This app is crap; I have lost ticket sales twice now…that’s over $200.00. Do NOT use this service; use any reseller but STUB HUB. The problems began right after the new app came out; MLB links season ticket holder tickets to Stub Hub. If you can’t attend a game, you pushed the tickets to Stub Hub via a link and then punched in the sales price and your tickets posted. Stub Hub fees are steep but you got something for your tickets which is better than nothing.
The old app allowed you to quickly view your listings, your ticket sales, and any expired tickets that did not sale. The week after the new app loaded I noted a set of tickets I listed were no longer listed. When I attempted to reload the tickets, I got a message that informed me that the app was not available for the week—yes, the week. If you were an MLB ticket seller, you were out of luck.
Now it’s happened again! I noted this morning there was no listing of a sale for my tickets to last nights game; it should have listed as sold or expired. Neither. The tickets did NOT list, but my parking pass, which I can no longer add to my seat tickets, sold. I missed it because it’s very hard to check your listings on the new app—no one step here!
In summary, the old app allowed you to automatically load your tickets from MLB to Stubhub. The new app does not allow an auto load from MLB; you must type the bar codes in for each ticket—plenty of room for error. The old app allowed you to view your listings with a push of one button. The new app requires you to go through your profile, and after multiple pull downs view your listings. Expired listings no longer appear; currently, the only past sales listing are my sales from my tickets in 2021.
I am moving to another vendor—there is NO advantage to using this sorry app and paying their big fees with no automation. I’ll manually type my MLB bar codes into another reseller’s system.

New update stinks for sellers and buyers. As a seller you can no long see how many tickets are listed for the event you are listing. That is important information. As a buyer, you no long see seat numbers your considering before buying. Seats 3 and 4 are much better than 11 and 12. Hope someone at stubhub reads this and changes it back

whoever approved going live with this garbage update deserves to be fired. very glitchy, and one of my favorite features of how many tickets are available for an event to help know when is the right time to buy was removed. filtering issues as well. the old app was perfectly fine so there was zero rush to prematurely put this out there.

They ruined everything, can’t zoom in, lists tickets wrong, shows me my sales from last year rather than most recent, aisle seat doesn’t work, took out best value tickets which I used as a buyer and seller!!
They also messed with their website making it worse too!!!!

New interface is horrible, being able to even find which team/event you’re looking for is a pain now, let alone the fact that they now hide which seat numbers you’re picking,how many tickets are left, or a view of the venue(even professional league sports teams no longer have a rough view from the seat you’re looking at). Absolutely atrocious interface that makes this app borderline unusable.

I can’t believe Stubhub changed their app. It was so easy to find tickets anywhere and use the app. Now it’s a train wreck I can’t find anything fast. The other ticket apps have passed Stubhub by. Can’t believe they did this! Why change something that was working?!

I don’t know how such a large company with so many resources could mess up an update this badly, but wow, they did it! Stubhub, both the app and the website, are now basically pure garbage. Someone at corporate had the great idea of taking a service that was fantastic and turning it into a heap of steaming trash.

The new interface is gross. It is so unfriendly to use. I’ve bought and sold many tickets of StubHub but it’s no fun using the app. I’ve been looking the past month on SeatGeek at three concerts this summer. SeatGeek is much easier to use, night and day. I like you StubHub, please scrap what you’ve done, I know you can do better.

The app is now completely useless. They even admit as much in their own FAQ. They acknowledge problems with listing tickets from a season ticket holder account but apparently they don’t have a fix in place and aren’t working on one. And to make matters worse, their customer service is worthless. They tell you they will fix your listings so people can actually see them but then nothing happens. Don’t waste your time with this dumpster fire of an app!

I don’t know why they thought the app needed an overhaul. App used to work flawlessly but now is unusable. Selecting custom dates to search for events doesn’t work correctly. When searching for seats for a baseball game I can’t select more then one section at a time. Please bring back the old app!!!!
Edit: I found the toggle to allow for multi-selection but I would still like the app to go back it’s old self!

Why is best available no longer a feature? I search giants for tickets and it doesn’t recognize my local Major League Baseball team?….. apps updates usually are better…. This significantly made stubhub more difficult and less desirable to use!

Bought mlb tickets in May for a July game. Money came out of my account, was emailed my receipt and order number, and my tickets were viewable in the app. About 2 weeks later i went to look at my tickets and the app said i had no current order. Tickets were gone. I called customer support twice and they told me to download the ballpark app to see my tickets. That didnt work. I was told that stubhub was going through a merger and that things were hectic at the moment so they told me to try the app again in about a week and if my tickets still werent showing up to call them back again. Well ive called twice now and ive waited 2 weeks now and still not resolved. The game is in 2 weeks so i guess ill have to call them again and see what’s happening. Ill never use stubhub again. The app has been completely ruined for seemingly no reason at all.

They decided to longer display seat numbers for MLB tickets. Why on Earth would a company decide to provide less information for consumers. I used to use StubHub all the time but it’s not worth the fees etc when they won’t even tell me the exact seats I am buying prior to the purchase. I won’t use them again.

This used to be my first stop for tickets. Your new update is terrible. Search results are very poor. I am ALWAYS searching for Washington Nationals tickets. When I search Nationals now, I get Fredericksburg Nationals….I’ve never been to one of their games and have bought 10 games per year to the Washington Nats from Stub Hub. Hard to search for seats now. It’s impossible to see where the seats are. Overall I’ve totally migrated to Seat Geek because this new app is so so bad. Makes me sad that my former go to is now so bad.

Whoever designed the new app should be fired immediately! How do you take a perfectly working, easily used interface and completely ruin it? It used to be easy to list tickets, now it’s a nightmare. Used to be able to compare ticket pricing to list at the market, now it takes an extra 5 minutes. A hope another competitor puts you out of business ASAP. If I could zero stars I would, this app is now a complete joke

I’ve used Stubhub for over a decade and the app and website have run smoothly. Now it’s super glitchy. It’s making it difficult for me to search for seats in a particular section and it thinks I selected seats that I don’t want and won’t let me use the back arrow to remove the selection and start over. I’ve shut the app down a few times, gone thru the website instead, and even deleted and reinstalled the app and am still having problems. Please fix these bugs. In addition, I know you’ve been having issues with MLB tickets. Given you’re an official partner of MLB and we’re in the thick of MLB season, you’d think fixing these glitches be of highest priority. Also, you used to list MLB tickets until right before game time. Now, 2 hours and 40 minutes before first pitch, the listings are gone. You used to be my go to app for buying MLB tickets. With all these glitches, tickets being delisted, and inability to reach someone on Twitter or by phone, I’ll need to look elsewhere for Mets tickets. Also, given concerts, games, and events take place on weekends in the Eastern time zone, you’d think robust customer service would be available on weekends.

Whoever allowed this to happen should be under review. The app before was garbage but now it’s unusable. Thoughtless ux design and so frustrating to use. Your fees should be under federal federal investigation too. Can’t wait until a real competitor disrupts or you guys learn to make a useful product.

Lost hundreds of dollars because stubhub somehow could not actually display my listing on their app or allow me to list the mobile tickets elsewhere, and customer service refused to assist for anything other than issues with games happening that day (very helpful when selling tickets for a 1pm game). Completely broken app and website. Never ever again.

I have no issues with stub hub the company. I have purchased many tickets from them over several years. This is strictly about their piece of crap app. Every upgrade is a regression. The inability to set preferences and keep them is obnoxious. This app becomes slower and less user friendly with every “upgrade”. StubHub went from my first choice in tickets to I will only consider if there are no other options.
Why would you get rid of favorites? Are you purposely trying to make this the worst app update in the history of app updates? Please put it back, now.

Not sure what was wrong with the previous version of this app but the update is terrible. Can’t switch customs dates, always wants to start on current day, can’t move start date to a future day.

The old saying “Don’t fix what ain’t broken” has never applied more strongly to an app.
In earlier iterations, StubHub allowed searches of dates and would list all events for a specific radius around the user’s location. No more - the app is now programmed to show only the handful of suggested artists.
Goodbye, StubHub; you are now useless to me.

It’s so awful now. Aren’t updates supposed to improve apps? I can’t scan barcodes, can’t see what prices other tickets are going for, it’s very confusing to navigate. Didn’t you test this before rolling it out? YUCK
