  • Too Many Notifications 1/5

    By Disappointed Educator
This app is not as user friendly as other options. The number of notifications is out of hand, consider only sending out a notification if you are getting a message.
  • Stay in touch with families 5/5

    By Jallerblanco
This is an excellent app to stay in touch with parents and make them feel part of their children’s learning process

I usually LOVE this app, and will typically rate it a 5 helps keep my students’ families and I connected throughout the year. Since the latest update, I’m not able to caption my photos as a group and most of my photos are posting blurry. Pls fix!
  • Outstanding app for learning and communicating 5/5

    By JFrazier4
This is a an outstanding app! I use it in my classroom everyday. My students are able to video and take pics and explain their thinking and post it so their family and friends can see it. However, all posts are only approved by the teacher first. It’s just a giant addition to the curriculum. It makes learning fun and you get to see/hear the kids learning.

I love sharing the pictures with parents but I wish we could post more than 10 pictures at one time and that all the pics are saved in one area instead of 10 pictures per post.

  • So close... 3/5

    By Anticube5
Good tool but there are just a few missing toggle features for it to be a great tool. - Parents ability to see activities that still need to be done. - parents able to see the skills view of their own child for grading rubrics - Calendar option for when an assignment is due (maybe that’s when parents see the red number) - MS / HS skin for classes with higher grade levels so it’s not so kiddy looking for them. - Skills header row frozen so you can see what skill you are assessing.
  • Amazing app for the classroom, but... 4/5

    By Derek Smalls On Bass
I love everything about See Saw as a teacher, however they have made a change in that when I try and share a picture from my phone with my student’s parent (via the app), it no longer allows me to add a simple caption below the photo. This is important as I need to be able to give a brief explanation to the parent as to what is occurring. Rather, when I select the photo(s) from my phone’s camera roll to share, the app only lets me select the student’s name/family to share with, but then immediately posts the picture before I am given a chance to add a caption. This never used to happen last school year. Please, developers, make the fix to change it back to allow adding captions from my phone app. Thank you!

    I Love this App... it’s terrific 😊
  • Pretty Nice 4/5

I think this is a great app for school and I would definitely recommend it, the only thing I would change it that I have to sign out of one class to go into another. I think you should be able to have more than one class.
  • Highly recommended! 5/5

    By Adriavalenz
Easy to use, efficient way to communicate with parents and for them to view their child’s work. I also assign work for students. A must use in the classroom!

  • Seesaw in the Special Needs Classroom 5/5

    By Thompson 407
Seesaw has given voice to my students with multiple disabilities! It provides a means for meaningful assessments that support learning for all students with the added benefit of increased home/school connections!
  • Weirdest thing ever! 3/5

    By rainbow unicorn 01995
Seesaw is kind of fun but not really. When I sign in it does not seem to work and I do not understand the whole point of using the seesaw app. And for example: other people that you invite might post something inappropriate at school or at home. Even though it might seem pretty cool, it really isn’t!!!

Excellent resource for my young students. They get very comfortable using see saw and they love it!!!
  • What happened?????? 1/5

    By classroom ross
I like the idea of seesaw. My first year was great. I collected the photos kept track of students work, perfect. The following year I did the same and everything went well. Ended the year with a wonderful collection of pictures and student work. Then something happened over the summer and the entire thing disappeared, except 2-3 photos. We collected iMovie projects, photos of just about everything. All of it gone. I spoke to someone at seesaw and they had no answers. I am. Err sad because it is was the ultimate tool.

    This is amazing
  • Great way to share with families 4/5

    By Cam482473
This app has made it so easy to share photos and videos of student learning and work with families! I discovered on the website (computer-based) that a teacher can put multiple photos in a post. I would LOVE it if that were possible from the mobile app too!! That would make it a 5-star rating from me.
  • Great tool for families & teachers! 5/5

    By CT PreK Teacher
My students families and I have been benefiting from the Seesaw app for 4+ years. For teachers, we can maximize its use as a documentation piece, connect with families and for important reminders. For families, you can get a glimpse of your child’s school day, refer back to the pictures over the year and use it as an additional means of communication with your child’s teacher. I highly recommend Seesaw! P.S. make sure you have parents sign a permission slip prior to posting any photos of any child.
  • Awsome app! 5/5

    By All-nice-nicknames-were-taken
Our students are very much excited in using this app. They are all motivated to finish the activities on time so they can upload and let their parents see their work. As well as the parents, they are all happy to see what their kids are doing in school. I love this app. And I will redommend it to all educators I know! Thank you seesaw ❤️

I homeschool my children and this is a great app to easily track all we do during the day. I’ve even added my mother to their “family” so she can see what we do too! Awesome!
  • Amazing Communication tool! 5/5

    By MVNM08
This is so easy to use for both teachers and students. It has greatly improved my communication with parents. It also allows for immediate student feedback and accountability. The app features are very easy to navigate and my students can upload independently. I have received positive feedback from all of my families and they enjoy the open communication as well as the access to their child’s learning.

  • Love it, just wish uploading wasn’t so slow 4/5

    By K-T-S-B
Amazing, amazing!! Absolutely love this app!! It takes a long time for students to upload their work (despite having high speed internet). If the iPad goes to sleep while processing (yes, it takes that long at times) the app will freeze and child will loose their hard work, so be sure too tell your students to keep it awake and sit with iPad until it’s been uploaded successfully. Overall, wonderful app!
  • So easy to use! 5/5

    By podcastrunnermom
As a teacher I love how easy Seesaw is to use for elementary age kids! It gives us a chance to send multimedia projects home to parents or show them what is going on in our classroom through video and audio recordings.
  • Seesaw is stellar! 5/5

    By ThirdGradeTeach
Seesaw is THE best way to showcase students’ work and keep parents informed on what is going on in the classroom. It is so easy to use and very kid-friendly. Seesaw also takes suggestions from teachers and works hard to make it the best product. Would highly recommend Seesaw to other educators!!

    By iteachk1978
My kindergarten students and their families love this app. The kids LOVE sharing projects they're proud of that they can’t take home. The parents love seeing a glimpse of what their child is doing each day. I love having all my communication in one place. The teacher folders are especially helpful for keeping assessments all together.
  • Seesaw for Gifted 5/5

    By TheGeneral1004
I use Seesaw for my Gifted students every week and my parents love the communication of the student progress. Students have one to one access to Chrome books and I also have a limited amount of iPads for student use as well. Both devices allow easy sharing through the app. Wonderful tool for high ability students to express their skills. Thanks for a wonderful app. Todd S. Elementary Gifted

  • Wonderful reflective tool for documentation 5/5

    By CLake1
As a homeschool parent, I am loving this app. It’s perfect for our child-led Reggio Emilia Inspired Homeschool. I use it to document our learning journey and process. It’s a great tool for pedagogical documentation and reflection. We use it to revisit our ideas as well and dive deeper into concepts and ideas. A visual journal and online keepsake I hope to use for years to come. I appreciate all the features available to document and record learning.
  • I love it 4/5

Great program only draw back is that when I download videos my kids submit to my phone it’s only a picture.
