I definitely will recommend using this app/service to others especially if you don’t have time or transportation to make it to the store at the time. 👍

I used to use this app all the time and it was great, the Just For U coupons and deals saved me a lot. But after the update the app has not worked at all, I can’t even get past the login page. It sends me a code to log back in but then it’s stuck waiting endlessly. I’ve kept trying to log back in over the past few weeks but nothing works. I’ve tried logging in with my phone number and email, redownloading the app, and have even gotten a new phone since this probablement initially started but I still cannot access the app beyond the login screen. I really hope they can fix this bug.

I had a huge order in my cart, the app updated and I lost my entire order. I use this as my grocery list and when the order gets large, I place it for delivery. Very frustrating to try to re-do and have it be correct.

The app definitely helps me find good deals on food and nice coupons and discounts. However, it doesn’t tell you when an item was removed from your pickup/delivery order. I planned a grocery list for the week and was notified of substitutions for a few items, but didn’t see any kind of indication to show what was taken off the list altogether. I didn’t get the chicken breast or meatballs I ordered and I only know that because I went through and screenshotted everything in my cart before I placed the order after this happened before and had to guess what was missing from a large order. Very frustrating when you go to cook something a few days later and don’t know an that ingredient won’t be there. Please fix this to show that the item was not filled as part of the order. Also, there should be an option for “in-person pickup” for people who are not driving to the store and won’t use the parking options. Thank you

The app has never once worked in the store for me- I clip the deals ahead of time and provide my phone and/or the app scan code at the register and it simply doesn’t work and a manager has to come over (as the line behind me grows longer and people grow annoyed) and manually enter discounts. This app is a waste of everyone’s time. Give everyone lower prices all the time like Market Basket.

I have an iPad Pro OS16.1 the search feature on the app hasn’t worked for weeks, I keep getting an error message that Sorry we are working on…. Not having a working search feature makes it impossible to add items if you want to edit an order that was already submitted-you have up to 12 to add/subtract items. I have to use the website. I love the app but this ‘missing’ feature is annoying.

Should not be so difficult to manage user profile (ie to update phone, correct name spelling, etc). Keeps generating codes to confirm my account but does not allow user profile management by user (me). Unable to access my pharmacy Rxs, which I need to update asap. Extremely frustrating.

I never used to order groceries because I like going to the store, and previous online experiences with other stores were lackluster. Star Market has created THE BEST app for online grocery shopping. I absolutely love it. I’m a pre-order for pick up grocery convert. It’s made my life so much easier, and actually makes it easier to find those sometimes hard to find items in the store. Highly recommend the app! Thank you to whoever puts all the work into this app to make it such a great experience!!

My biggest issue tho sometimes it doesent recognize my coupons at the store. That is a major hassle. Not getting the sale price on an item especially in todays world with inflation
and being price conscience.

When an item is out of stock or can’t be fulfilled, you should let the customer know while the shopper is shopping. That way I can make necessary adjustments. I don’t want to find that out after delivery.
If I’m buying several items that require each other to prepare a meal, if the main ingredient is not available or out of stock, I no longer can use other items and would be a waste. Today I used star market app for the first time and I had to alter my plans significantly because it didn’t let me know that something wasn’t available. This is gonna be the 1st and last time that I use tjis app. Sorry for mentioning a competitor but Instacart is much better in their real time updates to item availabilIty. Disappointed

You are unable to put 'no substitutions' for every visit on EACH ITEM. I believe I have always done this ir perhaps they changed the app because I don't remember having to worry about this. If they didn't have it, I would simply be told 'out of stock.'
Bait and switch on the app or they changed the app and didn't realize because some time had gone by while I wasn't using the app due to their highly inflated prices recently (more than other stores).
So nothing I ordered was in the store.
And everything was substituted with absolute trash food some of which is which is also food I don't have in my home.
They will give you ANYTHING as a substitute for your item!!!
Any type of food, any flavor, anything with the same word in it.
Most disgusting though is my family does not eat pork or have pork in out home.
Everything that we had ordered that had meat was substituted with pork. It was horrible. I did not realize it and accidentally put it in the refrigerator!
How is pork a substitute for chicken? Or turkey? Who does that? Many other items were randomly substituted but not in a way that contaminated my refrigerator and all my food.
Nothing I ordered was pork!!! They simply decided pork is a substitute for another meat and I have to pay for it.
They gave me a $10 discount on my next order. But the cost of the food I did not order was much more and I am out hundreds because all the food is contaminated and had to be disposed of plus there are other problems.
Star Market jacked up prices higher than other stores when inflation hit so I wasn't buying groceries there until prices leveled.
They don't appear to care about customers in any way.

I hate this app. It mysteriously doesn’t work when you are actually in the store, even if you are on the store’s WiFi. Then, you only have once chance to enter your account number at checkout and once the cashier hits a button you can’t enter your number anymore and can’t get the deals if on the rare occasion the app works.

Many, many times I open this app and it won’t connect. Your deals are tied to it, so I cannot access them. Store managers say it’s my technical problem and won’t simply over-ride and honor the discounts but I’ve got a new iPhone and 5 bars and/or wifi. I just got back from a wasted trip to the market, where I had to put back half my cart because I couldn’t access the savings. Really frustrating.

In the Order I placed I requested 8 Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip and 8 Chocolate Chip. Without notifying me, they substituted 4 pints of Chocolate Ice Cream with Peanut Butter for the 4 C.Chips they obviously didn’t have. All I want is a notification… How hard is that? I was told 2 hours before my deliver that many items were no longer available. After several calls and texts I thought that was resolved. Then the order never showed up. It took another 30-60 minutes to get a refund. No dinner. No breakfast. And I wasted at least an hour of my time for nothing. Maybe I get my money back in “3-5 days.”

I clipped some “for you” coupons for broccoli, Fuji apples, and yogurt but they didn’t work. When I brought it to the attention of the self checkout attendant she said “yeah, it be like that. That app don’t work.” So I guess I’m gonna take her word for it and shop elsewhere.

I consistently do not get my clipped deals applied. When I call I get different explanations
1. Our system was down when you checked out.
( clearly no way for cashiers or customers to know this)
2. Your app isn’t updated
( I can show the clipped coupon on my phone)
3. You have multiple accounts
(Even after merger still not working)
4. The Star mkt system upgrade is not compatible with iPhones pre iPhone 12
(Why wasn’t I notified or why aren’t store employees aware of this?)
5. Understaffed at stores who closed Customer Service so you can’t resolve it on site.
6. Lost ability to clip on the app —iPhone 11–and adds an extra step which also hasn’t worked.
It is extremely frustrating to shop at Star unless you have time to deal with their failure to honor the deals you clip.
Maybe it’s time to find a new grocery store?

The app is fine. But they combined delivery and just plain use into one. Fine. But they made finding rewards less than easy.But my main gripe is that there is always an update I am one that doesn’t leave it on automatic updates in the background. Anyway then when you click take me to the App Store it never actually takes you the Star Market app but rather some other app that the developer makes so that’s just uncalled for.
