Two players. One iPhone. Welcome to the Fourth Dimension. Quad Chess is chess with four boards in play at once. A regular 8x8 chess board sits in the center, surrounded by three triangle worlds, each with its own army: - Rook's World (5x5): two full rows of rooks for each side - Pawn World (5x5): two full rows of pawns for each side - Bishop World (7x7): two rows of alternating bishops and knights for each side GET READY FOR THE MORPH TUNNEL Fight your way to the Morph Tunnel squares on your opponent's back row of a triangle world, and your piece slides down the tunnel onto the center board's landing row. Tunnels are one-way, so every trip is a commitment. Will you send a wall of rooks into the center, or save them for the right moment? THE REPLY RULE When your opponent moves on a triangle board, you get two moves on the center board, then you must answer on a triangle board. Every move on the outer worlds changes the pace of the main battle. HOW TO WIN Checkmate the king, or capture it, on the center board. SPIN THE WORLDS Turn the three triangle worlds around the center board with your finger to see the whole battlefield your way. TWO PLAYERS, ONE iPHONE Quad Chess is a pass-and-play game for two people sitting together. Player 1 plays Ivory, Player 2 plays Crimson. Hand the phone across the table and take your turn.
