New to business and new to the software had and have a bit of a learning curve but managed to find some work around . I’ll let you know what my accountant says at tax time.
And it would be nice if not full capability or maybe just limit use but to include all services . They’re are some I might like but don’t want to pay if it’s not gonna be cost effective.
So say they included tracking 1 employee or let you process 1 card
Etc. just so you could determine its usefulness

Impossible to cancel! 1/5
I tried to cancel my subscription due to coronavirus and QuickBooks made it REALLY difficult. You can’t do it by yourself. You have to call them, person on the phone told me that he can’t cancel it either and suggested to install Chrome app to cancel it. That’s how desperate they are to charge you.

App is crap as well as customer service 1/5
App has not worked for months it just crashes every time I try to open it, I have uninstalled he app multiple times emailed back and forth with someone at the company, sent crash reports, sent screen recordings of me trying to open the crappy app, my device is fully up to date. In theses emails I was told that they were working on a way to resolve the issues that I have been experiencing and I have not hear back from them in months, I pay a good amount for the qbo service and it’s disappointing that the customer service fell off like it did and I pay full rate and don’t get the full functionality of the service. ( I pay full price and get half rate service in return ) .............. 🤦🏻♂️

I really like QuickBooks but the last 4 months, about every 3 weeks it crashes and say I’m using a server that can’t be trusted on my phone. So when it does that every time I have to reset my phone in order for it to work. Please fix, this is getting highly annoying.

“unsupported role” 1/5
Every time I attempt to login, I get a message saying “unsupported role. Your user role will be supported in a future update. Meanwhile, visit Quickbooks Online on the web for access.” So this app is useless to me until that issue is resolved.
Just got an email from QuickBooks CEO saying how they are handling their business to take care of their employees and their business. They failed to mention the part where they forgive this month’s payment due to Covid 19 affecting my income. Worst company.

The program does not integrate with turbo tax. Turbo tax and QuickBooks are the same company but there products don’t work with each other. So now I have an accounting program that I can’t use to do taxes. Ugh...
QuickBooks online has one major flaw 2/5
I have used Quickbooks Desktop for the last nearly 13 years. Coming to the online version my ability to undo reconciliations with one click is taken from me. As a desktop user they seem to think I am qualified but in the online I am not. I wish someone could explain that to me, is it me or is there a flaw within the online version that only an accountant can do it?
As an additional feature can we see the contact info on the vendor screen instead of having to open the edit.

Used this app for years but all of a sudden I can not edit or save any invoices. A window comes up that says "subscription problem" but if you click the subscription button nothing happens. I updated payment info in Itunes, managed my subscriptions, updated and reloaded Ipad and the app multiple times. Sent them a message yesterday, no response. Quickbooks online support can't help because it's Itunes. Itunes support can't help because it's the app. We use this app everyday for making our shop invoices. PLEASE ANSWER MY MESSAGE AND FIX THIS PROBLEM.

The app quit working properly. You can no longer search under the activity banner. I have sent multiple emails to the company but they haven’t responded, so I’m assuming they aren’t too interested in fixing the problem. This has been happening for a month and half now. They have brought out several updates but non of them have fixed the problem. For something that is supposed to simplify your business, it sure makes it more complicated.

The previous version of the app worked well, but this new update is awful. The navigation is confusing, and they seem to have taken away the ability to view the QuickBooks account balances. The only account balance visible now is the actual bank balance, which means you can’t check how much cash is available. I tried to use the help and support option, but it failed, then froze the app. There are also features that should have been added that weren’t, such as the ability to enter checks and transfers from the app. Please bring back the old version or fix this update to include all the information it used to have.

This app is a disgrace. Three years ago they were a great company. Since then, they have trying to put so many things inside this platform that they are now lost. They cannot with the maintenance neither the customer support.

Been crashing on me every time I open it for the last 6 months. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it countless a amount of times. Legitimately, I can’t even come up with a number. I really used to love this app so much. I used it on my phone so much that when it was time to buy a laptop or an iPad I figured it was a waste to get the laptop. Now when I use the web browser on my iPad it’s the most frustrating thing to save or print invoices. I’m sure the the “Development Team” is going to respond with some “always updating and working on it” crap but.... it’s been six months. Get it together.

QuickBooks Online Does Not Integrate With TurboTax 2/5
I have to admit my first time using quickbooks I was in awe. I was thinking this company is great. That is until Tax time came around. I mean I get it and see what quickbooks is trying to do. Quickbooks online has a lot of Bookkeeping and Accounting services in it so that you can network with different bookkeepers and CPA’s to handle your books and taxes during tax time. For businesses that prefer it that way then this is heaven for them. However, Quickbooks online fail to realize there are also a lot of businesses that love to do their own taxes, now it becomes a nightmare because somehow Quickbooks Online do not integrate with TurboTax. Then they want to tell you to purchase TurboTax business, and purchase quickbooks desktop and import your data there then blah blah blah What about the business that operate with iPads only they don’t have a desktop. It just sound like a bunch of money scams. No one wants to keep purchasing services they don’t want to use. This company has turned something so simple into the most complicated situation ever. All you have to do is integrate Quickbooks Online with TurboTax that way we can import data and do our own taxes. This company has so much potential but if they can’t fix simple things their future will not be so bright.
App is Okay, Mileage Tracking is Junk 2/5

Honestly, the app is alright. Usually is outdated info, not reliable. The mileage tracker, on the other hand, is absolute trash. It doesn’t track in the background reliably. There is some sort of a dance with opening the app, closing it out, then reopening it, THEN driving, but it’s cumbersome, and time consuming. I’ll probably keep accounting on the computer, but it does take some wind out of my sails for sure.

App was great until most recent update. They removed the receipt capture feature. Why on earth would you do this? That was the primary reason we used the mobile app.

The app is actually pretty great, but there are so many bugs! Now I can’t edit an invoice I take a deposit on, what is that about?? I have to login to QuickBooks online and then I can edit it all I want. Also, I delete invoices online but they continue to show in the app.

The app is nice when it’s working, but when you’re having issues it’s similar to getting ahold of the president. You will hate saxophones after spending your days listening to them on repeat while waiting for someone to pick up or while waiting for the one who did pick up to reconnect you with someone else. Get an actual accountant, not this.
Online vs Desktop 3/5

The online is perfect when it comes to being able to do estimates, invoices, and capturing receipts.
The issue comes with needing to have it work with the desktop version. They don’t talk, nothing is integrated, and nothing mirrors or pulls over from one to the other.
You can use either online or desktop but NOT both. Very frustrating.
I’ve started using a different company to do the invoices, estimates, keep track of time with employees, and send emails/texts to customers.
New update makes this a 1 star 1/5
This app deserved 5 stars before the new interface. The inability to easily access the banking feature makes this app useless for me. More importantly, it calls to show the bank balance and the QB balance.
Intuit is better than this. Fix this app.

By far the worst software I have ever used not user friendly at all unless your a CPA or bookkeeper. I have spent more time on the phone with customer service then I have in the last twenty years of life. I have consider going to a simple spreadsheet since the number in the program can't be relied on. If you can answer the robotic customer service machine good enough you will finally get to talk to a real person. This person will probably have no idea what you are asking or how to answer expect for asking someone else. Who is also answering question for about thirty other unqualified customer service reps. Both my customer service rep and I have been on hold waiting for the knowledgeable expert for at least 45 minutes. If my franchise didn't require this software for reporting I would use anything else.
Easy to use and access all customers, vendors, invoices and reports. Only complaint is that the dashboard in the home page quite often doesn’t load when I open the app.
Great up look forward for more updates!

Have used this app for 6 years , been on the phone with quick books 3 times this week because it won’t let me make changes to my estimates invoices or let me send out previous ones. Tells me my subscription expired although I have receipts for payment. Quick books can’t help me because I pay through apple .so I was told to cancel through apple so my account would give me the option to subscribe through quick books and not apple but it doesn’t let you.

New app does not have receipt capture on it 1/5
Quickbooks show in the splash screen in the app store that the receipt capture is supposed to be still on the shortcut screen but once my app updated receipt capture is nowhere to be found. Only gives option on expense screen. The amount of receipts that I have to do each day I am not going to sit and enter each expense on my phone in order to use the receipt capture function.

No longer are your options laid out for you in a aide menu, you new have to navigate a bunch of smaller menus and icons.
Absolutely Pathetic 1/5
As a CPA and someone who has used QuickBooks for decades, from desktop, to Enterprise to Online, this QuickBooks is the most absolutely pathetic app. It is lacking in so many features. Even something as basic as running reports with different time frames or variables is missing. Come on Intuit, you can do better than this!
Wasting my time ... again 1/5
I needed to review and update my W4. Clicked the edit button in the payroll window, and red warning opens up: “You have more than one phone of Mobile type” ( I really don’t! )
Nothing else works, clicking anything produces the same nonsense warning.
QB no longer have phone support, any number you dial refers you to “Help” button in your QB window. In this window, two buttons: Schedule Appointment- does nothing. Email- does nothing.
This is just an example how people like me (and you) waste countless hours, trying to deal with QB BS. Run while you can!

This app keeps loosing functionality with each update. Absolutely insane QuickBooks UI team. It was bad enough before the most recent update, now everyday tasks are impossible to find in the app. Reports don’t even have dates on them! No way to filter dates on reports. Chart of accounts is gone. I have three companies using QuickBooks online, we’re going to have to move away soon. The web version is slow, bloated, and an absolute nightmare with each update. They keep changing the location of common buttons, the hierarchy is always changing, and it’s so buggy. Well, 5 years with QuickBooks online is coming to a close for my companies. What a joke Intuit. Pathetic developers.

Most of the main features I need aren’t in the app. Lots of features I never use are in the app. Can’t pull ACH payments from customers, can’t pay bills via Bill Pay. And the QBO mobile site is just as useless.

I’ve been using this for billing customers with invoices on the spot for a few years now with an iPad. Once I started using QuickBooks for processing credit cards it got even easier. Love the app. Credit processing fees lower depending on volume of sales per month. Can’t do quite as much from an iPad as from a laptop, but works great for me. Highly recommend this app.
