I love this. Most of my teachers use it to help us with words. I mostly use it in my Spanish and my history class. And it helps out like no other app I have tried. I just have one suggestion. Maybe there can be an Apple Watch app. Because I think it would be a cool idea so you can learn as you are sitting there bored. I have also tried other apps to study and they haven’t taught me as well as Quizlet does. I think it would be awesome to have an Apple Watch app. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
  • Nope it’s alright 3/5

By hello to the world of peeps
The diagrams and that stuff is not true you have to buy a plus and it’s cheap but nobody wants to pay for that if you do it’s not bad but I don’t want to waste money
  • Lost crisp transition 2/5

Using mobile app (version 3.16.1) and iOS 11.3. When studying a set in a folder in long-term learning, the app does not go smoothly from one flashcard to another after selecting the "Know" or "Don't Know" buttons. Instead, part of a different screen transitions across the screen before it moves to the next card. Not sure when this distracting behavior started...I just know that historically there was a crisp transition to the next card after hitting the "Know" button.

I was using quizlet for a test I thought I was going to fail on and I got a A++
  • Test feature is broken 3/5

    By rBleezus
Since a recent update the test feature generates unusable questions. Such as: “VLAN 1” being the question. And multiple choice answers are such as “Which router has redundancy? T or F”. It’s as if you’ve reversed the questions and answers.. if I could upload a screenshot it would explain in an instant. This error occurs even when True or False option is disabled within test features.
  • Saved so much time! 4/5

Using this App helped me pass N3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. It was so convenient to be able to download flash cards that others made and study right away. The only issue I had was that I wanted to delete or change some vocabulary words that were wrong in other people’s decks.
  • Using Quizlet offline 4/5

    By [Insert best nickname ever]
Quizlet is one of my favorite studying tools for a lot of my subjects because of its convenience, portability, and presentation. But most recent update prevents me from using Quizlet offline. As a student who commutes to school, this feature was extremely helpful to me since I could study on the go. I would really like to have this feature without paying to upgrade my account.

Should be about to study with out having WiFi or any connection what so ever. If you fixed that then my star rating for y’all go up
  • upgrade to lose 2/5

    By shaahinmakeki
i rated 4 stars before because i am using this app since 4 years and it was really helpful for me, i also created many sets for myself and loved it. but now i regret why i upgraded it because you are not able to use it offline anymore and there are annoying ads. like most of the language learning apps that are free and great at the beginning, it became a money trap to. i just came to write my last review and delete the app forever. bye quizlet.
  • Great app, but newest update messed up 5/5

    By AngryBirdsAndConfusedGamer
This is a great app I use for studying for languages, but recently I updated to the newest version and the fonts on some of the cards range from bigger-than-usual to gigantic! They increase in size as I’m cycling through them. Other than that, this has been a super helpful app for me! Developers, is there a way to fix this? UPDATE: Problem fixed! 5 stars!
  • Love it, BUT...... 4/5

I absolutely love this app! Has worked so well for not only for me in school, but my kids as well. Only thing I wish it would have is a way to add bullet points while making my Quizlet. Like notes on Word Docs. Quizlet, please make a way to add bullet points than it will be a 10 star!!!

So I have been using Quizlet for a few months now to help me memorize Chinese characters and so far I’ve loved it, it’s been an incredibly useful study tool. However, about a month or two ago I noticed that the ads in the app were becoming seemingly more prominent and slightly aggressive to where I’d see a banner at bottom of the screen not only just at app’s home page, but also when I’d be flipping through my flash cards trying to study (when I first start this did not happen). This was distracting and I wanted to get rid of them so I looked into Quizlet’s paid upgrade plans to go ad-free and what the prices were. I did this within the Quizlet app and when I did, it showed me that a Quizlet Go subscription would cost me $5.99, billed annually. I figured, well I use this app often enough that paying $5.99 a year isn’t so bad if it’s at least going to finally get rid of these distracting ads. So, I subscribed to Quizlet Go through the app, got the little prompt from the App Store about it being a subscription and so on, and I confirmed everything, paid the $5.99, got an email from Apple about the charge, and everything was all good, totally ad-free and I was happy. Everything was all good up until yesterday. Because yesterday I happened to be in my App Store account settings looking at my app subscriptions trying to cancel a subscription for a different app. After doing so, I curiously tapped on my Quizlet subscription to look at all the subscription plans/prices. And what I found was shocking. It showed the following subscription options: Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $1.99 Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $5.99 (what I paid) Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $11.99 Quizlet Plus (1 Year) — $19.99 Quizlet Teacher (1 Year) — $34.99 When I saw this I was just completely blown away... why are there cheaper and more expensive prices for the same exact Quizlet Go subscription that I had paid for? I looked at their website and I found that the price they advertise for a Quizlet Go subscription is $1.99...so why did my app show me a price that was $4 more than this when I went to go subscribe? Very, very, shady....not to mention too that I imagine some poor folks somewhere are being charged that $11.99 listed there for a subscription that is supposed to cost $1.99! And so of course naturally I wanted the cheaper price. And fortunately enough, when I tapped on the $1.99 option, the App Store said if I change to the cheaper option I’d be refunded the difference of the $5.99 I paid, minus the $1.99. And so I did this and a few days later I saw the refund on my credit card. However nonetheless I shouldn’t have had to do any of this and I should have been charged the same price as everyone else from the get-go. I imagine there are plenty of people who don’t notice this discrepancy and are being charged more expensive prices. So what gives, Quizlet? Why are you guys charging people different prices for the same exact subscriptions? Not cool. P.S. your latest update has a bug that now makes my Chinese characters’ font sizes on my flash cards change randomly to massive fonts, rendering studying impossible. Thanks.
  • Ok. There are ALOT of bugs 3/5

  • Good app for DLI students, especially Chinese. 5/5

    By No cuteness in update.
Two bugs but everything else is perfect 👏🏻. The first bug is that whenever my teacher goes and checks on who did quizlet and who didn’t those who used the app says they didn’t finish the set and I did it three times. Second bug is that mine is freezing up and is really annoying.
  • Apple Watch version? 4/5

    By aresto15
I’ve never been a fan of flashcards to study. The tedious time it takes to develop meaningful cards is one of the reasons I’ve never liked them. However, I like this app and I feel that all the options it offers to practice/learn the information is quite awesome!!!! From playing games, learn, shuffle cards, etc... the app is fenomenal! The reason I only gave it 4 stars (IT IS A 5 STARS APP) is because it would be nice to have version for the Apple Watch! Something basic, but it would be very convenient!

  • Almost perfect 4/5

    By ncmtngirl60
Quizlet’s newer updates of having definitions automatically suggested after typing in a word and being able to change the background themes are great. My only recommendations are being able to add pictures without having to pay extra (that’s ridiculous, come on; at least let us upload personal pictures or something), but my most important is to fix a glitch!! Whenever I go out of flash cards to edit my set and go back in, or Star a card, it moves ahead like 3-10 cards and I have to scroll backwards until I find where I previously was!! It’s extremely annoying! But other than this weird skip glitch on flash cards and not letting people upload pictures, the app is great.
  • Glitches 2/5

    By Lovebug1222
I love quizlet but the app glitches really bad when your trying to test yourself. Everything I try to pick my testing opinions it kicks off all options and says that you must have one form of testing style. Won’t let me get rid of the written category... 😠
  • I’m a fan of quizlet but... 2/5

    By Miri091
Taking away the offline feature unless you upgrade is such a bummer. I love being able to study while I’m in the road and able to see my flash cards if i was able to open them at least once when I was connected to WiFi. I’m not going to upgrade and pay $20 because I do use other apps more frequently and pay $5 per month. I just don’t see this app being worth $20 per month.
  • Thank you!!!! 5/5

Merci pour l’application! Thank you so much for creating this! My professor uses this to put the vocabulary of my French class up here and I have been retaining my information much better than just memorizing from the book. I love the rocket game. It made recalling under pressure much easier! I’m also creating new lists of vocabulary from the French children’s books that I read. Please please continue to develop this app. You have helped numerous learning lovers to achieve what they want. Merci beaucoup!
  • Best app to help with studying!! 4/5

    By Hjspnsmps
Iv used quizlet for around 5 years and its always my go to for studying anything! Its so easy and convenient instead of carrying around flashcards Update: I still love quizlet but i have to take a star away because this new update is terrible, I wish I could go back and undo the update because now i cant access my cards offline without becoming a plus member, as a student I already am on a budget so please let me access my cards offline again!

I’ve been using quizlet for almost 10 years now, as both a paid and unpaid user, and have never had the kinds of problems I’ve had with this last update. I can’t even get through 10 cards without the app freezing or crashing. The text on the cards gets resized and the app becomes essentially useless. PLEASE fix your app

I have to have little distraction when studying and having a moving ad at the bottom of my flash cards is horrible.
  • Great for language learners 4/5

    By Jimmy Baum
I’m disappointed I didn’t discover this valuable asset when I was teaching. But I use Quizlet for practicing Spanish and French. The timed night mode for subscribers is 👍🏼. I have one suggestion though. I’d like to have an “add” flash card button more easily accessible rather then up top and edit set, then add. Thanks for making a great product!

Quizlet is my favorite study tool, period. I’m a Japanese learner and my brain doesn’t remember things all too well, let alone vocab! But with Quizlet, I can make study sets while I read Genki and then study and quiz myself! And I’m remembering information! Without Quizlet, I wouldn’t know Japanese - that’s not a stretch at all. I don’t think I know of anything that I would change with this app. Maybe change your username more than once? I don’t know, haha. ありがとう、Quizlet! 私の日本語はよりよいです! さようなら!
  • Nice app but 2 major flaws 1/5

    By Pomx2
Apr 2018 edit: Weird...recent updates actually make the app worse. I don’t see any notable improvement, just more ads...and most importantly the app freezes A LOT when reviewing flashcards (it’s not even a large deck). The ads I can make peace with but the slow/lagging interface is unbearable. Reviewing cards is the core of Quizlet so if this continues I might have to say goodbye unfortunately.😰 Hopefully the dev team will do sth about this 🙏 ————————— Previous review: There are 2 isues I've been having with the Quizlet app: 1. Audio is unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Especially if you have long sentences or after you've hit play on a few cards. 2. No "clear cache" button. I learn more than one foreign languages and have to use the TTS option often. After awhile the downloaded audio doesn't get cleaned up so the app size gets blown up to >500MB, >1GB, etc. A lot of apps have this feature, I don't think it's too difficult to incorporate, is it? Still, I love Quizlet and it's still my 1st choice for flashcards app. Thank you for making and diligently maintaining it. I hope the dev team will heed my humble requests above ☺️ (and ofc I will fix my review asap when that happens)
  • MUST share photo stream 1/5

    By dtoyd
At least one competitor to Quizlet allows snapping a photo and attaching that photo to a card. That requires the Camera permission, which I'm fine with. But with Quizlet, I must give access to ALL my photos and videos (including the locations where I took them all, if I understand Apple's privacy policy) if I want to add an image to a flash card. What about a "Share with Quizlet" item instead that allows me to share just the specific photo/images that I want to share with Quizlet? I paid $20 for a subscription, which I thought was a monthly fee, but charged one year upfront, just to add images so I'm very disappointed that sharing my entire photo/video library is the only way, with Quizlet.

I’ve been using quizlet for the past 5 years, mostly for school stuff. Then, i cant recall what update it was, but it disabled the offline mode and makes me pay 1 a dollar for it. Now I know I may sound a little greedy, but my parents dont give me any Digital money, and I am unable to buy the offline mode because of this.
  • No more offline studying? 3/5

    By KittyLoup
I loved the Quizlet app. Used it all the time to study on the go on my iPad. Now I can’t unless I have WiFi (or pay). That was a cheap, low blow to students, Quizlet. Don’t give us a great feature and then take it away bc you’re greedy. At least include that feature in Quizlet Go to make it affordable for students. Now looking for an alternative.

Shame on you, Quizlet! After years of allowing users to study offline, you suddenly without warning start charging for that basic feature.
  • Charging for offline studying now?? What happened to you quizlet?? 2/5

    By SalsaLlama
Been using quizlet for a while now, has been a fantastic app until recently, and with recent updates, more ads have popped up and most annoyingly, can’t study offline, even sets you’ve created yourself...I understand charging for premium features but what gives? This used to be included...what’s the use of making your own note cards if you have to worry about having a signal to take them with you?? Please change back this feature, very upsetting and petty

This app has saved my life... my only problem is sometimes when I scroll down when on a set the gray banner at the top moves downwards and covers the cards.

  • okay but seriously quizlet?! 1/5

so ive been using quizlet for almost five years now and its been the best way to memorize my vocabulary. i also liked how i could use quizlet offline so since i have almost no data and wifi at my house is so bad i could still study. now i think the new update(?) made it so there is a separate offline mode that you have to pay for. i come from a low pay income family and i cant afford to spend the money that barely keeps my family fed on offline mode. i hope this gets to the developers and they bring back the offline mode that anyone can use.

Quizlet has really helped me. My spanish teacher uses this to create study sets. It has helped me pass spanish. Thank goodness for this app. However, it is very glitchy. My spanish teacher requires me to do study guides, and sometimes when I complete them, it says I didn’t. My spanish teacher has reached out to quizlet, yet they told her that the students were probably lying to get out of it. You could have checked for glitches.. Please fix your customer service because I am not lying nor are my other students and we can usually prove it. FIX IT QUIZLET!

Quizlet used to be great. All of the sudden they want money to study offline and many other things. Just another company that sold out to make a buck. If it was a one time fee I could understand but a $20 subscription for something as basic as studying offline is really poor. I’m moving to a different flash card app.

Okay so last year in school I really didn’t know how to study that good. I hate flash cards so much bc I always make them so messy. This year I started using quizlet to help me study for tests and quizzes and it’s great! I’m an A student bc I can study on the bus with quizlet on my phone!!!! I honestly am so thankful for quizlet and I always make one to share with my friends for tests I need to memorize. The only think that I think needs to be added is like an open response part of quizlet. So I can type key terms for an essay or response and if I include it in my writing it’ll say I got it right. Quizlet is such a great study tool and I am so thanksful I have it! Thanks quizlet for helping me get good grades!!❤️

I use Quizlet Flashcards to study for vocabulary. I use the "test" option, but I use it in a way to study the words, I can't do that without the "instant feedback" option. I want to know if it's right or wrong right away. I don't want to take the entire test thinking that that's what a word means when that's not what it actually means. Give us back the instant feedback option, people who don't need it simply won't turn it on but those of us who rely on it for college courses would like to have the option.
