Simply Guitar Review 3/5
By Kathrine Valentino
It is a good learning app, but it is pricey I wish that it was free especially for younger kids who wish to learn guitar but their parents cannot fit it in the budget. It is a great way to learn guitar overall, I do hope they lower their prices, I understand that some things aren’t free.
So much fun! 5/5
Love this app. It’s very easy to follow along.
Top notch 5/5
I’ve attempted other apps and this is top notch
Great for beginners, still some problems though 3/5
I like this app and it really helped me out with guitar basics and techniques, but there are some problems. For starters, the sound recognition can get really annoying sometimes because you’ll be playing the chords or notes correctly but it can still say that you were wrong, such as playing an E chord and an E7 chord simultaneously, the E7 always says I’m wrong so now I have to mute my strings before each of those notes (just an example). Another problem with this app is the glitches, if you complete a lesson and you press skip too fast, the app will glitch and will act as though you haven’t done the lesson yet and you have to start all over. To be honest it wouldn’t be a big deal to me if it wasn’t for how tedious and repetitive the lessons get, which is my last but not least issue with the app. The lessons don’t even go at full speed, and you can only do full speed and even 120% for songs…in the training section??? It really doesn’t make any sense at all. And for the repetitiveness, especially for the chord lessons, it’s just unnecessary and with it not going full speed it is so draining.
The pro and cons. 3/5
What I really liked was that I love instruments just that me and my sibilino have so many activities I can’t go to guitar clases and the 1st free lesson u loved it and it really was easy because I adapt to things easily and I learned my 1st chord hurray.
I disliked that after I learned my 1st chord I couldn’t even do the song part because as I said in my previous review my parents would not be able to afford $20 dollars per month and because recently my mother crashed about a month ago we just got a knew car so hands down paying for the course it not posible.
But I just wanna say thanks skimpily guitar for the 1st course of 1 knew chord for me it was Em for E miner, I hope your app does well it is a award winning or something like that but for me I’ll probably find another app to use even though most likely they well all be required a pay per month good luck with your app and PLEASE REALES SIMPLY VIOLIN.
Es muy didáctico para aprender
Everyone needs to chill 4/5
By The Dudet a dude but a girl
I love this app it helps me a lot I love how you can go at your own pace and if you don’t understand something you could always go back and redo the lesson, but everyone needs to chill I have read a lot of reviews on how it won’t listen to you and it won’t get the notes but what do you expect?! It’s a Mobile app I understand your paying but if you want really good feedback then go to a real live person to teach you. This is a great alternative to that but people need to understand that as a mobile app it has limits. People are also talking about the fact you have to pay. Well duh of course it’s not free there are no ads and they need to make money. All of these guitar apps you have to pay you have to pay a real teacher. Yes you could go on YouTube but let’s be honest it ain’t that easy to learn like that. Thank you for your time
Great app! Add Ukulele? 5/5
I love this app! It’s been so much fun learning to play new songs and practicing my skills. Any chance you could ukulele?! That’d be sweet!
Another pseudo-free app 2/5
They never say upfront that you have to pay otherwise you won’t download this app
You learn 1 chord and thats it!
After that you gotta pay everything else
It helped me a lot i love it!! And ITS COMPLETELY FREE!!
Wow what an app 5/5
This app is awesome I am learning new cords learning songs and more I will keep using SimplyGuitar to ROCK ON!!!!!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

Super good 5/5
By five stars for guitar's
It is really good but it doesn’t listen to the exact thing’s you play but still five star
It’s a joke 1/5
By Noah Boggs
I’ve played other instruments all my life, learned mandolin recently, and thought guitar would be fun to know.
This app teaches you nothing slowly. You sit down with your guitar and hope to learn but I haven’t learned a thing.
Save yourself some time and google guitar chords or youtube videos.
Liked the app but don’t want to pay why can’t we have free fun 1/5
By follow me @ pocolocococo3
Great app but chords are very annoying to play 4/5
It can’t hear the DM and E chords
The technology is not mature at all 2/5
Because I'm practicing with an electric guitar (because the sound is low , it won't disturb other people.) But this app doesn't support electric guitar at all, I use irig2, but the app doesn't recognize the sound coming from irig at all. There is also no way to set the audio source. This aspect is really not as good as Yousician. I finally gave up on this app.
you can only learn what you want if you have the money for it 2/5
its good for learning some basic guitar stuff, or as a tuner if youre poor. the tuner is literally the only reason im giving this 2 stars instead of 1.
screw you and your premium membership bull.
READ THIS!!!! 2/5
You can do lessons and it helps you learn but you can’t learn to play any songs without paying
Autism and developing don’t go together 1/5
By BBC DDs
It seems like some one slow to the brain made this app because every time I play a note it doesn’t read it and I tuned it according to the app
I love the game 5 Star easily this is a game for beginners it will help
Pretty good 4/5
Sometimes the notes don’t register ever though I know I’m playing it right and they should have an option to Star at a place for people who know a bit more but overall pretty good
Best app ever 5/5
By Ethan super
The first ten minutes I ready know how to play it
Horrible for learning guitar 1/5
You need a membership for every course and song, it only teaches you one chord for free and the rest you need a membership for when it tells you to pick a song to play it teaches you the basics then when it is time to play the song it tells you to buy premium.
“Premium membership” 1/5
The app is good at first, however you need to buy their stupid “premium” membership after the first course. I get it that the app needs money, but they made it so bad to the point where you can’t even play after “
Guitar basics I” (aka the first course) To be honest I liked the app, until the dumb premium membership popped up.
Not that good. 3/5

I bought my daughter a guitar so she could learn to play it. She downloaded this app and came to be saying that the microphone couldnt pick up some of the chords.
Horrible app🤢 1/5

You have to pay to play an instrument in the comfort of your own home??? UNBELIEVABLE
So good 5/5

This app is great but when I used it and I played the notes it kept telling me I was getting it wrong so I went to tune it and it was perfect I made sure I was playing the note right and I was doing it right so it took me like 2 hours to pass that stage I needed to do and it was very frustrating.
I love it 5/5
It’s interesting to learn
It’s a good app, but needs some improvements 4/5
I have learned my frets on guitar and I’ve gotten pretty good at it but The apps listening feature is a little wonky it sometimes plays the cord for me even if I don’t play it but it’s really good app I also have simply piano and I learn piano too so really good app. Great job joy tunes!
This is a s actual helpful!!!!! 5/5
I have only just downloaded this app and I have already learned from it!!! It is exactly what that ad says it is and so much more!! If you’re a beginner or a pro who’s looking for a challenge or a past player who’s a bit rusty, this is an amazing way to learn, challenge, or spruce up what you already know with it’s learning system designed for you!
Not bad 3/5
The feedback on the tuner works great but the app will accept any audio for the notes, I laughed in my session then it told me I completed my notes
Simply guitar is so easy and simple 4/5
By king E 211
I love simply guitar it helps so much and makes everything better
Ads were very misleading 1/5
The ads gave the impression that you would be able to play songs with out paying money and in most ads it shows the people downloading the apps and being able to play any song they want right away. In my experience it only let me learn the basic guitar. Which all it teaches you are the EM chord. Overall the app was a disappointment.
Me gusta apenas llevo un día y también que me ayuda y que no tengo maestro 5/5

Simply Guitar 3/5
The app is cool BUT I was trying to play a fret but it crept taking me like 20 min for it to detect my cored but the people working with me were very nice
Use Yousician instead. 1/5
They clearly spent too much on ads and not enough on the actual app. I couldn’t recommend Yousician enough it’s a bit expensive but at least it can pick up what I’m playing. It’s upsetting because I do think it’s a good app but the audio completely ruins any fun you’d have with it. Some people have even broke their strings trying to get it in tune because the app says it’s too high or low. Such a poor design you’d think it was intentional but I think they just didn’t care enough to make a good working app
Love it its fun to use and so far its made it easy to play
Fix the sound pick up 2/5
I have been using the app for a while now and I have been stress bc the app isn’t picking up anything and it’s telling me that I am not playing the right notes so just please for the love of god FIX IT.
Not registering tune correctly 1/5
By William butlicer
Title says it. I can tune it using guitar Tuna super well , then use this app and it completely fails to register all strings. Gonna try yousician
By love but not that much
So I thought this was a free app, yes it’s free to download but not free to play. I was about to play before a video popped up saying “ free subscription you can use all of this” I was really excited. If your going to plaster on your add that your app is free make sure to put in the add that it’s $10 a month. Have a wonderful day.
The tuner 1/5
By Lucas Hixon
The tuner trash
Told me to tighten it more and broke my guitar
I HATE THIS 1/5
I was casually tuning AND I WAS TUNING RIGHT BUT IT WAS LIKE NO TRY AGAIN IT SAID TO HIGH I MADE IS LOW STILL ON THE SAME SPOT THAT KEPT HAPPENING AND I MADE IT SO LOW AND THE TO HIGH BAR WAS STILL IN THE SAME SPA
Don’t use 1/5
By fix the game a bug is here
I was using the app to tune my guitar and it broke I am a 15 year old I don’t have the kind of money to buy a new one thanks a lot never using again
Probably okay 2/5
I was really liking the app till I ran into the paywall I would recommend telling us something about it because I was trying to begin learning guitar not sure if I’ll play everyday so adding a membership to that kind of makes me cautious if I will play everyday to get my moneys worth.
Listen feature doesn’t work 1/5
Get ready to play the same note/chord a million times because this app can’t hear an acoustic from a foot away.
Honestly good job I have improved and learned
Thank you very much
