Data usage won’t work 1/5
The data usage has stopped working as of a couple of months ago. It keeps trying to load usage but never does... just keeps spinning. Can’t fix by reloading app or changing setting on phone. Please fix!

Now all i can do is add airtime from my app. I used to use it to keep track of how much data I was using, now the data bar won't ever load so I just constantly go over.

Go to home screen and slide all to the left. add straight talk to your widgets list. it will show data usage

This app is garbage it only displayed the data info the first time I opened the app. Customer support was not helpful at all kept telling me to do the same thing over and over and re download the app. Straight talk apparently doesn’t give a crap about this issue. going to switch service soon. Straight trash is more like it!!

This app is great. You can see your data usage and determine if you need to upgrade or downgrade on data. You can also enroll in auto pay and you get a discount. Please sign up for the rewards program. It’s worth it. Every time you buy airtime you get reward points that add up and you can use those points to receive free airtime. I also like being able to skip long lines to buy minutes.
Didn’t work at first, but deleted it, got it again, and it was there!

TERRIBLE! Took several days to get my number ported over. Notable decrease in speed from AT&T. My data usage won’t upload which is convenient for them since I’m on the most expensive plan. If I saw I wasn’t using the full data I could save myself some money and reduce my plan. The app also won’t allow me to use the paste feature for my password and the updates are far and few between.

Several months ago, I started getting the circle of death while trying to retrieve my data useage..... all it does it just sit there and keeps making the circle, 5 minutes later, it is still sitting there. And for some strange reason, it has me keep logging in, over and over....

Data usage worked fine when I first downloaded the app and now all it does is just spin.
Talked with support they are aware of it but not fixing it.
Seems like they are in it for more money by having you text (which uses minutes/data) to see how much you have left.
For the rewards, it takes over a month before it’s added on my account. I still have points in pending status and it’s been since November.

I’ve had this problem with Straight Talk and Tracfone for 6 months or longer now. I’ve even reinstalled both apps and they won’t retrieve my data information. I just get the circle of death that keeps going and going and going...well, you get the idea. I have to go on the websites anyways so this app gets 1 star because it does show when your plan is going to expire. Update it people so we don’t have to use the website or text. Is that not what these apps are for? Convenience? Then fix it.
I love straight talk theirs no contract so no late fees.!!!!

My first cell was Bell Atlantic Mobile which became Verizon. I switched to Straight Talk. A few years later I went to work for AT&T and switched to them. Big mistake. Didn’t take long and I’m back. When I use the chat feature for help the reps are friendly, knowledgeable and resolve my question in one contact!
Disappointed in what customer services called a glitch 2/5
Except for the past several months I always received text message notifying me that I only a week or so left on my plan before I would need to refill it. However for the last several months I have not received any notifications, the only indication that something was wrong was the loss of phone and mobile access, which has resulted in dropped calls, loss of internet while trying receive documents, or my current favorite; google maps losing connection in the middle of a trip in another state. After this last time I contacted a customer service rep and stated the issues I was having, I was informed that there was glitch or software error on their part and that was it. No solution, just a scripted apology, basically left in limbo. My family members and friends who also have straight talk still receive notifications; this is what I find annoying, how has a glitch on their end affected me and not members of my family who use similar phones and data plans. My rating will stay low until I have been given a detailed answer and solution to this annoyance.

It was great while it worked for around 2 months then it will not show my data usage, I just get that little wheel going around and around. I am on prepay and that is all I need from this app. I tried reloading it but still the same result. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

The prepaid concept is great, but they do not understand the meaning of customer service. They are often very difficult to get ahold of, and they have been known to hang up prematurely. I have been a loyal customer for several years, and I do not deserve to be treated this way!
Also, one thing that really frustrates me is they no longer allow you to check your data usage, so you have no way of knowing if you are overpaying for data you don’t use. This is unacceptable. It feels very much like a scam!
A few bugs that need to be taken care of 3/5
The section that usually informs you to the amount of data used and remaining is replaced by “Retrieving Information” and a loading wheel. This never changes and I cannot find away to fix it. Tested with iPhone 6 and 6S plus

I having this issue for about two weeks now but everytime I open the app my data usage information will not load up. It doesnt matter if I'm on wifi or using my cellular data. I have even tried uninstalling &&' reinstalling the app and nothing seems to work. Can you please fix this issue because I really rely on the app when I am checking my data usage.

I’ve been a customer for a few years now. Very satisfied with the product. No hassle, no gimmicks and no contract. I totally control what I do with it. I do not miss the hidden and unnecessary fees. I wish that there was a program available for smart watches though. And, better discounts on phone upgrades.But definitely do not plan on going back to mainstream wireless service anytime soon.

This APP is really horrible. It constantly freezes and or crashes. It never gives you the amount of estimated data used as it is supposed to. It just keeps spinning & never stops. I waited for 27 minutes before just to see how long it’d take to finish & it never finished. This APP needs to be removed from the APP STORE. The Face ID recognizes you but then it won’t open your account. This is the WORST APP EVER !!!!!

Updated app and it won’t show usage,app is useless.
This app has a bug, I removed this app so many times n turned my Apple iPhone 6 n still says “ retrieving information “. I chatted with 2 different people n still not helpful.
I really enjoy being with Straight Talk/Apple iPhone 6. I refuse to reinstall this app on my phone
