Way too bad 1/5
By Christopher Mori
It doesn’t let us on meetings, and then messages are too hard to send. I wish I can make the App Store forget about this app. There’s no way I’m using it again.
No school 1/5
I don’t want to do school work
Hate this app and website 1/5
The only thing I like about this app and website is that I can see my daughter's work. Customer support is horrible. I can’t change my daughter log in information so every time she gets logged out I have to message the teacher for a new code. With internet being spotty she is getting logged out a lot. She is now behind in her school work because I have to keep getting new codes and waiting for the support team to decide to help me. As far as my daughter doing her work the tools end up covering the bottom portion of her work so she can’t see it without constantly hiding the tools. The class work is just everywhere. I absolutely hate this app/website and will be glad when she switches over to google classroom next year.
Not to bad 🤔 3/5
Can’t change my own thing that I’ve put on it.😠😐
This is awesome 5/5

It is dumb I do not want to do work 1/5
It is not a good idea it is dumb
Does not auto save the student’s work 1/5
Whether on the app or on a webbrowser, work does not get saved in the background. Teaching kids that they need to hit Draft early and often is not something that should be necessary with most software that auto saves these days. I cannot begin to tell you the frustration, tears this has caused when my kid found out a chunk of work was lost. For this reason alone, I give this app an F.

This helps a lot!
Seesaw has many facets and I’m having fun exploring ways to use these with students!
It used to be a decent app. But since the last update, I don’t get any notifications and have missed my sons zoom meetings because I didn’t see the message.
Great when it doesn’t crash 3/5
By Sorry to see it go, not sorry
Keeps crashing when I open the app. Not the time for this to be happening when you are doing distance learning and this is the app the teacher uses 🤦🏼♀️
Ok but could be better 4/5
By Angelisa hawes
Great have a love it by the way except the fact is every time someone post something or they do understand it just comes up and I do you want me and it leaves like a little mark so you have to click on it and get rid of it but I also don’t like when you have a real app because they usually use it what happens is that when you leave it for like five minutes and you come back on to arm the page or doing it just goes away everything you’ve been working on for the past few hours or minutes there 30 minutes just goes away to start all over so I wish I could do something about that.
This is terrible 1/5

I downloaded the app because my kids think it is fun and they want to draw and create mini movies. Their teacher gave us a QR code to scan at home. When I first opened the app it told me scan a QR code my teacher has gave us. I scanned it but it said it was a class code. Then what code is it suppose to be? Teachers are suppose to give you codes to use at home? This is so confusing. That’s all I got through. Please answer because my kids really want to use this app.
Glitch and bad 1/5
By ok than karen
It’s glitching and I’m trying to log in but it won’t let me and I even copied and past nothing
Notifications do not work 3/5
By Cleveland Rocks55555
My complaint is regarding notifications. My notifications are set for alerts, banners, and badges. I don’t get any of them. I only see the badge when I open the app and see how many new messages there are. The app icon does not show the badge, nor do banners or alerts come up on the screen. Other parents and teachers have said the same thing.
not bad 5/5
I got to send messages to my teacher and it’s really cool.I love texting to my teacher because of covid-19.Seesaw is amazing and helped me remember we can deep in touch without touching.Me Bella loves Seesaw and you should to.I am only nine and I wrote this whole thing.
Give teachers stickers 5/5
Seesaw has been pretty easy to navigate. I like that is connected to GSuite and I have a Microsoft Surface that makes it easy to navigate. I have a kindergartner and he likes that activities his teacher have both created and uploaded from the shared lessons. The microphone is also of good recording quality.
Things I wish this product would offer:
1) I have to use my own snipping tool to re-post responses, it would be great if this was integrated. To be able to pull the original document that was posted and be able to write on it.
2) Why does this tool not use stickers ? Elementary teachers always use stamps and stickers when they respond to school work. Thta would be awesome.
There is an error loading. Has been issue all morning & need to do kids distance learning communicating with the teachers
By let's go ZOOM!!!!!!
Nice for home school. Especially with the COVID-19!
I love the app 5/5
I love the app at can help kids during Coronavirus
By do challenges
All teachers stop posting activities and assignments they are trash and garbage
Best ever 5/5
Seesaw is the best thing I have ever come across as a teacher! It is a safe site, user friendly to adults and children. I am not tech savvy at all and I feel successful using this digital portfolio to keep in touch with my students’s families, assign work to my students, keep track of their learning and so much more! Thank you Seesaw!
Activities can’t be found 2/5
For such a simple app, the functionality is poor. The kindergarten teacher tells us to retrieve schoolwork from the activities folder; I can’t find one from my iPhone, the brand new iPad, or my laptop.
The second grade teacher asked that I add her class to the Seesaw account; that can’t be done without the paper that can’t currently be provided. The code provided only works for entirely new accounts, not for adding a second child to the family account. I appreciate the opportunity for teachers to send pictures and communicate easily if it’s easy for them, but as a parent, the program is a dysfunctional headache.
Good app, request a couple features. 5/5
I really like this program for what it’s created for, but I wish seesaw would allow for a calender, so future class events could be viewed in one spot. Maybe because of covid and the need for homeschooling and trying to organize everything I really feel this is needed now. Zoom meetings, other events, would just be nice to go to one place to find this information, rather than looking through the messages sections for an update or uploaded pdf, or emails, or google docs.
This is the worst app DO not download it!! I HATE it!!!
Deleting Messages 4/5
I wish that I could delete messages when I’m done with them, for cleanliness of the feed... Is there a way to do this that I’m just missing?
Mental Map is like spaghetti for this app 1/5
Yikes...student login, family, random tabs, sloppy cards...this is so horribly scrambled and the only thing that saves the experience from being a total disaster is that it is a such a great example of how not to serve families. The on boarding process should be reviewed. Also read DOET!
Seesaw is user friendly 5/5
By Zaina - Bruner
I like seesaw, it helps me learn. I am very happy that it exists.

Great interface. But doesn’t run as smoothly as it should 2/5
It’s doesn’t even let me sign on my phone, what the heck. So we’re stuck doing assignments on a PC. Which is fine but being able to work via phone is better. We sign in but get a message saying the teacher has to approve our sign in? We contacted the teacher she said that she hasn’t gotten get any notifications on her end about that :/
Half baked. 1/5
Not sure why school district selected this half baked product. Two parents cannot have separate accounts for the same child. Cannot even add more than one email. Cannot even add more than one phone number. So basically, all notifications can only go to one parent’s email address and phone number. Despite paying so much taxes, this is the app they selected for us!
Confusing and low end 1/5
We have been trying to get all this to work. It is extremely confusing. The teachers are also quite confused.
Can’t they just make this easy to use?
Could be great but 2 major issues 3/5
Teacher sent me a 12 digit code to add second child. App only allows QR code with no option for entering the 12 digit code.
Also- it’s very clumsy to toggle between students.
App doesn’t work 1/5
Have an account on the computer but can’t use the iPad app for some reason. After logging in it says no child is associated with this account. Makes no sense! Also, this platform doesn’t work on Mac Safari at all, and is very buggy on Chrome and Firefox. Avoid if you can!
Great app for school 5/5
This is definitely a great app. I am a student and use it at school.
Since of the Coronavirus this school year my teacher said that we can use this app at home and post stuff. But this really is a great app for school.
Won’t let me sign up 1/5
I’m a student and my teacher uses this for projects. However I’m not able to even sign up. Every time I sign in it just says I need to add a child. Is there supposed to be a student option?
Unorganized, the social feed of educational resources 1/5
As a student this is organized when a child works in their own account. However, as a parent resource, this app is incredibly frustrating and unorganized if you have more than one child. The posts are added by your children’s teacher and isn’t sorted by student. This makes everything a constant mixed social feed and makes you spend more time trying to find resources and feeds, vs. actually pulling up the per child activities.
Significant improvements could be made in this app for parent use.

Unworkable, bugs cause my kid to fall behind 1/5
This is. User experience nightmare. Unread message and notification icons don’t reset or change numbers when you read messages. Neither us or the kid can respond to or like posts that other student can due to a mystery bug so the kid can’t participate in the projects. Her only options are to generate a QR code which my 7 year old needs ...why??? Videos say “object not found” or “this video isn’t ready to play”. Messages appear on a different feed than notifications -why not just give them different icon or color? Getting to messages I have to click class announcements to even see them (why are we reinventing the concept of inbox?). Worst, for the life of me, I can’t understand why I need a class app AND a family app with the same username/password that show some of the same posts but responding to the feed of one doesn’t show up in the other. Don’t even get me started on the discombobulated registration/approval process. It’s also not paperless; every project here I need to send to my printer and this must go through texting myself because this app can’t send anything to print. As a UX/UI designer with 17 years experience -I hope this gets fixed or disappears along with that darn coronavirus.

Great app if the links worked. 2/5
Since we are doing online classes we are using seesaw a lot more. Only bug is the links do not work on iOS devices. They work on PC, Android and Kindle. Had to log into different devices to get assignments Aldine today.
I don’t like This app because I don’t remember my passcode and I can’t see it 1/5

I LOVE this app! It’s a great way to keep in touch with my sons teacher!
It’s so bad 1/5
It doesn’t work and it takes forever to load.So do not get it
Seesaw - could it archive? 3/5
By MN Mom 4321
Seesaw works great, but after several years with multiple kids, grades, and teachers, the inbox is clogged with outdated information. I’d love to see a way to prioritize teachers or archive those from past years.
I’m makwa mad 1/5
This is horrible
