Normal Japanese learning apps will teach you useless things and make you pay for the important things I’m not sure if this is like that that’s why I only did 3 stars
THE BEST 5/5

Great app! Good for your brain to learn a new language and this is a great fun way!
Fun and yet strict 5/5
Can’t draw out of the lines - strict insistence that the characters are drawn correctly. Excellent.

Really great for Japanese because it teaches you how to make the symbol for the letter and makes you do it multiple times for practice
Learning Chinese 5/5
Pretty fun learning new language
Frankly, the Chinese pronunciation isn’t even close to correct 3/5
Seems like a good app, however the Chinese pronunciation (even in the intro video of app) is not correct.

I was glad to hear that I can share the account on drops

Really enjoy this method of learning characters!
Good job 4/5
This is so cool, the background pictures really help understand each character of the Chinese hanzi! Oh and the have the ASL alphabet, it would be even better if they had asl words, maybe add video content?
Lovely daily companion 5/5
This is a good refresher and expander! Scripts helps me recall Mandarin studies and expands my experience into basic Asian languages.
Easy to learn
Best bi lingual teacher I’ve had !!!
Keep up the good work !!
Best way of fast learning by repetition 5/5
Thanks for this app is fantastic the way it’s design. Great jobs!
Fun way to learn 5/5
The easy lessons featuring listening, writing aided and free writing, made the learning fun!

Only kana and hiragana. Why!
If you’re going to have Chinese characters anyway, why not offer the pronunciation in Japanese as well! Let me learn the characters for Japanese! 😡
Good app, some minor faults 3/5
This is a good app for learning Chinese characters and other languages’ scripts.
However, some of the characters are written more like a computer font and less like a human, and it’s sometimes hard to write what you know is right, but you can’t because the app thinks you’re wrong. However, the app is very friendly and has a great user interface. This is why I gave it a 4-star rating.
As always, make sure you have someone who knows the language to check your writing and grammar because if you’re learning it for the first time, you can get something wrong.
Cool so far 5/5
First Session 4/5
I think I approached this alphabet with a typical American attitude, and I am embarrassed. I did fine on the first 2, but foolishly expected it to follow the order of my English alphabet. Just the sort of thing I dislike about my countrymen. I’m hooked and determined!
Like learning the ASL alphabet, looking forward to other ASL signs!
Easy and fun 4/5
See it, hear it, write it, learn it! Great app!
Download This App! 5/5
Being someone who has struggled to learn languages, from Japanese to ASL, This app has helped me so much! I’m currently using it to learn ASL.
It’s so much fun you almost forget you’re learning and not playing a game. You can learn so much in five minutes.
I do wish they’d allow more than Five minutes for those who can’t pay the monthly fee but I understand an amazing app like this needs money.
I really recommend this to everyone trying to learn a new language.
I believe it’s better than other apps like Duolingo, this is much more interactive and interesting.
Add practice Korean words?
Love it so far! 5/5
I have been studying Hebrew on Drops and the set up is absolutely brilliant! They have found a way to make learning fun and easy. Just did my first ASL lesson and it was very similar to the other platform. Love it! Thanks Drops!
the best for learning 5/5
love learning chinese through this app. very helpful as characters are difficult and it’s assisted my learning a lot
It’s fun. 5/5
If I can have fun while learning something, then I’ll most likely come back to it and this was fun.
Love tgis app 5/5
Love it. 5 minutes a day is perfect.
Great idea 5/5
Very strict 2/5
I’ve done one session so far and the app is super strict telling me my hanzi is always wrong. After I get it wrong four times or so it just moves on to the next character. I’m doing stupid simple hanzi to start like 人 and 口.
Bien interesante 5/5
Resulta divertido y aunque estoy apenas comenzando y con poco contexto, la modalidad del método invita a utilizar la aplicación. Bien interesante
Fun and easy way to learn but 1st lesson 5/5
My 1st lesson was fun and it seems like a good way to learn a new language
So far so good 5/5

Began as a great intro to Chinese characters and ended as a fun game.
Great for learning, a few errors to fix 3/5
This app is so helpful for learning Chinese radicals for me. I want to give the app a five star, but there are some changes that would need to happen to get there.
- They should have some way to manually move on to practice a different word. So often the app cycles through and repeats the same words and leaves out a few, or keeps going back to ones that you thoroughly know rather than the ones you struggle with. Another thing that would be nice in Scripts is an option like the Dojo in regular drops that could quiz you on all characters you’ve learned so far.
Problems to fix:
- With the Mandarin radicals, there have been a few discrepancies between Scripts and Regular drops. For example, “zhou” (boat) is written as having a straight down line at the bottom, but Drops and other websites have it written as a diagonal slash. - On another note (and perhaps I am not able to hear it well enough) there are times when the pronunciation that is heard seems to differ from what is written as the pronunciation, which is very confusing and difficult to memorize. For example, xué (cave) is said like xuè. Gán (shield) sounds like gān. Gên (blunt, flip the ^ upside down) sounds like gèn. There are others like this as well. When I hear the tones of radicals, they match with the tonal indications. Then there are outliers that clearly sound like mismatching tones to me.
If they could fix these things and add the manual skip, I’d give it a total 5 star. I’d give it 6 if it was possible if they added the dojo.
So far so good!
One of my favorites 5/5

I love Drops and so when I heard they had an app that focused on handwriting I had to try it. Simple, easy to use, fun to learn. Always a 5. Great for extra practice or to start a new language.
