It is completely ridiculous that I can only upload one file at a time to my clients’ records. I take multiple photos of procedures for reference and it is a very tedious process to upload one photo at a time. You should really fix this!

So uttefly thankful for this appirdresser and this app is good so far but would be even better if it allowed you to create appointments with gaps of time between services for clients but still able to check out multiple services at once. Overall happy. for instance (15min appointment to apply color) (45 min open time for processing) (45min appointment for haircut blow
If it allowed this then it where that processing time is it would make it easy to book another service during that down time.

Since you book with a credit card on file through the square app and it transfers over to the appointment apps it would be nicer if the checkout process was a bit more seamless/smoother as it doesn’t automatically go through with the card you booked with unless you go back to click the link you get vis text messaging...

I’ve been running square on my iPad for years and for a couple of months I’ve been running square appointments. Today they BOTH stopped working on my iPad Air 2. When I look up Compatible devices, my iPad is listed. However the beginning of my workday today, I find I can’t charge credit cards or see my schedule on my iPad. Both apps simply won’t download. Is this perhaps because of the update?
I’ve spent the whole day scrambling trying to figure out how to now run my business schedule and run credit cards. Any information would be very helpful.
I loved it up until now. Everything was finally just syncing up

I’ve been tried to set up my appointments to where customers could book in advance but there’s is no option for it , instead they can only book for the same day which is very unorganized and last minute. I tried to reach support but you don’t get to actually speak with a representative and when I tried to explain the issues over and over, it said “sorry couldn’t understand your question” it’s no help . I saw someone had the same question 2 years ago and someone was actually able to help and show how to add the booking in advance setting but since the app has been updated within those 2 years . The features described arent even available anymore . Not sure how my customers are supposed to schedule an appointment.

I’ve been using the appointment system for about a year and a half now and it’s been a godsend. It’s set up very well, it’s pretty turnkey and my clients really like it. One thing that’s missing is and alert for appointments. There’s sometimes especially personal appointments that I want an alert for and I have it on Google calendar but not on Square and it’s kind of a pain to be using two calendars at the same time. Otherwise very pleased with the system

We love the integration on Google Places and Instagram to book services but...
Customization of prepaid package purchases are not offered rendering regular accounting reviews and errors and not to mention potential for audits
Desktop site with low toned grey and white low contrast makes booking for staff end open for errors.
Payroll for commissioned based service providers is also too simple with one flat percentage per service provider.
Otherwise good flow, responsive non freezing app and ease to use for small number of staff only.

Only got through setup/testing and this is bad. 1. Can’t make calendar in 20min increments. Set up first appointment as 20 min appt, try second and it’s clearly on the 15. 2. Instantly “confirms” appt even though customer never did. 3. Can’t print a receipt. 4. Appt slots are tiny on screen. 5. Leaves dates that have passed available for scheduling. 6. Got sent text on my Windows phone practicing and screen it takes you to is blank. Plus something about “chat.” Why can’t it just ask “Yes to Confirm”…but worse, see #2. 7. Assumes everyone has Android or iPhone. How does a landline customer confirm or get receipt? 8. Would be nice to enter insurance information, at least member ID, especially if patient can schedule online. We need to confirm they are eligible before appointment. 9. HIPAA compliant? This is so bad I dare not use it.

I own a Tattoo Shop and an air duct cleaning business. This is by far the best business scheduling assistance and payment app I have used. It has been helping me convert more customers with how professional and easy everything is. If you own a small or even bigger business get this app!
Love it for salons, BUT... 5/5
I run a busy salon and have recently switched over to square appointments for salons. It’s great, however some MAJOR industry specific things are missing.
First - and most importantly we need MULTIPLE LEVELS OF PRICING for stylists and service providers. Almost every salon i have ever heard of - implements a level system. This is not possible with square as of now. I was told the only work-around is setting up levels (such as level 1 stylist, level 2, etc) as different locations?! Huh? That’s confusing.
I’d love more specific reporting. Especially with sales. Both retail and service. For example, I’d love to be able to run comparison reports specific to a stylist/service provider or vendor/manufacturer.
I’d love a “goal setting” function based on each stylists sales/service performance. So that we can evaluate performance, make a plan & set new goals that our stylists can keep track of as they work towards reaching the next pricing tier.
Aesthetically, I’d love to have a wider variety of colors we can assign to daily calendars. I’d also like to be able to set the stylists columns in level order. We can set up the order in which the services flow for online booking, correct? Why can’t we set stylist order in the daily calendar?
And lastly, I’d love to be able to set up a revolving schedule. For example, if a stylist works every other Saturday ~ we manually have to go through the calendar and make sure to take them off schedule on the Saturdays they aren’t in.

I really love the functionality of this app. Does everything I need it to do. Love square. Except I can’t do no show protection appointments from the app. Which mean when re booking I have to log in through the website in order to do that. And being able to require a card on file was one of my biggest reasons for switching to square. Please please add that to the app. Those are precious minutes that turn into hours. And time is money.

A cent was taking out of my account when I linked my bank to the website for transactions. However, when I disconnected my information from the app the vent was sent back into my account. A few hours later a lot of apps downloaded onto my phone without my doing so. I believe this had something to do with the app. I have no negative reviews or ratings just a heads up...

I was going to use this app to make it easier to schedule language exchanges with people but they app wants to access so many parts of my phone. I just want to have an online calendar that people can use to schedule conversations. The app seems rather intrusive.

On laptop it always brings up the appointment 15 minutes later than what I click on; i.e. 2:15 appears even though I clicked 2pm. Very frustrating.
Also it arbitrarily turns off alerts to recipients of their upcoming appointments. Can’t change from mobile device without going to web dashboard.

There needs to be a option for deposits when clients make appointments and not that set fee/ prepaid. This is honestly great for me it’s only one “Staff” so it’s free besides the payments you take which isn’t bad. At this point I send a invoice for then deposit which makes allot of work but it’s easier for bank deposit.

This the most complicated and confusing application I’ve ever used. Ive tried 3 times to insert specific hours in the schedule and it was so time consuming. Absolutely nothing is straight forward. It takes way less time to make my own schedule in my note pad and send reminders on my own. Ive also researched on YouTube to try to learn to use the application but the instructions don’t even match the application.

We all know it’s the little things that matter. Like I would love to be able to leave a thank you message for after every client books. It should be a option to take deposits for appointments through the app. Oh and last thing I’m so mad that I took so much time writing under my services nicely just for it al to bunch together 😩.
