I’ve been flirting with Skiplagged for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say for affordable flights, ease of app use and features, and flexibility when booking this is the best app I know about and been put onto hands down and what even more to me is the fact that I’ve never seen an advertisement for Skiplagged on tv or the radio or anything (because of course the app users, I,e, us, would experience higher surcharges and fees due to them paying for advertisement and radio adds etcetera)so to me that makes Skiplagged even more valuable because they value the customer not the dollar $$$ and I’m a firm believer in “a wonderful product sells itself and gets around by word of mouth “👄and to me Skiplagged is a great testament of this motto because it is indeed filled with wonder since I’ve been able to on numerous times been able to use my travel credits (which are gained from simply using the app ) towards free flights and hotel stays when ever I had gained enough credits to do these things and I even gained more travel credits for booking a flight through the app using travel credits like how awesome and wonderful is that lol haha I can go on and on about Skiplagged as one can see but all in all this is a great product and service and I will keep using this and spreading the word about it even long after I’ve become a successful and famous recording artists lol 😂😂😂

My very first time using Skiplagged and American Airlines flagged my ticket at check in. Wouldn’t let me on the flight since I I booked with Skiplagged. They made me pay $340 to “correct my ticket”. It was a 20 minute delay and I missed my flight because of it. Wouldn’t use. My $600 trip ended up costing $900

There are scammers posting through this app. Bought a ticket to Japan on a flight that’s supposed to end up in vietnam. Paid $550 and said that the ticket has been issued and confirmed. Tried to check in online in the morning and couldn’t. Turns out the airline required me to complete the whole purchase to Vietnam. Paid an extra $643 for it. Coulda bought it with hopper during the same time for$800. Thought I’d save $250, ended up paying 50%+ than hopper.

Using this service is a gamble at best. Below you will see their own advice is to know there are risks using their platform and to not reveal you use them when there’s any change to the flight and then that ticket glitches and is inaccessible on the app and the in person reps refuse to check you in or print.
Only use this service if you’re bored with your life and need unnecessary stress and hassle added to your travel itinerary. We can only hope you’ll be disappointed when your flight goes smoothly and unexpected costs don’t put you well over the cost of the normal flight.
Although, I appreciate the quick response and service fee return.
This app COST me:
1. Hundreds for a last min. Unexpected hotel room
2. Hours of nightmare treatment by Delta airlines both at the airport in person and on the phone
3. Hundreds in additional taxis
4. Not being able to attend an important work meeting
5. Unexpected and last min pet sitter money and time cost
This has been my worst travel experience in my over 20 years of flying.

Hi there,
We apologize for this inconvenience. While hidden-city comes with significant cost savings, it does come with some risks of flight changes as we outlined prior to booking.
You have two options if a route change happens:
1 - look up another itinerary on the same airline that's the exact same as your original and request to be put on that
OR
2 - politely ask for a refund since the original route you agreed to is no longer being offered and you are not satisfied with the alternative given
Do not reveal that your intent was hidden-city as the airline will not be helpful if you do.
We'll refund the Skiplagged service fee if you were charged one.

The app has a problem, and as I type my review it looks invisible. As if I’m not typing. Just blank. Anyway, it helps find cheapest flights, and just has some glitches… I also didn’t get the email for my flight. So thankfully my partner got his ticket.

I wanted to cancel my reservation because the app made me choose the wrong date and I walked in to hotel then, the hotel people are like you booked the hotel for tomorrow and I asked hotel people to cancel my reservation then, the hotel people told me to call Skiplagged to cancel your reservation. I called to Skiplagged and now you people are telling we can’t cancel the reservation.

I used to only use skip lagged to see available flights, then go to the company’s website of whatever flight I found to purchase it there but Skip lagged as made it so easy to just purchase flights on their website.

There are at least eight airports closer to me than Charlotte and the app will not let me switch my home airport to anything BUT Charlotte. So all the “loophole” flights it found are for $1k+ and they’re not even that close to me 😒 great idea but needs some UX rework, front end and back end :/
