As soon as I log into the app they ask for a code ( I never created a code) so I’m unable to move to the next step.

Tiles good and bad 3/5
Useful to have tiles for collections. Not useful to not be able to migrate tiles from one page to another. Not useful to keep getting error messages when trying to delete tiles

There are SO many features that are needed before this app is actually functional. There needs to be a search for products and collections when adding this to the home grid. More tiles on the home grid. Let me add multiple unique items to the cart from the custom item sale before this. It takes so long to add 1 item and then select custom item again. Let me add multiple from the custom item screen. Generally this needs better search functions. More intuitive payment screen and connect to my CC reader once and don’t make me reconnect it every hour.

Doesn’t even offer a connection option for the Shopify branded swipe and chip reader…in fact it only offers connection to the discontinued audio port and lightning readers that show as discontinued on their support page.
Only documentation doesn’t match the app so I am not without a way to accept CC

Not wonderful, not terrible, just fine. Like when on a hot day, and you are craving some cool fresh water, but you only have half a bottle that rolled out from under the seat of your car. You’re still going to drink it, but there’s no satisfaction involved.
Again; it’s fine. It works (mostly). It keeps you alive. But in no way would it ever be your first choice.
Poor connection, high cost. 1/5
It’s a great app, my biggest problem is the card readers regularly do not connect. Which is very poor customer service for us because we have to manually enter our customers debit cards, which takes time. This slows down our efficiency. The app also takes a fee for manually entering card information. The return policy for defective card readers is no returns. Overall, the cost for the deficiency in this app is very high.

The products page and the checkout no longer share a screen like the old interface, so we have to toggle back and forth between products and the checkout. Super inefficient. The products section should have the checkout on the right side again.

I have 200 items, Half the screen is taken up with the cart when it could used for browsing and selecting products! The option to make the collection images smaller would be helpful Shopify😉to remove the bottleneck🍼

Old version allowed us to load a collection and have 12 Tiles on a screen to scroll through. New version only lists them and takes more steps to search and add quantity. PLEASE allow this feature to return.

The entire Shopify ecosystem is bizarre- and you don’t know that it doesn’t do something until you don’t know it doesn’t do it. By then, you feel stupid as you have invested time and energy into something as fun as banging your head against a wall...
But it’s clear that the engineers didn’t envision themselves in front of customers=====
Tipping is in the wrong step in the checkout
No was to price a delivery charge by zip code
No way to place an order for a future delivery date
No place to write a gift card message
Some of these things can be fixed by adding an app - for another charge. But then you have a whole new company and customer service group to engage.

The customer-view app does NOT screen mirror tips or signing, the app crashes and/or doesn’t connect to the screen mirror or the card reader well. Would not recommend
Don’t update tap card reader! 1/5
Don’t apply the latest tap card reader or it will brick your reader. This happened to two of our devices. Had to get replacements because the tamper lights came on. The update got to 99% then failed leaving the four blue lights on the reader. Once the battery drains two red lights come on and it no longer works. No way to recover.
Please test this more thoroughly going forward.

This is the best app I can use for m Business
The previous version of this app was much more intuitive, this is clunky.
Also, the ability to exchange has been removed on the Lite version. This is frustrating. I am now being asked to pay $89/mo for this feature, I’m no.

This app looks great from the cover but the reality is that it lacks a lot of things for a high volume retail store, this app is meant for online sales. It has no filter to “last month” when doing analytics on the shop app, you must use ANOTHER app to figure results on. It’s not SIMPLE to make returns when a customer has already returned from the same ticket, it makes you do it on ANOTHER app or webpage which is a waste of time and if my employees don’t have my account password they can’t process returns fairly. The app doesn’t let you change the seller after the sale is made if it was entered by error, the only option is to return abs make the sale again thus affecting the KPIs of the store. The app won’t let you change the tender type if you entered it incorrectly, a return has to be made to fix it and then make the sale again. It’s just a very limited app that you don’t have full control of the system and your sales. Another thing is that when an exchange is made, the money gets removed from the actual day you sold it and moved to the day you exchanged it, this should only happen to the amount over that the customer is paying (if that’s the case).
I really don’t recommend this for a busy place where many things can happen and the limited system won’t allow you to quick fix things. Customer service mostly won’t help you since the app is so limited that they don’t even know how to help.
Setting up and help desk was a mess. Still having issues but at least now we can call and not wait over an hour.

While I love the sleek new look, I notice a few things have been taken away and now requires a paid upgrade to Pro. Something as simple as the ability to send the cart to a customer is no longer available unless you pay to upgrade? It’s been free for the 8 years I’ve been using it! Maybe I have more to learn so I will update my review but for now, I give it 3 stars

This app randomly doesn’t scan some barcodes without deleting and re-downloading the app from scratch. Major problem and major bug that needs to be fixed o help business run smoothly.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That’s how the saying goes. The new version has so many things that need fixing! Who developed this new version?! And you want to charge more money?! You guys need to listen to your customers and fix things! The gift receipts no longer are customizable and no longer show my gift receipt return policy. Now I have to print out a separate sheet and staple it to the gift receipt! Waste of time! My customers used to have to remove their card from the reader before a receipt would print, now customers can accidentally leave their card in the reader. When ringing up customers, the system makes you go to another screen or two just to apply discounts then go back out of there. Why can’t we apply discounts on the main checkout screen where the items are shown like it used to be! The checkout process needs to be streamlined so you don’t have that many steps and pages to go through! In administration, you used to be able to see what items on the main product page (for example typing in the key word “tops”) were online vs just on point of sale, now you have to look at each product individually to see the status or click on a button to actually see it. These things are extra steps and a complete waste of time. The extra steps and missing features need attention immediately. I hope you guys fix the things your customers are asking for and restore the features! Listen to your customers. You are getting bad reviews because of the terrible new version and the fact that you are charging more money for less. The old version was so much better.

Shopify trick you into thinking this is the best all around software for small business owners at the beginning, and just before the holiday season they give you a big price jump; If you don’t want to go with the new pricing, they cut your service that you have been using for over a year to bare minimum (lite). Not only we don't get a break for the pandemic, they are making our life even more difficult. We are now on Shopify lite, and guess what, they took away the exchange function. Do you know any successful retail boutique store that doesn't provide exchange services?
