Since it got bought by intuit the GPS crashes and employees get clocked out. Looking for something better

I used to love this app. Until you have to log in every single time you want to use it. Looks like I’ll go back to my notes app.

I loved this app! It was very helpful but one day became a paid app. It is too expensive for me being a one man band. As long as I didn’t log in I could still use the app for the basic needs I have. But unfortunately today it updated and I lost all of the data I have ever had. Important job info and hours all lost with no notice. I am disappointed. I will now look for another app. Even if I have to pay I will. This was a terrible decision.
Calendar sync 1/5
Gave this 2 stars because after many times calling them regarding the iOS calendar sync, they have not updated it or even gave any type of solution. It’s simple. Have a real calendar you can subscribe to...you can download an ics file to merge the schedule to your iOS calendar but that’s it. If someone makes a change on the app, it does not show up on your iOS calendar. You have to physically download a new ics file every time you want to update the calendar. Other apps, like humanity for instance, actually let you subscribe to the calendar and it actually syncs by itself. You subscribe once and your set. Don’t know why this is such an issue for tsheets. You can’t even subscribe to the calendar from the app, you have to go on the website to do it. You’d like a big company like intuit would want to make their software function properly. Very disappointing.
Updated from 2 stars to 1 star because after 2 years of asking them to improve their sync feature, they still have not. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Since last update, cannot sync, cannot putting time, chat customer service is horrible from desktop, on iPhone I was advised to reinstall the app, but still the same and no one replies from the chat, again!
Gets very confusing and does not report all time proper. I would like to have a team member reach out to me

As an employee who was required to use this app i have experienced syncing problems to where entire days have went missing because the sync did not finish properly, contacted customer service they ran me around and then basically said I must have reset the app that it was my fault and there was nothing they could do about the missing data, now I have to manually log my entire day but I still have to use this waste of time tracking app thanks btw I still have to go and write down and produce entire written account of all that was done on those days in order to get paid correctly, this has messed with my real life money and time management, would someone there like to reimburse all the hours that got lost so I can get paid! Sincerely, not happy with what happen, I’ll forever write everything thing down never trusting this app again…

Updates and location tracking 3/5
Recent updates have required location settings to be set to always rather than while using. This is a drain on the battery and an unwanted surveillance when not using the app.
A bigger issue that our company has experienced is that users are no longer able to add customers from their phones while out in the field. This has created issues for billing. We’ve attempted to reach out to Quickbooks and have been told that our settings were correct and that they would get back to us about fixing the problem. It’s been about six months and the issue hasn’t been resolved.

Read recent reviews. Since QB has taken over, it is awful. Nothing syncs, you have to log out and log back in OFTEN, facial recognition is painfully slow and now, at the end of the month all servers are down with no clue of when things will be restored.

Every week on Sunday, I get an email telling me the total hours worked. Every week, it barely shows 1 work day. The app no longet syncs!
Why do I have to log out and log back in each time I want the app to sync? It worked better before QuickBooks wrecked the Time Sheets App!!

Android app worked great for our company across 5 different android models. Recently our company standardized and bought iPhones for everybody. Using MaxPro 12. iPhone app Is problematic for all of us. Mostly syncing issues. We are constantly having to double check our work when using app.
Support Reports Don’t Actually Send! 1/5
All of my employees have had issues for months with syncing time sheets. Every time I sign out of my app to reset it, I get a pop up letting me know that there was an error syncing times (duh), and it asks if I want to submit a report to support. I always click yes and type up a description of the issue. I discovered today from a representative that there are ZERO support reports on our account. This app and company used to be great, but now it’s a total headache and complete waste of time!

Used to be pretty good when it was t-sheets. Had minor glitches from time to time but nothing that bad. Now can’t even get it to open on my phone until it’s synced every time completely all jobs etc. Constantly crashes. We have stopped using the app on phones for everyone at work. Looking for a different solution other than quickbooks time. Thanks for ruining a good app that worked.

TSheets worked great, but ever since it became Quickbooks Time it’s been worse and worse problems with syncing. At first it worked okay, then it wouldn’t sync until I logged out and back in. This last time now it lost all my time entries for a week! Between this and the requirement for always on tracking, I’m not interested in wasting any more time on this app.

I’ve used this app for @4 months and it’s very inconsistent on adding new projects. I don’t need it to work every now and again, I need to work every time! The tracking doesn’t work well either. I’ll be looking for another option.

We have battled QuickBooks T sheets/time app for several years. Generally it works pretty good however tracking is 90% unusable in all of 2021 and there’s a lot of glitches that cause things to be undone or duplicated. There hasn’t been any major changes to those issue over the years and it can be quite frustrating. There are so many things that can be done to make this app better that are basic, intuitive, logical that this “guru team” apparently hasn’t even thought of yet or don’t have time to pay attention to. Everything QuickBooks has to offer has brought a lot of extra frustration into our business. Your suggestions will not crate any change, at least not for 3 years!!

All have issues and have caused us trouble and hundreds of hours of lost time. Not always bad but enough to be a thorn and cause a lot frustration.
Look for another option before you start with them. Because it is very difficult to move away from them when you use all their products in your business. Don’t get stuck with QB products.

Our entire staff is having nothing but problems with this app not working for crashing or freezing or just deleting time that was there. WeWe are having to call multiple times per week to get employees back onto the app and to force the apps to work

Tsheets was great until it switched to quick time. Everyone in our company now has issues. My issue is with syncing. It’s not doing it on its own at a regular basis. I have full WIFi and cellular data where we are working. Also it times out when I have only been in the app for a few minutes. It now asks for a sign in every time I open the app even if it was just open and I popped out to check an email or text message. I hope this helps and you are able to fix these issues.

Does not track properly. Have to sign out and sign back in to get time cards to sync with website. Used to be a good app, it was went down hill the since they make you sign in with an Intuit user name.

App won’t let me sync anything. Just keeps saying issue on your end but it never gets fixed.
Clumsy. Terrible customer service. Integration problems with QuickBooks. Expensive. Inflexible. UI is awkward and does not conform to iOS design standards. Needs lots of work.

The app worked great until the Intuit merge. Since the merge, the app signs me out multiple times a day even when I’m clocked in. It’s a hassle having to sign in just to get kicked out in the next hour.

Worst customer service ever! I’m being sincere.
I have been calling almost daily due to a app update where my employees cannot use the service I’m paying for.I am consistently put on hold, just once I was able to have my issue resolved with one agent.
My english is not the best, but is should not be a matter of jokes, it’s unprofessional to say the least.
Also if their techs could listen to the customer instead of always reading the script, some of us as clients do some troubleshooting on our end and sometimes reading the scripts just wastes both our time.
This is a weak-point for an great organization that could be improved.
