Missing calls 3/5
By office finatic
Three alarm fire in Pittsburg CA and there’s no information. Really bad. This was a lumberyard fire. Displaced many engine companies in the county. Need to step up your game.
I don’t get notifications 1/5
I have enabled all notifications in PulsePoint and my settings, yet I never see any alerts
Pulse point is helpful ! 5/5
By 'Becca L
It’s nice to get these notifications because I’m very busy and constantly on the go. When time gets short and I receive a notification of an accident or emergency of some kind, I know to avoid that area and find another route. Saves me time and frustration.

Individual units needed!!! 5/5
By Firefighter 447
Needs individual units!
Muy buen trabajo 5/5
Esta aplicación es de gran ayuda a la hora de instruir a las personas en RCP y a manera de recodarlo. Que bueno que la hicieron en dos idiomas.
Bad timing 1/5
I didn’t get alerted until 4 mins after cpr was needed & when i walked outside my house where it was the police and ambulance were already there... wish i could have been notified sooner to potentially save a life
Get a big jump on other units 5/5
Goes off before dispatch every time
Good! Yes 5/5

Awesome app, very helpful in my line of work. Use it all the time and have shared with co workers and friends.
No direction 1/5
Why isn’t there a direction given for accidents on highways? It would be beneficial to know if southbound, northbound, etc. is effected

Didn’t hear alert. When I went outside I heard an ambulance. Just happened to check my phone. PP alert
I was block away.
I need to be more aware in a larger city.
Keep sending alerts. Multiple times.
I would have gone.
More coverage please 4/5

It’s great for most of the areas in Washington state, however I’d like it to include east Jefferson district if that’s possible.
Great app but I would like more features 5/5
By Monkey Ry Guy
This is a really good app, and I have used it for a while. Being a Junior Firefighter its good to know whats going on in your department and community, but their are still some features that could use some improvement.
1. Sometimes the app shows that my agency Suffolk County Fire and Rescue does not exist when I enter the app, I just re-download it and its fine. But that gets annoying
2. Make a special feature where it would only alert people that are certified in CPR and have a way to link official certification places to your account, like American Heart Association. And only page the people that have proof of certification. But still make the app available to all.
3. Be able to customize alert sounds and what type of alerts you want to receive, and classify the calls in a severity scale like 1-4 4 being fatal.
Because the tone is made to get your attention and since I am still in school and it goes off it is awkward. Just want at vibration so I can feel it in my pocket.
4. Release more information about how to become or classes to become a “Verified Responder”
Everything else is good and I like the new update, nice a clean.
Not what it used to be 1/5
This app was pretty awesome a couple years ago. I like to know what’s going on in the area and I used to be able to open the app listen to the dispatch scanner and see live what is going on in the feed. Since then I can’t hear dispatch and more often than not I don’t even know what’s going on.
They have the AED/CPR option which is cool but who is going to think about opening the app when someone needs CPR?
The reason why I use this app is completely gone.

Arrived and Dr Yazel arrived at the same time. We went to the car the lady was in. Boss stated she had been unresponsive for a while. When we arrived she was awake and talking. She said she had been in a car wreck 8 days ago. Dr Yazel spoke with her and ask some questions. Explained Pulse Point advised her to go with Ems. Ambulance arrived and I left her with Dr Yazel and Ems team.
Important stuff showcased locally. 5/5
Without this important local local news source, we would miss some important local information that could affect all of us on this small land mass called Bainbridge!
Great app but..... 5/5
I work on a large campus of > 8500 people.
We’ve had 2 “CPR Needed” alerts and in both cases, the alerts sent trained responders to the site’s main address, rather than the building where the emergency was occurring.
This creates delays in providing care. We’re open to having a discussion to resolve this.
Excellent app 4/5
Really love this app and use it to listen in on fires all the time! I'm a volley and I love being able to see what's going on in my area. Right now there appears to be a glitch because the app is only playing the dispatch channel, however, as opposed to patching through incident channels like it used to. I would also love more freedom to switch between channels and control which one you're on so that you don't have to listen to two things at the same time, which gets really difficult and often makes me miss parts of transmissions.
So helpful to know 5/5
Within minutes of the emergency call, one is able to receive an approximate location to administer aid. For the most part accurate locations are given.
Great Tool and Service 5/5
By Old Wheel
As a career EMS and EM professional, I find this platform as a long needed system component essential to activate citizen responders. I live on the west coast of FL and got my first “CPR needed” alert when I happened to be 88 miles from home and was in the Fort Lauderdale Airport. Every municipality should support the implementation of this platform.
Love it 5/5
By Beverly Hill$
Love it but wish my region in PA was included.
It’s really nice knowing what is going on around me. Thanks
Can't shut the sound off 2/5
By Tatay ng Hamster
The app will sound alerts even when my tablet volume is turned complete off. It has interrupted important meetings so often that I had to uninstall it.
Too bad. It is an outstanding app in all other ways.
Hero app 5/5
By best rancher
It is a really good app because I can see what’s going on in the valley and also can see what call my dad is on and also can always tell that he is safe at home and on duty
Great service 5/5
Love this app great service
Very unique 5/5
I hate when apps ask for location even when your not using the app. But saving a life is a bit more important. I have not noticed any drop in battery life and truly believe they only tune into your location when CPR is needed. Being certified I hope I’ll never have to use my skills but I am happy there is this tool to save lives around you without it there could be someone needing cpr around the corner and you’d never know.
App needs to be more adjustable
More info please 5/5

Please show mutual aid to other local cities not just LA County Fire. When Alhambra goes for mutual aid or Pasadena you do not see that unit on the originating call. Disappointing!
Great App for first responders! 4/5
Would be five stars if we had the ability to filter runs by apparatus.
Love this app 5/5
This app is fun to use and helpful
Frustrating issue 3/5
I love this app and its concept. There is one frustrating issue with this app that I have noticed. When I leave the app running in the background, then pull it up, it will not refresh. I am forced to close and reopen the app before the incident list will refresh.
Loved it at first. Very informative. But now nothing is loading and it’s not working at all.
Car accident and cardiac 5/5
I have been able to know when there had been a bad sig 4 car crash blocking the road, saving time as the road was blocked.. also was able to reach a heart attack next to our building a few weeks ago rescue pulled up at the same time, so yes it a great app ..
Lets me know my husband and daughter are alive! 5/5
My husband is a Los Angeles firefighter and my daughter is Huntington Beach Fire. This app gives me so much peace of mind. I am notified when there are structure fires while they are working so I can see where the call is and when it is over. As a mom and wife of first responders, I’m always worried, but PulsePoint eases those fears significantly. It’s also great to know what’s going on in my neighborhood when I hear sirens. Thank you PulsePoint!
Updated app but doesn’t refresh 3/5
I love using this app but yesterday I was hearing sirens and I went to the app and it wasn’t telling me where the emergency was. It hasn’t been updated since yesterday morning. Please fix this.
Great App 5/5
If your interested in what’s going on in your area for wrecks this is the App to get. It’s good information all around for emergencies. I like the heads up if I see a wreck along my destination I can reroute.
Medford, Oregon Fire audio stream not working 3/5
By Standard Poodle Mom
The audio stream for Medford (Oregon) Fire and Rescue is not functioning. It was previously active and has the ability to toggle it off and on however there is no audio for their main channel or their tactical repeat channel which were both broadcasted.
Some things that should be added. 5/5
By Johnny Calhoun
First off, I love the new look of the app. It is very clean. Some things that should be added are like the ability to change what kind of mapping app you use when you hit the Navigate button. Second of all, you should have the ability to have custom tones for different calls. Some that you put in the app and then somewhere where other people can make custom tones. Next, you should have accounts, so that people can save calls, and have alerts for specific stations and departments. You also should include like an on scene button for CPR alerts that will send a notification to dispatch saying that someone is on scene that knows how to do COR. That good with the account idea, and the next idea which is an area where you have to be CPR certified to get CPR notifications. Have a list of places that you can get certified, but only allow people with CPR certification to get notified. Finally, I just want to say how much I love this app, it has helped me out so much with stuff. Thank you for making this app. It's awesome.
Apple Watch 5/5
Do you plan on making this app compatible with Apple Watch?
Such a great idea; I <3 it 4/5
I have used this app for a few months now. When it alerted me to a neighbor’s 911 call, I was elated to be able to try and help. I also enjoy being nosy and listening to the radio. Is it possible to get better descriptions tp what the medics are responding? “Rescue” and “medical emergency” are pretty broad descriptions.
It would be nice if there was more information.
Awesome but... 5/5
By YT BigBubbaBear08
Awesome but I wish we can hear what they hear on Walkie-talkies
Can’t turn off 1/5
I cannot turn this app off on my iphone. Very annoying. It also does not alert to every call but will show on screen. Worthless. I am an EMS supervisor so I need to be on top of things. I also use Active 911 and Pulse. I had to uninstall this.
Love it 5/5
This is better than listening to my scanner
Audio feed bot working 3/5
Audio feed for Medford (Oregon) Fire is not working. Both the primary channel and tactical channel are not broadcasting.
So great for me 5/5
I think the app is absolutely amazing! My one minor issue is that I can no longer select the option for medical emergency notifications. This would be nice to have back.
As a first responder it gives us a good 3 to 4 minutes head up while our dispatch starts the card for us but, here recently do not know if it was a update or not but it will not show on the app what trucks were en route with me or too me it just stop showing the medics and fire department and has not notified me of what I have mark as Notification. It’s great with the mapping hit the call and don’t have to worry about putting in a address or anything. But has stop showing the trucks altogether.
