Few useful features for me 1/5
Most of the main features I need aren’t in the app. Lots of features I never use are in the app. Can’t pull ACH payments from customers, can’t pay bills via Bill Pay. And the QBO mobile site is just as useless.

I’ve been using this for billing customers with invoices on the spot for a few years now with an iPad. Once I started using QuickBooks for processing credit cards it got even easier. Love the app. Credit processing fees lower depending on volume of sales per month. Can’t do quite as much from an iPad as from a laptop, but works great for me. Highly recommend this app.

Maybe I’m the one that’s stupid. However, I wanted to know what it would cost to use this app as a way to simplify my expense voucher. The App Store wasn’t specific about costs, so I downloaded what I’m still hoping was a free app. It makes me create an account. Oh well, to get the information I’ll do that. There’s a box with “you have 23 hours to claim your offer.” It wants me to link my bank account. Not till I know what it costs. How many more things do I have to do to see the price list?
My organization uses QBO but due to our internal controls, I can’t access features we’re already paying for in that account.
This app has a bug than can ruin your books 1/5
When adding a transaction from a linked account, it often does not change the transaction type even after you manually modify it. For example, if I receive a donation via bank transfer, QB assumes it’s a transfer not a deposit. Even after I change the transaction type from Transfer to Deposit and accept, it still records the transaction as a transfer in my bank register. Had to go through a ton of transactions to fix this

After days on the phone with customer support I have come to the conclusion that it’s just a big joke for upper management to enjoy. They don’t care, they don’t back you and they sure as heck will cause multiple issues for you. Beware!
Last few versions crash on opening 1/5
I loved this app. It made business so much easier. Unfortunately, the last few versions, including today’s update, crash immediately upon opening. I’m on an iPhone 7 on iOS 13.3.1. If this continues much longer I’ll be looking for a new accounting system/payments processor.
Recent Update is Awful 2/5
This most recent update is terrible. Constantly crashes, yes app and phone are up to date. Deleted and reinstalled and still same issue. I’m sure QB PR will respond here and says “let’s try this”.... how about actually fixing the issues and having the “back end team” actually follow up and reply to emails as I am told on the phone every time I call in with an issue. It’s the same speech EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not one single response, ever.
Call Customer Support, they never get it resolved. “We’re going to escalate your call” that’s where thing go to die.
It’s time to look for a new accounting software that actually works and is stable.

The app used to work seamlessly but then they made some updates a few months ago and ever since then on my iPhone X and my iPhone 11 pro the search features are all the way at the top of my phone where the speaker is at and the time and battery indicator is at and I can’t get back into the search box to type or delete the names.

I couldn’t do my job without this. Reports, easy entry. Easily connects to my banks and cards. Insanely great. The new feature to take a picture of a receipt and then attach it to a record at a later time was genius. I have no skin in the game in writing this.
Crashing for past few months 1/5
Crashes each time I open the app. Signing in both normally and through Google login doesn’t work.
I’ve also tried reinstalling the app. None of these methods have worked for the past few months.

Update 2/12/20. Jeez. Even worse. Thanks for responding to last review. I would like to respond with - I don’t even know where to start with telling you how horrible the app is now. Go back to before you started messing with it two months ago. Might look for new book keeping software this month.

Not As Usefull After Update 2/5
I use this app everyday to match my clients banking activity. After this most recent update the app no longer shows the banks balance AND the Quickbooks balance. I have looked everywhere in the app and have not been able to find the QB bank balance anywhere. There is no way to know what the actual checking account balance is. This is a huge design error. Please fix.

The new look may just take some getting used to, but do we no longer get to see the QB account balances? It seems like we now only see the bank account balances, as opposed to both. Am I missing it or was that feature cut? Used to see both figures for each account.

Hi I use iPhone 7 Plus and iOS 13.3.1. When open the app, it will immediately crash and turn off. I rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app several times but the problem remains the same. Please advise. Thank you.

Im use to the old wuick books nice and clear reports ecerything is organized. This is a complete mess. I got days trying to organize my business is just not easy.

What happened to the estimates tab???
Used to be great but we generate a lot of estimates. Now I can’t view them.
I could not despise a company anymore than I do QB, yet I’m stuck using it and working with them. My client made 7 payments directly to her invoices. The money left her PayPal account on each of them, I’ve seen all receipts. QB only “processed” 4 of those 7 payments. The 3 missing payments are not in their merchant services, meaning they have no record of them, even tho the website accepted the payments. They have $750 of mine that I collected last week that they can’t account for. This will cause me to pay other people late. I spent 4 hours on the phone with them Friday to conclude they “didn’t know.” This is the second nightmare I’ve had like this. I try never to use them but did because my client wanted to use a credit card then used Paypal in the end. I wouldn’t trust this company with your money. It’s totally unreliable and impersonal, once they screw up no one cares!!!

I thought we would be able to see much more details. Unless I am sitting at a PC we can not see anything past the current month. We would like to see all the details through the app the information can be more mobile on an iPhone or iPad. Not much use for this app in its present state.
Missing important features. 3/5
After weeks of importing and categorizing I have to say I like where this product is headed. Where it falls short for me is it’s inability to have more than one business. My main “gig” is photo but I do rideshare as a side hustle. I also have W2 jobs at times. My account and expenses often run together.
The integration with TurboTax is great, but it’s also where the problem lies with not being able to allocate expenses and deductions to more than one business. It essentially lumps everything together so you lose the functionality of that integration with TurboTax.
Intuit’s only “solve” at this point is having you create a separate account (also another monthly fee) where you essentially have to start over. You’ll also have to manually enter data into TurboTax since your original account is already linked to that email.
Hopefully they’ll improve the product over time but for now there are other options like Hurdlr ($60/yr) that allow you to track expenses/mileage between multiple businesses as well as personal.

Great app except for the mileage tracker. I spend a few minutes going through and categorizing my trips as businesses or personal, close the app, then when I go back to track a new trip it says I haven’t reviewed anything and have to do it all over again. This happens every time.

App is okay, however, after trying to upgrade my account, QB instead created a new account, and would not rectify the problem. Customer service amounted to “gee, sorry”.
Was happy with QB on the computer but not iPad. Tried setting up my business and nothing worked. I am not even able to cancel subscription.

Inconsistent with desktop version 2/5
The mobile app shows different activity for an invoice than what I see, and recall doing, for that same invoice in my desktop QBO app. Inconsistent behavior in bookkeeping software is scary. Until fixed I will only use the mobile app to record deposits.

Transferring to TurboTax 1/5
Transferring company file from online QuickBooks to TurboTax is only was possible by transferring the company file to desktop QuickBooks and from there to TurboTax. To do this transition you will need an old computer with windows 7 and IE11 32 Bit. Totally ridiculous and Intuit looks does not care about this issue and left their customers alone with the issue. It’s a shame.
Received a useless auto response from developer pointing to contact customer service. Their customer service is not responsive.
By the way I could figure out how to bypass the bug in their software.

What I love the most about this app is that I can keep my books updated from anywhere. I can update invoices and receive payment in my kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. I can log expenses in the airport waiting for the plane. My accountant can get my info seamlessly. I don't like the cost of the product, but feel it is well worth it for the function and convenience. Recommend.

1. Somehow my current expenses are not listed under my (few) checking accounts. The last entry is for 2012. Please update.
2. It will be super to have the Quickbooks Payments on myiPhone.
3. QB Online Plus is what I use mostly to have a current accounting report and I am hoping it is useful for my CPA when he checks my account.
4. I got an alert to update my QB on my iPhone so I did because I trust Intuit.
5. I want to be able to work from my iPhone whenever I am off site also.
6. Looking forward to have a Full Service QB iPhone App soon.

This app looks awesome. Very well thought out design and it appears that most of the functions are right at my fingertips. Not so. I have used it mostly for categorizing expenses. I was trying to run a report, but nothing really made sense. I went first to google to look for some tutorial videos, but it appears that most of the videos available online are only advertisements. That is when I went to the help and support section in app. In the section there is a FAQs area. Perfect! When I read the only article in this section I thought it must be some kind of joke. It was an article on how to get to the FAQs section on the app. It is like some perverted Groundhog Day scene, or like when you are reviewing a resume for a potential new hire and one of the sections is the filler text from the template they created the resume from. I expect more from this company. Fix this or simply remove it.

App closes out while entering expenses 3/5
The majority of the time this app is wonderful. On a regular basis it will completely close out and I will lose the transaction I’m in the middle of.
I’ve continually notified Intuit about this since the problem started in April of 2019. The consistent response is that they close out the ticket same day and never respond or research the issue.
Today I’m told that they no longer have a department to help customers with the app.
Now I’ve just recently renewed my annual subscription so I’m out that money because this product is unreliable.

I was hesitant to change the way I was doing things and use quickbooks when we switched to it a few years back. It has literally transformed how we do things in such a positive manner! I look back to how I used to do it and regret not making the switch sooner.

Very easy to use BUT multi currency is a pain. I’m based in US but invoice in UK, Mexico and Spain and with QuickBooks you have to be 100% one currency so it’s a pain for my customers and makes me look second rate as a “in global” business
