Learn like a native 5/5
This program really does teach like a native would learn... through photos. It’s seems basic, but it’s actually the best way to learn, and it’s definitely less daunting then doing through lists of vocabulary or verbs and trying to learn them yourself. There are SO many lessons, many of them where there’s no new content until you finish them and advance to the next level. I don’t mind because I want to become as proficient as I can. You can also completely skip around if you choose. There’s speaking, listening, mixes of both, the way the lessons are laid out there’s so much variety. Definitely recommend.
It is so easy to learn another language with Rosetta Stone!
Great app! 5/5
Very user friendly. The app/program makes Learning a new language fun and enjoyable, without feeling overwhelming.

This app is awesome I learned a lot in one day I would recommend for you to get it if your gonna learn a language
disappointed and dissatisfied 1/5
I'm not at all pleased with Rozeta Stone. It tells you that you must pay an amount x per month, and when we download the application, they simply take a value above what was said. Please give me back my total money.
This is ok 4/5
I wish you didn’t have to pay for the rest of the lessons, but it makes sense
Horrible waste 1/5

Trying to learn Persian but the app is horrible. Navigating it is bad but also how they’ve structured the learnings. No clue why they’ve only written the words in Farsi alphabet as an English speaker and visual learner I have no way to look at that and learn the language.
Please refund immediately, I’m going back to flash cards.
Love Rosetta Stone 🥰 5/5
Just the whole app and process of learning is so fun and it very interesting and keeps me wanting to learn more. I Recommend using Rosetta Stone of you’re deciding to learn a new language 🙂

Very enjoyable to learn at my own pace and the repetition with pictures makes learning really easy.
Love it 5/5
I love this app so much 😘🥰
I downloaded this app because I thought I would be able to access things to learn the language, but that didn’t happen and it didn’t work for me. Anyways I uninstalled and I kept receiving emails from you guys! It was everyday and it was annoying!!! Like can you do anything that can annoy someone! It certainly didn’t make me want to come back!😡
Excellent app 5/5

Fantastically seamless learning tool for a new language.

These are a colossal waste of time. If you’re going to try to simulate an open ended conversation, then there can’t be one exact correct answer. Sometimes the program is looking for a general statement, and sometimes a specific one. It’s often impossible to tell from the pictures. It’s more an exercise of trying to learn the pictures than the language, and it teaches you to memorize the responses word for word (after you inevitably get it wrong the first time) rather than teaching you to formulate your own response. The milestones are a horribly designed waste of time.
This app is great for beginners love it. Has a variety of languages. Awesome 👍
I’m truly baffled 2/5
We used RS Japanese through a school program for a year. I simply don’t understand why this program is so popular. It claims to teach language the way you learned your first language—immersion and listening—except it forgets/ignores the fact that we are adults and don’t need to learn in such a frustrating and painstaking slow way. Plus many of the images make no sense, the written translations are in mixed hiragana/katakana/kanji (sorry not even children learn to read just by looking at random strings of characters!), and the phrases that may actually be useful to a traveler aren’t taught. Really how is “the man is sleeping” a more useful phrase than “where’s the bathroom”?? I’m beyond baffled as to why Rosetta Stone is considered the best of anything. We quit, bought a book and a subscription to a website with video instruction (waaaay less expensive), and have progressed more in a month than in the entire previous year.
Great software...when it’s free 4/5
Overall, I really like the Rosetta Stone app for these reasons:
1. It’s fun and challenging to try to figure out new vocabulary that isn’t obvious from the picture they give you. The theory of the program is that people learn better if they figure out language from context rather than memorizing strict translations. It makes each lesson more enjoyable than just reading flash cards and helps give you a deeper understanding of the language.
2. Lessons are organized in a way that makes you feel like your making progress. The layout of the app is very pretty and clean.
3. There are a lot of additional features for you to use in the Extended Learning section. You can talk to people who know the language, listen to stories, or read through a little phrase book.
With all of these nice things being said, I would never have paid for the software! Because:
1. There are very few opportunities to make up a sentence in the language you’re learning. You spend most of your time repeating what the app says word for word unless you take time to speak with a native. The app is great for listening skills and being able to repeat common phrases, but it’s terrible for learning grammar. I have gained little proficiency in being able to conjugate verbs or remembering certain vocabulary without the picture being in front of me.
2. There are features in the PC version of the software that aren’t available in the app. Writing exercises and some language learning games are unavailable in the app, but i think that learning to write helps enormously with language learning and being able to make your own sentences. It’s not as though these features couldn’t be added to the app, and I have no idea why they aren’t included because they really should be.
3. And this is the most important point. I think many people don’t realize that you get the full version of Rosetta Stone for free through you’re library. That is the only reason why I think it’s worth it to get the software. If I had gotten a subscription, I would have felt like I had wasted my money. The library subscription also allows you to use the app instead of just learning on a PC. It all syncs up very nicely.
So overall, I like the app, but I would supplement it with both a grammar book and speaking exercises. And DO NOT pay for it!
Finally getting the hang of this 5/5
By older getting smarter
The pronunciation parts really help.
It’s great 5/5
Want to learn German? Rosetta Stone is the way to go.
How good is Rosetta Stone 4/5
I love Rosetta Stone! It’s cool but not too cool whoever made it
Japanese on iPad & iPhone 4/5
At one point the app said I could see translations by holding my finger on the text. It doesn’t work. So there have been and still are quite a few times I have no idea what I am learning. I submitted an email but never heard back. Plus there are virtually no instructions. I am enjoying it for the most part, but there is another portion where I am totally lost.
ITS LIT!!!!! 5/5
Wish I️ could study offline 4/5
Great app and program, but I️ just wish I️ would be able to study without it requiring data.
Needs to have option to view English translation 3/5
I just started using Rosetta Stone and I think for the most part everything seems great with the program. The only thing I wish it’d have is an option to see the English translation of what you’re learning. I think it would be helpful in understanding better what you’re saying/learning.
Great concept but a lot of hiccups. 4/5
Sometimes the program will quit. A lot of times the font is nonexistent. The photos are so small you cannot distinguish them.
I like this app 5/5
By ok it is hard to find a name
I have only been using this for about 30mins and I feel like I know so much more
Italian lessons 4/5
It was fun but hard for me
I used Rosetta Stone when it came in the disc format and I loved it. I am thrilled to find the app is even better. It hears my speech clearly. The pictures are great and the progression reinforces what I’ve learned while adding challenges in small bits. It’s awesome!

Fun and engaging! I love learning a language this way!
Easy to use and effective. 5/5
I am only through the 3rd lesson of the first module but I love it. This should help me in Paris so that I have a fundamental understanding of the basics.
Super glitchy hate it!😞 1/5
I can only sometimes even tap my lessens I spent time getting a 100% on a review and when I was trying to get into another lesson it glitched and made me restart the lesson. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻When I say something to the speaker it only says I’m right when I say the phrase in a weird way.🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣there should be a zero star option!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

By MORE STARWARS PLES
This app helps you learn a lot, specially since they got the microphone features unlike any other apps. It would’ve just been better if you don’t have to pay to learn a language... *-*
Every time I press and hold down a phrase or picture to see the translation, the translation will pop up, but then I cannot move forward in the lesson. It freezes. I have to shut down the app and restart it every time. Frustrating for the amount of money I spent on this app.
Hard to use 1/5
Not sure I believe in their immersive approach after trying several Months. Also many images in the app are too small to see, unnecessary when there is plenty of blank space on the screen.
Lots of times I try to play a sound and it selects the item instead. Very frustrating to get an answer wrong bc it took my click as selection instead of trying to play the sound (word or sentence).
Very useful and helpful

When I moved from California to Washington l lost my Rosetta Stone French or Spanish. I could not afford another. So when I saw this opportunity, I jumped on the chance to do it again. Thank you. I do remember a little bit but not as much as l want to. It’s all coming back! Thank you Rosetta Stone
