Don’t like the subscription model for this app. To expensive and selling my data. Deleting
  • Loses syncing 3/5

    By wes42415
Works great until your watch dies while your sleeping. Hasn’t really worked since then, I have to put my sleep times in manually for the last five nights now.
  • Interesting 5/5

    By akjuliens
I find this app helpful, interesting and a bit fun. Haven’t used long enough to really recommend. But what could it hurt to try it out. I’ll try to update my review after more time in using this app. Good luck.
  • Makes No Sense 1/5

    By iLikeSlurpees
Last 5 days I’ve slept between 96 and 99% of my goal each day, but the 3 day sleep target goal has never gone above 59%. It’s a mystery.
  • Subscriptions, subscriptions.... 1/5

    By jdoumecq
Tired of living in a world surrounded by subscriptions left, right and center!!! Tired of being manipulated to grab my money...
  • Not my idea 4/5

    By elmocolese
My kids got me this watch because I had issues that could be heart related. It is a good way to check your rhythm at any time and monitor your heart rate. I have found it easy to use and fascinating. I use a C-PAP machine. Now I also monitor my sleep with my watch. As a bonus I also get information on my daily activities. I recommended this watch to others, in fact, I have done so more than once. This is a really valuable device.
  • STILL doesn’t track sleeping heart rate 1/5

    By AppUser086
After staying with this app over countless updates, I’m giving up. I have a Series 3 watch (so not the oldest thing around). This app doesn’t consistently log sleep time, and NEVER logs sleeping heart rate. I’ve complained about it before, and nothing changed. Come on guys. Either fix it, or just go home.
  • Awesome app 5/5

    By 1975-2019
This app is really helping me track the outcome of my sleep patterns. I also used this information we I had my recent physical at my PCP... very useful
  • Very inaccurate 2/5

    By Karnzo
I’m not sure how this has such high reviews. The results are always way off. I usually charge my watch for an hour or so before bed. After I put it back on I am always active for at least a half an hour before I fall asleep, but the app records my sleep time from when I put it on the charger. So the results add the charging time to my sleep. Every morning I have to edit the start time and have to guess when I actually fell asleep. If the heart rate monitor isn’t showing a pulse it shouldn’t be recording it as sleep. I am using an Apple Watch 4.

Recurring billing for this? Um, no.
  • Not automatic? 1/5

    By qwinnuh
This states it automatically tracks my sleep. I wear my watch to bed every night, but when I look at the data, there is never anything there!
  • Update 1/5

    By alyo9
Since the update I can’t get past the “How rested do you feel” screen. So I can’t check anything I just keep getting errors.
  • Doesn’t read Apple Watch 1/5

    By aa0128
Wore my Apple Watch for weeks at night and it never recorded a single thing. Tried restarting the app and redownloading it but it never worked.

I have rebooted, reinstalled the app, troubleshooted. Deleting it now

It's a good app with quite a bit of valuable information. Especially for us insomniacs!
  • Very good app 5/5

    By bigdaddynyc2001
Works well and consistently connects to my sleep as expected.
  • Don’t waste your time! 1/5

    By CoDy1265
This app is worthless... told me nothing about my sleep. Basically records the time you go to bed and the time you wake, nothing else.
  • Wonderful app but.... 2/5

    By rsd22
But the monthly cost is somewhat ridiculous. I mean it’s a great app. Simply love it. But cmon. I pay $19.99 yearly for a pretty extensive workout app that I’m in for 90 minutes every morning, also during the day, and again at night. I would pay $50 for this workout app. To pay over $30 for a sleep app that I look at once for all of 30 seconds, albeit is a great app, is rather steep and out of My boundaries for an app purchase. Auto Sleep is almost just as good and I think I paid all of $4.00 for the app. I don’t recall. I much prefer SleepWatch over AutoSleep but I default to AutoSleep since I pay so much on app subscriptions I can’t justify paying the premium cost for SleepWatch. Great app just WAY too expensive. Sorry. Two stars for the outrageous premium cost.

  • Now it’s Perfect 5/5

    By stevenraustin
I loved the app. I was not a fan of the previous pricing model, and the lack of yearly subscription option. Now that that is resolved 5 stars. It’s probably one if the best tracking apps available.
  • More marketing than good sleep track. 1/5

    By JMRBR
The app doesn't capture the motion to have an accurate sleep, also the information at the Health app, it doesn't show the full time in bed, the information is break in peaces. They can't write the sleep tracking in the right way at the Health app, and is very "basic" for an sleep app, I think the developer can benchmark with other apps, like "Pillow" and "AutoSleep" how to write the information at the Health app.
  • Non invasive and simply helpful 5/5

    By m.Greenup
This app is helpful and non invasive. It's common I forget I even have it but I can come back and see the data collected and it works great for me.
  • The Best App 5/5

Good job BodyMatter Team! Pls just keep it the app up to date! Thx!
  • New update 1/5

    By Aylaface
The new update won’t even open anymore. Please fix bugs
  • Fairly accurate. 4/5

    By Schlee
Gives a general guideline for sleep activity but will sometimes count me as asleep when I’m actually awake (don’t judge me) and awake when I’m asleep. I like that you can add hoe you’re feeling at the beginning and ends of your wake cycle and it never fails to show my “awake” nightly routine at midnight when I check my daughter’s blood sugars.
  • Thankful 5/5

    By Tamazs
When I switched it to my Apple Watch from my Garman I was disappointed that I did not have the ability to check my sleep pattern. Thankful that I found this app.
  • Keeps me on track 5/5

    By benjachino
I’ve been using sleep watch for about 6 months now, it’s been interesting see the clear difference in sleep patterns when I don’t workout or stay up late or drink alcohol. It’s also helped a lot in setting a pattern of sleep time
  • Does NOT track as Accurately as Fitbit 1/5

    By MafiaGal
Would give no stars if I could. Wore a Fitbit for two years and switched to the Apple Watch and this app and does Not track!! It seems it just gives you random “tracking”. Only “tracks” light, restful and awake when Fitbit tracks deep, REM, light and awake. Doesn’t recognize when I fall asleep until 3 or 4 hours later! Could go on and on, don’t waste your time downloading this app!!
  • Age restriction 2/5

    By junkboxcat
I’m 14 years old and I just recently got an Apple Watch. I was very curious about how many hours I was sleeping and ect. I heard that this app is phenomenal and I wanted to try it. Apparently you need to be 16 years old to create an account. I don’t think it’s fair just because I’m not 16. I would understand if I’m like 12 and you need to be 13/14. At the age of 13 you can create a social media account. Why can’t you create an account just for tracking sleep

    By kay8699
I got the app and had my apple watch on when I went to sleep that night as it suggested. I woke up the next day and nothing happened. There was NO sleep data in the app. I checked back later in the day and STILL nothing. (I DID make sure I switched the little thing on in the health app to allow it to do whatever) So I saw it suggested wearing the watch more snuggly which I did, to the point it was uncomfortable to sleep in (It was only a notch up, but still uncomfortable) I woke up this morning to more no sleep data. It’s just super frustrating. I got bad sleep because of the watch and STILL no sleep data.
  • Best app ever 5/5

    By MAJED35
I hope the one-time purchase will be the best , thank you.
  • Not happy with iap 2/5

    By Heftybags
Don’t get me wrong this app is decent the sleep algorithms are good and it’s pretty accurate at detecting sleep times it’s right behind AutoSleep in terms of best sleep trackers for the watch. What really disappoints me is the iap, I paid for this app, I share data and provide extra data by answering questions now I’m suppose to pay more on what I was charged for the app to access extra information. I know the app has changed models to free with iap a while ago but it never really bothered me until more and more data is being added to the subscription.
  • Super easy 5/5

Works well with my Apple Watch, and it’s automatic which is great
  • Ehh 1/5

    By Taylorgirl614
My app hasn’t recorded any activity for the past week... I’ve been wearing my Apple Watch to bed since I got it and I didn’t have any problems before so I’m thinking it’s a software problem. Please someone fix this or help me!
  • Awesome app 5/5

    By Lolamae00
I love this app and I love even more that it tracks my sleep automatically!!
  • Enjoy this app 5/5

    By Nat32788
    Helps me track sleep well!
  • Very cool 5/5

    By tmeeks831
I have the free version and I’m really enjoying the information it gives me like my resting heart rate and an estimate of how much restful sleep I’m getting. I’ve changed my workouts to earlier in the day and I’m trying to develop a better bedtime routine to optimize my sleep.
  • Not accurate 1/5

    By KatieFaye211
This app is not even in the slightest accurate. On days I know I only got 4 hours of sleep due to tossing and turning it says I got 10 hours. I’m bummed.
  • Much better than expected 5/5

    By App user_newguy
I’ve tried a few Fitbit sleep tracking systems but SleepWatch and the Apple Watch combination is by far the best. It collects, sorts and presents an impressive array of data: heart rate and sleep depth are to be expected. It adds heart rate dip and a few other metrics then records them over time for tracking sleep trends. This is an outstanding sleep measurement system.
  • Helpful! 5/5

    By Mnt mum
I love this app! My daughter has been using it for 6 months and when I got an Apple Watch it was the first app she told me to download. The other day it alerted me that I get my most restful sleep if I go to bed by 10:15. I love that it knows that and informs me. I feel like I’m really keeping a good account of my sleep cycles, now. Much better than the Fitbit tracker!
  • Interesting facts 5/5

    By Morgamuffl
I have not been sleeping well for a few years now. Having SleepWatch now helps me track my sleep to see what I can do to improve it.
  • Starting to not give accurate reading 3/5

    By Cejoy1
The app worked pretty good at first but now it is so inaccurate! It is not recording all of my sleep time! It doesn’t add in if I take a nap during the day nor does it track all my hours of sleep at night.
  • Happy 5/5

    By skinnybones2013
Working well. Getting a great response from the people that work there.
  • Not accurate and takes forever to sync to iPhone 3/5

    By lesliechen
I have no idea why this app and my iPhone sync so slow recently and often collects no data at all. Maybe they want me switch to their new premium paid version. And the approximately sleeping quality is way too high. It shows most of my Deep sleep is around 98%. I have no idea how they calculate this because I wake up and fall asleep pretty often(Kids issue).tried to set the different sensitivity level but the result are the same.
  • Favorite sleep app 5/5

    By Eshap21
I have tried three different sleep apps and this is by far my favorite. Simple to use and I like how it will notify you with different things as you accomplish things. I had another sleep app that I paid for and it was so hard to figure out. This one is great!
  • Could track better 4/5

    By h214414e214b369
I’m thekinda guy who wakes up a lot in his sleep and the app will actually track it as 2-3 separate sleeping sessions rather than total amount slept. Could fix that
  • Love it 5/5

    By Montini5
Works great. Helps me keep track of my sleep with ease.
  • It used to be good, but now it misses a lot 2/5

    By brandon1123
This app used to be good but now it misses a lot. I’ve seen sleep be logged and then later disappear.. I even changed the sensitivity and then it logged too much sleep.
  • Like 4/5

    By Okaybutme
I like this app a lot. I like to see how active I am and how hard I sleep. But I don’t like that if I don’t check the app for a day it won’t keep my data. I have to check it everyday in order for it to keep that day of data. So say I wear my watch to sleep every night even if it’s fully charged. If I forget to check the app for 3 days. It won’t keep that data. That needs to change. I can’t always remember to check the app and if I don’t check it I lose my 7 day tracking.
