    The Square Dashboard is in stable and does not load most of the time. Using this creates challenges when trying to get updates. Would not recommend

    My favorite of the Square apps and have used it for years with my business. It has stopped working as of a few days ago. It displays an error message and says unable to load data. Please wait 30 seconds and try again. Please fix your app!

    Display of data on iPad is only 25% of screen. All data can be viewed through Square app. Not of any use.

    I can’t believe that in all my Square apps there’s no projections! I would love to have it calculate estimated future income based on appointment bookings, dollar per hour, percentages booked, etc. These things would be very motivational! I also wish that dashboard offered control of what things appear to the clients such as Business name, address, contact info, website, logo, etc. Those seem like “dashboard” functions to me but maybe I’m just too new to Square.

    The dashboard on the computer has so much functionality and the reports are endless. But on the app it’s missing all of that. Also recently they changed their mobile website. I aided to be able to access the full site on my phone but it’s not an option so I have no decent way of getting the information I want unless I sit down at a computer. I’m hoping this app starts to get a little more attention from Square.

    I do like to see my numbers from here, thanks for creating such an easy access app to my square account. However, I do feel there are some improvement needed. For an example, I can’t foresee how is my month or the week looks like without looking at my schedule. It will be nice to know what to do or focus on doing if my projection is low. Or, not to freak out if my numbers are down at the moment but it’s actually a very good month.

    The forgotten stepchild of Square. This app works but hindered by missing some basic functionality. For example, have a business with multiple locations? Sorry, you are out of luck because the app won’t let you see location-specific data. I’m a fan of Square generally but this app does not seem to get the same developer attention of their other apps. I’m hoping they add more feature soon.

    I want to be able click on the next day, and be able to make a sales comparison. This would allow me to easily look at tomorrow’s possible sales and know if I’m staffed properly compared to how busy we were last year.

    The app could be so much more if it weren’t so neglected. Over a year since the iPhone X was released, and there’s no iPhone X support. Also, there’s no way to filter or view modifier sets. So, as an example, instead of being able to see a breakdown how many of each flavor of cake we’ve sold, all we see is “cakes” and the value. Really wish a little more time and love was given to what could be a great app.

    This app definitely is not bad. It does its job and lets me keep tabs on my business wherever I go. But it just feels a little neglected and like it could do a lot more. For one thing, iPhone X support would be great. An easy way to see transaction and look at some more in-depth data would really make it great. This is all data that’s easily available with square, so I would think it would not be all that difficult to get in this app. I love having this app, and it works well, I would just love to see its potential fully tapped.

    I use this app probably a hundred times a day to monitor my business. It does a good job, but is pretty basic. I wish I could track net sales on the main page instead of gross. I have to do two taps to get that number. It would also be good to see discounts.

    Even though our close of business day is set at 4AM, sales reports do not reflect this. The app only shows midnight to midnight, which is not accurate. The website does the same thing, only there you can at least manually set the time window to the correct hours. This should be a trivial thing to fix.

    The data is significantly delayed (some purchases do not show up until days later). Reports function lacks important options and the interface is awkward in many places. Really is only good at checking employee hours if you’re using employee management. My advice - use the website. Actually, when I called Square about the issues with the app the support person recommended not using it at all.

    I have had continuous issues with this app losing my password after a week or two. This is the only app I have ever had this issue with. For a business owner who just wants to check on their store revenue quickly this is irritating. Square’s investment in this app is highly disappointing!

    I live Square but the Dashboard could use some more attention. There is no ability adjust any of the reporting and discounts are excluded from reporting, so you can only see Gross Sales as far as I can see.

    Square itself is awesome. We’ve been using it for three years and have never had any of the problems people complain about in reviews here. However I agree with folks who say this dashboard is not sufficient. Need to see inventory, transactions, and other stuff you see in the web site to make this app useful

    It gives you simple information like your gross sales. Unfortunately, it doesn’t not give you how much you collected that day. Say you are having a half off sale for your business and you use the discount option on the square app. The dashboard will show it as if you never applied a discount.

    Square has helped me sooooo much with my small business. They lend me money and I pay it back with a portion of my sales. So easy to use. I charge a client. Then I have that money instantly deposited into my account and part of that money goes toward my balance with square. Very cool. Happy customer here :)

    Dashboard as a tracking app is way off. We recently ran a 25% off sale. The dashboard showed sales before discount. What was relevant to know was net sales after discounts. So now all my daily tracking analytics are incorrect. My daily, weekly and monthly sales comparisons are terribly skewed and useless. I called square. I explained the problem. They told me where to find the net sales. I knew where. So to find my monthly sale all I can do is go in and program a custom report in the square app. Finally they just hung up on me.

About 1.5 years now, I've never had a single problem and they've been there with all the help I've needed for many problems. Thank you square, and thank you to square's team!!     When the mobile analytics app came out I thought it was great. Then I had trouble signing in because it would never remember my login though it does if I just go to the website. Then I found out it doesn't play with 1Password--cutting and pasting wasn't worth the hassle compared to just hitting the website. I tried the new upgrade today 6/25/17 and when I cut and paste a masked password it reveals the password on the screen. So now I have to wonder if it's compromising my password over the Internet. On top of that the login failed, telling me to try again in 30 seconds several times in a row. This company and their product is too good to have this mostly superfluous afterthought giving it a bad name. I popped it from the toaster and they should do the same. At least get the ad for it off the mobile screen where it just annoys me.

    Spare yourself some dignity and time, to deal with Square is to have no respect for yourself. They will decide that one of your sales is illegitimate, will hold your funds, will not respond to your support emails for 10 days, will remove an ability from your account to call them. I end up calling the customer and asking them if I can refund the payment and then charge it again via different merchant.
