Never shows open delivery windows. Shouldn’t be called “Delivery&Pickup” if delivery isn’t provided — seems like false advertising.
I enjoyed it until they quit delivering! I haven’t been able to get delivery since the beginning of March 4th.

We made an order last time and the order was canceled which made us miss any other options for delivery with other stores as the delivery/pick up times are very limited. So will update my review but if our next order is also canceled last minute I will delete the app

I have a pick up order at my Carrs/Safeway in Alaska today and saw there was an app update so I updated and now I can’t get into my app. It keeps asking me for my zip code and then telling me I’m using the wrong app and to click to download a non-existing Carrs shopping pick up app.
Please get the old version back to download so I can follow my order. Thank you

Downloaded this app and signed in. Then it tells me service is not available in my area. Why? I can’t get delivery or even order so I can just do pick up. I’ll just do Walmart pick up.

None of the buttons like create account, or add are tap panel. I can search for groceries and items but those buttons just do nothing at all when tapped.

Where this is a time of crisis, I’m happy to see this as an option to keep safe. This is my first order so the discount incentive was awesome. Where I haven’t gotten my order yet, the mobile process was very simple to place my order. I did have a question and the representative was very helpful. I’m sure it will be a very pleasant experience

Difficult to change things suddenly, I’ve used this app before and have no problems but this time it was not as easy. Ended up with pick up rather than delivered which is what I wanted, says you can easily change that at check out, but that is NOT Correct! Disappointed

Been trying for over an hour to setup the app for the pickup of groceries. For some stupid reason it needs your address for delivery, even when we don’t want delivery. We are in a less then one year old new development and it can’t find the address. No matter what we do, even using a friends address, it won’t register to sign in on the app. No way for us to order groceries for pickup and I am a in a immune compromised situation and unable to go into the store.

The guy who delivered was friendly, kept his distance etc etc but about a third of the items I ordered were not delivered, including potatoes ( which surprised me). I am waiting for the bill to be changed accordingly.

App is buggy and confusing at some places.. you can’t flip the delivery method.
Once the order is placed, then comes the funny part:
- several items are missed from the delivery (they may lame on Covid-19 but many similar stores like Whole Foods/Target/Walmart are delivering)
- items are billed but they will be missing
- bags are charged (competitors wont do this)
- you are charged for both processing fee + delivery fee and this can go up to $9.
All in all, pathetic and incompetent when compared to competitors. Order elsewhere like Prime Now/Amazon/Walmart/Target.

1. Selection is oddly limited. Ex: Dave’s Killer Breads...cinnamon, bagels and organic seed...that’s it. The store carries many more of the line than that. But not available here.
2. Must have a minimum order of $35. Not hard to do for a big list, but if you need a few items for tonight’s dinner? HAH! And speaking of tonight’s dinner....
3. Right now there are no pick-up times available for days. I stopped trying after 10 days.
4. Prices higher than In the store. Ok, I accept that as a cost of the service, but......
5. Add on a $4.95 service charge as well. Think I’ll just order a pizza.

Can edit cancelled orders 3/5
If an order is cancelled before the pick up date, it can be edited and will function as of it is just fine. Even confirmation emails are received. But upon arriving at the store, they inform you the order was cancelled.
This needs to be fixed. Once and order is cancelled it should be locked with the option to duplicate it as a new order.
Never any available times 1/5
Honestly the app itself works fine, but the execution of delivery is severely lacking. I am sure this is due to the virus right now but as a family we have to be in isolation because my son is at high risk for serious complications from this virus. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to even buy from Safeway until this is over because there are never any available spots for delivery. We can’t go into the physical store right now because we have to self isolate. The first delivery I actually had been able to make was about a week ago, and someone called me to say it was canceled and I would have to reorder. Well, I couldn’t do that because there weren’t any times for delivery available. No matter what time of day I tried, there was never an available time at all. I don’t know if that’s a glitch in the app or they just don’t have enough delivery drivers in our area but it’s extremely frustrating.

Don’t bother you can’t check out. In delivery or pick up I always says all times are reserved. I even waited until midnight and tried then, it did indeed give me another day but at 12:00
And a few seconds they were all reserved. A waste of time until they get there act together.

My Clorox bathroom spray was substituted with CLR a mold remover which does not have Clorox in it.
I ordered 5 items which all showed “in stock.”
When order arrived only 2 items were delivered.
Both items were billed almost a dollar vs off the shelf. Plus there were two delivery fees of $3.95.
One a .com service fee the second a delivery fee.
Horrible service & horrible experience & no one answers the phone.

The app works great! Waiting for my first order to arrive on Monday.
Suggestion: in addition to special shopping hours for seniors, you could also use the early morning hours for priority picking & shipping to seniors so they can stay home and shelter in place...rather than ever come into the store. You would need to have a place on the app for age, that seniors could verify by scanning their driver’s license.

Delivery is great but the site should know as you order whether or not the item is in stock. Several times I have ordered items that were not unusual at all to find out at delivery they were unavailable. This has been over the last couple years, before all this pandemic shopping.
