I love Square Appointments. This last update though has it not fitting correctly on my iPhone X. Work perfectly on my 6S plus and iPad. Also wish there was some way clients could make an account where they can view and edit their past and upcoming appointments.

I love this app. My clients enjoy the confirmation and reminder texts, etc. one thing I would like to see is being able to put more than one employee to a clients appointment. I am a massage therapist and we also have an esthetician but I have to make two separate appointments for the client coming in once for services from the both of us. Other than that...fantastic app!

I’ve tried 3 other appt bookings. This one is my favorite so far. I wish when adding services to either an appointment or checking out the appt it was easier. When you enter in all of your services it does not put them in alphabetical order nor does it give you the option to put them in categories. You also can’t search either. So have to scroll through a long list to find what you want in a random order. I provide so many different services as I am in the hair business and it is hard or more so an inconvenience.The regular Square app itself, the check out and everything is awesome. I can put everything in categories and I can even adjust prices underneath each service. For example a toner starts at 25 but it goes up from there depending on how much I use, so under the toner I can have price one, price two, price three, etc. not a big deal to have to manually change the price in the appointment but it is more convenient to just be able to click on the price that I need from the get go.So as I said previously I think my main concern and complaint is that the services are not automatically in alphabetical order nor can you put them into categories. As example I do a service highlights, but I can do accent highlight, partial highlight, full highlight, so it would be nice to be able to just click on a highlight category and then from there that click on whether it’s the accent , partial, or full. The cluttered unorganized services drives my nuts. I just wish it was more like the regular square check out. However I do like that it sends automatic reminders with email and text. I am still getting used to it, it’s only been a couple days so I will give it some extra time.

I operate a very small business that is just me helping clients with different technology needs. I looked at Square Appointments before, but the monthly fee was too big for me to justify it for the size of and amount of business I was doing. When I found out that Square was offering appointments for free for individuals, I jumped on the opportunity. Changed my invoicing from something else to Square and have been using the appointments.
I absolutely love how I can sync my Google Calendar with appointments and can set my hours. This makes it so easy for clients to pick a time to schedule with me. I also really like how Square sends my clients reminders and allows me to easily send the receipts after they pay for services. This makes my job so much easier. Additionally, when I provide remote support, having the ability for them to pay an invoice directly through Square is really great. Yes, there are some processing fees with that, but they are well worth it considering how much easier it makes things for me!
Also, I am really happy that square allows me to select multiple payment methods including options that are not credit. I can easily select cash or check if that is how my clients want to pay. Keep up the good work, Square! This app has made operating my business so much easier and it makes my operations look even more professional!

This is exactly what I was looking for and needed, would be nice to pick your available time spots, however it’s not a deal breaker. Really like this a lot, I was able to create a booking link on Yelp that goes directly to my booking page, I also put the booking link in a canned message response on Facebook and also on my auto replies on my smart phone. Highly recommend if you are looking for an appointment service.
New update as of Tuesday the 15 2018 is crashing after I put in my security code.

I love that my clients can book themselves. I love that it holds a card on file to enforce my cancellation policy. I love that I have a record of my clients visits and what treatments they receive. I thought it was worth the money at $30, but I absolutely LOVE that it’s free now which really helps a small 1 person business like myself!!

I had to replace my iPhone and now the app won’t work. I have appointments I need to close out. And appointments I need to book. I use the other Square products and I was enjoying this one but I am in a bind. When I go in to my pin code it just closes and I have tried going in thru dashboard and still. I think all square apps should be incorporated for easier access and right now I need to access my appointments.

We have been using square appointments at our spa for the last 4 years. Not sure why it keeps crashing as soon as you put in your login code. But that is new. Otherwise we really like this for our clients.
I usually require my clients to pay a non refundable deposit in order to book an appointment. There’s only an option to have them pay the full service amount.
Is there any way to add an option for them to pay a percentage or a fixed price of the service total in order to book? That would be totally helpful!

Square has recently dropped the monthly price for individuals to use their appointment app. It's now FREE!
I love this app for my business. It allows me to have clients book in their own time instead of calling me. And the "no show" protection is worth gold. I recommend this product to all of my colleagues many times.

lacking some key features that are standard with other apps. Clicking on the time from the calendar to add new appointment should be automatic. Willing to pay for better features.

Love square appointment. I wish there was more customization for the layout that customers see. The reason I’m giving this app a 1 star review is due to the fact I HAVE TO LOGOUT to change which of my 3 locations I want to see.
On the square website, I push one button to select which location calendar I want to see. Why doesn’t that app have this functionality? As a small business owner I need to be able to keep track of what is going on in my offices.
I’ve sent in this suggestion to the square team and have received less than stellar responses. I’m really hoping this can be implemented as it doesn’t seem like to much to ask for and is something that should already be there.

Too expensive for individuals! 2/5
The app and features are good but I can’t give it more than 2 stars because of their price and their lack of transparency in advertising the “free for individuals” perk. It is actually $30 a month for an individual but the booking site is included so they call it free... imagine if everything you bought called the inclusions free. Hey I bought a car it came with a free steering wheel! Like, come on. You’d gain far more subscribers if you dropped the individual pricing to $10 per month. I’ve read reviews all over screaming the same thing so if your greedy corporate execs don’t want to listen then they’re just turning down revenue. As a shareholder I personally find discern in a company that limits their profitability by cutting off their nose to spite their face. Lastly beware, they are using verifiable fake reviews to promote their services.

This app lets you do a lot from your phone. I don’t have to get on the computer at all if I don’t need to. It’s easy to book and enable the online booking! I love that because I am a renter and this helps me give my link out to my clients and they can easy book on there. Holding their card is a smart decision too. This has NOT FAILED ME. I’ve made more money than when I was commission. Hard work does show thank you.

Would really like it a lot better if it also was available for the Android system. I use an IPad at the office , but when I’m away I would really like the same conveniences of the IPad app on my phone. When I’m trying to provide a speedy response to my customers I really don’t like having to haul my tablet every where I go and logging on via internet. It is not very convenient.

This app is great and has pretty much everything you need to run a business smoothly and it’s even better now that it’s free for individuals! Overall, it’s great but missing just one thing - a way to add and track package deal items. I’m a massage therapist and have many clients buy packages for a discount and easy one time checkout. If this app included that ability it’d be perfect!

Good Square app along with others I use. Easy to link on webpage for seamless booking. After trial,$30/month is a bit much for small business such as me. Price Seems to be aimed at larger businesses. Please have a small business lower price plan as I know several small business who would desire to use.
I love this app so far, I have only had it for a few days. The checkout process with my square reader makes it much faster. It’s free!!!!! I am independent so I really can’t justify spending money on a booking system. I love love the text or email reminders! I also like the fact that you can book personal events so that I don’t have to have a separate calendar for that. I haven’t been able to book reoccurring personal events is the only real glitch for me. You can add retail products at the checkout as well. This app really has just about everything I have wanted in a scheduling app. Life just got easier for me :)

As a small massage therapy business this app has enabled me to provide professional customer service that I don’t know how I would accomplish without it. I’ve used square for many years, so I was thrilled when I purchased a new phone and searched for appointment appts to see square had one. I downloaded it set it up with my clients info and services, when I went to make a test appointment the app force closes. I’ve tried it several times.
If someone can tell me how to fix this problem, I would love to adjust me review. I was really looking forward to this working. Thanks.
I would give this app a 5 star rating, if it had notifications reminders to yourself of the appointments and events on the calendar.

I do love the appointment app mainly because I love that my checkout and my books are all integrated together. The only big thing I wish I could change is at the end when I check a client out I wish that rebooking them was easier.
On schedul (which is also free) it will show the calendar do that I can click on a spot and place them there right after check out.
That’s my main complaint and I would have stayed with shedul but I do really like the one stop does all.
Please make rebooking easier.

My clients can’t view their profile so every time someone forgets their appointment I get a text. I see 40+ people a week. I don’t have time to text every single client that forgets. They should be able to go in, look at their appointments and make adjustments themselves. Also, please make it possible for clients to book reoccurring appointments! They’re having to enter their card information every single time they book. So dumb! It should save their card to their profile! Common guys! I really don’t want to have to move to another booking service but I need the changes to happen now! I want to be able to charge for no shows without having to checkout a no show with a credit card!! So frustrating!!!!
The app lets me download and log in, but will not load my calendar/appointments.

I have been pleased with Square since day one. Some are complaining about the $30/month charge, but that is a whole lot less expensive than hiring a receptionist to remind your clients and an accountant...I am semi retired and still find that it is well worth the charge.
