This app is great
To expensive 1/5
Great idea. But 119.00 per year is outrageous... sorry but for someone that simply wants to learn how to play piano, that’s way to expensive
To expensive 1/5
So dumb. You can’t Even play after you finish your lessons. It coast about $120 A YEAR. So your better off using YouTube
Simply piano 5/5
This is Corey’s son and I love this app!
Sound detection 4/5
Great app so far
Good but doesn’t work 2/5
By 10 year old stace
I’m an expert piano player but this app won’t let me move on to the next level, could you please fix the app
Love simply piano 5/5
I think that simply piano is the best!!! It was hard at first but now I can really play. The only thing that is not so good is you have to pay weekly, monthly, or yearly but other than that, simply piano is simply great!
I love piano now! 5/5
I love your app it’s the best app in the world I used to hate piano cause I had a mean teacher 😪
Good but 3/5
So I think this is a good app for the first corse. However when you finish it, you have yo pay to get the second corse. So it’s okay but some people want to learn piano without paying.
The app is broken. Really, I play the right notes, it doesn’t recognize it. Tried this app before, had the same problem.
I feel like you shouldn’t have to go threw an entire thing just to get to the music u should be able to skip around
Best app ever! 5/5
By A n g e l S
So I recently decided to get a keyboard for myself to learn because I have a lot of free time so I looked up online what was the best app to learn piano and this one just amazed me, not only do you get free lessons but it tells you how to play it for beginners and that’s just what I needed so if you need a app to help you play piano, this one is the one! Highly recommended!!
This app is awful 1/5
I hate this app because at first it only teaches you the right hand and then after you complete the tutorial you HAVE TO PAY to start the next chapter! The ad for this app was amazing but the fact that the lied was unbelievable! I would have rather this app been 9.99 in the App Store!
Meh. Could be better 1/5
It is good to learn the basics, but I have to pay to learn more, if I need to pay for something, I’ll just go get lessons on my own, I’m not paying a bunch of money just to learn to play piano. For parents reading this, it is a good start for kids to play but if you don’t wanna pay money to get your kid better at piano, then don’t get this app.
My experience 5/5
By juji 1234
This app actually helped me a lot. Not only did it teach me the notes, but how to position my hands and back.
Good but a little confusing 4/5
I love this app! I’ve been using it because I love the piano. The only issue that I have with it is that when you are doing practice mode, the metronome and the blue line are off. The line is faster than the metronome and it’s causing to miss notes even though I’m counting correctly. But other than that, this app is awesome and i will continue to use it!
How to cancel the subscription? 1/5
By not for an advaced level
Just want to know how to end the trial?
My daughter is having the best time of her LIFE!!!!
What a terrible app 1/5
By i don,t like this terrible app
It does,t teach anything it does,t teach notes
Frustrating but a decent learning tool 3/5
This app is great, when it recognizes the notes you’re playing. It is incredibly frustrating to be constantly stuck repeating the practice mode because it didn’t recognize a note even when the correct note was played. They offer many solutions, but it doesn’t improve the experience. I can easily turn the volume up on my keyboard far enough for the app to (finally) hear the notes, but I’m afraid it upsets my neighbors. Also, I highly recommend regularly returning to the previous lessons to review because the app goes too quickly if just following along. I think this would be bested as a aid to someone already receiving lessons; I don’t believe this is a good enough tool to learn playing by itself.
Piano sound 3/5
By feedback give82 🤔
Not detecting sounds
120$ per year 1/5
It won’t give you songs if you don’t pay😱
Learning fast 5/5
Been playing for 10 minutes and wow
Great app and great customer support 5/5
I used the free 7 day trial to test out the app and see how far I could get, and I wasn’t disappointed. However, I didn’t cancel my trial in time and was charged the $119 yearly fee for a subscription. I contacted customer support and luckily they were very understanding and super helpful in getting my money back! I gained some great beginner piano skills and received a lot of kindness and zero pushiness to keep the subscription when I asked to cancel. Definitely would recommend to anyone!
Sometimes when I restart the song that I’m playing, I can’t see the notes that I’m supposed to place and it’s really annoying.
Rated 2 Stars 2/5
This app was nice at the start but then when you finish all the lessons you have to pay and get the membership to continue. I forget how much manny but it’s ridiculous
Sound recognition poor 1/5
I have already played piano in the past and have been a musician all my life, so when I get to the end of the first lesson, play the practice sections perfectly and can’t seem to get through the “duet” singers without it saying I’m missing notes that I’m playing in time with the music. When it takes me back to the metronome mode I’m not missing anything. My guess is that the music on the device from the “singer” is actually interfering with the sound the microphone is picking up. It’s such a shame because the first couple of steps seemed so promising.

I don’t understand why would you take the free trial away. Y’all just want more money
Very good with certain important shortcomings 3/5
i’ve been using the app for about 2 1/2 months now and overall I’m very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do self study for keyboard.
That being said, there are a few things that truly bug me.
Whenever you finish playing a song, the app jumps very quickly to a screen that presents you with feedback on how accurately you played. That’s dandy, but it does it so fast you don’t have a decent chance to enter the review mode that allows you to see and study your mistakes. If you don’t hit pause within milliseconds of the song ending, you lose the opportunity for review altogether and all the information about what mistakes you made is gone for good. I would like to see the app wait for the user’s OK before going to the score screen and offer the option of review explicitly and at any time before either closing the song or playing it again. Ideally, it would remember the most recent performance indefinitely so you could come back the following day or a week and review what you did the previous time.
When the app goes to the score screen, it plays a celebratory tune completely unrelated to what you just played. And it plays it over and over and over, never stopping, world without end, amen. In other words, just when you would most like to relax and think about what you just played, the app barrages you with utterly irrelevant music that completely distracts you. I would like the option to completely disable the celebratory music.
The scoring is too lax. The highest rating is three stars. it is quite possible to earn a three star rating on the basis of a performance that would be completely unacceptable musically in any conceivable context, including casual performance for friends and family. I would like a four-star or five-star system in which four stars requires 95% note accuracy and 90% or better rhythmic accuracy and five stars requires 100% note accuracy and 95% or better rhythmic accuracy. The present system could easily delude beginners into thinking they are playing far better than they are. Sooner or later the real world will painfully disabuse them of this.
I deeply miss a way to identify a segment of a song and “woodshed” that section, looping through it repeatedly at gradually increasing user-controlled tempo until the user explicitly quits “woodshed” mode.
Last but not least, the developers need to learn respect for the great masters of music of the past. Do not “improve” Bach, Handel and Beethoven with cheesy, ridiculous so-called “arrangements” that arbitrarily add drum tracks, guitar licks and who knows what other garbage to music that has stood the test of time for centuries. The original editions are readily available and are in the public domain—they won’t cost you a dime! Use them! If you can be respectful of Boyz To Men you can be respectful of Bach!
Simply Piano is Pretty Good 4/5
Simply Piano is really great and awesome but it doesn’t get all the notes I hit and I have to press my keyboard as hard and long as I can and it makes me look weird. I’m on the right mode but I just have to put it as loud as I can to actually play the notes and kinda annoys my parents ITS JUST TOO MUCH BUGS
Please fix this. 1/5
Hi. I just got this today after three years and it doesn’t seem to have gotten any better. As soon as I tried playing middle C, it says I’m playing B, and it’s not very helpful if you’re a beginner. I saw the adds for this while watching piano tutorials, and what do y’know, nothing got better. And the prices for the premium seem extra for an app that won’t even pick up the notes. I don’t mean to sound rude but these are things that need to be fixed. I hope this helps both readers for when they pick the app and the developers for the next update.
Bad bad bad 1/5
I hate how this app does not listen to my piano
Good but one problem 4/5
I love it! I have been learning a lot. Here’s the problem, I have a lot of responsibilities and I have very little time to play but I make time. Here’s the thing, I’m not going to play piano for 10 minutes and pay the next month only, to wait the entire day to play it! I suggest to make 20 exercises free and the 5 other exercises need payment.
Not good 1/5
I when in practice mode everything works fine but in normal mode if you don’t time the not to the exact millisecond it marks it wrong even if you played the right note. I can’t get past the level even though I’m doing it perfectly. It needs to have a wider range of time to let you hit the note. I deleted it within the first 45 minutes of playing the piano to it. I do not recommend unless they fix the amount of time you have to hit the note.
This game is awesome I left it a rating of five because I think this game is incredible for kids and easy way of doing the piano it really gives a good definition to what you are doing what you can do is you can play the piano you can play songs you can pack that you can print out sheets with the notes on it and this song I’ve been doing this for so long I don’t even know it also does where you can do it on the go instead of a real piano you can just go on your tablet or phone whatever you have an electronica and you can just not really type like actually push the piano buttons so when you’re in the car something you can play but this game really is good for headphones though it’s not very loud without headphones if you got a new headphones and a really loud headphones then it would really work so if I were you I download this game because it is incredible
Great but heres some problems 4/5
By mimo player
I absolutely LOVE your app but sometimes in courses you accidentally go forward and at lets say when it’s supposed to be 19, it can go to 20 and you’re done. Also i think there should be achievements. Oh and i hate all the purchases and we should be unlimited every year.
Fun to learn to play 5/5
Turns learning into a game letting you play songs you know. I’ve had mine for almost a year and I love using it, I’m amazed how much I’ve learned. Will renew
Keys were really off... 2/5
By cant find good name
I got this for my self to play, but the keys my device picked up were wayyy off from the correct ones. I am not sure wether it is my devices fault, or there’s something wrong with the app, but it was basically impossible to play.
Cool idea but it does not work 1/5
I was so happy when I was downloading it. But every time I try to play the note they are telling me to play It doesn’t work.It only works if I press the note a million times or press really hard. So all those adds are probably fake. So I would not probably recommend this app. One good thing is that it is easy to read.(I am being honest and truthful)
It’s really slow :/ 5/5
By Your Local Stalker
Im pressing E a million times and it’s not going blue. I don’t know why. I play on a electric keyboard with A1 on Solo Tone which on a electric keyboard just normal piano.
This is the worse app ever
I am confused 2/5
So when I was in the process of signing up it gave me two on can saying if I have a piano or if I don’t have a piano and I under the title of I don’t have a piano it said in small letters I do not have a piano or keyboard and I thought but I have a keyboard but I don’t have a piano there’s no option for if I have a keyboard and I know I can use a keyboard so I was just so confused. Because it was mentioned in that you could a keyboard
To young 2/5
I really wanted to learn how to play because I love singing and it’s just good to know the piano if you’re going to sing and I loved learning the beginner lesson but then you have to pay for everything else and I just can’t tsp that because I’m only a child with no job and my mom nor dad would pay for it so now I guess I’ll just have to stick to the 5 notes I know😢
So mean! 2/5
Its great! Like AMAZING! Untill you get to the part were they let you play a real song, and once you click on it, it say “with a Premium membership you get to unlock so many songs! And guess what! You can get a 7 day free trial!” Like COME OOOOOOONNNN, it makes you get all sucked in to this game and then you cant play any more with out paying 120.00 per year! WHO HAS THAT KIND OF MONEY!?
I love this app I’ve had it for almost two years now. Simply has made me progress a lot, But now I’m at a point where I think I need more advanced notes and tools. I wonder if you can tell me how to make the app more advanced ,otherwise I have to move on to something else. Hope to hear from you soon.
The plans cost too much
Omigawsh this app ROCKS 5/5
