I absolutely love the Sam’s scan and go feature! It saves me so much time by not having to wait in line at the checkout or having to take all the items out of my cart to do self check out. It is sheer genius!

Every time I try to load the app my cart has an error code (201). I can’t delete anything or check out.
Last week I did a online order checked in and when I got there I waited 20 minutes to get to the counter really I could have gotten it myself faster hope this one doesn’t take that long my time is money and if so well they need to stop it

Just used the Scan and Go for the first time. Downloaded the app while we were eating our hotdogs, put in my payment info. Scanned my items, bypassed the checkout lines, and waltzed out the door. Wonderful!

The Jewerly counter is in a horrible shape and after 29 minutes of waiting my husband and I left.
We miss and Tammy.
She knows her jewerly and always knew how low her stock was.
When she talks to us and would remember us and called us by name. Also she would say I only have 3 more of the strand of pearls in stock...of course I would buy more because she makes it personable..
I’m so upset now empty the jewerly counter looks and no one knows anything about it.
BRING TAMMY BACK AND HAVE HER BACK AGAIN IN CHARGE OF THE JEWERLY SHOP WOYH EHR AMAZING PERSONALITY AND HER KNOWLEDGE FROM GREAT DIAMOND QUALITIES TO MENS WATCHES..

Using the app has no place to print a receipt of what was purchased. I am buying for a business and need to print a paper receipt. Also, you used to send an email confirmation after an order was placed. I am not receiving that now, and in error placed an order twice, because it showed the order as “processing” and I had not received a confirmation. I was afraid it was stuck in a cart or something. These seem to be bugs with new upgrade of the app.

I personally don’t like dealing with long lines or talking to people. It makes me nervous and it’s stressful after a long day of work. The app helps me bypass everybody by ordering online and picking up and scanning in the store and walking out.

I tried applying for membership since Groupon had a promo. it was my first time. They said free take n bake pizza, chicken and fruit tray and on the app it said it will expire on September. And surprised just August the promo is no longer available. I tried contacting support but Luis had no help at all.... just unfair and inaccurate info

My review is based on the online order pick up. I know there are associates that are shopping for the customer. However the associates need to be educated on where the products that the customer is asking for is located with in the store. I did an online order and they told me that Glenda’s cashews were not available. However I just went into the same store myself and I found where the cashews in the same spot. They are located in a weird spot. Which is where the baking goods are located spices etc. and not where the rest of the nuts are located within the store. But the associate still needs to be educated on where to locate the items with in the store.
First shopping app I’ve ever used 5/5
I’ve never used any shopping apps before, but this one is great!! Not only can you see how much you’re spending as you shop ( for all of us budgeters), but the best thing is no standing in the checkout line!! Shop and scan, pay on your phone, then just show your “ pay screen” on your phone to the receipt checker at the door.

The only way to shop at Sam's Club 5/5
This is probably one of Sam's Club's best features. This app let's you scan and pay directly from the app making check out a breeze. Retains the receipt so no need to worry about losing your receipt. Super simple and too easy to use. Very user friendly and this is a feature unavailable to Costco making this another reason to shop at Sam's.

Scan and go usually works but today it would only scan 2 items before going into an endless loop searching for a product. Had to reset multiple times to scan 2 items. Need to fix the app.

This Sam’s has been helped with our opinion w the app . The manager and employees at this store are not helpful and the woman at the front is slow and rude . There is a black woman who is in occasionally at the front who is kinder and has a sunny disposition - the woman today had a line backer up to the check out stand and wasn’t in a hurry - WE WERE!!

I am a severe germ phobia, so this Was a game changer for me. I can scan the items in my car and never put them on the conveyor belt we are thousands of germs live and breathe. Once you complete your check out you are giving a scan code that they scan at the door upon exiting. No waiting in lines ever! This app is life !!’

“Scan & Go” Held Up My Debit Card Funds for a Week 1/5
I used the Sam’s Club app to join for $45. I then went to my local Sam’s Club to purchase a Samsung TV. I noticed the “Scan & Go” feature on the app & decided to use it. I scanned the barcode & checked out on the app. An error message popped up telling me purchase failed — See a cashier. Soon afterwards a PayPal notification popped up saying my PayPal Cash Card had been charged $356.85. I immediately checked my PayPal app & sure enough, an authorization for $356.85 was pending from Sam’s Club. I checked the Sam’s Club app for recent orders and nothing showed up except my $45 club membership fee.
I asked a manager to help with the problem but they took my information and said they couldn’t find a purchase for a TV associated with my membership number. I showed him my PayPal app that plainly showed the pending authorization. He said he couldn’t help me because “…we don’t have anything to do with the (Sam’s Club) app”. He said I couldn’t leave with the TV without a receipt showing I paid for it. He also said he couldn’t refund me my $356.85 because as far as he was concerned, I hadn’t purchased and paid for it.
I called Sam’s Club customer service and was told there was a receipt for the TV stating $329 -$329 = $0.00. He said he didn’t see any authorization for $356.85. He did however assure me the authorization would “drop off” in a few days — maybe a week. He reported the situation to tech department.
He was correct. 5 business days later the authorization disappeared; but that was five days without access to my $356.85 or a TV!
DO NOT USE “Scan & Go” feature on the Sam’s Club app!

Price on web-site for Black and Mild Original with Wood tips was $16.87.
Spoke with Kevin at the Holland Mich. Sam’s Club and he said it was the incorrect price @ $16.87.
He would call the dept. who sets up the website to make the change, but would also see if Sam’s Club would honor the $16.87 for two, 25 count packages and call me with the results. He told me he’d be calling after 1:00 on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019.
Kevin has never called yet.
In checking the website today, the ‘plastic tip’ Black and Mild Original cigars show the price $16.87/25 ctn. I order 3 pks. and was notified my order was changed to only 1 ctn.
I don’t know why.
I placed an order for one, 25 count
box of cigars for $ 16.87 for pick-up and clicked ‘place order’ and continued to checkout.
As I followed the steps, the $16.87 box of cigars were now $17.07 plus tax.
$16.87 changed to $17.07 !
When I was physically in the store trying to buy the wooden tip cigars at the website price of $16.87, I was told the $24.42 price in the store was because of the tax. Seriously?
The website is poor. The customer service follow-up is awful.
Dissatisfied with Sam’s Club in Holland, Michigan.
