Reserved a spot a week in advance only to be turned away along with multiple cars trying to attend c2e2. Two hours later and I’m still waiting for parking in a lot. Whole morning ruined.

App didn’t work, customer service promised me a refund, called back to get it and the horrible human fought w me and refused to transfer me to manager or refund me. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT APP. IT’S A SCAMMING SCHEME.
Had my car ticketed, had no parking available despite reservation, and today got my car towed.
Never, ever, ever, ever again.

Listen. I never rate apps, but SpotHero has come through for me on 3 separate occasions so I have to sing their praises.
Once I reserved a spot in a garage on SpotHero, but when we arrived, we were having difficulty locating a spot in the garage. I called SpotHero and they were completely ready to re-direct us to the nearest garage with open spaces, but someone ended up pulling out so there was no need.
The second time I booked a surface lot, and again, they were full upon arrival. We were able to find a garage right around the corner, but I still called SpotHero to let them know. They asked me to send a receipt of my new parking spot, and refunded me my original reservation. Also, had the parking been more expensive than the spot I reserved, they were willing to pay the difference.
Most recently, I reserved a spot in a sport stadium parking lot, but was not able to get to the specific entrance they needed me to navigate to to utilize my reservation. We paid for parking at another lot and I called SpotHero immediately. I couldn’t get anyone on the line by the time I needed to enter the venue, so I wrote them an email right away explaining the situation. I didn’t hear back from them for 5 days and thought I was out of luck, but a rep just got back to me and accepted a photo of my dash ticket (which had no day, time, or pricing info on it) in order to process my refund for the spot I had reserved but couldn’t get to.
App is easy to use, you always get a good deal on parking, and their customer service team has ALWAYS handled any issues I’ve had. Well worth the download.

SpotHero used to be my go-to app for parking. But something is seriously amiss in their development team. Every time I try and use Apple Pay I get a server error. Random errors on the app all the time. Slow speeds. Terrible customer service for many of their garages (I once had to wait an hour at the parking garage gate to leave)

This is one of my favorite spots on the weekends. You can park here and be right in the middle of everything. You get plenty of time for a good price and the best part is 24 hour security because you’re in the Aon building.
New customer promo code 2/5
So I found a promo code for new customers that I tried to use. When checking out I added the promo code, and the $10 off for new customers was applied. However, when processing my payment I get an error saying it can’t use that promo code. Not sure why I couldn’t use it, I’m a new customer and this was my first time booking with SpotHero, those were the only two requirements to use the coupon code. Needless to say, I booked the spot but I will not be using spot hero again nor will I refer anyone else to use it. If you can’t stand by your promo codes that you have on your website what’s the point to having them available?? Very aggravating and frustrating.

It would be very helpful to be able to read and write reviews for the specific garage locations. We have used this app many times and found the ease of access, quality of garage, lighting and feeling of safety dramatically very between garages in a similar location. Overall this app is great.
Even if you have a discounted park try Spot Hero! 5/5
I was calling to find out if there was discounted parking offered for a downtown cultural events. It was! But it still seemed high to me. I decided to check out my favorite App, Spot Hero. And I got the same garage for the same time and day through SH for $6 LESS than the already discounted price! This App allows me to partake in downtown Chicago activities without feeling like I have to take out a second mortgage just to park! Thank you SO MUCH!! What a service! Bravi !!!!
Terrible Customer Service 1/5
I have used SpotHero numerous times in NYC and only had one issue that was not their fault. Until today. I prepaid for an overnight spot for $61 which in Manhattan is a reasonable price. When I arrived to pick up my car the attendant told me the price was $45. I told him I already prepaid $61 and there was nothing that he could do. I figured it would be an easy call to SpotHero to get my $16 refund. I was so wrong. Not only was I refused a refund, they suggested that I pay the lot the $45, send them the receipt, then I’d get a refund. So they wanted me to pay $106 for a $45 spot, and hope I get my money refunded. They wouldn’t trust me but I’m supposed to trust them. Not only that, the poor girl that answered the phone was thrown to wolves to try and resolve the matter as no supervisor would come to the phone. Not a way to run a business. It also makes me wonder if I just got lucky this time and was overcharged in the past as well.

This app is really to use and shows the best prices for multiple garages. I just wish they would offer more discounts for regular users as opposed to only new users as an incentive to sign up. Never treat new friends better than the old ones.

I’ve used the app a few times in Manhattan and each time I’ve been able to reserve spots in pricey areas for very reasonable prices and the garages have no problem honoring the reservation. Spot hero has definitely reduced the stress of driving into the city! Knowing I have a convenient and safe place to park my car is wonderful.
Just amazing!!! A company that have excellent customer service is more likely to succeed... I can use any other competitor but moving forward I will stick with SPOT HERO. Your employee CONCHETA from the customer service team really went above and beyond to meet my needs. She made my day! Thank you

I reserved a parking spot for the day of a race. Well to no fault of SpotHero, the parking lot cancelled reservations. SpotHero could of just refunded my money but instead found a alternate spot and picked up the difference. My original spot was $12, the new one was $35. I’m impressed!

TERRIBLE recent experiences 2/5
In LA last week, booked spot through app, went to the lot, the attendant asked how much I paid, then asked for more money?!
In Anaheim yesterday, booked through app, waited to get in garage, told attendant I booked through SH, and they said they weren’t accepting and to take it up with SH.
I called cust svc, they sent me to a lot much further away AND THEY DIDNT ACCEPT EITHER!?
In summary, in one day, I was turned away from TWO locations booked through APP

Horrible first experience using their services. I booked a parking spot in downtown Chicago, they gave me the instructions to open the gate by using my cellphone but when I got there their app didn’t work to open the gate, I had to call them and they tried to open it from there but nothing happened, short story I lost my appointment and me and family had a not nice moment because of this so finally they had to find me another spot near by. Then for the next day I had already booked the same parking spot and I decided to email them to please refund my money back because after such a horrible experience I just didn’t feel like using their services again and that’s all, I NEVER receive an answer back at least to say NO! This company is a joke and really disrespectful with the customers. I don’t think I’ll use this again.

I love this app. The fact I was able to get a refund when plans changed is amazing, just saved me tons of stress.
I reserved 3 days of parking with Spot Hero for the Natural Products ExpoWest show at the Anaheim Convention Center. When I arrived the attendant told me the lot was full and I’d have to obtain a refund from Spot Hero. I had to go find parking more than half a mile away last minute, which was not only costly but I wound up being late for my meetings and extremely frustrated! Not a happy first experience. I would consider a different app since this one appears to be flawed.

I’ve used Spot Hero / Parking Panda and like many aggregator/partnering apps - Great when it works, but when it doesn’t, You’ll be the one getting burned...not Spot Hero nor the Parking Lot.
Their partnerships with the lots appear to be tenuous at best, so (as their rep described to me), the have no ‘Good Faith’ or leveraging with their partners when something needs a ‘customer sat’ resolution with the lots on behalf of the client.
So, if you want to save a few dollars and absorb all the risk if something goes wrong between Spot Hero and the lots communications/records - good on ya!
If your seeking risk free parking, in an urban area where penalties (for the slightest misunderstanding or error on any parties side) can be 3-4x the cost, or in a worst case facing a tow of your vehicle - Spot Hero is NOT your partner, advocate or provider that can care.

Just don’t understand why your app doesn’t cover the Nassau and Suffolk county streets in Long Island. I would thing as a app providing to its customers a useful product that covers all near by city’s.
Valet didn’t exist 1/5
I reserved a spot near the Pantages theatre in Hollywood, paid the fee, and was instructed to go to an address and check in with a valet. The valet did not exist. I not only lost the parking fee I had prepaid ($21), I had to pay an additional $30 to park in another lot. This is unacceptable! I notified SpotHero when I returned home, with no response.

Information sent to GPS 5/5
Why on earth you send coordinates to the GPS app selected? You should send the regular address so when you are arriving you can check on the street number. Also after you select which app you want to use as GPS there is no way to change it.

I paid for parking at water tower parking garage. When I entered the garage, there were no parking spots available and no one in the garage to help. I won’t use this app again - so unreliable. I had to pay to park in another garage.
San Francisco parking bad experience don’t use app 1/5
On Monday I arrived at the parking location and tell what’s spot hero? Once I explained to then and that I paid $300 for a week. They then said ok you can park. I came in next day Tuesday and told me there is no space. Again I had to explain the whole thing, and allow me to park. Today Wednesday they try to gave me another excuse, but allow me to park. I am fed up. I will not return back on thursday and Friday and request a refund. To much Trouble with this app.

Over charge for extend hours! One day reservation $12, but with 2 hour extension, charge another $48, total of $60 was charged, it is rip off. The ticket for a day on the parking garage ticket is $22.!!

I used it in Chicago and SpotHero was super helpful! I made a few rookie mistakes using this app for the first two times, but the parking associate and the Hero team were both super friendly and quickly resolved my issue. I will definitely continue using SpotHero and would highly recommend to my friends!

I used this app to park near the airport. When I exit, the QR code didn't work, so I had to pay with my credit card myself. I contacted support, they promised to reimburse me with a check, but two months have passed and i still don't have it.
This is my first time using this app, terrible experience and will never use it again.

Used the app for years, mostly in DC, but lately they’ve been “booking” spots that don’t exist. The most recent one wasn’t there and, with traffic being heavy, Spot Hero ruined our day out. Use Parking Panda instead.

If I could give this service zero stars I would. The lot I reserved was oversold by several hundred spaces as we were told by attendants after waiting 30 minutes to get into the structure. We were told to exit the lot and try another one a few blocks away, even though there was no guarantee of a spot at that garage. Further, even if a spot were available, they couldn’t guarantee our reservation would be honored. Total joke. Just use a ridesharing service instead.
Because of the logjam and complete confusion in the garage, we missed the first third of the concert we were attending.
Deleting this app with pleasure.
The app has tons of bugs related to monthly billing. I’ve almost had my car towed 2x in 4 months because the billing system was so bad and never processed my fee for the month. Then I tried to call their service line to fix the issue and people told me it was fine even though it wasn’t resolved.

We will NEVER use this app again. We prepaid online, went to correct parking lot, and was booted anyway. Had to wait for someone to unboot us because of THEIR mistake. Never again
I am disgusted by Spot Hero! Not only did you charge 4x the amount of neighboring lots, but when I went to change my time slot by 30 minutes, you charged me DOUBLE your insanely high rate. When I called customer service to report the issue, I was told nothing can be done.

Parked. I overstayed by 45 minutes. The machine rejected the app and told me to press call which I did. No response. Had to back out of lane and got out with the help of another driver. Not sure what I could have done.

Spot hero has double charge me twice in two months now without informing me. The customer service is awful when you point this out. This is totally unethical to do. We will never use this service again. Please spread the words to alert everyone this kind of behavior is totally unacceptable.

This app never lets me down. I always find a fair deal within .1 to .2 miles of popular places. I use it in San Francisco mostly, but it was good for me in Chicago and other cities too.
I reserved parking through SpotHero because the museum of illusions in Hollywood recommended it on their site. I paid $20 for a spot. Well surprise it’s only $15 to park in that lot. So I paid $5 more for a spot and there was plenty of parking there. Straight lying about saving money by using the app. Never again!

I selected to park from 9:30 am to midnight and immediately a $22 fare popped up suggesting that garage fulfilled my request (9:30am to midnight). As I was exiting the garage I found out that spot hero had only booked 9:30am to 9:30pm. Their system is deceiving. I was then charged $46 dollars from the garage because spot hero did not cover until midnight.
Using this app prompted a total of $68 in charges for one park. Would not recommend this app.

I have utilized Spot Hero’s services for several years and have found it to be a godsend. The ONE time I had an issue I called and after explaining, the issue was resolved to my satisfaction within 15 minutes.
The app will not let me invite others cuz my promo code. I have to log into a computer to send a promo code. I keep getting a request to rate my last spot even though I completed that action. Please fix the app because it’s annoying.
Got a fine while having a parking pass 1/5

I used the service to go to a basketball game in Miami last December. I followed the instructions, arrived at the placed, showed the parking pass to the person working, who confirmed my pass was valid there.
Today I (3 months later) I got a letter with a ticket for parking without displaying ticket on my car, which I’ve never seen the ticket. So now, I have to pay a late fee and cannot fight because the deadline for that is over.
Nice job, SPOT HERO!

Could not find a way to text the reservation to my boyfriend who was so kind to try to retrieve the car in a freezing rain storm. The attendant would not get the car for him with the claim ticket. Insisted on seeing the reservation on my phone. No way that I could figure out to text it. The reservation confirmation had a button for the ticket but it just took it back to the reservation page. Bar coding is hardly new technology! The attendant actually copied all of the info down by hand when we parked. Still wouldn’t release the car with me on the phone with the reservation no AND a physical claim check. Not worth the few bucks I saved for the hotel parking.
