The square is great with good features however I wish they can provide a way to give us like a reminder pop up. For example, if a client has a credit before and when they call for the next appointment to be scheduled...there should be a way where when you pull up their profile...a window pops up that says the client have a credit of such amount. I think having a pop up notification can help a lot. It’s like a red flag. I used to work at a doctors office and it works!! Because there are times we are so busy to read notifications or look for it when booking, answering phone, booking an appt, scheduling clients, checking out clients all at the same time would greatly help when their is a pop up notification.

Over the last three years I’ve been struggling to get my business started in a way that instead of just breaking even I wanted to start showing a profit. I have used Square since the beginning and loved the app even then, but Square without any extra charge has moved my business into a level that allows me to except bookings now online...Thanks for looking out for the little guy.

I used to use styleseat... but changed to square for the ability to have a primary card linked directly to my account as well as the ability to get loans through square capital. But I wish a lot of the things stylseat has for barbering and cosmo tools would be implemented by square. Such as how they have a restaurant specific app, have a barber shop / salon app as well!!! DO THIS, PLEASE &&& THANK YOU!

I was so excited after I began building my website through Square for my business, but it looks like I’m going to have to use an entirely different app for what I need! Square appointments is NOT made for a group class system. I can’t figure out how to double book any of my students and it’s really frustrating for them, and myself, to not have a simple solution for this. I may be switching over to PocketSuite or even Zenplanner because I can’t seem to understand why this is so difficult, along with the fact that Square has about three different apps you have to download in order to get all the basic features of what most other apps have in one for small businesses. Ridiculous. You’re losing me, Square. If I didn’t need the group class/double booking feature, you might have kept me around, but this is madness! Maybe I’m just overlooking something, but every other app is making this a seamless process whereas yours seems more convoluted the deeper in dive in- oh, and there are features you can’t get when in your mobile apps versus your desktop. We are in ancient times.

I recommend Square to every entrepreneur I meet.
I’m loving Square appointments. There’s a few things that need to change. Like grouping appointments for checkout and being able to change the appointment times through the app. For instance if you have an appointment that’s normally set for 45 mins and you want to change it through the app it only shortens the appointment down to 5 mins. And you can’t edit recurring lunch times on your calendar through the app. You have to do it using your laptop/computer. Other than that it’s easy to use.

Wonderful app. I only gave 4 star and not 5 because I used this for my salon appointments and don’t let me book a color process and and hour later a haircut in one ticket I have to book 2 appointments for one person and then fix everything for payments. I used to used vagaro and you book a client and then drag and ese párate the service an hour later but everything is in one appointment no in 2 so when you pay it’s charge in one appointment. I do think it has to be fixed. Everything else is wonderful

Was looking for a digital calendar for a while. Time to retire the ‘ol pen and paper schedule book! Love that Square handles my finances, online booking as well as personal/client calendar. They even send me a 1099 at the end of the year. Makes running a small business so easy!! Highly recommend

The booking app is fantastic! So easy and efficient! My clients agree that it’s easier to use! I just wish they would be able to merge two separate appointments together to make one while ticket. Other than that it fantastic!

So uttefly thankful for this appirdresser and this app is good so far but would be even better if it allowed you to create appointments with gaps of time between services for clients but still able to check out multiple services at once. Overall happy. for instance (15min appointment to apply color) (45 min open time for processing) (45min appointment for haircut blow
If it allowed this then it where that processing time is it would make it easy to book another service during that down time.
Fees are a little too high, and no tip options. Everything else is good
Love the app only thing needs is photos of services offered

We’re not able to charge clients the no-show fee with a card on file if the client doesn’t have an email? So they can lie about not having an email and we lose money when they don’t show up. What’s the whole point of having the card on file if we’re losing anyway? Giving it one star until they fix this issue. This is ridiculous

Not all appointments save credit cards. Sometimes I need to send an invoice to the client if the CC didn’t save and they get confused because they entered their credit card at booking. This either needs to be fixed or this app needs to allow a deposit to be charged by the client at time of booking. Please help with either feature! Otherwise, great app.

Just updated this app and it now crashes the moment the calendar loads. Every single time! Deleted the app, restarted my phone, re-downloaded it and the same thing keeps happening. Please fix!!!

It worked fine for the last year & recently sent a generic mssg to clients to opt out if they wanted with no indication what they were opting out of plus many clients aren’t receiving reminders that didn’t opt out. They’re messing with the technology lately.

I love that my appointment and income are tracked on here through the square. It’s really easy to use once I got it figured out. I can link my phone contacts to the appointments made, and edit them if needed. Love that. One bug is that it will allow me to double book myself and doesn’t warn me of the problem. I do a lot of scheduling out, and prefer to be able to set it up for every 3weeks or 8 weeks, but it won’t show if I’m already booked or it’s a holiday. Overall I do believe that will be fixed at some point, so it is a great combination app.

I use this for my private practice and I love that you can create services so it automatically blocks out the time once you add the start time. I love how it sends the notifications and it can also add a fee. I’ve been using it for 7 months now and it’s made my life so much better. I also love how you can go to each client and see a list of all their appointments and cancellations. Love it!

Criminal lack of customer service 1/5
Square is refusing to deposit my money or give me any reason why they’re holding onto it. I have tried MANY times to contact and resolve, but Square absolutely refuses to give me any way to contact them. They keep lying about sending me emails; I receive emails regarding password changes and other account info...nothing about any holds or requests for any information. Every day, my pending deposits show they’re going to be deposited the next day, but every day the date of deposit changes to the next day. This is criminal activity and needs to be addressed by the authorities.

I love this app, I’ve completely disowned my planner since now I can use the app for not only client appointments, but for personal events as well. It would get 5 stars if I didn’t time out after a few moments while closing it to look at another app. Sometimes I need to check the calendar or go to a message to get my client’s info and when I return to the app it takes me back to square one 🙄
