mobile device makes getting in and out of the facility a breeze. I would recommend public storage over any other storage any time

    Public Storage is an excellent place!! On my move in date Caprice was so friendly and professional!! She treated me with respect and answered all my questions! It was a very pleasant experience. And Darien contacted me to see how my move in was and she was so friendly and helpful!! Thank you for having such a wonderful staff!!

    Charges vary per unit although they are the same size and the increases are ridiculously high. They are also so quick to put lien charges on your unit when you’re late

    Clean property. I moved in August at $158 And without warning rent increased to $217 Pending a major surgery I can’t move my personal stuff for awhile Feels like I missed something in the contract… or maybe a bait and fish

    This is a great place for storage! The outstanding prices are awesome through the online rentals. The access for opening the gates through your phone is so convenient and easy! No codes to remember! And the manager “Jared” is so friendly and professional. While doing everything so conventionally online, I had questions and called. He was so helpful and very nice. When I arrived he was walking around the grounds and had a few more questions about other available sizes, and he was again so nice and professional. He made me feel like I was the only customer he had. Thank you Jared for such a pleasant experience! The only thing I wish were different are the hours you can get in through the gate. At 9pm sharp you can not get in until the next day. I didn’t realize that and the day I moved arrived around 9:30pm and could not access my unit until the following day. So I had to pay for another day on the rental truck. But that’s my fault, I didn’t read entirely and just assumed since it was online gate access that it would be able to open the gate 24 hours a day. Moving is a grueling process and being exhausted, I didn’t pay attention to the detail when signing up online. Once I knew this, I adjusted to the hours but just wanted to mention it for anyone else who maybe signing up online, so in the process they don’t make the same mistake I did. Daily rental trucks aren’t Cheap. LOL Everyone I know, usually takes all day packing and loading the truck, and usually don’t arrive to the storage facilities until late in the evening. Especially those moving from a different town or state. Again was my error so still deserve five stars.

    The app has no offline mode. So, rather than caching basic data - like the fact that your account is active - it always "phones home" to check a server. The result is a staggeringly slow app and one that doesn't work if you don't have a signal , like when you're trying to unlock access to you floor in the elevator. Ugh. Why are people releasing such crappy apps these days?

    I rented here because a small unit was $115. It’s gone up 3 times in the last 12-18 months, to $150, then $185, and now it’s going to $200. I will move out as soon as I can and never use Public Storage again.

    Don’t store your property here. They are unresponsive, dismissive and apathetic about jacking up their prices WAY beyond rates of inflation. I personally experienced 157% increase in rent in less than 6 months - and in the middle of Winter in MN!

    The Public Storage in Modesto is very clean and safe. The staff go out of their way to help and answer questions. For example my dept card had been compromised and auto payment couldn’t be taken out. I had to wait for my new card to come. I called for help because it was going to be past due. Kim walked me through the steps to resolve my problem. She was very kind, understanding, efficient and helpful. We need more people like Kim in our world. 🙂Grateful

    Trying to get a hold of them the storage company to tell them I will one week late with my payment took a week for a return my phone call , not worth a 60 dollars late charge and this is my first time being late

    When my phone has a VPN Service activated the app immediately crashes on app open. Deactivate VPN and it returns to normal. I’m using Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN service specifically.
