    This app not only helps you control your weight and eating habits, it also helps you gain confidence and feel much better. I was going through a tough time during this whole pandemic and didn’t think I could go on until Simple gave me something to focus on and commit to.     When I start fasting it always gives me until 6:30pm. I am sure i put that time in when I registered but it doesn’t update when I start my meals at a new time. Sometimes I eat at 10am and sometimes not until 1 pm. Shouldn’t the end time for eating change as well? If there is something I’m doing wrong, please let me know but this one thing is driving me nuts.

    Re. developer response: thanks for getting back to me but unfortunately the below problem still stands. Getting the notifications saying “1hr/30min left” remain inaccurate if my desired end time is 7:15pm and my Simple settings require me to put end time of either 7pm or 7:30pm. Also, I still get unwanted content notifications though I already turned them off in my settings, which makes me want to turn them off altogether. — Original review: I just started using Simple and so far have found it pretty good for tracking my meals and it’s encouraging to see the different states my body goes through as I fast. Unfortunately this app requires you to set your fast times either on the hour, or 30min past the hour; nothing in between. This is a big problem for me as my husband and I have chosen to do our fasts at 15min past, meaning I don’t get any of the notifications and alerts to start my fast at the right time. My husband uses a different app that allows him to choose the time down to the minute. I’ve stuck with Simple because I like that there’s Watch compatibility, but if I’m not getting the notifications I need then it may be pointless anyway. As such I may have to switch to using the same app as him instead. I wish Simple would allow us to actually select custom fasting times, then I’d definitely stick to it.

    Animated Graphics are cute, the food log is just the cat’s meow! It’s so SIMPLE to use, hahaha - other 🥘 logs I find stressful, they require amount of information for each meal but with simple, you simply enter your meal!!! Im on my second day and just loving it 👌

    At first I really liked the app but I struggle with anorexia and every time I click where I eat like standing/walking it always tells me how distracting eating is bad (I get that) but when I already eat very little it ends up becoming discouraging on how I’m somehow always eating wrong, so I wouldn’t really recommend this if you have an ED. And there should be more options than just meals or snacks, meals imply that they’re always big meals and snacks mean like just an apple or something, why not “small meal” or something like that to accurately determine what’s going on

    This is my first day with this app-I just switched from another app that didn’t allow food tracking. There aren’t many food options to choose from. There’s no where to track supplements. AND when I attempted to contact the developer to find out, I couldn’t “send” without paying for the yearly subscription. I planned on purchasing the subscription if I liked the feel of the app, but I shouldn’t have to pay to send a question!

    this app is exactly what i need!!! i’ve been wanting to try intermittent fasting since my mom started doing it a few months ago, but i was SUCH A HOG that i even ate my sister’s leftovers when she wouldn’t finish her plate. i was always 85-90 pounds, but it seems like when i turned 25, i just wanted to eat eat and eat, so i’m up to 115 pounds now/: i run 2 miles like every other day, i go for bike rides almost every other day as well, and i lift weights regularly, but i needed something MORE! i know siri listens to what we say so i know this application came up as an advertisement on instagram for a reason.😉 THANK YOU FOR ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IN THIS APP!!!!!! 💜

    I say and say! PLEASE don't not sign up for this app! They are a RIP OFF! I signed up for the 7 day trail and they charged my account before the 7 days was up plus the app is not user friendly. And when I asked for a refund they did not give it to me!! The rep Ivan was not helpful at all!!! If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would!     I have a suggestion regarding the ‘Healthy’ trend under ‘Journal’. Currently there are only 3 options when we log our meals, which are healthy, unhealthy and mixed. Putting myself as an example, I only eat 2 meals a day. My dinner is generally healthy, whereas my lunch is generally mixed but leaning to the healthy side. When I log, I always put mixed for lunch and healthy for dinner. However, this put my trend at 50% healthy, but in reality, I feel that i eat a lot healthier than 50% (around 80%). Therefore, my suggestion is how about changing the options into a rating scale instead of 3 rigid options of healthy, unhealthy and mixed? Customers can rate their meal on a scale of lets say from 1-10 depending on how healthy they feel. In this way, for my case, I can put my lunch at 7/10 and dinner at 9/10 for example, and my trend will come out to be more accurate.

    Update: I was told to email the app support and I did as such! It’s been days and there is no reply! At this point I would just like my money back! I asked for a refund in my 2nd email and got no response..... I just started and idk how it can help me if it keeps entering my weight, height and goal weight incorrectly. No matter how many times I try to change it.... it goes right back to the wrong numbers! It’s annoying and I already paid for an app that’s already not working 🤨

    Honestly I really like this app. I was skeptical because every other fasting app has you pay and doesn't give an option for a free trial but I saw this one and gave it a try. After from almost a month using it I met my target weight and even lost more! This app is super easy to use and also very helpful for just having the free part of the app I've lost 6 pounds in about a week or so and I'm planning on using this app a lot more this app is very helpful when choosing what time or plan you want to do and other goals like water goals, activity goals and shows what state your body is in during fasting (which I thought was really helpful). I definitely recommended this app even if you are trying fasting for the first time.

    I signed up for the 7-day trial and didn’t find the app useful. I was able to monitor my fasting on my own and other apps are better at calorie counts and tracking. So I went to cancel when my trial ended and I was charged anyway. When I contacted them to discuss the charge they told me their refund policy requires that I try the app for 25 days without results before issuing a refund. I’m not sure what this is, but it’s not good customer service.

    So this is totally new for me. I’ve been actually doing really well I think and sticking with my fasting and cutting out unhealthy foods. I track what I eat as well. My only thing about this app is that I wish it specified more what your eating. Specific foods like chips or if I had pasta and vegan meatballs. Those little improvements I think would help even better.

    There seem to be some bugs when recording weight and height into profile. I had to put it in a number of times and still making me taller or shorter than I am, and also I’m using Imperial and it seems to be recording kg for weight. Also it says I fasted 3 out of 7 days but it is more like 6 out of 7. I actually started fasting early and after last recorded meal it didn’t count the time? Idk. Anyway, I like it. I thought at first it’s just a learning curve using it, but it seems a little buggy to me. Perhaps new update fixed some of that. One last thing, the food choices need to be expanded. Bread seems to be a catch all for whole grains and other things.. but what about oatmeal? Quinoa? Tortillas? You get the idea. Hope this feedback helps!

    Overall a good app. It does worry me that it encourages reducing your eating window and even has a part that is a positive about fasting for 6 days! That is concerning if young people decide to try the app. There should be warnings about fasts that long and there should be encouragement to actually eat at some point. Found it very disturbing that I am continually encouraged to fast but not encouraged to eat. There should be an education in those helpful articles about a healthy diet and an occasional long fast

    I had always heard of fasting, but I was conflicted for years and didn’t know if I even believed this weight loss method. But finally I got to this point in my life a few days ago where I weighed the heaviest I ever had. And It ruined my confidence and made me hate myself, and I was done feeling the way. So I finally decided to take action. And I downloaded the app and decided to give fasting a try and I’ve lost 7 pounds in just one week. I don’t have to deprive myself with calorie counting or stress about what to eat. I try to make healthier options, but I don’t always. And evens with that I still lost weight. I’m truly amazed and so happy. The only thing I’d recommend to the app is to add more food options like granola bars or shrimp, and certain other things because not every food I eat is on there. But besides that this app has been amazing and really helps keep track of my water ,my exercise, my hunger and my food and I’ve obviously gotten results from it and I would recommend fasting to anyone.😊

    It actually helps, when I first got the app I thought it was going to be one of those apps that try’s to help but at the end of the survey it says to pay blah blah blah to continue but not this one. Sure it asks u to pay for better care but u don’t have to and it still does a pretty good job. But make sure ur completely honest , for example i was honest and told the app that I ate a certain food because I was craving it and as soon as I submitted the meal a virtual helper came and checked up on me asking why were u craving it and a bunch of other questions. And I usually don’t write reviews but this app deserved it
