I use Square for my grooming business. And I LOVE the ease of use for my end and the customers. Booking ahead is CRUCIAL! And square makes it SIMPLE.
I DO wish customers could see their OWN future apts. Trying to be environmentally conscious, I don’t pass out unneeded apt cards. But if I book someone ahead, unless I tell them, they won’t get their future apt until the day before.
It would be awesome if they can see their calendar of apts in their customer management online.
Also if someone pots out on accident, I don’t see a way for them or me, to opt back in. Advice?

Overall this app is great for booking. I just started a nail business in my home and I love how easy this app is to use when clients want to book with me. The only issue I have is, I am not getting any notifications for when someone books with me. My notifications are on in my settings and in the app but for some reason I do not get any notifications. The only notifications I get is an email if someone booked with me. I really hope they fix that issue.

This appointment tool has been fantastic. I haven't experienced any glitches or problems, nor have my clients reported any. The only thing that would make this better is the ability to have 3 location options under one calendar user: my location, client location, or virtual meeting. Currently, I have the virtual option set up as a sub-service after choosing a physical location. The other option is to set up a separate, second calendar, which negates the convenience of sending one link. I've spoken to tech support and confirmed my set up.

I love how simple this app is to use for my new small business! After looking at many different options square just stood out the most.
I wish when my clients book appointment it would send me a text notification as a reminder too because if I don’t check app for appointment I could miss out & not know anything & lose money & lose a potential new customer

I love everything about the app so far but the book now button through instagram is not working. It just gets stuck on loading screen. I’ve seen multiple complaints about this that says it’s on your end not Instagram. I need it for my business! Please fix!!!
Everytime it gets to “loading calendar” it closes the app and doesn’t go further I have an Iphone 11Pro it’s Oct 10,2020 and everything is up to date. Really horrible

Worst Customer Service Ever 1/5
I’m not sure if this is the only way I’ll get an email back or a call back. Yes I know it’s a pandemic and I’ve been really patient for a month but I haven’t received help in OVER a month. All I want to do is get into my account but I can because it’s connected to an old number. I can’t even get in touch with anyone. I’ve put in 4 requests that said they’ll be in contact within 24 hours. Well that was weeks ago. The only company that’s been answering me is Squarespace! I’ll definitely delete my account and every single time someone asks me about using this company or app I will demand that they try another company because obviously they do NOT care about their customers or their business. The fact I have to use a whole different system now is beyond me. The app even changed my days off permanently. I use to be off on sundays but it switched it to Monday’s now that’s what everyone sees when they book. Only person that helped me was a Twitter help center agent. But even then they told me to go somewhere else for help. I’m truly livid and never been so disappointed with customer service my entire life because it’s something I take SERIOUSLY ! Never again. And don’t waste your money.

I use to love it but now that I’ve expanding my business it’s not convenient anymore. I wish we were about to separate services into categories when my clients book instead of them having to scroll because I have a lot of services. Also I wish checkout was easier since I do prepayment I wish it had a “deposit” options and remainder at review and checkout

I don’t like that you have to get clients email address to store card information and who books appointments at 4:22 or 12:16. The appointment times should be I 15 minute increments to make it faster to schedule appointments. Hopefully these changes will be made soon.

This app is almost perfect except for holding the card on file to help with no call no show protection is trash all they have to do is remove the card off file... Let us accept deposits that way if you show I can collect the remainder... If not keep the non refundable deposit...

I love almost everything about the app. The only thing major missing is info collected from client when booking. It would save me so much time if I didn’t have to have the client to fill out another form and remind them to fill out for more info. Then I have to search for the form in another system to get the info. I know I can personally put in their info but that doesn’t save time either! Please please please square make it an option to input more info when client is booking!!
A Better Set Up Overall Could Be Nice! 3/5
Setup should be a little bit easier. Calendar should be able to sync with other email domains such as outlook, not just google. Any changes made on the website does not sync with or show up on the appointments app. For example, any items/services you add via web, will not reflect on the app.

Send out wrong time to clients
I have been having a lot of problems with appointments popping up and disappearing in the system, which makes it hard to schedule because it causes me to be double booked. As well as some payments I can’t process or thought I processed but doesn’t show, which causes missing payments or over payments.

Kinks but ok 3/5
This service seems to need a lot of kinks worked out. First, my appointments show up in my synced Google calendar but not on the appointments app where you have to edit and make appointments for them to stay on the calendar. I have had clients who were able to book on days I had marked myself unavailable. Other than that it is not bad considering it’s free since I have no employees. But I am looking at other options.
Removal of Feature. 1/5
The most recent update removes any, real-time orientation option from the main booking page. For example, if you’re scheduling 2 weeks in the future. There is no one-button touch to take you back to the current time and day. Very poorly thought out update. Very poor customer service response over phone as well.
Square Inc, please duplicate the “Today” feature from the drop down calendar, to the bottom left header bar by the hamburger menu.
