It gets the job done for sure. Only problem I have is when the app says my tv is off even though it’s on or says it’s offline even though the tv is plugged up. If this little bugs were fixed, this app would be 5 stars.

Cannot upload photos to the Frame 1/5
I just purchased a brand new Frame specifically for the purpose of uploading my photos as Samsung advertises. Smart Things and the Frame are both connected to the same network and smart things is telling me they are not. The option to upload my photos is grayed out. I am extremely unhappy about this as this is the reason I bought the tv. I decided to try to upload photos from a USB I had and there is only one option for a mat, not multiple as advertised. And the photo is cannot even be displayed without the mat. Very unhappy, hoping Samsung can fix this.

We have a few Samsung smart appliances and while the app connects to them, anytime it needs to “connect to server” it says it cannot. The laundry washer offers “recipes” for different clothing items and yet I can’t use them. If there are updates for the appliance, I don’t know because I can’t connect to the server.

It’s nice to be able to use your phone as a remote also, in case you can’t find your remote. App is pretty intuitive and easy to use.

I went out on a Friday morning because I thought my daughter was sneaking out of the house. My Friday night and motion detectors in the house. If I wanted a regular alarm system it would’ve taken a long time. Found out my daughter was sneaking out of the house. I have now installed cameras and I have to admit easy to install and a wonderful product. I am extremely happy.

This app is extremely frustrating. There is so much potential with this idea, but the app just misses the mark in so many ways. I mainly use this app for triggering scenes for my Hue lighting, but the functionality is so limited, and the experience is so jarring, that it makes me want to trash the whole app. Trying to dim/change groups of lights (Ex: all 4 of my kitchen can lights, 4 living room lights, 5 basement lights, etc) is infuriating. Basic things like setting timers for various groups of lights while I’m on vacation is so much more cumbersome than it needs to be. Who, realistically, takes action on one light at a time In their house, especially if you have fully invested in Hue lighting in your entire house? Please think about how your users actually want to interact with their smart devices, and design the app to aid with common tasks they are trying to accomplish every day. This will make this app useful vs cumbersome.

Easy to use when my kiddos lose every control around lol
Doesn’t work on my iPhone 11. The app is VERY SLOW. Once I got signed into my Samsung acct and got to add device it went to the line up of devices and froze up. It would however scan for devices and when I chose the device I wanted it did NOTHING (but waste my time)! I could have set it up faster by doing it manually. Good job!!

I like the app but is it being hacked . My channels are being changed weirdly and it only works ever so often . It’s a good app but I find I have my remote next to me more often because of the issues .
I can connect all my devices and can send messages through the fridge back and forth to my wife lol things that need to be done or just joking around

Once connection issues were resolved by locating smart hub closer to the products and not closer to the router, all issues seem to went away. Works well with my ring doorbell, kwikset lock and Honeywell thermostats. One star off due to it not having full functionality/capabilities of the products individual apps.

I delayed installing thinking it was gonna be a long drawn out install. It was quick and easy and adding devices is so easy.

This is really funny. I thought u can use your phone keyboard to type witch would be 10 times easier but no. They give a some sort of a touch pad that u have to move to find letters on tv. Crazy.

I am getting very frustrated because my son-in-laws Samsung android phone mirrors Netflix onto my Samsung TV and we don’t even have an Internet,And we are able to watch Netflix, I tried this with my iPhone X and it did not work so I had to go out and spend $50 on a lightning to HDMI cord To mirror my phone to my screen which it did but now I have to have 205MB of speed just to play the Netflix because it keeps shutting off! How is this possible that an androidCan play Netflix on my TV but my iPhone X cannot even after I buy a lightning to HDMI cord?I am so extremely frustrated because this is a brand new iPhone and a brand new Samsung six TV and the smart things app is doing nothing.Why does my Iphone have to have 205 Mb Of speed-but his android does not?All I wanna do is watch Netflix on my TV through my phone like he does, why can I not do this with a $600 phone?

It’s been a year. Basic but critical functionality missing. Lots of promises as far as ‘update soon’ but ultimately... nothing.

Great app interfaced really well with my whole entertainment system despite it being outdated.
The last update broke the app. Works fine on me 65. Use to work fine on my 55. After the last update it won't connect to my UN55K6250AFXZA. Keeps telling me that I need to update my tv when there is no update. Yet the app was working fine. Fix this please. What info do you need.

I’m able to use my Samsung TV seamlessly with this App. Switching between existing apps I have controlling the entire interface right from my phone.

First used the app last May when I installed a new TV and sound bar. Everything worked fine. Yesterday I replaced the sound bar with a better model. Worked for over an hour trying to use the app to establish internet connection. Nothing worked. Finally reloaded the app and it immediately made the connection. Had no reason to believe app was out of date. I’m gracious at 4 stars.
