Latest version crashes a lot 4/5
By James Baxter
I love this app. It’s pretty much perfect. A bug-fix for the crashing issue would be welcome.
Excellent Med Tracker 5/5
If you struggle with remembering which medication you took, if you took it or when you took it, this app can help. You have to enter your meds and the time you take them, or as needed. But after you enter that info, it’s fast to use. I love it. You can give it a try with just one med in your list before you add all of them. You may love it too.
I have a hectic life with an abnormal sleep schedule, so I forgot to take my medication more than I’d like to admit. I downloaded this app a week ago and managed to take all my medication every day since. I should’ve started using this app ages ago.
Easy to use. No frills. First time I rate an app
Works well 5/5
As others have said there are timing issues but the other features make up for this
Really appreciated 5/5
Glad to have this app!
Sync feature is terrible 2/5
We use this to track pet meds and need the sync feature to know when and who has given the meds.
We can stand in the same room and see different results.
Love the app 5/5
it’s super helpful with keeping up with my meds. I don’t know what I would do without it. I just wish I could change the colors of the app sometimes to personalize it.
Simple and Effective 5/5
By Howdy young
A no fuss app that delivers what it says it will. Haven't forgotten my medicine yet and the perfectionist in me hates to miss a day so I can keep all the pretty dots in a row. :)
Fits my needs perfectly 5/5
This app works perfectly for my needs. Allows me to schedule multiple meds for different times during the day, easily. User interface is well thought out, and when I emailed the developers with a question, I got a response in very short order, answering my question perfectly.
You won't be disappointed with this app. If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Update: Enhancement Request!! Would be great to be able to create multiple profiles in order to manage the meds of more than one person. Also would be nice to have a drug interaction section. Thanks!!!
Simple and easy to use 5/5
Love this app. Makes it easy to remember regular meds and also track how long it has been since I took a periodic med like painkillers.
Beautiful + Simple, Missing One Thing 4/5
A beautiful UI and incredibly simple UX that makes taking doses on schedule a pleasure instead of a chore.
The only thing missing — which I’ve written to the development team twice about with no response — is the ability to schedule a dose at an uncommon interval that is only trackable by days on and days off.
Example: take one pill per day for 14 days, then do not take any for the next 14 days, then back on and back off.
This prescription dosing schedule works for birth control and other hormone medications.
It’s unfortunate that there isn’t an offering in the app for this type of scheduling. I would pay for it. I found a manual work around, but if I forget to adjust it every 14 days, I miss my dosing windows.
This is my last attempt to get this in front of the dev team, as I am now exploring one of the other highly rated apps called MediSafe Pill Tracker as the alternative.
Again, beautiful, simple, and great for those with all other forms of dosage expectations — just not the one I mentioned.
Amazing resource 5/5
I am bipolar and have needed to take meds for years! This app not only helps remind me to take my meds but also acts like an electronic MAR. You can track everything and when you have to go to the doctor and they ask what meds your on; you have all the info right on your phone. I love this app and would recommend it to anyone who has to take medication!!!
Fine for unchanging schedules 3/5
Does a good job of tracking medications. But not very flexible. For instance, you can’t choose which day to start a medication such as a weekly dose. Also you can’t put a medication on hold. You simply have to delete it (or list it as “as necessary “) then enter it again. Should have more flexibility.
Great app but... 4/5
By Cherri bmE!
I've used this app now for a few years and its a real lifesaver. I recently started using the feature that allows you to input each medications quantity so it can remind you when to refill. The day after I set all that up, the numbers were incorrect for all of my meds.
Almost perfect 4/5
Excellent medication timer/reminder app. Flexible and pretty customizable with an attractive UI. Great for knowing when you are supposed to take meds and when you actually did. Especially useful for record of anything taken PRN (as needed)
Would be perfect if you could put in an end or stop date for meds ahead of time (like with a course is steroids or antibiotics that lasts 10 days). It's nice to know how long is left, instead of having to wait till you're done and then press "stop taking this medication."
I've tried similar apps, but this is the best I've experienced. Add the end date option and it will be absolutely impeccable.
Seriously helps 5/5
I have morning, evening and before sleeping pills. I was always forgetting one of those doses before Round. What a great app. I sure hope now that I have rated and reviewed, they will stop asking. That’s the only pesky part. Thanks for this app.
Excellent ‼️ 5/5
This can really be a life saver. Very simple and very effective to use. The Apple Watch reminder is very awesome too.
I think some of the criticisms are valid, but not all. I know everyone has different needs. Some features/settings that are thought to be missing are actually there. You just have to explore all the settings for it to be the the most efficacious and work as described. Once accurately set up it does its job very, very well.
*** My only request is a “snooze” feature. Sometimes when you can’t take the meds within the window you set, it would be super handy to hit a snooze for 1,2,3 hours, whatever, to give you reminders when you get back to your meds. ***
Highly recommended as is though, hence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Everything and anything ever built can always be improved (except maybe the Pyramids). Keep up the awesome job. Thanks Circadian
A really wonderful app. Extremely good at what it’s supposed to do. No irritating ads or asking to be reviewed, simple to use, and beautiful interface and general aesthetic. I am so glad I found this app. Makes my life so much easier. Thank you.
Best health app 5/5
If it wasn’t for this app I would forget to take my medicine 75% of the time. It also helps cause I always forget what time I exactly took ibuprofen so this way I never take to many before I need to.
I actually take my pills! 4/5
App does a great job of reminding me and motivating me to take my pills- something I'm very, very bad about. I wish it could send notifications to my fit bit, but I just set-up alarms separately in the fit bit app.
Everything is great except for the account feature. 4/5
The purpose of the app is a reminder for when to take mycmedication. It's straight-forward & simple to use. Notifications are easy to hear and to access from the app or the lock screen. I just recently bought a Apple Watch 2 and extend my usage by getting the reminders there instead of on my phone.
The only issue I've had so far is either creating an account and/or logging into one that I thought was already created. It always states something about my issue has been forwarded to the tech support dept but never here back.
The notifications are great helps me every day
Great app for someone as forgetful as me and its free.
Great app! 5/5
I've recently had to start taking medicine every other day. As someone who has never been on long-term meds, I was having trouble remembering. This app was very simple to set up. I haven't missed a dose since I started using it.
Amazing app, life changer. 5/5
This app is great. I take a bunch of meds multiple times a day, the reminder notifications are great, interface is great, sync is smooth when you create an account. Multiple reminders are available for each medication you take. Most medications auto populate based on a database.
Very happy with the app.
Exactly what you need... with a watch app too! 5/5
By Ado Annie
This is the app you should download!
This app has made me the punctual pill taker I never thought I could be. Great motivation mechanism, aesthetically pleasing, and wonderfully ad free.
Takes the guesswork away. 5/5
By WeHo Shopper
I'm so glad I found this app. It's becoming an important part of my daily routine. Great work.
Love the app! but... 4/5
I absolutely love every feature on this app! I like how it automatically time stamps the moment you say you took your medicine, but I would love to suggest another possible feature. For any meds that are taken as needed, there should be an option where you can set the maximum dosages for each medicine so that you are not exceeding within a 24-hour time period, as well as sending you a notification if you are close to going over. I recently was out of surgery as well as two weeks in the hospital and I was prescribed to take Tylenol as to aid my post-surgical pain. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going over, so I started making a separate chart in my notes to record how much I was taking within 24 hours.
Just a suggestion!
Simple to use 5/5
I like the feature of easily going to view prior days review & the ability to back off meds if you hadn’t taken them. The reminders really do help.
Essential app for me 5/5
I love the Round app and have been using it ever since I started taking a new daily medication. I'd be totally post otherwise and it gives me peace of mind doing to know for sure that I haven't missed a dose.
One improvement that would make this app perfect would be the integration of location based time zone support. I travel often but I still have to take my medication roughly at the same time of day every single day. When I travel, especially when I'm far from home, I can't usually use the app since the alerts are made for my home time zone.
Ideally, the app should set notifications based on a primary date, time and time zone and then when I'm on the road the app should know not to base notifications on my time, but my time and which to explore zone I'm in.
Integrating this feature would really make it perfect for me.
Love it! 5/5
Love this app! It's simple, pretty, easy to use! I have two suggestions though:
1) 3D touch. I'd love to be able to press on the app and mark that I've taken a med without actually having to open the app.
2) If I was late taking a dose and let's say I need to move all my times forward an hour for the day - I wish there was an easier way to do that. (HabiTimer has this function)
But overall, really great app!
Love this app. Not compatible with iPhone X 3/5
I love this app! It has definitely helped me in taking my medications on time. I upgraded to the iPhone X from the iPhone 6s+ and it no longer works! I’m so sad. It keeps exiting out every time I try to login. Now I need to switch to a different app.
Nice simple way to remember medication
Notifications sounds?? 3/5
The app is very good the only two complaints I would say is you can’t change the notification sound, seems like and easy fix but round won’t give people an option. That sound is too low for me. The other is setting the time, it has to be in multiples of 5, (ex 8:55a,9:00a or 9:05a) if you wanted say 8:57a you can’t do that. A small imperfection but a feature that can easily be changed , not a big deal but other than those problems it’s great
Fantastic and free 4/5
The only thing I really dislike is not being able to choose when you took a medication when you’re adding it. Take on Thursday, add it to Round on Friday, app thinks you took it on Friday.
Please allow us more control of alerts 3/5
It’s the %}^}^* sound. Ugh. It’s super high pitched and it’s 5 seconds long. If you listen to music or podcast you will end up hating this app.
No Support 1/5
I made changes to the settings, but it did not reflect the updates. So I signed out & attempted to sign in, but it Crashed. I deleted the app & readied it, still no change: Crash.
The "app support" option (when viewing it in the app store) redirects to a Blank Website.
The developer website is "Info only".
I've gone to Twitter & sent 3 tweets: NO Response.
There's no other alternative, such as a website profile, for instances of the broken app.
I'm now taking notes of when I take medication.
Great app - just missing 2 things! 4/5
1) Please Add A Note Section! - It would make things much easier/organized if I could add notes to describe med instructions, the use for taking, length of time needing to take it, list any side effects, the Doctor that prescribed it and so on. The app is good but adding a note section would make it great!
2) Auto medication import with camera - please allow the capability to use the camera to take a picture and automatically import the name of medication, dosage, instructions, pharmacy rx info, etc.
Other apps can so why can’t you! Keep up with the updates.
Can’t live without this app! 5/5
I just want to say that I really enjoy this app!!!!! I’m terrible at remembering to take my medication every day but this app has gotten me in the habit of taking them every day and even around the same time (which I’m supposed to do but often don’t). I had an iPhone a year ago with this app on it and had to switch to an android which was depressing because I wanted this app back! I’m so glad I was able to get a new iPhone recently because this was the first app I downloaded!!! I love how simple and easy this app is designed. I haven’t found an app better than this one!!!
Simple, Easy to use, but missing features 4/5
I have been using this app for a while. It is easy to set up and use, looks clean and simple which I love, but it’s missing some important features. There needs to be an option for start/stop dates. Antibiotics, titration orders, etc.
Other apps get a little more involved, showing you drug interactions, but that is for your pharmacist to worry about- I don’t need it in an app. This app would definitely be 5 stars with the start/stop date options- but for now I’m switching to another app since I have several medications being titrated and/or stopped on a specific day while dealing with infertility.
Not as good as I thought... 2/5
It’s free and looks nice but free and pretty don’t always mean much.
I got the app and used it for two days before I got tired of its “quirks”. The method for storing Meds and having to go in/out to see a reminder is SO cumbersome and not very intuitive. Having a “wheel” like I’m playing with an old iPod is really silly. It’s difficult to set precise times and you have to click/save, click/save, so much just to take a multi dose med that it’s exasperating!
Why not make ONE entry and then allow you to set intervals for your Meds. What’s the point of all these “windows” of time?
I also dislike, greatly, that if I made an entry and tried to add another reminder that crossing reminder times would set my previous entries to other times.
I’ve finally just purchased a reminder app because it’s simple and intuitive. I’d rather pay for something that works easily than deal with stuff that doesn’t work well, even if “free”.
Great app 5/5
Help keep my meds on schedule. Wonderful app. ❗️Thank You❗️
Absolutely Fantastic exactly what I was looking for 5/5
This app is exactly what I was looking for… It works exactly as I had hoped it would. I like the alarm that goes off… It's pleasant and loud and gets my attention in the middle of my busy day. I have medications I have to take daily summer in the morning, some are in the evening, some are only weekly... it was beginning to drive me crazy and I was afraid that I had missed pills. This is much better than those pillboxes… Because I have dropped those and had pills flower over the place… Which leaves you with no information. I'm also tired of dumping out bottles and counting pills to work backwards to try to remember if I took my medication or not. I highly recommend this. They've done a great job here. Plus the app is beautiful as well which is an added plus for me. It makes me want to use it more.
App crash 1/5
The app constantly crashes after I take my morning pill. Right after I note that I take my medication, it asks me to rate the app in the App Store, and then it crashes.
Very helpful 5/5
I often forget whether or not I took a pill or not today. Not anymore with the help of this app. :)
Can't update times in bulk. 2/5
Two of the medications I am on after surgery are pain medications. If I sleep an hour or two past the dosage due time, I would like to move the rest of the dosages out (1 is every 3 hours, the other is every 6, so I may need to move one and not the other). I don't want to take them "just because" if there is no any indication of unmanageable pain, since one of the side effects of one drug could potentially affect my surgical site (and the doctor would rather not have me downing them if I'm managing). It's ridiculous that this basic function is absent from this app. These really aren't "as needed" drugs, either, at this point after surgery, so these two absolutes are useless.
One more thing to be a 5 Star 4/5
I like this App a lot. I’m a “checker offer” and it’s nice to know that I took all my multivitamins daily. The only thing I wish was that there was a barcode scanner of sorts for stuff like multivitamins/supplements that would track the ingredients in the pills and then filter that info into the Health App. I’m obsessed with the Apple Health App and any/all things that can flow there. Other than that I love ROUND. I have recommended this App to others. Keep up the good work.
Not bad but still a little clunky. 4/5
By Dorian I
By clunky I mean the gui. The layout is a little off, with the daily in the middle and Preferences off to the left and medications to the right. I’d rather have Preferences in the upper right or left, with medications in there. But that’s me, hence 4/5 ⭐️s.
Simple and intuitive 5/5
My need for a medication minder is light but I do need one and Round works very well. Just today I wondered if I could customize the reminders and sure enough, a couple of taps and now I’m even happier with how it works.
