  • Great game, one improvement suggestion 4/5

    By Shaftney
I have this game on Steam, and wish to transfer my account to my cell phone. Cannot so that with this current version, but maybe hope to see it in the future!
  • Cloud save 1/5

    By PussiLo0ver
Good game indeed but when I saw there are no cloud saves and 7 months of time passed since last update I’m sorry but that unacceptable for games these days.A game with no cloud save is no worth getting into. Literal waste of time invest if you want to change phone or whatever. I can get the updates delay but saving is cruicial to a lot of peeps.
  • Almost Perfect - Bad Reviews are Overblown 5/5

    By five28491
Do NOT listen to reviews saying that this port is bad. If you are a fan of StS on PC you will not be disappointed by the iPad version. Not perfect, but not even close to as bad as many reviews are making it out to be. I avoided buying this for months because of the numerous bad reviews saying that the iOS port was shoddy and full of issues. Maybe the game was bad early on but it’s fantastic right now. 20hr in and I am pleasantly surprised at how good the game feels. Yes, sometimes you may accidentally play a card without meaning to, but I’ve only done it when my had was full or when I was moving too quickly. I can see it being a bit tricky on phone but it’s still been fine for me. If you’re playing on an iPad you won’t have any issues. Anyways, this is the best $10 you can spend on the mobile card game genre. Look no further.
  • I’m so addicted 5/5

    By BrodieCole
Love this game through and through. I am used to playing it on controller though and have had several instances where I will sometimes accidentally play cards without meaning to with touch controls. Not a big deal, but controller support on iOS would be a game changer for me!
  • Great game, but… 3/5

    By SgtWamf
Why no 60fps setting? Other platforms with weaker hardware than my iPhone/iPad run this game at 60fps. It might drain more battery, but surely 60fps is achievable. Otherwise I love this game. I own it on two other platforms already. I suppose I will continue to play it on those.
  • Almost Amazing 3/5

    By KoryME
Long story short: almost everything about this game is great but it has a big flaw. The cards in your hand are so incredibly difficult to use, read, and a manage. I’ve lost count of the number of times when I accidentally play a card I was just trying to read or deselect. On top of that, the cards are where the iPhone swipe to close bar is. So if I ever want to minimize the app it almost always results in me playing a card. Solution: get rid of the floating cards crammed near the middle bottom of the screen. Spread them out so they’re easier to read and select. They could also make a specific spot you need to drag a card to in order to play it. That way it would allow you to read the cards, minimize the app with no down side, and only play cards you intended to.
  • Don’t buy it 1/5

    By Deselnopun
Bruh, it has less stars that free games for a reason. That means people like me spent hard earned cash and still didn’t like it. That means those 1 stars actually played the game.
  • Controller support would help with UI issues 5/5

    By Dj Dvell
    Still enjoying the game!
  • Text too small! 3/5

    By Bionic hairy monkey
What is this, a game for ants?!? The text is waaay too small. I was super excited to see this available for my phone. I immediately purchase the game and started playing but my eyes are straining to see the small text on the cards. I wish the text was bigger and the cards were easier to select. There’s vital real estate on the screen that is not being used efficiently.
  • FPS Needs improvement 3/5

    By Div835
I absolutely love this game and i’ve got it on PC and Xbox but it so desperately needs an option to bring the FPS cap higher, the gameplay is still just as good but the quality of the gameplay is deeply effected by the low FPS the game is capped at, even on my Iphone 11 it looks choppy which it definitely shouldn’t considering the capabilities of this phone
  • Great, but major flaws 2/5

    By wasp604
The game is pretty darn good, but... no cloud save. If you ever redownload the game, your saves go poof. Gone. And there's no way to transfer or keep anything.
  • Controller support 4/5

    By NickElkins
Unfortunately there’s no controller support :( LOVE the game on the xbox though!
  • Amazing game! 5/5

    By Marsxz
I love this game but I would love for it to have controller support!
  • mod 5/5

    By KawhiGuo
    We need the mod!!!!!!!!!!
  • Weird lag on my phone 3/5

    By Calebong531
I tried android and pc version of the game but none of them have this weird lag. Plz do something about it
  • Incredible game, sluggish performance and bugs 4/5

    By atomic1332
This game should be super smooth on my iPhone 13 Pro Max considering how powerful the chip is and the 120hz display but it feels like it’s capped at 30 fps. Does this game still get updates on iOS? Hopefully they patch it so it takes advantage of the 120hz display. There also seem to be some bugs when selecting cards where it sometimes doesn’t register and you have to repeat your inputs. The game itself is amazing. Be prepared to spend hundreds of hours on this.
  • Painfully imbalanced 1/5

    By Zeke342
This game is unreasonably difficult at times. Even with the absolute best deck imaginable you can still be absolutely rolled by imbalanced enemies groupings and bosses constantly summoning adds that can hit 15+ consistently. An enemy with 200+ health should not be passively earning 3 strength every turn.
  • Rip off 1/5

    By CYCONAUT
You get one star for lying about the price of the game. States 9.99 Charged over 25$ I’ll be fighting your charge with my cc company just so u know. Game is not for me. Horrible game ply controls. Graphics are horrible too
  • Solid port and quality game 5/5

    By conethegamer
One of my favorite games to waste time on and die in, even if you don’t win, learning the enemy patterns and making ridiculous synergies is still a delight to do. I have yet to run into bugs and have played the game a ton on PC and it seems like a solid port. Would recommend.
  • Perfect Game For New and Veteran Players 4/5

    By Lame696969
The only reason I did not give this game 5 stars was due to issues with accidentally discarding potions, and the clunky feeling when playing cards sometimes. The combat is simple, but can become complex in an easy to understand way. The game challenges you, but when you learn it the feeling of winning is very rewarding. Gameplay:10/10 UX/UI: 6/10
  • Great port 5/5

    By Frustrated ex-fan
I played this iOS port about a year ago and it was rough. Redownloaded recently and it is much, much better. Great game, great port.
  • Very bad port. 1/5

    By Michaelscott23
Horrible frame rate issues on a brand new iPhone 13 Pro with a 120hz display. Get around 30fps for a card game. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and lost all of my unlocks for every character. Why would that not be saved?
  • Fantastic game 5/5

    By Abdevkdkf
Idk why 4.1 stars game has no flaws, exciting no adds and you can play for hours
  • Best game In da world 5/5

    By Sir Spooky
Put 129 hours in to it, that explains it.
  • Need Cloud Saves 4/5

    By Escapeists
    mulriple devices need cloud saves
  • We need save sync 4/5

    By Boogroo
Perfect game but I hope it can sync my saves among different iOS devices.
  • C 3/5

    By estefasto
I don’t know if I love it, or if I’m just addicted. It’s so toxic, but I keep coming back.
  • Love the game BUT 4/5

    By Phartsy
    It needs controller support!
  • Can’t recommend enough 5/5

    By Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaarrrrrrr
One of my favorite games of all time. I’ve been playing since 2019 on steam and have around 400 total hours combined from steam, iOS, and Nintendo switch. It’s a hefty price especially for an app but it’s the full fledged game that costs $25 on all other platforms so it really is a steal. The game runs great and the iOS port is nothing short of exceptional. Support indie developers!!
  • Controller support 5/5

    By RosarianRed
Please provide controller support for backbone!
  • Good. Could have been great. 3/5

    By SVesely
First and foremost: not having iCloud sync for saves is baffling. I play on my iPad. I want to play on my phone when I’m out- but there’s no sync. In 2021. Again: baffling. The feel of the game is off. I haven’t played this on PC but have to imagine the cards expand on mouseover. Absent a mouse, having to touch the cards to read them when there’s plenty of unused real-estate on the screen is fiddly. Dragging the cards doesn’t feel good- even with the arrows. More than once I’ve dragged the wrong card by accident- this has never happened to me in ESO Legends or Gwent. I’ll keep playing because the core game loop is fun. But a few quality-of-life improvements could make this a killer 5-star game- and not just a “that had some serious potential…”
  • To the gamer in you 5/5

Quite a good ripping good time Daily missions are perfect and im a guy who loves his wife
  • Best playable card game 5/5

    By tyegolden
Been addicted to this game for about a year and now i can FINALLY listen to music and play. Ive give 5 stars to other things and i feel bad i did so: this is a 5 star app.
  • Great game, awful port 1/5

    By iestynne
This game was PERFECT for mobile. But the port is unforgivably awful. It's obvious they never played the port and never got anyone to test it for them. The most basic and fundamental things like selecting which card to play simply DOESN'T WORK! (you know, kinda important, when one wrong move can kill your painstakingly cultivated 45-minute run). Such a shame, this will give players a bad impression of a fantastic game and reflects badly on MegaCrit. They should have paid attention.
  • Mmmmmm 3/5

    3n a half
  • Eh 3/5

    By Noobsauce26
Fun for maybe 3 or 4 hours. Then it’s the same old thing over and over. No endgame. Worth maybe half as much.
  • Epic game 4/5

    By ct123210
Well I’ve played for quite a lot while on mobile it’s a great game would have given 5 stars if not for the update that zooms everything in while it’s is nice it’s pretty buggy now a lot of the text and stuff don’t line up and it feels as if it came out of nowhere if they we’re gonna make a update that impacts the look of everything is to do a full job of it or not at all.
  • Can’t open it 5/5

    By honestly nithing
An amazing game that I play 24/7 and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but I can’t open the game it loads up then kicks me from it
  • Horrible controls 2/5

    By orixxxxxa
$10 for a game with fxxxking horrible touch screen controls. An entire run can be completely changes by one touch, it’s extremely frustrating.
  • Addicting and easy on battery 5/5

    By Coryop
This game is extremely fun to play. As of Nov 2021 it runs like butter, and it’s pretty easy on the battery life too. Highly recommend.
  • Please add controller support. 5/5

    By brushing1985
The game is great but could definitely benefit from connecting to a controller or backbone.
  • The game doesn't work 1/5

    By LawlzFoDayz
Said it was for iOS 9 and up. I have iOS 9.3.5 on an iPad 3 and it only crashes or keeps exiting the game almost immediately after the 1st image I see. I need a way to fix it or I will need a refund completely for a product that doesnt work at all.
  • A good port of a great game 4/5

    By heybutimafungi
Slay the Spire is one of my favorite rogue-lite style games on PC and this is a stable port, however it seems as if animations are locked at ~60 fps (maybe less?) even on the iPhone 13 Pro. Since the PC version has native support for 120 and 240 hertz refresh rates, it would be great to see the app updated with the latest version of the API to support 120 frames per second. With that added it would easily be a 5* port for me.
  • Text too small 2/5

    By v10sey
I also purchased the steam version, the mobile version didn't have any optimization. The UI should be simple and touchable for mobile version.
  • Controller support please. 4/5

    By Thee.TNT
I know it seems silly for a mobile phone, but I really like playing this on Xbox with controller. iPad would be awesome too.
  • Controller support wen? 4/5

    By Its DTK
I’ve played hours of this game across different platforms and just patiently wait for controller support for mobile.
