I’ve tried most of the apps for meditation. This one is by far my favorite. It’s a great investment, money and time wise.
Good app for busy people 4/5
I used to meditate a lot when I was younger and had the time. I got away from it as the demands of every day life increased. This app is great because you only need 5 minutes, and the meditations are very simple. Great for meditation beginners, or those beginning again. I personally don’t like these subscription models for apps (hence the 4 not 5 stars) but I understand it’s necessary to be a viable business model. There are a handful of good meditation apps out there and this is definitely high on my list.
Bad Grammar Keeps Me Awake 1/5
I’m stunned that a flagrant grammar mistake is highlighted.
Chickens lay eggs. People lie down. People lay car keys down, meaning they place an object.
“Laying in bed?” Incorrect grammar won’t relax me!! Lie/Lay misuse is a nightmare. Google can help.
Cancel subscription 4/5
How do I cancel my subscription? I thought I was doing the free trial but it says it’s going to charge me if I don’t cancel within 5 days. Please let me know. Thanks
Helps me be calm, sleep, and just improves my life! Also I love that there is no ads popping up every 5 seconds, like other apps! Love it!!!

Love this so far- have a 5 days streak. Wish they would give a little more than 2 days per session topic for free so you can get more of a feel for it- some of the stuff is repetitive. Otherwise no complaints this app was an awesome idea!
Finally An App I Enjoy 5/5
I have tried so many meditation apps in an effort to connect with the present and engage in self care practices. Many I try for a couple days and get bored, but this app includes just enough variety of topics and guided meditations that it’s keeping me engaged. The meditations are simple and some include relevance for specific situations. It’s the first meditation app I’m considering paying for premium content. Thanks!

Really enjoy this application. If you have any mental health issues you are struggling with then this is a good way to relieve the pain. I have a very bad problem on focusing on the moment because I have to keep my mind active almost every minute and using this has made me feel so much better and able to make it through the day.

I discovered simple habit on Shark Tank and decide to give it a try and I’ve not been disappointed. Whether I want to work on improving my focus, unwind at the end of a busy day or just take five minutes for my self simple habit has the I need that day to calm my mind and put me in a happier and more productive mood!

I signed up for the free-trial. It was nice or whatever. But it attempted to charge my card for $95.59. Luckily I’m a college student and am broke so it declined. If you’re a college student or broke, there is YouTube videos online with the very similar material featured in this app.

My favourite meditation app 5/5
I have 8 or 9 meditation apps, but Simple Habit is my favourite.
The interphase is beautiful and functional. The range of topics is intriguing. The ability to give feedback and request new topics gives a community aspect.
I meditate to help with my mental state and Simple Habit has worked the best for me. I have over 650 minutes totalled on this app so far and plan on buying the full version.

I saw this on shark tank and stumbled across it when I was looking for help to start meditating. I remembered being moved by the founder and her belief in the benefits of even the smallest beginning mindfulness, for one’s self and more broadly...and decided to try. The app is simple, nudging but not obnoxious. Trauma series has been useful, and the app offers so many targeted guided meditations. Strong impact for only small consistent commitment and this is a great tool to help keep that commitment.

I had been using Simple Habits for quite some time but took time away for a while. When returning I found all the good meditations were now under premium pay! Needless to say I was very disappointed. At least you’ve kept some of the meditations free.

I used to struggle with meditating this app has helped me to achieve daily meditation. I’m getting a better inner connection with myself and surroundings. I’m able to go to a relax place no matter what I’m experiencing throughout my day. Love how I feel after each session with this app!!
I got a notification to remind me to meditate then I though “oh hey I should meditate” when the app opened I found that the app reset itself like I had just downloaded it...

The meditations are good on this app, but they are often too short. I think the developers focused on trying to make the meditations short rather than making the meditations work for what needs to be said. For instance, one meditation asks listeners to repeat affirming statements but then gives the listeners no time to repeat Them. I kept having to pause the meditation to be able to do what the meditation was asking me to do. And of course there’s the cost. It’s a very expensive app.

So I started with the headspace app and it’s GREAT. But I wanted to try new people guiding the meditation.
Simple habit app is helping me change how I view my self, my life, my free time, and my commitment to myself. When I don’t set aside time to check in and meditate for even 5 minutes, I don’t feel as good in that day. It’s become a habit I look forward to at night before bed whereas I used to dread meditating.
There’s a meditation on every subject you could want. Self acceptance, dealing with difficult emotions, greif, anger, sos panic attack, insomnia, abundance/gratitude.
Awesome guides who deliver the meditations.
I became THAT person who won’t shut up about how meditation has changed their life.
Seriously try it for a month with a solid commitment. <3

I really like this app. After just using it a few days I really do feel more relaxed. I use it before work and before bed, during the day I find myself not getting so annoyed easily and at bedtime I actually sleep better and I don’t wake up as often.

I have always wanted to go to bed early, but felt stuck in my late night routine. Cory Muscara’s 31 Day Fresh Start Podcast in Simple Habits really spoke to me and gave me the strength and self-love I didn’t know I needed to start giving myself those extra hours of sleep I’ve always wanted. I can’t even imagine myself going back to being a night owl anymore!

Beginner with a schedule as busy as everyone else’s. I do the 5 minute sessions for now. I like the range of topics (more waking/running meditations please). It has been about a month and I do notice a difference in myself. I don’t seem to be as crabby, meaning I can enjoy things more. It is not an inexpensive app, but I do use it everyday.

For an app about mindfulness, it doesn’t seem to practice what it preaches...
I loved the app and meditations until the constant feedback requests got annoying (goodness forbid you gave 4 stars, it didn’t let you continue without justifying...talk about biased information). Then came the glitches. Now, I contacted them several times, how the app kept crashing -in the middle of meditation- and/or when it decided not to record what you did. I use the day count as a way to monitor my progress as it establishes a good habit...only to get no response when I contact about one day which isn’t showing up, and they charge you for premium-if you haven’t yet, don’t worry, only when they want you to pay for premium will you get an email back asking for feedback...
If I could go back in time I would use another app whose policy is more aligned with meditation than making money such as insight timer (it is free...). Of course the meditations you like will be on premium, you would think they could have a 10 favorites they let you choose to keep if you want to use it without premium...
Sorry « simple » habit, but it seems insight timer is gaining a new follower (although for you it’s losing a client)
I want to buy this app, but it’s hard to afford the full price at once. If it were an option to pay the $7.99 a month, on a year long contract I would upgrade. I can’t swing the $100 at once on an app, but could afford a smaller monthly. Will it ever be an option??

Frustrating times. This is the best self-medicating tool out there! I didn’t know _how_ to meditate. I just started doing this for 5 mins a day and now I’ve meditated for over 2,000 mins! 😱
This is good for every occasion- even riding in the car or taking a walk! You don’t have to be sitting in a dark corner or on top of a mountain to meditate. Give it a chance, let it change you & save you from a busy mind! Namaste 🙏🏾

This app was sooo helpful and amazing for any situation, PLUS it was ALL free. I’m not sure when but sometime in the last month simple habit has made MOST of the meditations cost money. Usually I don’t write reviews, good or bad, but I truly thought this was a genuinely great app but apparently they’re just out to make money like everyone else. With that aside I think this app is amazing and honestly before it made you pay money I would say it was almost perfect.

Intros to Meditation Sessions 3/5
Overall, this app is pretty good. It’s great for being able to fit a little bit of meditation into each day, even with a busy schedule. My one big criticism, and this is true for a lot of different meditation apps, though I had hoped that this one might be different, is of the lengthy intros at the beginning of sessions and series of sessions. I understand the need for an intro sometimes, but I wish they were recorded separately from the actual meditations themselves. If I’m starting a series, such as the one on Gratitude, for example, I am committed to it, and have already done my research. I just want to get to the meditation. I really don’t want to listen to a 4-minute into talking about the benefits of gratitude mindfulness and meditation. Some may want this, and if it was recorded separately, people could have the option of listening to it, but please don’t force me to listen to it. It is honestly just annoying and counterproductive. Overall good app, but could use some fine-tuning in this regard.
