Nice app 5/5
It is soo good for learning English
This App Saved My Life 5/5
Y’all need to download this app, it saved my life. I went from sounding like a midget Fez from That 70s Show with a high pitched voice to a sexy smooth voice that enunciates words so well I've been told can soothe the darkest of souls. Basically I’m Hispanic Barry White now thanks to Rosetta Stone. So yeah download this y’all and you too can sound like an Adonis 😉😉😉
Pretty good 4/5
By Alexander Hamilton~
This app feels like a good way to get started on a new language. But it doesn’t seem optimized for mobile. Some text gets cut off, and images can be very small.
Still love it and even more 5/5
I thought you couldn’t have it translate it. But I noticed you can. I still think it should probably be more clear like show you have a choice to translate it at the beginning of setting it up. But I still love it
Great App 5/5
By No No Nanette 1
This app is great at covering all aspects of learning a language, including but not limited to pronunciation. It also teaches in a manner in which one would learn as a child growing up learning a language, which is also very helpful. It may sound childish, but, it works great!
Worthless Japanese language app 1/5
By Dr. Michael Pangelinan
Why the hell do the Rosetta Stone developers for Japanese think we need to know about horses & swimming in Tokyo?
Why not start with how to say hello, thank you, excuse me, & how to find a train platform or order in a restaurant?
Complete waste of time & money.
Save your sanity & simply find & practice what you can learn for free on the many youtube videos on basic conversational Japanese phrases.
Great but needs improvements 4/5
I use Rosetta Stone for school and it is great! 😁 I am also really excited for Rosetta Stone to be on macOS Catalina!😜
But 1 main problem is when I’m using the microphone, I’m actually saying the word correct but it’s says it’s incorrect, so that’s 1 annoying thing in Rosetta Stone right now. So if Rosetta Stone fixes that, then I would rate Rosetta Stone 5 stars.⭐️ But overall Rosetta Stone is a great app!
Extended Learning 2/5
By Shamcie N.
I m using this app on my iPad, the problem that I m facing is on the recording. For some reason, the recording stops before I finish the story. It allows me to record two or three lines.
I sent a message via support line but I haven’t heard from anyone!
Any answer will be helpful
Very enjoyable way to learn!
Good but voice aspect needs work 4/5
Using on an iPhone 7+ and the pictographic learning where you match words and phrases to pictures is a great way to learn, but the voice component where it listens to you needs improvement. It works sometimes, but other times will report difficulty due to background noise when there is none or have trouble processing what you are saying even when speaking clearly. And when it detects that you are saying the phrase only partially correct it would be nice if it showed you where or how you are erring in your accent. It could do this by showing the word with the accent it heard juxtaposed with the accent you should be using. Other than that it is excellent and recommended as effective and enjoyable. I’m 37 and enjoy using the app, and so do my daughters age 5 and 7. So it really is for everyone.
Mostly awesome!!! 4/5
By Not Mike20
I really love how quickly Rosetta Stone has helped me to relearn what I already knew and introduce new material in the same days by using the language more naturally. I find that the immersion keeps me from thinking in translation but more like new synonyms. By far the best of all the apps I have tried out in the language learning genre. I don’t really enjoy using it on my iPhone since it’s such small images, but on the iPad it’s great.
Why do I say mostly awesome then?
Understanding who the picture is referring to is sometimes difficult like the subtle difference of eye contact can be the difference between “ He is swimming” and “I am swimming”
Or “We” and “they” mix ups for the same reason.
The voice interpretation is also about 95% of the way there. It just sometimes doesn’t give you credit for saying anything or half of what you say and will mark it as wrong.
The milestones can be very difficult to say the right thing even though what you said was situationally appropriate you can still be “wrong”
Para los que no sabemos muy buena ... bien para llevar un ritmo de aprendizaje
needs one login for multiple accounts 4/5
Using this for 3 kids in home school. Couple things would make this better. 1) the play button needs to bigger. It is too easy to accidentally hit the wrong answer when only wanting to replay the phrase. 2) Reeeeeeaaaaalllly needs multiple accounts with a single login. It is a pain to log in/out when sharing a device. Even more annoying when you cant even tell which account is signed in. For families there should be one login with multiple profiles like Netflix or the Teach Me apps.
Othwise the lesson structure is great!
Loving it but a small tweaks would be nice 5/5
I’m really loving the app and learning Italian, but sometimes it’s weird. Like the app won’t pick up my voice. Even though it just did a moment before. I also wish there was a way for the app to tell you why it’s saying you’re mispronouncing something. Sometimes I feel like I’m pronouncing things right, but it says I’m wrong. Is it an inflection thing? Am I not saying the letters right? I kind of just have to guess until I get it right.
By will's hunting good
I would write this in English but I can not so I am translate it
By 12345678910 21
This app is good for beginners. If you only know a little bit of (the language) then you might have to re-learn a bit. It said I finished my spanish lesson, I tried to do the next one, and it made me re-do the first test/part.
I love stone 5/5
It’s so great 🤦🏻♀️
I like Rosetta Stone. 4/5
I use Rosetta Stone alongside a few other language learning programs. It seems like each program puts more emphasis into either pictures or vocabulary.
It is great using both methods together.
I have to do a little guessing after a certain point. That is why I would suggest building a foundation with Duolingo for its repetitiveness in vocabulary. Rosetta Stone will be the finishing program to strengthen those lessons.
Rosetta Stone 5/5
By the best vpn in the world
Great app simple and easy to use and hopefully I learn Spanish after a while but overall easy to understand and work with.
I’ve always wanted to try Rosetta Stone. In the past it was far too expensive, but apps like DuoLingo weren’t cutting it. It’s worth the money (and the price has gone down SO much). I feel like I’m finally learning again.
This app makes me want to puke 1/5
By Don_loves crappie
Horrible I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone wanting to learn a new language
Great Program 5/5
Have loved using Rosetta Stone for years. Application works great and is super useful for practicing languages when and wherever
I keep getting emails 1/5
Why am I getting emails when I deleted the app? And don’t get the app if you want emails every hour.
Rosetta Stone 5/5
Great way to learn! I would recommend it if you are trying to learn Spanish .
Great App! 5/5
This app is great for learning how to speak a language functionally and connect to speakers of a different language. The point of this app is to instruct on how to communicate and interact with other people. I’m taking French on this app and I found the lessons to be helpful, as well as the grammar and pronunciation guides. If you’ve just moved to a different country and want to know how you can speak with the people of that country as quick as possible, take this app. If you’re an immigrant who can’t speak the language of your destination country, take this app. It will make your life so much easier.

So far so good. It’s pretty cut and dry. I am learning Russian and enjoying it.
I love it!😃 5/5
It is very assisting. The apps makes sure that you pronouncing the words correctly and more. I think think the app is wonderful
Enjoying this 4/5
By Dawn Jewell
Really like so far but wish it gave English version of what I was saying and not just pictures. But I’m getting it I think!
I Love Rosetta Stone and it’s affordable! 5/5
Hearing and seeing the pictures has been more helpful than trying to study on my own.
Totally working 5/5
I can’t believe I’m picking it up this quick. It definitely is working for me so far. Can’t hardly stop thinking about it
By Generic angry nickname
My biggest complaint is essentially on the grammar sections, particularly on the Japanese program. No explanation is ever clearly provided for why certain grammar is used but you are expected to “guess” during their grammar section. It would be nice to actually be taught the grammar before being expected to use it.
Thank you so much Rosetta Stone for teaching me Spanish. Gracias
Great, but audio play issues 5/5
By Miss Daisy!!
I have been enjoying Unit 1 very much. It’s broken down into 5-10 min chunks of time, and everyone has 5-10 minutes to spare! HOWEVER, throughout, I noticed that sometimes the audio files won’t automatically play. I have gotten past this by manually pressing the play button so I can hear what I was intended to hear for the lesson. My problem right now is the Unit Milestone lesson. It apparently requires a bunch of listening. BUT the audio isn’t playing (even though the pictures keep advancing), and I have no way to get around it because there is no Play button for me to manually invoke the audio play. It’s frustrating, and after sticking with it through Unit 1, it’s especially annoying because I was looking forward to the Milestone lesson and getting a good score before moving on to Unit 2. I have the most updated version of Rosetta Stone app. I use a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I hope the folks at Rosetta Stone can get these audio issues resolved.
learning by logic as children learn 5/5
By Patti 4243
I love to learn by logic and not by translation. It helps me to think in French while I learn in French. Better than Dualingo by far
Glitchy af 1/5
By larry z R
I'm over repeating lessons because the app can't track your progress accurately. Speech settings don't work consistently either. Tried this app for a year plus but now I'm out this b. What's good babbel?
Hewow 😻😻 5/5
The best thing ever I have tried multiple apps for learning new languages but they never worked. This works I am 100% sure you will master a language on this app.🙂😊🙂😊
Perfect for my iPad mini. 5/5
Excellent program for my iPad while on my travels or just hanging around the coffee shop touching up on my Spanish.
Good but 2/5
I like the learning with the microphone but I would prefer for it to translate it to my language so I know what I’m saying and learning.
Love Rosetta Stone 5/5
Rosetta Stone app lets you practice anywhere anytime!!! It’s great to learn the language at your pace your time. It’s fantastic and would recommend it to anyone wanting to know a language.
Me encanta es muy bueno sirve para aprender y repasar lo aprendido 5/5
Esta todo bien
Great way to Learn new language 5/5
Thanks for Rosetta Stone! I am learning Swedish for an upcoming trip to Sweden . I wish to learn the language out of respect since they learn English before coming to the United States .
Speech recognition is soooo broken. 1/5
I am so disappointed in this app. Have a three year subscription. Put it aside four months ago, hoping that speech recognition would be fixed after some time away. Nope... The hopelessly failed speech recognition makes using this app unbelievably frustrating. Really bad. Wish I hadn’t prepaid for three years.
Hard to learn 1/5
By Chloe Manos
This app is not good for kids. It’s way too confusing
Easy modules 5/5
So far in the basics lessons are short, concise, and easy to navigate and use.
Amazing and enjoyable experience.
A Glitch 1/5
I'm not satisfy , i paid $214.49 for the unlimited Korean rosetta stone and It wasn't until I went to the grammar lesson in lesson 1 that it went all glitchy. It keeps skipping one question I need in order to move on to the next lesson 😡 please fix it !!!!
Better than most but not very good 2/5
There are a bunch of little things that can make Rosetta Stone annoying but the 2 biggest problems are #1 I am constantly having trouble with speech recognition, and when I shut off speech recognition it skips right through the screen without letting me practice (the only reason I shut off speech recognition is because it doesn’t work half the time not because I don’t want to practice, so I wish it would still let me practice just without speech recognition. #2 sometimes the voice you are supposed to listen to doesn’t activate at all so you have to manually press the play button. #3They think you can figure every thing out with a simple picture. And have only recently add translation to certain parts of the software.....which doesn’t work all the time.
Lifetime is worth it 5/5
