Great app 4/5
Able to track all calls FR responds to and hear radio transmissions. In our city FR is dispatched prior to PD, so there is a minute or so delay to get a head start on.
The entire county should participate.
By R Clem
When I hear the sirens,I can look at the app and know if one of my friends are in need f help.
Great app 4/5
Two of my sons are firefighter/paramedics for Ventura County Fire. I spent 38 years as a first responder. Love the speed of the app and layout. Wish it had some follow-up info for t/c's and fires.
Good replacement 4/5
This app replaced a similar app and works well.
There's a couple bugs that need to be fixed, but other than that, it's awesome!
LAFD Medical 3/5
By samson minytz
I noticed the past week medical calls weren’t coming up on LAFD
Great app needs gps route if 4/5
Great app as I work as seasonal firefighter and on the ambulance .would like gps Routing just like Google maps for Apple iPhone.
Used to be great. Not so much anymore. 2/5
When I first downloaded this app, PulsePoint sent me notifications of collisions and extended collisions, which helped me to take alternate routes if they were on my route.
Now the notifications have all but disappeared.
I actually got a notification yesterday for the first time in about a month, but when I clicked on it, it showed nothing in the app.
I understand the county has to participate in order for this to work, but since nothing comes up for accidents any more, I will be deleting the app.
Sorry to see it go. No need to have constant GPS running in the background depleting my battery now.
Good but a couple problems 4/5
By TJ Antic YouTube
THIS APP IS GREAT! When ever I miss something on my scanner I always look back at the app to see what I missed. The only problem is, is that if a call is over it will still say active even when over. Also when it shows the units responding/ responded it's off. And some calls don't show up.
iPhone X 1/5
Please make compatible for iPhone X. Also you miss so many calls it’s terrible!
Love! iPad Pro version needed 5/5
Love this app!! I use it daily. Just wish you guys could come out with an iPad Pro version of the app ASAP! Thanks so much!
Love this app!!! 4/5
Very helpful to avoid city streets or freeways when there is an accident. Love listening to live feed, though recently it hasn’t been working. Deleted the app and reinstalled and the audio still doesn’t work.
No audio 2/5
This was a 5 star app until yesterday. It was working fine on Monday then on Tuesday there is no audio. I know it’s not my phone because I have the app on 3 devices and they all stopped working at the same time. A friend said the same thing happend to him. The notifications work, just no audio.
Please fix the problem 1/5
After I close the app it is not opening at all. It is crushing over and over again. I had to uninstall the app and install again in order to work :(
I live this app but it is not working properly
This nice to have
Scanner doesn’t work 2/5
I downloaded the app so I could see what my husband gets into while at work. I have the button to turn the scanner on, but it is light gray and won’t turn on for me. Any suggestions?
Best App 5/5
By FzA Nations
Love the app, I am a Emergency Photographer names Cops And Firefighters on instagram And this helps me a lot. I can respond to calls faster than the Fire Department, I highly recommend this app for everyone interested in the fire service.
Cool app 4/5
I get no notifications for structure fires for Montgomery County PA. I have all the settings checked but they don’t even show on the list of events. Help
Great app - and a suggestion 5/5
By Gabriel McGowan
This app is terrific! It works very well, and as a CPR certified citizen, I really appreciate the opportunity to help when emergency resuscitation is needed.
Just one suggestion: I would love to be able to customize the alerts that I receive by agency. There are some agencies that I want to see all alerts from, and then there are other agencies that I just want to see certain types of alerts, like structure fires. Wish I could customize that.
Works sometimes 4/5
By Thigh disheveled
Works great, when it works. Sometimes I’ll get a notification for a structure fire, I’ll click on it and open the app, and the call is not in the drop down menu. Also sometimes there are calls for fires in the app, that I don’t get notified for. Other than that, not a bad app
First place I check 5/5
When fire season hits LA, this app is the first place I check.
Great app for ems 5/5
Love the quickness to get the info out. Keep up the good work!!
Help is on the Way 5/5
Great app for finding detailed information on emergencies taking place in my local community. Really helps me as an emergency first responder to maintain awareness of new and evolving incidents.

Instantly alerts you when something is happening in your area.
Pulse point 4/5
Nice to have the alert.
It's ahead of the dispatch, so I flip over to scanner app to hear the details.
Cool App! 4/5
I am enjoying this app especially seeing which engine or squad is doing. If it allows me to help someone in the future then it is all worth the download.
Excellent app and purpose, but very inconsistent with alerts 4/5
I want to say alerts work most of the time, but they don't. It has its days where most alerts happen, but usually it's about 40-75% of alerts happen. I know this because you can open it, look and compare that to the alerts your device has for it. I have it on my iPhone and iPad and they both have exactly the same problem and 100% of the same alerts and missed alerts, so it's the app.
Some suggested improvements:
Fix the alerts problem, it's a serious core issue for its purpose!
Support for landscape view on iPad! iPhone not a big deal but on iPad it's very frustrating to always have to flip it around.
Increase the real estate for an incident alert showing unit/incident status info. Memorizing the color legend is hard because a few are not that distinct! Going to the legend when you need it is many clicks away. If real estate is an issue, put a clickable link to the legend on the incident info that pops up to the side so you can reference it.
The active/recent alert listview on the home page for an agency: let users decide whether to list all their agencies or singular, or choose which ones. Hard to get the single pain of glass view by switching agency by agency. Busy agencies/areas would be too much, but let the user decide what's best for them.
If an alert does not have address/map information it's pretty much useless unless maybe you have 1 or 2 units in your entire agency.
Let users choose the sound for alerts

Love this app , if I'm able to help save a life it would be very rewarding .
It's easy to find out what's happening in my area. Has a calming effect - set mind at ease.

Excellent tool to have in addition to Dept issued pager.
Cool app. 4/5
I only use this to see where my local FD gets dispatched. I like listening to the calls as well. Good app, works well.
Highly recommend 4/5
I'm telling all my coworkers, friends, and family about this app now. I was able to respond to a notification that someone nearby needed CPR, and I arrived on scene to do so (successfully, too! Yay!). The only suggestion I have is that when the address for the event shows, there should be an option to pull up that address in a maps application to navigate. I had to punch the address in on a separate app and fumbled it pretty good since I was nervous, but having this feature would have made this a 5-star rating.
Very helpful 5/5
By Can not remember
Great tool for first responders, anyone living in fire prone areas.
Good but not great 4/5
Offers basic info. Very prompt and timely. Useful for avoiding TC locations. More in depth info and updates would make it great.
Love it 5/5
I love this app, it's easy to use and I feel safer knowing what is going on around me.
It doesn't make sense to me why I get notified of traffic accidents clear in the other side of Oahu as me
On the right track 5/5
It's good to know what's happening in the surrounding areas.
Love this app.
Like the App very much 5/5
My son is a firefighter this app helps me to see the types of calls he is experiencing.
Could use improvements 4/5
I love this app as I have been a firefighter Cadet in my area and have previously been a cadet with my county sheriffs office search and rescue team. Wish this app worked better. I know that at one point I use to be able to listen to Portland Oregon fire rescue. The department I use to work along side as a cadet and now can't hear the dispatches. Unsure if it's because of the app no longer providing the dispatch or BOEC there dispatch center. I hate having to go to radioreference to get the dispatch also don't get a lot of the dispatches overheard on my scanner showing up in this app. Also downside would be nice if could implement a way to see Police response as well.
Notifications for medical emergencies 3/5
It's kinda stupid for an app used to give help in a medical emergency to not have the option of notifying you of a medical emergency. Like will it even notify me if I need to give CPR??
Great app 5/5
By Midnight Magic
Love this app, it keeps me up to date on what is going on in my community and since I am certified in CPR if the need arises I can arrive on a scene and help with life sustaining service's.
I love this app! 4/5
This app rocks! It's essential for the work I do, and I rely on it more than I'd like to admit. That being said, the app gets wonkey at times and it can't find my location. I'm almost always in very populated areas or connected to a MiFi.
My alerts also don't work. I took it to AT&T to see if they could figure it out but they were unable to find the problem. Every other alert FB, google, twitter and so on pops up, so I know it's not the phone.
Anyway, when this app works, it's a life saver...literally!
