    There was an issue with our order. Now, while that is in no way their fault, how they handle it is. I will say they were extremely friendly. However, you cannot tell your customers they will receive a refund and then turn around and charge them again for the item they were being refunded for!! I even sent screen shots of my bank statements to them. They did return the second charge. Never received the refund. Bad business.

    I paid over $50 and got half of my order. The customer service via the app said the shop wasn’t “offering anything”. The pizza shop said he’s not responsible, to tell the app. No one is responsible when your order goes wrong. Still waiting on a fix.

    I have used this app for some time and thought it was great until I had a problem. I received a damaged/inedible pizza, so messaged customer service. They offered me a coupon for the price of the pizza which I could only use at the same restaurant and had to use it within 30 days. When I said this was unacceptable, I was left hanging until the chat was closed due to time out. I eventually made a complaint and was reimbursed, but it was not worth the aggravation. I deleted the app.

    “Download the app to track your order,” proceeds to signup for another unnecessary app and enter my information, just for it to not let me track the order I downloaded the app for in the first place 😑 thanks for that misleading information. Don’t be like me, the app won’t let you track an order that’s been placed already like the texts the send state. I’ll be deleting this app. Pointless.

    I downloaded this app to order pizza at a local place. I selected pickup. Order was $65.55. I get to the restaurant to learn that if I had ordered over the phone the price would have been $35.00. What kind of inflation is this? You make an app and inflate the pizza prices for individuals and take advantage of people. I contacted customer support, only to be told “we apologize.” Apology not accepted. I will not be using the app anymore. Sorry I was taken advantage of

    About 6 months ago I would have given them 5 stars, these days, not so much. They get wrapped around their own policy and become rigid about taking responsibility for their own screw ups. Will be deleting the app of my phone. Once I found out they’re part of Door Dash it made sense though.

    I was ordering from this app for the last couple of years and on August 1, 2022, some genius decided to move the reward points up to $30 of spending. Meaning you have to spend $30 to get one pizza point. I’m only one person and I’m not usually going to spend $30 which means this app has become null and void for me and probably for many people single like me.It’s a shame because it may take a while for Slice to notice this, but I definitely will not use an app that requires me to spend $30 on extra pizzaria food that I’m not gonna eat just to get a pizza point. I’ll just use Honey discounts and call it a day. SLICE… you just lost a piece of my wallet pie. ✌🏽

    I ordered some lunch for one of the offices at my company. My card was charged and a confirmation was emailed. Pizzas were supposed to show up around 12:00-12:10. At around 12:20 or so, I checked the app to see if I could find out an ETA, and the app had no record of my order. At 12:45 I called them and asked what was going on. They said my order was canceled. I never received an email or any notification that my order was canceled. I asked them why it was canceled and they said it was due to weather. This was in Los Angeles and the weather was 85° and not a cloud in the sky, so that was clearly a lie. The person I was talking to was clueless, and was unable to provide any type of solution. She just said that she would refund my money back. In the meantime, I had an office full of people waiting for lunch. Needless to say, I will never use this app again and will be deleting it from my phone as soon as I submit this review.

    So disappointed in this app. Used to be great. Easy way to order pizza plus when you ordered a certain amount of times you earned free pizza points to redeem for a free pizza. Went to redeem my free pizza and I had to spend an additional $17.50 for a total of $30 just to redeem a free pizza doesn’t seem free to me when you have to spend money just to get it.

I had to call and ask where my food was. 20+ minutes after my order was due to arrive I was told that they didn’t have a driver available to pick up my order…. Really?!? I was told I would have to wait 24 hours for a refund after I was asked to go pick it up myself… 24 hours later they are asking for another 12 hours. What a joke. Stay away

    Ordered a pizza at a local place via their website , with Econ provided by slice I guess. Made a small mistake, wanted to cancel the order… literally 1 minute after ordering. Slice refused to cancel it and insisted I change it to delivery. So now I get extra expense and janky 3rd party delivery. Worst food app I’ve used so far, and despite the claim of reasonable fees, it’s just as much as any other app. Weak.

    Consistently 15 to 20 minutes later than their “latest predicted delivery time” and will say on their tracking feature on the app that your food has been delivered when… it has not. Also… customer service reps are pretty dismissive.

    Order 8 pizza’s from the same place and when it came time to get my free pie I couldn’t because The pizza I ordered had a different name than “cheese pizza” if the pizza has any other name besides “cheese pizza” even if it’s a cheese pizza it don’t count. It’s cool, I’d rather pay 19$ for the pie rather than 22$ anyway.

    Ordered two pizzas, soup and Arnold Palmer(ice tea and Lemonade. Everything was fine till I tried my drink which obviously didn’t have any lemonade. Contact app. Lady just argued with me saying that the place was positive they gave me a Arnold Palmer(lemonade and tea). I told the lady that I even had my wife try it and she didn’t taste any lemonade. Nothing was fixed. I won’t be using this app again.

    Used Slice once and it was fine. The second time I used it (tonight), the delivery person called me after the delivery later time and said he did not have my order. We had yo drive to the pizzeria and pick up our own order. Customer support was useless in resolving the issue, they have not offered to refund our service fee, tip or provide us with anything for our inconvenience. They just told me they needed to follow their procedures and then ended the chat and told me to start a new chat if I had any additional questions. So, if you have kids to eat on pizza night, based on my experience, this app only works 50% of the time snd you may need to overpay for delivery pizza you end up needing to go pickup yourself. Waste of time. Waste of money. Crappy service.

    App works perfectly fine and is convenient for the one pizza place by me that is on it. But the utmost frustrating part is they constantly send push notifications and emails about coupons for a day and every time I’ve tried to use the coupon code is ‘invalid.’ Once I’ve gone through the motions of picking out food, credit info, etc and I get this invalid message it is beyond frustrating.

    To make a long story short: I ordered 70$ worth of food at a restaurant from this app (AND paid on the app) My boyfriend went to go pick up the order. The order was missing food/ the restaurant insisted on charging us. After back and forth, the restaurant let us go with the food due to my confirmed bank statement. I contacted slice due to this. They offered nothing for my troubles. Not even an apology. They simply sent me an email saying “ Punctuality comes above all in the way to achieving success, but at times even after putting all efforts, things might go out of hand due to circumstances. “ I am apauled at their lack of customer service/ accommodation. I would love to use an app that appreciates and values my commitment as a user however I think I’m just another number to them. In the future I’ll be using an app that ASSURES my money and order are correct / go to the right place / I want assurance that my meal is paid for ONLY once.

    I paid for pizza that got picked up by slice but was never delivered to me! They have emailed me twice asking how my pizza/delivery was, and I’ve told them I never received it. I asked for a refund and have not heard anything back! It’s now been several days. I guess the slice driver couldn’t get my pizza to my hotel that was literally across the street….and yes, I couldn’t walked and gotten it myself, but I’m from out of town and didn’t want to walk late at night by myself. So….I say the customer service is horrible, thanks for taking my money and not delivering my food! I hope you enjoyed my dinner!!

    I’ve ordered from slice only three times so far, all from my same local pizzeria I live above. My first order ever (ordered Sep 3) included the lunch size Caesar salad, which I ordered and received properly. My second order ever (ordered Sep 19) included the regular size Caesar salad, which I ordered and received properly. However, my third order (ordered Sep 21) included the regular size Caesar salad and I received the lunch size improperly instead. I tried to resolve this with customer service agent “Ally” and was told over and over there was only a regular size Caesar option, which I then provided them proof through screenshots that there were lunch and regular salad options. I also provided a photo of the size comparison I had from today’s salad to the tin from the salad from this past Monday, the sizes being drastically different. Despite this, Ally was unable to provide me any consolation, refund for my $3.50 that I lost out on, despite having proof that the restaurant gave me the wrong item. They also ended the chat and didn’t provide a ticket number even though they said they’d remain in contact with me about this issue. It’s unbelievable that a business and app could be run like this and I don’t expect to use this app in the future unless something changes. Horrible!

    Placed an order and had 3 out of 4 items arrive completely wrong. Explained that the items descriptions were not accurate and less to 4 out of 6 people not having an edible food for them to eat. Attempted to call the restaurant to see if they could remake the food and response was there was nothing they could do and was told the chef probably didn’t read it properly. Decided to message customer service and after 48+ hours finally figured out that Slice can not actually do anything when issues arrive and will always side with the business. I understand that mistakes happen but for the restaurant to not be held accountable or be forced to fix extremely simple issues especially when they deal with food diets and allergies to prevent future problems like this makes it clear to the consumer that they only care about the businesses. I will be sticking to other food ordering platforms that value customers.

    I’ve used slice for two years. Initially the service was great. Over the last few months the app has failed on delivery again and again. Orders take 1.5-2 hrs. They give estimate windows of 40 min to hour yet it takes closer to 1.5 to two for places within one mile. Use Uber eats, yelp or any other delivery app, this is a bad one.

    Unlike every other food delivery app, Slice has ZERO authority over the restaurants on it. Delivery 50 minutes late and Slice did absolutely nothing about, no discount, refund, or even knowing where the delivery person was. Will definitely not be using this app ever again unless it is able to remedy unacceptable situations like this.
