    I just have to rate the app honestly. There really is not content from Showtime I am interested in watching. I like Cartoon President but other than that there are few draws or reasons to subscribe. Sorry, just not for me.

    Ok so this app is just out right terrible. Showtime its self is a good streaming service with a great selection of content that is not the issue. The issue is with the design of the app, I subscribe to most of the streaming services available and Showtimes app is by far the worst. Now I feel this is a huge shame as Showtimes content with verity and just out right quality shows is one of if not the best streaming service for TV seasons etc. Just the navigation and design of the app puts it down at the bottom of all the streaming services. At first I thought it was me and I was just missing some menu or button but after asking my family and others I know they all had the same problems. Now I’m sure when you eventually figure out how to perform simple tasks on the app then what I’m saying would seem silly, but that is the issue after 4 weeks using the app I am still unable to skip backward 2 episodes, or buying up the list of episodes for instance. I genuinely went on to my local university to see if there was a coarse or something Showtime expect you to take to be able to navigate the app, I have no issue performing any functions when watching on different platforms e.g. Roku threw my television but the Apple app for me with a masters in software engineering, its just to complicated to use.

    I like this app and it would be five stars if only it had a skip forward button! Just like minus 30 seconds but forward. Or like others say make it a smaller amount like 10. Just please add the skip forward button.

    I like the content but hate using your app, the downloaded content always fails and requires restarting the app every five minutes. The rewind 30 seconds being the only control button while every video app has a 15 seconds forward and rewind being basic is a pain. Like I said like the content but make this app usable, it’s as if the programmers never use the app, it’s a pain. Change those two things, make it less buggy, shows mostly start from the beginning instead of where you left the episode.

    It’s really annoying that I can’t view the episode list. Every time it’s a new episode I have to REMEMBER what number episode I was on to pick the next one. It pisses me off that it can’t auto play the next episode, doesn’t offer the skip the intro and doesn’t give you the option to see how many episodes there even are for a specific season.

    Middle season finale which is okay. I already suspended my auto-renewal subscription until then. Updated : As of Today I found out via Twitter. The reason why middle season finale is because Showtime had halts the remaining episodes due to CORVID-19 pandemic. I understood totally and can’t wait for those remaining episodes to resumed.

    No technical problems with the app. In fact, I like the setup, including the way that My List works - it’s sortable. However, this app does not allow for multiple family member profiles and its viewer restrictions feature is worthless - just check and save, no password. Any kid who knows how settings work can change it. Also, viewer restrictions do not remove mature content from the home screen or suggested content lists, it just keeps the item from being viewed. It’s a good app, but not if you’re a parent.

    This may be the worst Apple TV app ever made. I hope you look forward to signing in to your account once a week and force closing the app to browse different content because it turns in to a popsicle stick. So I left a review about logging in issues and popsicle sticks. Showtime responded that I need to log in again. Priceless.

    The app is pretty sensitive to WiFi vs other streaming apps. But my biggest beef is how painful it is to go back a season - you know when you fall asleep binging and need to rewind. The season/episode interface is terrible. On the app and Roku, everywhere it seems!

    I signed up for the month free trial. After signing into account it takes me back to the “start free trial” screen and a pop up telling me I have already signed up for the free trial on the app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled app and same thing happens. Tried to sign on to the website and it asks me for a credit card. I have been in constant contact with Customer Service team and they can’t figure out what the problem is. Screen shots, duplicate info, etc exchange and they have no resolution!

    Another time one of those "free" trials sneaks up and bites. I don't recall ever opting in to use ShowTime and I don't recall ever looking at ShowTime, but here on June 1 I see a receipt for $10.99 from Apple for another month. Evidently, the coming month. And there isn't even a convenient link to cancel further charges. I guess it's up to me to burrow into "the web" and figure out how to cancel. Hate this!

    Binge watched one of my new favorite tv shows on this app, I think the only thing that I didn’t like was when I was scrolling through the tv shows (the list of them) and I would click on one to see what it’s about, and then exit back to the list, it would take me right back to the top of the list and then I’d have to scroll back down to where I left off, but really other then that I love it!

    The organization and operations of the app definitely have opportunities for improvement. The home page is odd. I’ve not found any way to create or edit the “My List” options. The content is good...if you can find it and re-find it and then re-find it again if you choose to not watch everything in one binge. Please make some user friendly improvements to this app. Allow us to organize and access our chosen content from page one.

    This app is much better than the app for my Samsung SmartTV. But it fails in a two key respects. 1. No fast forward button — I understand that creative types may not want viewers to be able to easily fast forward, but it’s utterly frustrating to not be able to have a mirror button to the rewind button. 2. Closed captioning doesn’t fit — When I Chromecast to my TV, the captions often don’t fit unless I adjust my TV picture size settings to fit screen. It’s bizarre.

    I actually subscribe to showtime. Every time I get ready to watch a movie or TV show i will get maybe 15-20 min into the movie then it stops. It tries to load for ever but nothing happens even with my cellular and Internet connection I never get to see a whole movie or TV show. It very irritating.

    I will never understand how you can pay $10-15 / month for streaming content with a large library and NOT have profiles for multiple viewers. HBO, CBS All Access, same nonsense. Please learn from Netflix, Disney +, and STARZ. Seriously, no 15 or 30 second fast forward? Guys, this is a pay service.

    This app is worse than Hulu. Showtime needs new UX designers. I feel like they created the app without ever actually using it. Episode selections should be easier. Getting to details/other episodes of the show you’re watching should be more comprehensive. The rewind button fast forwards for some reason. On top of a limited selection of movies and shows, definitely not a first or second streaming choice. They might want to fix this; nobody’s going back to cable.

    I subscribed but the app won’t move past the subscription page. Literally can’t even get to the content. Thought it was me so my husband tried on his phone, same frustrating experience. Needless to say, I cancelled.

    Perhaps the single biggest wish I had was to have a navigation panel like other streaming services. The 30 seconds back is great but no option to go forward? Scrubbing works but isn’t quite as effective when returning to the right spot

    App takes forever to buffer, even with 250mb DL connection. It doesn’t remember where you left off when watching a show. Instead “resuming” plays previous episode already watched. Downloading the shows don’t help buffering at all. Scrolling through shows is painful and is nearly impossible.

    This is about this app and the versions that you may have on your smart TV. The navigation is horrible. I like the content and find it interesting but I am beyond frustrated with the poorly designed navigation to find the content I want. It's almost as if they don't use their own product. Could be vastly better. Two stars for that reason.
