I am able to accept the letter I got from joytunes and I tried to do those actions and it worked.
Little problem 4/5
I think overall the app is great but I’m 11 and doing this for fun and I think you should let people like me who can’t pay for songs at least some songs for free I think that is the only flaw plz let some songs be free so I can play without having to pay
Good for beginners but.. 3/5
By Lemon Mayo
If you haven’t played piano, this is a good app for you, but I know how to play piano and I came here so I could learn a song, but I have to learn all the courses and I am not paying for anything.
From the advertisements, they say you could learn you favorite songs on here, but they never said I had to start ALL the way from the beginning, since I know how to play piano I couldn’t find any tutorials for a song so I decided to come here and I couldn’t get it. The three choices of starting was learning from scratch, learned as a child, and I’ve had some experience, but they should add “I know how” so I could learn my songs and not start like a beginner.
Pay to play 3/5
This app cost money to use it after the 1st lesson so I’ll only give this 3 stars
It’s a bit hard but fun! 2/5
By all the names ate taken
I love the app but I have only been playing for 3 or 4 days. It’s really fun pretty challenging tho.....
Yearly subscription renewal beware 1/5
They charge an auto full year subscription of $120 after 7 day free trail, and there’s no refund even if you try to cancel subscription. I mean if it was a month then maybe I won’t be this upset, but over 100 dollars?!!
Why pay?? 3/5
This should be free so people won’t spend money for education, I think it would be wrong to have to pay to learn how to play piano.
Why should you have to pay 1/5
I think it’s cool to okay the first few lessons but then to pay to learn? Like why? For what? Now I can’t learn to play my keyboard because I can’t pay for the rest of the app
It doesn’t hear the correct keys or it is bugging out. There is no coaching on why I’m having to do practice over and over so I’m left to assume the app is wrong. Is my tempo off? It’s making me start over from the basic lesson every time I open the app because I’m not “passing the level”. It says I need practice when I know I’m hitting the right keys. Sooooo frustrating.
Cool dude 5/5
At first, I thought it wouldn’t be much of a piano game, but one day when I was practicing the “Yankee Doodle” song on my Rock Jam piano; our family piano that Ryan, our dad put in the library I bought it and it’s actually really cool! I just wish it also has sheet music for the Spongebob Squarepants song “A Grill is Not a Home” which is on Ep. 34 “Welcome to the Chum Bucket” and for the Loud House theme song and other Loud House songs. I know that’s a lot of information to keep track of but I hope it keeps track of it all.
The app isn’t working 1/5
Whenever i press a key on the piano the app doesn’t register it and it still happens when my case is off please fix

This a good motivation for staters but you have to pay to do and that is just a waste of money
By Michal Roberts
I started my summer vacation wanting to learn more piano than the 6 shorts songs from YouTube I’ve memorized, but I did not want to spend money on real lessons. I also did not like the idea of leaving my house to play piano when I could just stay at my house and play on my own piano. Earlier today I was looking for a song to learn on YouTube. When I clicked on the video, the ad was for this app. I had previously seen ads for simply piano but this time I decided to download it. In the beginning I said that I had some experience with piano, but it felt like the app started from scratch and taught me nothing more than a song I already knew. After the first course I wanted to see what songs they had. However, when clicking on the songs button, all I saw was a video that was telling me that I could learn more songs and how to play better if I spent MONEY on the app.
So after about 25 minutes playing 5 notes in different rhythms, all I ask is that the app is made almost completely FREE
Maybe you could add a token system, where you could earn tokens by playing songs and spend those token to by more songs. You could also have in app purchases that would be unnecessary for learning to play, but could let you play even more songs than the ones that would already be free.
Please take my suggestion add undertale songs if they aren’t already included
Wrong keys 1/5
By >w< Dema
It keeps thinking keys are wrong when they’re actually right like for example it thinks middle C is B or that D is D flat.

So this app is obviously called “SimplyPiano “ but...my daughter couldn’t get any real songs because it costs money so if you don’t want to spend money on an app then you shouldn’t get this app.
Does not pay up for the price! 1/5
In all honesty I’ve been ecstatic about finally getting this app. Seen it all over YouTube and other platforms as a way to learn piano the fastest and was getting all the glory. EXCEPT, that’s not the case: at the beginning it asks for level of experience but even if you select that you have experience, it puts you through “this is middle C” “play it three times” and then “this is d” and so on. It is frustrating because I know the keyboard well and some music theory and there’s no way of placing you where you should be. I believe developers should make like a placement test to see where someone is so that they don’t have to sit through first day of piano lessons. Now, key recognition is the worst! I cannot play through a simple “c,d,e” triad without getting one note wrong and having to do it over and over and over and over and over again to be placed in practice mode to do it again over and over and over and over again. The price should match to performance and unfortunately it does not. Also having the option to upload your own music sheet so that you can get virtual help from it would be astounding. Invest your money elsewhere. If you don’t believe try it yourself and halfway through think of this review and come back and write the same thing. It’s a “NO” from me.

Is a great app to help play piano .
Thank you simply piano! 5/5
I’ve been wanting to learn piano for soooooo long! And I never knew what to learn with! But when I saw the notes and simply I’m like that’s it. That’s what I’m looking for! So I used it and it was amazing! Thank you Simply!
It’s free? 1/5

Good but after you learn how to play the first five keys you have to pay to learn the rest 🙄🙄 ᑎOT ᗰY ᑕᑌᑭ Oᖴ Tᗴᗩ!!!
By No nickname because
Ok, so i downloaded the app thinking i was going to learn to play the piano. I learned 5 notes that any idiot could figure out, and then it said i had to pay a RIDICULOUS amount of money to learn more? I barely learned anything! You could have gotten the free lesson it gave you off of YouTube! I am allowed to spend some money on apps, but the amount its asking me to pay is just way to high. Im not paying 119 dollars to use an app. From reading other reviews, a lot of other people are upset about this too. Some people aren’t rich you know. Lower the price please! Everyone is unhappy about the price so why not just lower it? Also, don’t give me a developer response because those are robotic and not written by real people.
I hate this honestly 1/5
I gave this one star because whenever I do the right key it always says I did it wrong and when I first got this game, it kept on freezing! And I had to wait like 10 minutes for it to say I did the right key, it annoyed the heck out my parents! And also when I first got it, I went into practice mode every time I ‘got something wrong!’ Which I did the right key so if you want to learn how to play the piano, don’t download this in my opinion just get classes. This might be an agree to disagree thing with you or an agree to agree subject. So I don’t recommend this..
Don’t download unless read 3/5
By Bo Bia
Soooo there’s a little coding mustake (I spelt that wrong) that the f note is mixed up this the key above f note IM AM TRIGGERED I AM JUST -takes deep breath- ok I’m good just be sure to be patient so that’s why I’m giving it a three star
This app is horrible 1/5
This app is horrible doesn’t advertise sure it teaches you 5 cordeds but you have to pay to learn how do songs if I didn’t have to read it a star then I would be better but now I have to redo the stars so I’ll give it a one
I’m pretty good at piano but I don’t know all the notes or cords or anything like that. I was on my phone and I saw the add for SimplyPiano and I thought it was great because it said I could learn to play songs. I was interested so I downloaded the app expecting what the add had said about the app. When I opened the app I was astonished about what I saw. Over than 100 dollars for a 1 year corse!! Those people in your adds must be rich for they pay for a online course of piano! Ridiculous! I would barely pay 50 bucks for a lesson none the less over 100 dollars!! I’d rather go spend my hard worked money elsewhere where they offer better and CHEAPER lessons. 😒

Watch out for automatic updates to your subscription 1/5
I am expected to pay for this app that I thought was canceled The student had discontinued the course and no new one in sight. 50 dollars + that I cannot use. Just watch them carefully if you sign up.
Too bad, it is a great program.
Not that good of a game 2/5
By captoin food
I just hate how you have to buy a game pass to play songs and it’s annoying when you finished your beginner level you can’t play anything else so if you like spending money then this is a game for you but if you don’t like spending money I would not suggest this but if it was free I would give it a better review and it would be way exciting to play simply piano just make it free then it would be better please
Not good 2/5
By Luz Castro❤️
The app itself is an awesome app it is easy to learn but the only problem is that you have to pay you know some people don’t have money to be paying it would be cool if it would be free
Not good 1/5
By hannah.mccraw is my insta user
Dear simply piano I would hit the 100% right key and it would be saying I was hitting the wrong key for example when it said to hit C I would hit c and it would say I’m hitting the wrong keys so in order for me to move on I had to hit D because it thought D was the letter C please fix this because it is messing me up and I cannot learn piano I had to delete this app
No you idiots, you can’t learn a level 5 song in 5 months. 1/5
By simply piano bad
In the ad, fur Elise was played at a slower tempo compared to the actual song. Some chords were also removed in the song. Simply piano also doesn’t emphasize the importance of emotion in music. The app also doesn’t teach how volume of the piano changes over time (ex crescendo and decrescendo). All in all, this app would’ve been better if it had taught these things.
There’s no point in paying how ever many dollars a month 1/5
I just wanted to learn to play the piano and I had to pay?? It’s a waste of money just for the app to mess up from time to time
Haven’t tried it yeet
Not listening. Very frustrating 1/5
It was fine to play for about 2 mins until the app started to not listen to my notes and it was saying I was playing other notes. Very frustrating.
Yelling at my keyboard and phone 3/5
I’m a 10-year-old girl and I wanted to start playing the piano so I downloaded SimplyPiano because I saw it on a ad. And I got to do it and I did my first course and once about the third course I started to get really frustrated and don’t get me wrong I get frustrated easy but it was super frustrating. I got to play it and it was a little too fast for me since I’m just starting to learn and so I started play over and over again and I could just not play. So I just yelled and smashing my keyboard because I just cannot play it and it was so hard because I am taking lessons but I’m doing simply piano on the side at least that’s what I thought I was going to do. And I just kept yelling and smashing my keyboard because I was so frustrated because I knew I was playing the right notes because I am starting to play and I’m taking lessons. So after I was done yelling and smashed my keyboard and I actually got to play it right I got to the end and it said that I had to pay for doing all of it which I saw on the ad and I don’t see on the ad that I had to pay for anything and my mom and dad said on my phone that I’m not allowed to pay for anything like it always have to get stuff for free and so once I saw that I got super frustrated and I yelled at my phone and I literally threw it on my bed and started banging everything around me and that so now I’m going to delete it because I cannot do anything off of it basically and that just really frustrates me but along the courses it is pretty good but if you don’t want to pay anything then don’t get it.
Question about subscription 5/5
Hi! I have a quick question,
Is there a way to see when the expiration date of the subscription is?
This is a amazing app and i have finished the basics but now i have to pay to learn more?! I have barely learned anything! I would like to continue but i am not aloud to get things that cost money on my phone. I want to continue and play the piano but I cannot due to this problem(it is a problem in my opinion) so i would like this to be fixed. Thank you!
I’m broke 3/5
I would love this app except you can’t do anything without a membership. You might as well just make the app cost money if you’re going to make us give you money anyway.
This ain’t it 1/5
I wanted to see the songs they have to offer, in all the ads it makes it seem it will be so much fun. But it limits you on how much you can play in a day. At the beginning it asked me if I already knew piano and I do. I started Keaton when I was around 4 but I’m still not as good as I would like to be. I downloaded this app and it started me at the very beginning. I saw that there was an option to switch the level and when I hit it, it said that I had to switch to premium which pays $119 a year!! At this point I’m very frustrated and when I finished the first level it had a song and when I pressed the song it said I couldn’t play it. Another thing that would happen is I would hit the key it won’t register that I hit it and it would make me hit it over and over again and then make me do practice mode even though I know what I’m doing. I’m sorry but this app just stinks!
This works 5/5
I am only 11 and now can play better than ever it is easy (sometimes) but easier than most games that say “easy” never gets they are
Kind of takes you in the wrong direction... 3/5
Although you learn notes, chords, positions, songs, and more it still is doing something that doesn’t exactly help you. It’s sheet music. Sure they give you the option but 1, who actually does it, and 2, they don’t show you how. When playing courses the notes come at you and you play then when they hit the line. But in sheet music it just isn’t the same. You have no sense of timing or anything. Especially now that they bring the beta play (update ) it still doesn’t help. It would be really great if they added how you time in sheet music at the beginning. It’s totally thrown me off whenever I try and play sheet music. To me the only way I can play is if I already know the song and there is music playing in the background. This is a message mostly to simply piano themselves because I hope they could add a short course entirely based on sheet music. I think this could help a lot. I remember today I just checked the new bets play and although I knew all the notes and chords, I just couldn’t play it. I hope other people find this helpful. (You guys could also add the ticking device to beta play)

Simply piano 4/5
I love the app. I just started playing it today and I love it already! I hope to become a pianist soon!!!
My review 3/5
This is an amazing learning app but it doesn’t tell you that you have to pay to continue to learn the piano. It’s not only that it very expensive as well😕
HATED IT 1/5
I recently wanted to learn piano so hearing about the adds on YouTube I decided to check this app out. Oh boy, when you first get on everything is fine then once you have learned the first five notes and want to move on you have to pay to go onto the next course. Which might I add is STUPID I’m 14 I don’t have $120 lying around the house and Even if I do the app hardly listens to my keyboard so I’m paying this app to give me aggravation! I’m screaming “no I hit the right keys and everything you little...!” It doesn’t listen to me at all. On the bright side what little lesson I had I learned something. But come on... how many songs do you know that only uses the first five notes!
Great but sometimes but during chords... 5/5
This is a great app but during chords I’m doing the correct chord like F but it says I’m not and it frustrates me so can you plz fix that.Except for that this is a great app and love that it has songs that we like.
