Won’t connect. 3/5
I bought this app a couple months back and it worked very well for a month or two, but now it won’t connect at all. It finds my tv, but won’t connect.

All it does is buffer and lag. And when it finally does connect to my tv, it only functions for a matter of seconds before I’m so frustrated I just turn off the tv and sit in silence.
Also why would the app give me the option to turn on/off the tv if all it can do is turn it off?
And if you want simple navigation or typing you have to shill $4 to the app?! Are you kidding me?! It’s menu controls on a free app! How desperate do you have to be the get some gullible suckers money in your wallet?
It works well once it connects but a lot of the time I have to load multiple times before it locates my television

This app will only let you use the arrow buttons if you upgrade to pro (which means you can’t use it as a remote in the regular version). Personally, I think that is cruddy.

Purchased the pro version of the app just to find out the trackpad doesn’t work whatsoever. Would not recommend.

Worked great until I changed my WiFi password. The app is now forever stuck trying to log onto my WiFi with the wrong password and there is no way to reset or get to setup menu b/c it’s stuck trying to login. Deleted the app and reinstalled and it still stuck with the old WiFi password.

I usedanother Samsung remote app and paid $6.99 to remove the ads and it never worked! It would disconnect from the WiFi while using it and constantly. It is sad because before the updat it wasn’t like that. I paid the $3.99 for this and it is a dream!! So many options And features and never disconnects while using. Sometimes cheaper is better!!!

I bought the the pro version many many months back and now when I try to use certain buttons it’s wants me to buy it again! This just started. It’s not that great of an app anyhow, you have to scroll page after page to get to a certain buttons of the remote. It seems like all the main ones could be on the same page.

Samsung's software is so bad, I really wish North Korea invades and puts an end to the abomination that is Samsung.
I just bought a $1500 Q7F TV and half the software functions for mobile phone-TV connections don't work.
The smarthings app doesnt connect (tried 802.11 b/g/n settings and wide band also tried LAN cable)
On this remote app you first need to disable HDMI anynet and set the access setting to always ask to allow the phone device to become remote.
The android app is no better and you can see the inconsistency in the UX and poorly placed buttons or missing features across the boards.
Samsung - overpriced poor quality hardware, worse software, terrible support, no vision of future.

I really liked the app as it replaced my broken remote. I have a 2012 E Series Samsung tv and it connected for the first couple days and then stopped connecting. I also bought the full version to be able to use all the features but whats the point of having the app if I can’t use it. Please fix this

How to constantly give my phone permission to connect from my tv with the Samsung remote, when I got this app to watch tv without it!!! I have to reconnect every time I open the app.

You have to use the TV controller to select “allow” every time you launch the remote app on your phone. What’s the point if you have to use the tv remote to activate the app??? Lame.

I installed it once on my TV and once the TV updated, the remote wouldn’t connect tot he TV any longer. There isn’t any troubleshooting tools. So it’s pretty much useless now.

Since the connection issue fix came down, I now have to authorize the app on the TV every single time I open the app, basically rendering it useless. Once connected though, it works great.
I just paid for the full app and my tv did an update and the app will no longer connect to my tv!! Please tell me how to fix the issue!
