    It’s taking forever to load. And any activity that you do, like adding an item in the cart or searching for an item, it just hourglasses and takes forever. Sometimes even seeing a pop up that request has timed out!

    I do like this app a lot, but it continually logs me out (even if I select stay logged in) and it’s really annoying. One of the main benefits of using the app is to not have to login all the time.

    Unable to do simple shopping or log in as it keeps giving me an error saying the date, location, time etc is wrong. My time is set up to be 15 minutes ahead of my time zone so I can be on time. Why can a little change to time make an app absolutely unusable? Ulta doesn’t give me this error.

    The app is awful now. It never actually lets me review products I’ve purchased, once i try to submit it it tells me there was an “error.” But also when you look at the reviews for any products, they only show products that have been incentivized. No real reviews, i don’t trust Sephora anymore, do with that information what you will

    I scheduled a make up session at Sephora at King of Prussia Mall. I was a bit hesitant because It was my first time getting their make up service. And let me say it won’t be my last. I live in Delaware but I would definitely take the drive for Moon. Moon was the make up artist that I had the pleasure of meeting. Moon’s customer service was outstanding!!! She was personable and cheerful. Not only is she a beautiful soul but she is so talented. My makeup was flawless and was perfect for the occasion. She has such a great eye. Moon you are amazing thank you so much for making my day day and Sephora is lucky to have you as a part of the team!

    I turned off notifications completely but the app still kept getting the little red dot on it so I have to open it to make it go away. THAT’S STILL A NOTIFICATION. It’s infuriating. It makes me hate Sephora and never want to shop there again.

    I’ve never had an issue with any other merchant app but with this app and even on their website, I keep getting a payment error. Even after using cards three different institutions with updated addresses and speaking to two customer service reps. I read online that this is a common issue with Sephora. Guess I will stick to Ulta!

    App is overall fine but I’m finding that sometimes the offers will land me to an error that states “Sorry, there are no products that match your filter options.” When I’m using a PC, the offer is obviously fine. It just doesn’t work on the app. This is annoying because I haven’t been able to open some VIB exclusive offers unless I’m at home using my laptop. I didn’t really mind before but this is becoming too frequent to ignore. The app should be convenient, not riddled with filtering issues.

    Takes at least twice as long to find a product when you know what you want. Almost impossible to get to the actual website which works fine. Still trying to delete the app, if I can’t I will switch to another vendor. Also no privacy in the app which is why they try to force you to use it. They need to reassess their strategy.

    Your credit card offer is a scam! I am calling them third day a row and can’t reach them. I signed up in a store and the card never arrived to my house. I don’t have an account or credit card number therefor unable to pay. I asked a store representative to make a payment to a card and they couldn’t help me. Calling to a a credit organization that Sephora chosen to work with is impossible. What a disgrace to Sephora to work with a scammy company like that. They drop off calls after 40min wait time. there is nobody to help to locate the account. You are causing a lot more trouble and time waste than the $70 discount i was offered. Shame on you Sephora!!!

    We were at Milpitas Sephora and Kiyanna was so accommodating and asked us right away if she can help us. We were interested in the NARS foundation and concealer and she was spot on the right shade for me. We told her we’re going to see it from the outside light and she was okay with it and when we came back we bought both right away cuz we were so happy with the shade .

    I love Sephora but.. there is a lil sexism here because, the $50 sample kit only has men’s and the female one vanished from the website and store. Please bring it back the girls need perfume too! :(

    I love Sephora - I am a rouge member so I spend a lot of time and $$ in the stores and on their app. Idk why this app has such high ratings - it TERRIBLE. It loads incredibly slow. Like you have to wait 30 second for the app to finally load a new page. The “community” feature constantly throws error messages and freezes the entire app. I’ve been using the app for years and none of this has improved. Invest in your infrastructure more, Sephora - you are a major company so you have no excuse to be this bad at apps.

    I stopped trusting the app after it deleted my credit card reward. When I called customer service they hung up on me, when I called again they said to wait another week to see if it shows up after their IT updates…I waited more than a week and still no resolution! Not reliable at all!

  • Apple Pay/Card Authorization Issues 1/5

    Puzzling. Everything else in this app is very easy to navigate and use, but all that means nothing if I can’t even get a successful transaction through. When I select the Apple Pay option and use either Apple Pay or my Apple Card, the order goes through and then ten minutes later, Sephora decides that they have an issue with it and cancels my order. And then when I look back at the order, the last four numbers listed for my Apple Card are different. Apple Pay is considered Visa for some reason and they list four numbers for that too even though Apple doesn’t assign it a number. Why does that even occur? It’s no wonder that feature fails. Please fix it.

    I consistently get app notifications about items from my wishlist that went on sale, asking me to check it out. However when I do click on it it gives me an error, saying that “they do not currently carry the item selected” Every. Single. Time.

    Can not stand the new chat feature. Keep giving alerts and red notifications. If you ask them to stop messaging you they say, “haha sure let me send you to one of our beauty experts” and you get MORE MESSAGES AND MESSAGE ALERTS ENDLESSLY. Not worth keeping the app anymore. Then they remove your negative reviews so it doesn’t effect their rating, cute. Thanks for the motivation not to spend money with you all anymore.

    I visited the Boca Mauel store, was greeted by a young girl who led me to the lipsticks, asked another sales girl about the shimmer ones which I purchased, asked another sales girl for the mascara which I purchased, asked a sales girl for the eyeshadow which I purchased and at checkout the cashier I believe her name was Emily help me with my phone and taught me how to scan the receipt to leave a survey.I cannot believe how pleasant and helpful all the sales girls were. Next time I will go out of my way to the Boca Sephora even though I live in Boynton Beach. LD of Boynton

    It’s great they tell you when a reviewer received a product for free, but I wish there was an option to filter these out. Of course every person who received the product for free leaves a glowing recommendation for the product. I wish I could filter by people who actually bought it. I don’t care that a company gave a bunch of free products to inflate their ratings.

I contacted in app support thinking they’d be able to tell me something, but of course they said they couldn’t tell me anything and that nothing could be done to cancel, find info, or track my order. Useless app, useless support.

    Very infuriating that I can’t reset my password because your email link bypasses Safari and takes me straight to the app…. which fails to bring me to a password reset screen. I tried to follow the steps again after the 2nd redirect and what do you know, I’m stuck in a loop. Can’t even shop on my account.

    They charged me a fee for cancelling my services. I wanted to cancel and come back but now I am not interested in the store at all. I Understand this for salons, but just for a beauty consultation, I think it’s a bit too much. $20 not even something small such as $5. Why would I waste money in this store again, I will use YouTube instead. Not many are using beauty services because of Covid I did not stop anyone from creating an appointment. I will wait until ulta opens up again, you can cancel and no one penalizes your for it.
