    This is literally the worst app I have on my phone. I would give it negative stars if possible. I don’t understand how Samsung can put out such trash. Makes me never want to buy another Samsung TV, just so I don’t have to deal with this

    A remote control app is generally used to replace the remote. However, this app only stands as a second remote when someone else has the original hardware and is actively controlling it. I didn’t understand the comments about the power button (candidly did not read all of them), but now I do. The app will not work if the TV is off and there is nothing one can do with the app to turn on the TV. Why Samsung would create such an inferior app is really embarrassing. I’ll be deleting it and will have to deal with the lousy hardware remote with a tiny power button that works less than half of the time.

    Have to try connecting to the tv multiple times. When it does connect the app response is extremely slow and inconsistent. Makes me never want to buy a Samsung tv again.

    Will not connect to brand new 7 Series TV. All hardware is very recent and software is updated. No wonder this app only has 2 stars with over 1K reviews.

    Got a 4K NU6900 series. This app doesn't see it. Samsung's "support" site doesn't have anything about compatibility - I had to search the net. "Smart Things" app might work but requires a Samsung acct that stays connected. Whole lotta privacy nope on that.

    It’s sad when 3rd party developers build a more reliable app for the Samsung smart tv, than Samsung themselves. It never wants to connect to the tv despite the phone and tv being on the same network. Ridiculous.

    Not sure why all of a sudden this is not reading any photos other than the ones I took yesterday? No prior photos are accessible. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled; shutdown and restarted. This was a great app- not so good now.

    I had connected previously with no issues. I am unable to connect now. Running iOS 12.4.1 on my iPhone 7 Plus. TV is a Samsung Series 6 (55). I removed my phone from connected devices on the TV to try and reinstall the connection. No luck. It keeps telling me to get on the same network, which it is. What happened?

    Honestly I really wanted this to work for me on my iPad as its awesome on my s9+. As it is this app doesn’t even see my Samsung tv on my network... To be honest if I could give this app zero stars I would as it does nothing for me at all.

    This app is honestly ridiculous compared to third party apps. I’d love to be able to easily link up with my tv using the same WiFi but it never locates it. It’s aggravating. It’ll be much easier to type in titles I want to search or navigate through channels with my phone. I just hope and wish they fix this app to accommodate better with iOS.

    Not only does the app not connect to the tv, but it also lists TV’s not connected to my internet. It must work for somebody though because I randomly get asked if I want to allow someone else’s mobile device to control my TV, and it’s nobody connected to my network.

    I’ve had this TV and this app for well over a year. It has worked about 1 out of every 30+ attempts. Samsung obviously has NO desire to correct this to a fully functional app. I look for another brand because even then”Frame” TV has continuing issues. Do NOT recommend :(

    When I first downloaded the app it worked well. Now that it’s upgraded, it no longer works at all. Doesn’t recognize that I have a Samsung UN60KU6270FXZA smart television. The remote that at one time worked mirrored the actual remote. Wish they’d fix it as it diminishes the smart tv experience as I don’t have a keyboard for this tv as this app worked so well at one point.

    And it should work. However, while the screens match, the keyboard does not, nor does it connect with the TV. I am using the iPad keyboard for this note. Therefore, in order to browse web, type in everything on the TV screen board, clumsy as it is, it works. Please, developers, get the iPad keyboard to work with TV!! Don’t waste your time until it is fixed.

    The reason that makes me want to screen mirror my iphone is to enjoy the high quality videos on a bigger screen .. but the connection is so poor .. and it pauses every second and it cant be loaded properly .

    The app connects to the tv in the other room that I’ve had for a couple of years now without even setting it up. With my brand new tv, sometimes it sees it but rarely. And when it does see it, it never connects to it. I deleted it. Pointless.
