Can’t record invoice payments 1/5

I am using this app in an iPhone XR with latest updates on the phone OS and app software.
This app does not display select invoices or correct balances on some invoices. It displays a payment and the invoice number it was applied to, but that invoice cannot be found on the app. But the internet access and laptop apps work fine.
I spoke with QBOL tech support, and they said the didn’t think the problem was with their app, even though I’m having no issues with other apps. They said they couldn’t help me. They actually suggested I try another invoicing app rather than QBOL!

Not sure what happened but now anytime I try to add an expense on the app, I select payment method, which is a required selection, it crashes. EVERYTIME!!! Can’t add expenses through the app. At all! The whole reason I signed up. Please fix this!!!!!

After being with this company for for years we had to call in because we were blocked out. We are all paid up be the technician said that we were locked out because we had not paid. Really rude about it too. After calling in again and our accountant calling in too they realized it was there mistake and it was affecting all apple products. They updated the product and did a new release. Do you think they apologized or thanked us for spending 6 hours helping them identify there issues? NO

I use my iPhone and iPad for business on the road with customers. This app has been so easy to set up and to used. Estimates, to orders, to invoices. I also like that I can scan my receipts and they are in.....really liking this app!

App was wonderful but as of 7-2-20 when I open this app on my iPhone (current updated software) I am trapped in an advertisement for opening a new account. I have made intuit aware of issue but still not fixed. Very frustrating as I am a mobile worker. My account still working via web browser.

Thanks for the new update, after a brief interruption I’m able to login again. I’ve used this app a lot over the last 5 years and I love QuickBooks as a company overall. Whenever I’ve needed help they’re very knowledgeable and helpful and I feel that genuinely care about my business.

Why use Quickbooks? Excellent product and excellent support.
I started my company on another accounting platform a decade ago. After numerous headaches with support we found Quickbooks through referral. We were able to port our data over to quickbooks and have never looked back.
Their support staff is excellent and has incredibly quick turn around. The platform is excellent and can be quickly configured to meet any business need.

I am a quickbooks user for my business. As of yesterday I can’t get to my QuickBooks’s online in the app because you come to an offer to subscribe and can’t get rid of it. I have a subscription but can close this offer out. Fix this soon or users like me have to find a new way to do our finances when on the go.
Before this issue it was a really useful app.

I have a account paid through my accountant and all the sudden I can’t use this app. It gives me a 50% code to purchase the service but my accountant assured me I’m paid up. I use the iPhone app all the time to invoice customers and get paid which intuit gets a percentage of. Guess they don’t want that $ anymore?

The app is pretty much worthless. Some things can be entered here, but looking up transactions, it may be there and likely not. Expense totals do not match the real books in the iPhone app. Vendors, some transactions show, others do not like for my most used one I’d like to lookup. Nothing makes sense as the why you would have an app and not show the data or total it correctly.
Ive submitted issues to support, worked with support for them to concur that yes Expenses works on her Android, but not on iPhone. Yet Ive never heard a word from support on my submissions.
The app has been around for years, did not think there would be this many bugs and errors.

The app is now broken. Every time I try to log in it tells me that I have a 50% off offer if I sign up now. I have a quickbooks account. Now it won’t track my mileage tomorrow for my business trip.

I have an overdue invoice in QBO on iPad that was taken care of more than a week ago on the QBO for Windows. Many other items are either displayed incorrectly are the totals are figured differently. Definitely not anything I can trust to use for actual entering of data.

Desktop versus app 2/5
I use QuickBooks on a daily basis. Normally it does a great job. But lately when I receive a payment on my desktop it is marked paid and deposited. It also takes the overdue status off of it. The app which is linked to the desktop will receive the information showing that it was paid and deposited but will not remove the overdue days,So even though it’s been paid and deposit it still shows that it is overdue.How do I correct this?

I enjoy quickbooks. I am able to keep track of all my business information. I have one problem, and it’s ONLY with the app on my iPhone.
It will crash on me at least once a day. Usually when entering invoices and usually after, or as a text message comes in.
This is getting annoying, especially when I enter individualized bills of up to 36 lines.
Please fix this!

There is a bug with this app. When you first open the app it ask for your login, everything is working fine until you start to enter your first expense entry. You will go through all the steps but as soon as you want to save that expense; it will log you OUT.
You have to renter everything you just did. It will do this every time!! It is very annoying! But It is ONLY the first expense entry; everything after that works fine.

Crash issue on iPad Pro 2/5
Persistent issue that I’ve reported weeks ago: the app will always crash when saving a new invoice. Whether full screen or split view (as I often use), the app will hang and eventually crash every single time I make a new invoice. This makes using QuickBooks a chore unfortunately. Hopefully this can be fixed quickly.
After 5 years,2 companies with QB, we were scammed by a costumer and QB did nothing to help us, during the COVID-19 many clients don’t want people on their homes(we sell tvs and home audio equipment) so this client call for a tv we sent the invoice he paid it online the next day he called asking to pick up the tv because of the current situation (COVID-19) so we told him ok, during the moment he was taking the tv we help him get the tv on his car, we have photos of him, TAG number he even signed the order, a week went by the client submitted a chargeback we sent all the photos and signed documents and they still said we were lying and took $1,425.00 from us, we owed a small family business so imagine a hit like that during this difficult times, QB will not fight for you they just dont care
We use quickbooks for everything in ssparco.com We love this program and we would not be able to keep track of 5 states without it!

I have been using QB about last 15 years or so. Therefore I’m very familiar with QuickBooks.
Please make the Memo Field of ALL transactions searchable when you are using this app and this is why I recommend this addition to this great app.
Let us take an open invoice #913037289 as an example:
When I get paid , I call that payment 913037289FS (FS at the end stand for Final Settlement). So when I search the invoice # , it will pull both the invoice and its payment. This works great for me.
If I get paid for a multiple invoices from same customer at same time (this happens a lot) , there is no a meaningful/helpful way to associate the open invoices to the check/direct deposit I just received.
If this “Memo” field would be searchable I would list all my Invoices numbers in the Memo of the check I just received. I hope you got my point.

Ease of functionality is gone from the customer list and profiles. Developers seem to want to be helpful, but simply suggest you engage in work arounds without acknowledging that the new layout has added a cumbersome level to the application on iPad. Wish they would return to the old layout. It was simpler and more user friendly.

I woke up this morning to do billing only to find out that my invoice format had been changed. We could not get it back to the original format. The new formats would not work either. I went to send an invoice after typing over 12 lines of a description and all it says when you send it is Sales.
No one is available for help due to Covid. What a bunch of crap!!

Apple and android do not work the same. Apple, almost flawless. But, I have an android phone which I take all of my labor photos with. Android will only attach one photo to the email even after selecting all. Photos all turn 90 degrees, frustrating. I have to attach photos from my phone, and send the invoice from my iPad. Super stupid, but I like the system otherwise. No “send estimate” button, you have to dig to find a way to actually send an estimate. It wants you to turn it into an invoice before you send the estimate to a customer... bass ackwards. I recommend 100%, but they have some coding to do. I use QuickBooks for a construction contracting business.

I used to always give 5 stars to this software but a recent update has taken away features I used and caused other problems to arise. I can no longer look at my customer list and see a total of the open tickets. I also cannot use GPS to auto fill my customers address when I’m at their house. I have to manually type the whole thing in now and I don’t always know the zip code. Before I just clicked a button and it auto filled the whole thing. Sometimes the address was off a little bit still was very helpful. Also when I click add then invoice, the it asks for a customer and I click add (because it’s a new customer) I’ll fill out all the info, which now takes longer without GPS auto-fill then I write the whole ticket up and select the things I’m charging for. Then click save. It says I need to pick a customer first and won’t let me proceed. The customer is already selected and their name and address is at the top of the ticket. I have to pick someone else, then go back to the right customer which was the one I picked before. Please fix the issues and put the other features back!!!! I love this software before the update

App only works 20% of the time... something that should take 5 min to do will take me 30min... absolutely ridiculous. I’ve had the app for 5 months and it hasnt gotten any better. Wouldn’t recommend an online account either, I’ll be switching to just desktop from now on.

I use quickbooks online and haven’t had access to the app in months. Every time i try to log in it tells me app access isn’t included with my account. They couldn’t help me when i first contacted them; said they would get back to me....only to receive an email a few days later saying they wanted to make sure everything was still ok with the app. What a joke

This new update for the iPad changed how the Customer section looks and removed the ability to create notes directly in the customer’s profiles. Also there’s a bug that makes it so you cant save updates to current notes or save new notes. Please go back to the way it was on the previous version.

Just used the new update for the 1st time. The new customer cards are terrible, many more steps involved to navigate around & the layout is not good. Prior version was much better.

Been with QuickBooks since 2006. I hate it so much. When they stopped ALL standalone versions and forced me to use the “online version” they could not transfer my data from my Mac. I had to send them my data file and wait a month for their experts to migrate it to the online version. Needless to say, they screwed it up. EVERY transaction now had a number. Credit card purchases included. Even if the numbers were duplicates. Wow. That’s just what happened years ago. It has gotten worse every single year. I now use a free online app. I can’t believe the thousands of dollars I wasted on this garbage.

Can’t charge the credit card and it’s very hard finding app support. After inputting the credit card information, the screen goes cuts in half and then kicks you out. Very poor app.
