    This app works well for me and my fav barista. Ordering ahead makes it all flow. It is especially helpful during pandemic paranoia. The only thing I touch is my phone! I would rate 5 stars if there was a way to enter a custom tip.

    May 3, 2020...Would be 5 stars but I recently made an order for pizza from a local shop but it was closed. Why is the app allowing u to order from a place that’s closed? I walked to the pizza ship and the doors/windows were boarded up. Sent a message within the app to what I believe is “customer support” to get a refund, twice. No replies/no refund. If you’re using the app, make sure the place is open before ordering bc u probably won’t be getting any customer support whatsoever or refund.

    I ordered with a local business that uses this app and signed up for the service. When I downloaded the app it said my account didn’t exist but when I tried to sign up again it said I did exist. Tried changing the password per the “forgot my password” option it never sent the link! Not a good start! Not cute might delete....

    It’s not taking my credit card, I found a way to do it via the place I wanted to order. Odd it works there. There’s a help feature to report it but it wants partial personal card info which I feel is unnecessary.

    My office is in a good location and I can never think of what to have for lunch. This is the first app I go to. Hopefully more options will be added so it can be the only app I need to check. It’s great being able to order my coffee while on the train, know when it’s done the stroll up to pick it up. It’s the little luxuries I appreciate.

    There have been a lot of changes lately. It used to be fairly easy to get discounts on food and earn points. Now the points you earn are hardly worth it. The way the math works is 5,000 points = $5 off, but for each dollar you spend you only get 10 points, so you need to spend $500 to get $5 off meaning it’s a 1% reward which is just not worth it. There also used to be an ability to use points for discounts, which you can no longer do. I used to be a daily user of this app, but now I will just go directly to each restaurants website to order and take advantage of their loyalty program. Also the website is just terrible. I know this rating is for the app, but I use the website also because I don’t get good service in my office building.

    I really wanted to like this app but the concept only works if the restaurants buy in. There are numerous times when I've used this app and the restaurant only just starts preparing my food when I've arrived and asked to pick up my order. Not sure what is the point of the timer that tells you when you should leave your home if this is the typical experience.

    When you order from a place ritual will multiply your points by 20 if you order from there again within a week. I have just realized that they have only been giving me 10x the points instead of 20. I spend my money on places because I will be getting my points multiplied by 20. I ordered something that was 124 pints originally, and I have noticed that the number “multiplied by 20” is 1,240. I have not been paying attention to that, and now I have realized that ritual is NOT giving you the points that they say you will receive. I could have been getting 2,480 points for an ENTIRE YEAR. But I have been deprived of these points and I am very disappointed in their system. They are not truthful to their deals and that means that their system is either messed up, or what I think is they are scamming you. I would like to have the points that I have not received in the past year, thank you. Please respond to me ritual!!

    Despite multiple times clicking on unsubscribe buttons and emailing them separately, they did not stop emailing me unwanted emails about their products, notifications and updates. You will get so many annoying emails and messages that it’s not worth the 5 minutes that you save by ordering at the restaurant.

    Chicken did not taste fresh nor did the shrimp and even worse the mushroom are canned possibly the baby corn also. I tried to put spicy sauce to help but unfortunately it did not. Very disappointed

    I love using this app, I just wish it wasn’t so pushy about forcing me to be available to pick up orders for others. I can’t figure out how to turn that off and I’m considering going back to waiting in line and buying my lunch the old fashioned way because of it.

    Round Three (and now removing one star) We are four plus weeks in on this topic. Support responded again to this review. - and asked us to start all over contacting support from scratch (and to reference this review) ~ because maybe the review changes the priority of the support tickets and twitter requests? @Ritual - you have everything you need to address the topic. Put a little effort in ad stop asking us to start over again from scratch. @Ritual - please stop reciting the terms and conditions - we contacted support because these terms and conditions were met. @Ritual - why all the passive pushback? ——- Disappointed by support again... Ritual support responded to this rating (meanwhile the support ticket remains ignored.) Their response stated that the referral was needed to unlock the codes - when this entire support issue is specific to that very topic of the referral, who became a customer and made purchases through the app. Ritual even provided automatic updates of the process. Support: Referral was made. Ritual acknowledged the referral, acknowledged the referral status and even informed us of the new purchase by the referral. Nothing but delay, dismissal, ignoring the request and other forms of passive pushback. ——- Disappointed by support. Ritual runs promotions where referrals that result in a new customer that makes an order unlock special lunch promotions. Well, Ritual did not honor the promotion. Support did nothing but send a vanilla cut/paste response denying the promotion. Future inquiries have been ignored. Support has to be from the app. Get to the app, click hello and it only states something went wrong. Rinse and repeat. Ignored. Two months now.

    I’m not a big app person but I love this app! It makes ordering and pick ups so easy and streamlined, you get exposed to some good restaurants and food options you may have otherwise overlooked and you get perks for using the app too! Only draw backs are that there is no live person to call if a problem arises (but their online support is really good and responds quickly so not a huge deal) and there could be a bit more explanation/definitions given on the mobile app and their website for the different deal types offered, but other than that, this app is so great and it’s been pretty addictive for me to use!

    My job makes us use this app and refer it to customers and apparently we get paid for referring but I haven’t seen a dime of the money. Maybe I’m not doing it right but I’d appreciate help from the Ritual support team
