Great esp this time of isolation!!!
I cancelled the subscription months ago and I’m nose realizing they are still charging me monthly and I don’t even have a account nomore. Ridiculous.

Showtime has great series and adult choices . . Although it could get better quality movies by searching the archives all the way back to when film began .More docs,more reality shows and more short films and never seen productions before . That wound improve the showtime experience
Great content, awful app 1/5
While I love the fact that I am able to download content...what is the point if it NEVER is able to play due to an error. Different iPhone versions, different app versions but the same issue persists.

Signed up for an account and can not access it through Apple TV. Keeps telling me the account is not valid even though it I can watch it on my phone. I shouldn’t have to stream it through Airplay when Apple TV actually has the app on the dashboard.
Not a good App with the smart tv. Does not seem to be compatible. It sticks or freezes and you can not make adjustments. Also Apple has this all screwed up. If you download and sign up for the showtime App its not the same as the Apple TV showtime App and you will be charged twice. One account should work for all. But leave it to Apple to steal from us. Remember Apple is one of the many US corps who sold us to China. FYI.

I you like the 10 second fast forward like me while streaming the slower scenes or re-watching episodes showtime streaming service does not have the capability

Circus is not loading 4/5
The series of Circus is not loading the most recent episode. Keeps telling me to sign in but I’m viewing through Apple TV like I normally do. After connected it doesn’t load the last episode but gives access to past episodes. What’s going on?

Goes into an endless loop of telling you to sign in, then “start subscription”, then says your already subscribed and logs you out. Worst $10 bucks I’ve ever spent. Went and bought a chrome stick that actually works.

This is next to impossible to cancel!!! Ive read several different instructions on how to cancel AND NONE OF THEM WORK!! Don’t ever give a credit card to showtime app!! You’ll regret it!!!!!

I was led to believe that I would be streaming channels like CBS.ABC...NBC..FOX. I am using my iPhone 10 did I do something wrong???
Therefore I’m not receiving those channels??

I’ve signed up and canceled a few times. I mostly used it to catch up on Shameless. The movie selection is decent sometimes. Every 3 months or so I come across a movie that is only streaming on Showtime and after weighing the pros and cons of re-subscribing for that one movie I just don’t watch the movie. I would probably keep it if there was a $70-$80 yearly fee rather than the monthly. It makes budgeting for something you don’t use that much easier.

This app incredibly flawed. Constantly shuts down in the middle of episodes, never keeps tracks of what episode I am on, and starts new episodes midway through the episode. Complete joke!!!

APP DOESNT LOAD: Stuck on loading screen 1/5
I downloaded the app and could not even get to the log in page. It was stuck on the showtime logo page, and even when I force quit and also redownloaded the app, it gets stuck on the “Showtime” intro screen. My wifi is good, but the screen freezes and I can’t use the app. Ridiculous!

No matter how I am holding my phone, the video always starts upside down. I have to turn my phone to correct it every time. It always tells you that you are not connected to WiFi and you have to press the continue button. I know I am not connected to WiFi. Shows are great.

I don’t think the developers of this App have ever seriously used it. Maybe Showtime doesn’t want to give them a free subscription to actually attempt to watch / download and watch it. The “continue watching” feature should be “continue watching some random episode”. Phone locks automatically if you pause? Just start over. Maybe the app developers are too busy watching Netflix on a good app to make this one palatable.

What is the point of having that opinion when I can’t even watch the movie .-. Everytime I download a movie it either gets stuff on loading and never plays or it says I haven’t played the app for so long that it won’t play even though I downloaded it the night before. But other than that I love the app

I have a 7-day free trial and have tried several times to play any episode of Homeland. I keep getting the error message “Video playback failed. Resource unavailable.” What does that mean? All my other apps are working fine.

Why can’t I get to a season’s episode from the home page? I have to open a list of series and then because there is no search box scroll until I find the series I’m looking for open it and find the episode. The app works wonderful but the navigation design is irritating.

No advance forward button. No search feature. Doesnt go right the next episode after that episode completes. No skip past the front bumper previews of other shows. Has anyone designing this app ever watched Amazon Prime Video? How about Netflix?

Once upon a time this worked splendidly. Then came iOS and app updates and boom! Only works on my AppleTV now and NOT on iPhone or iPad. App Support wants to blame Comcast and DirectTV and afternoon three weeks apparently gave up on a resolution by saying they passed it over to some tech guys.
