Worst customer service ever! 1/5
Got the app sold my first pair of shoes, and everything works fine. 10 days later go to put in a bid on a pair of shoes and the suspended my account for no reason and without warning. Emailed them since they don’t jabs a phone number. Get an automated response stating that they couldn’t tell me why it’s been suspended. Such a joke, stick to quality companies like GOAT don’t waste your time here.
Sent shoes to StockX, they deemed the box was not acceptable so they said shoes could not be sold through them. They send back shoes with label tapped to the actual shoe box which caused more damage and allowed any and everyone to see what was being shipped back. Very unprofessional

I purchased Pirate Black 350’s. Received email stating the shoes passed authentication and will be shipped out to me. I receive the shoes but changed my mind about them because I like the V2’s more. Anyways, I put the same pair back on Stock X for sale and accepted an offer so I shipped the shoes to Stock X as normal procedure for them to authenticate. 2-3 days later, I get email stating they received the pair and that it could not pass authentication because “too many inconsistencies.”
If it could not pass, how did it pass the first time around??? I contacted Stock X through email which is their only way of contact. I got an email from stating the authentication results are final and insinuated that the shoes did not come from Stock X. I showed them the printed receipt, sticker and hang tag they put on every pair you buy. The customer service rep responded saying there no evidence that this pair came from Stock X even though I took pictures of evidence. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge and I am in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
I have purchased $3000 worth of shoes on Stock X within 5-6 months without issues. I have no reason to lie or try to scam. Also, because of this incident, I cannot trust their authentication team and will NOT purchase or sell or do business period with this company. I highly suggest others to do the same. This company can not be trusted. Check out their reviews on Better Business Bureau.

Everything was going well with the app, as I was buying/selling frequently with no problems until recently. When I tried to make a purchase I was sent a message that my account had been temporarily suspended due to fraudulent activity. I emailed customer service and said they didn’t know why. They also said I needed to provide extra proof to them by sending another email address, photo ID, and a phone number. I was so irate and fed up that they already had all my personal info and they’re asking me for more proof? I decided to deactivate my account and never use them again. Not very smart of them to easily lose business because they are deficient with their own process. It’s your app and your process, so as a very loyal customer with an excellent track record asks what’s the problem is... you better have an answer. I’m the customer remember?

Buying on StockX is always convenient and fairly inexpensive. Selling on the other hand, has been made difficult by the influx of posers who have just started flipping Jordan’s and Supreme. These novices are ruining the market for experienced resellers by not asking nearly as much as the item is worth. This site I feel promotes that more than say, Grailed, as the stock market brings everyone’s item value down tremendously. Bad margins spreading to other sites can be traced back to StockX. I wish very much that they could find a way to stop undermining an industry.

Worst experience in history as a sneaker collector everything about sneakers matter to me so when I purchase something deadstock I expect it to come dead stock not with a ripped up destroyed box ,I contacted support and instead of refunding me my money or sending me an actual deadstock pair they’re only offering me a $20 discount on my next purchase which won’t be happening after this first experience with them ..be aware and stay far away from purchasing from them

I bought some Retro 13 Air Jordans and when the shoes came, the bottoms were dirty like it’s been worn on the streets. The shoes were described at “New” and obviously I wasn’t! I’ve contacted support and still no response after giving them a couple days. Now I feel like I’ve just paid full price for some used and worn shoes. Guess I’ll start using GOAT instead from now one. Fully disappointed.
I’ve used StockX since 2016 buying and selling multiple pairs. I’ve never run into any issues, things have always gone smoothly. Until recently, I had a transaction flagged for review and my account was locked. My purchase account and sales account are one in the same. So they’ve used this bank info before. So it isn’t new/unfamiliar to them. They claim a third party service is to blame and want copies of identification and what not to verify. After I’ve had the account since they started as a company. They’ve never had an issue with my transactions in the past. Stuff like this is what happens when you get too big too fast. They were 5 stars, recently not so much.

I used to actually really like stockx but here lately they have just been trash ! With communication and they like to take your money and cancel your orders just because the shoe is expensive or rare ! Who cares if the shoe is expensive or rare I would like too purchase what I want with no problem! Just save your money and use goat !!! I literally tried buying pair Jordan 4s they took my money then canceled my order just because it was expensive?? So I got my money back went to goat my order went through fine and now going through processing! Stick with goat if your truly about your money and sneakers

I ordered yeezy beluga 2.0s and when the item came in they sent me hall of fame retro 3s in a size 9 when I ordered a size 12 yeezy and now the yeezys are up more than 40 more dollars and they offered me a refund for the 395 I paid. And when I asked why can’t I get the yeezys they said they are not a store so they can’t do exchanges. Like how do you see an order for a pair of 400 dollar yeezys then open a box of retro 3s and authenticate them and think yep these are the right shoes and ship them off like the order number on my phone and the one I got from the piece of paper are different. Recommend not buying from here there customer service is trash you can only message them through there app and they got my email but never responded to it.

First off, take a lot of these other bad reviews with a grain of salt. Half of them are because the reviewer is just stupid and the fault lies with them, not StockX. And a large majority of the other one star reviews just sound fake.
Secondly, I would be rating 4-stars if their customer service wasn’t so poor. 5-stars if they can fix the nonsense with their fraud prevention partner. They will flag people buying shoes, not even selling, for absolutely no reason. Once your account has been flagged, you can only purchase via PayPal. Your account will be frozen if you try to use you credit card again - this is ridiculous. My PayPal will not cooperate with StockX so I am effectively unable to buy shoes on StockX ever again. I’ve already bought three pairs of shoes without issue on the app in the past month. So I’m a somewhat active buyer. If I was the owner of this app and found out someone like me is unable to continue buying shoes on my app for no reason, I would be furious. I would’ve fired this third party fraud prevention partner is yesterday.
That issue aside, the rest of the experience was super smooth on the three pair I did buy. Shoes were exactly as promised, care was taken placing the shoes in the shoe box itself, with the proper cardboard shoe tree and wrapping paper. Looked better than buying in store, loved this as it made the experience feel more premium. Shipping was prompt and quick given the process here. Would be nice if there was an option to request one or two-day shipping from StockX. Overall the shoe inspection and shipping team are killing it. The customer service team and fraud prevention partner need to be booted and black listed ASAP.

Greatest sneaker app I used. It's like eBay but simpler and everything is deadstock and you don't have to worry about getting your money stolen 10/10. Your customer support is absolute garbage. They are incapable of doing their job, which is supporting the customer in the many issues they face using your platform. The only thing they are capable of is basically telling the customer is, this is how it is, we can’t do anything, bye bye, oh and f*** you. Not really something any customer, be a buyer or seller, appreciates. It’s sad because 2 years ago my experience was not like this. It seems like the customer service is just deteriorating with time. Anyways finally decided to stop using their service and am switching to Urban Necessities where they actually do give their customers the attention they deserve.

I love buying shoes and stockx is one of my go to’s for buying (usually) authentic shoes. However, if anything goes wrong you’re pretty much screwed. I’ve been waiting almost 2 weeks for my shoes already and I have received nothing from StockX regarding why this is taking so long. Not even so much as a discount for my time. It’s pretty ridiculous. Other than that they’re a pretty decent service.
