SI was more than happy to take my money for a single issue, but I cannot view it now. App is still garbage...
Where is the ability to restore pre-2014 issues?

Like everyone else I’m a print subscriber and I cannot access current issues on the app. The most “recent “ issue in my library is from March. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app, reset my password, and synced my library but nothing ever changes. There are way too many people with this exact same problem for way too long. This app is useless.

It’s now August 27 and I haven’t received an issue of SI since the July 29 issue. My subscription has been paid up and is still in effect This is not good service Don’t understand what has happened to this once reliable App

Can’t access current issues after renewal 2/5
I recently renewed my subscription for print and digital. Acct # 3682206648
I can’t get the current issue on the SI app. All the previous issues are there.
I have logged out and logged back in. I have forced synced the library. I have restored iTunes purchases. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works.

Others recently have made the same comment. I’m a subscriber to the print edition, I’ve tried the print subscriber tips to get access, I’ve also reset my password after supplying my account number and I still can’t access any issues without being asked to pay the 5.99 price. There have been comments to reviewers that have been some basic instructions but this issue is not a user error.

Have to echo the other complaints about not being able to access new issues. Only given option to buy or start trial. I am a subscriber and I am logged in with my email. Very frustrating lately. Emails to Meredith go unanswered and of course there is no phone contact.

App Issues following renewal 4/5
Had issues accessing digital content following renewal, but problem was quickly corrected by developer. Everything is working smooth and I’m back to enjoying SI and the coming football season.

As numerous others state in the reviews, it is impossible to get logged on to see any content. After so many complaints you would think they would fix the app. Worst app in my book. If I could rate negative stars I would!
App simply does not work. I have had a print subscription for years. App does not recognize my account number or email address. The old app worked, but this one does not.

Swimsuit issues are missing 1/5
It has been many months and this app is still is missing the Swimsuit issues from 2014 and before. These issues were once on the app and since it has been updated they are now missing. I have paid for this issues, and nothing has been done to fix this major problem.

There was absolutely no way to recover all previously purchased copies. Won’t recognize any prior purchase or even account # on the actual magazine. Completely a rip off.

I have been through multiple versions of this app over many years. Despite various issues that have come up, I have at least been able to download issues. This is no longer the case. When viewing a recent issue I am given the options of buying the issue or purchasing a trial subscription - never mind that I am a subscriber and have entered my login credentials into the app.
So I hate to say for a once good app but this is a complete waste unless you are looking for sports news over 2-3 months old...

As a 30+ year subscriber to Sports Illustrated I have had great customer service - especially with all the moves while I was in the military. Now, SI has cut back to biweekly and I can’t even get issues on the app. I have already deleted the other Sports Illustrated app (only had soccer feeds) and the SI Swimsuit app, which never got updated after the 2017 issue. As a subscriber, you’d think you could get issues on the app. Guess I was wrong.

If you’re going to have a digital platform, you have to get it together. I’m signed in and when I click on an issue it gives me the option for a free trial or to purchase the issue. I’m obviously a subscriber if I’m signed in. So as a subscriber how do I access the issue if it only gives me those two options?
I’ve seen other subscribers post reviews about access issues and a standard response thanking them for their feedback, but no, seriously, how do I access the issues if those are the only two options?!
Print subscription won't download 1/5
I have been attempting to get my print edition on my iPad but it doesn't work. It continues to say "Try Again Later” but it is clear there is something else up. Apparently this is only for digital subscription only.
Difficult app 1/5
Horribly difficult to get where they will let me download issues. Contacting them is very labor intensive and time consuming. I had to provide a screenshot that my subscription was valid before the app custodians (Zinio) would believe me, then only allow online access.

Used to be a reliable app. Now after following the sign in instructions you can access the library of past issues but one cannot get the current issue. You get asked to buy the current issue or enter a trial subscription. I already have a subscription!!! Frustrating. I renewed my print/digital subscription for a year but will likely let it lapse. Magazine dying a slow death since it went to twice a month format. Used to be must read. Sadly the times have changed.

This app has never worked properly.
I get a new issue notice and when I try and read it I am offered a free trial or read a sample.
You folks never forget to bill but you always seem to forget to deliver the goods.
Very bad practice and horrible customer service. I am trying to figure out a way to get my money back but you never answer emails or phone calls.

Credentials constantly lost. I waste time with multiple restores and even this is not reliable. Downloaded issues do not always stay downloaded. Very very unreliable. I hope your new buyers fix the problem...or know what they have gotten themselves into!

You know when you decide to fix or build something that you know nothing about, but figure it can’t be that hard and you’ll just dive in and...it’s a freaking mess? Contact SI because apparently that’s how they build their app. Simply trying to gain access (I’m a subscriber) is impossible. Tried 4 or 5 times before realizing I’m not an idiot, and their app is totally f’d. Then I see I’m not alone is discovering this...after wasting too much time! Just ridiculous.

Simply put, the app doesn’t recognize the account number from my print subscription. Three weeks of “we are currently experiencing problems. Please try later.” Brutal. Most likely will not renew my subscription after about 40 years of reading.
No phone number to call tells you something. They are afraid they’ll be overwhelmed by angry subscribers. I couldn’t find even an email address to contact.

Yet another magazine I cannot access after the update. When I enter my Acct #, it pulls up an email that is not mine. The same thing happened with another magazine. See ticket 775341 with Zinio for a similar situation.

Same as other bad reviews. Able to log on, but an’t access issues from beyond 12 months. Itunes restore worked for most of this year but not previous.
App wants me to buy the current issue after my print copy came with the cover and first half dozen pages mangled. Swimsuit issue of course.
Now to find out how to cancel my print subscription.....

After several re-installs, the app does not allow me to sign in with iTunes. What an absolute shame. If there is an issue with iTunes, shouldn’t the developer address this issue rather than say that “We are working on the issue” because nothing appears to have happened since a barge of complains from several users since April 2019.

Been a print and digital subscriber for years. Renewed in January but can’t download a thing. Maybe it’s time to cancel. $100 and no digital issue for my iPad. Zero stars. First you lose Peter King. Now you screw up the app SI.
