Best Workout App Out There 5/5
I’ve used Sworkit for a while now and no other workout app can compare. I’ve tried a handful of other apps but none offer the same variety and feel that Sworkit does. They even upgraded my account to Premium for free because I’ve been using the app for so long! Super awesome!
Annoying Voiceover 2/5
Used to love this app but then the narrator lady started to describe every workout as if I didn’t have eyeballs and there is no option to turn it off. Extremely frustrating and ruined my workout.
By Mama Alma
So easy to use and I am able to customize my workouts!
Great workout app 5/5
I’ve been using Sworkit on and off for years and I haven’t found a better workout app. This app is great because if you need it instructs you with both voice and visual examples, and if you have an Apple Watch you can use it hand free since it syncs with your Apple Watch and will notify you when to change exercises.
Excellent and convenient! 5/5
Really wipes away any excuse from not having time to work out with routines as short as 5 minutes and requiring absolute no equipment. Love it!
Great App 5/5
I’m loving this app. I can’t go to the gym all the time so this app partially brings the gym to my house. The app is so well maintained as well.
Great work out App 5/5
I love the fact that it syncs to Apple health app so I can keep track of my exercise and calories for the day
AMAZING WORKOUT APP- MUCH RECOMMENDED 5/5
I absolutely love this app!!! It brings a wide selection of workouts based on what part of the body you would like to work on and what type of workout you would like to have (cardio, strength, yoga, etc). I use the app for workouts on toning my legs and strengthening my core.
Awesome workout app 4/5
This is a great app overall. It’s pretty flexible and allows for custom workouts, but the pre-made plans are where it shines. They’re fun, challenging, and easy to understand.
The reason I’ve given four stars instead of five is that most of the pre-made workouts are blended cardio and strength, which is perfect for burning calories or for beginners trying to improve overall fitness but may not be ideal for intermediate exercisers who want to build muscle.
don’t get it if you don’t have money 1/5
honestly I would rate it a zero. I used to use this app all the time, but now with all these updates you have to have a subscription. im only 16 I’m not able to work because my parents won’t let me so I can’t afford these subscriptions. I used to use swork it bc it was the only one that was free and had good workouts, but now that that’s gone the app is useless to teenagers and ppl who can’t or are not willing to pay and useful for ppl who are willing to pay for a subscription.
Great Options for Any Level 5/5
I’m well versed in the different workouts available, however, I still get overwhelmed putting together my workout plan. This app does all the thinking for you and you can adjust based on your skill level - beginner to advanced. I just love all the options available.
Not working 1/5
I was a frequent user of this app but recently I cannot get to the exercise page. The clock icon keeps pulsing but nothing happens. It is so frustrating when you are ready for a workout, then you ended up fighting with the app for 10 mins for nothing. Not a good experience at all.
By Well Aged Scotch
I know what body part I want to workout but can’t think of good exercises on the fly, this app fixes that.
This app saved my life in menopause! 5/5
I had no energy no will I was so stiff and didnt want to join a gym... I had shoulder pain knee pain etc
Little by little I started w 5 min... now a year after I am very fit! My waist is very small my butt is perky I am very happy and no pain at all
Keeps Me Honest, Focused, and Positive! 5/5
This great app reminds me to workout and makes me want to see the results. The plans are perfectly tailored to my needs and the exercises are explained and demonstrated in a way I can understand.
Can’t get app to go beyond subscription page 1/5
I used Sworkit way back when it was free, and it was amazing. I got busy and my workouts slacked off. When I tried to use Sworkit again after it became subscription, I could not get the page showing subscription options to load. It just hangs there frozen. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times over the past few months, hoping this was a bug that would be corrected, but it’s still stuck on this initial page. I loved Sworkit and would be willing to pay for it, but it won’t let me!! (Developers, if you’re reading this, any ideas why this is happening?)

This app was so helpful for workouts!!!
Recent update = fail 1/5
App does not sync with Apple Health.
App introduced music, which adds unnecessary step to start workout since I don’t/won’t use it.
Keep it simple and test before releasing please!!
What happened?!? 1/5
The app now demands that you pay a monthly fee I remember when the app was completely free but now you can embed get a free trial or even a few free workouts what the hell happened?
If you don’t have money, it’s not for you. 1/5
By Life is Interesting
If you’re like me and your just a simple teenager who doesn’t even make money to even afford anything, don’t even download. I used to love this app and it was my absolute favorite; the exercises were unique and weren’t too easy unlike other apps, but then again, it used to be free. It cost a crap ton of money too. Gyms are expensive.. this is why people resort to apps, but what happens when they both are? Youtube is annoying as I would like to do a workout without all the distractions it has. Sad to use a free app you loved then come back and it’s not even usable for you anymore..🙄This app shouldn’t even be considered a “free” app because it is not free not matter what you do.
No More Aimless Workouts 5/5
I have been using Sworkit on and off for three years. When I am at the gym I have no problem keeping a cardio regiment. But, short of hiring a personal trainer, it can be difficult to stay consistent with stretching, upper body, and core workouts week to week. The sworkit app has always been a mainstay to provide workout guidance that supplements my cardio. And it is perfect for when I am far from my gym and want to workout in the road.
App Crashes 1/5
I LOVE this app and use it often. I’m giving 1 star because here recently it has been crashing at the end of every workout I do, and sometimes in the middle of a workout. I don’t know if it is because of the recent update or what, but it is very frustrating.
Update: the crashing was fixed, however, now when I do a workout the watch app is not syncing or something causing ZERO calories burned to be logged.. where is used to log everything prior to updates. That is super frustrating when you burn 200 ++ calories in a 20-30 minute workout and nothing is recorded. This app is really started to frustrate me.
I have used Sworkit for years off and on. I have loved it because I was able to workout at home and have it sync to my Apple health. With that being said, I was VERY shocked when I just went to redownload the app and it asked me to choose a subscription plan. I loved this app prior because you weren’t required to have a subscription plan, but you could go premium if wanted. While I understand why they went to a subscription plan, I, unfortunately, will not be able to continue using this app.
Great but I’d like to be able to lock my phone and have the app still function 4/5
I really like this app, from getting to customize your workout and the lengths/times of workouts and breaks. BUT please I would love if you guys would make it so that you can lock your phone and still have the app active. I like to listen to my headphones while I workout and I put my phone in a workout waistband buuut when I do any cardio or stepping movements the app will pause itself or go to music options and then I end up not knowing how long I really did that exercise. I have very little time and I like my workouts very time efficient so it can be really frustrating. Otherwise I love everything about this app! So if you guys could make that a feature, that’d be amazing!
Being the best me 5/5
Sworkit is awesome! The plans are doable and I’m feeling like my best self 🥰
Can’t I listen to my own music? 2/5
I like this app, but I want/need to be able to play my own Spotify or Apple playlist over their music (while using the Apple TV app—the main way I use this app), and I can’t airplay via my phone while the workout is going either.
Great App, Doctor Recommended 5/5
Workouts for anywhere-home, gym, work! No excuses; love it!
No longer free 1/5
No longer free and makes you sign up for membership.
It’s good but It keeps crashing 3/5
By darth treya
This is a really good app, and it’s great for fitness, but it has crashed 2 times in a 1 hour period, and sometimes it will say a certain workout (like butt kickers) but it will do another work out (like high knees)
10/10 babes 5/5
By nino chokolino
as a teenage girl i’ve tried like a billion of other fitness related apps and not one comes close to being as good as this one! it was really helpful when i was just a beginner and now i enjoy exercising. i’ve had my ups and downs, but the app helped me lose 20kg in total in a span of a year without changing my eating habits. 10/10 would recommend :)
Wonderful App 5/5
By Mrs jsw
I have enjoyed this app and the results!
Worth every dollar of the subscription 5/5
At first, was apprehensive about spending upfront on subscription. Worth it in every way!
Triathlete who loves app 5/5
Great app! Loving the flexibly program and use it every day. Starts my day off with my music and ‘oiling’ my joints to start the day! Love the fact I can do as little as 5 minutes! Customize the workouts. Send my athletes a custom workout they can do! Game changer for me and it goes to strava!
Nice selection of exercises 5/5
Updated- long time user and was delighted with this app. Their new subscription model caused some headaches and perhaps the transition could've been handled better but all is good, and it seems the developer is truly committed both to their userbase and continued improvements to their app.
Not a free app... 1/5
Requires a 15$ a month subscription. Not free. Avoid.
It never works 1/5
By Miss Lindsey xo
I’ve had this app for 4 months now and it hasn’t worked more than it has. It constantly loses progress, says one workout is upcoming then a different one pops up, sometimes the entire app just won’t load the workouts, it miscounts the countdowns, and so much more. All I get from support is that it’s a bug and it’ll be fixed with the next update...okay? So what do I do with this $30 app until then? Cancelled my membership today.
I use to love this app! It was perfect for me because I don’t have any kind of schedule I can stick to and it made working out whenever I could so easy! And with some of the physical health problems I have, being able to customize your workouts made it so much better for me. But now that you have to pay to even use the app, I’m very disappointed and upset. The best part was that I could do all of that for free because money is very tight and I don’t have any to spare for an app. I’m sorry but I will not be recommending to anyone anymore.
I like the fact that you can do very short workouts and break up a sweat!
Wish it was free still 3/5
This was my only way of finding time to work out, being a high school student and having a part time job. It saddens me that now it’s a subscription plan and it’s not free anymore. I loved using this app so much
After using and enjoying Sworkit for over a year, I was informed it was moving to a premium service are and that I could keep my “free” status for a onetime, $1 fee by giving them access to my credit card outside of the Apple App Store. I can’t imagine that’s consistent with their terms with Apple, and it struck me as shady.
You Ruined The App!!!! You guys Turned Into Greedy Pigs😡 1/5
I love Sworkit as I’ve been using it since Early 2016. However you guys changed it and ruined it! I’m a teen I don’t have money like that. I loved this app along with Fitbit but it is now just as bad as the other ones. Sadly I’ll have to use YouTube now 😢. I’m as motivated anymore. Pls change it back!!
Might need an offline mode to avoid ui rendering 3/5
The app asks you to customize workout, but it doesn’t stick to the workouts you pick. It randomly picks it from the pool. This bug needs to be fixed! The workouts in general are good for people on the move or don’t have access to gym equipment
Update: This seems to be a feature than a bug. Thank you devs for helping me through it. Also, I observe that sometimes the UI ( workout type selection or between workout) for certain workout keeps loading or gets stuck. Might be due to network lag or your server sending ui components constantly whenever someone on next . Might want to provide an offline mode to avoid any network related interaction issues.
At first we didn’t have to. Good app
Great workout app 4/5
By j micah
The selection of workouts is really good, and I hope to see more workouts added.
100% satisfaction, but... 5/5
The App overall is amazing, efficient, beneficial. It’d be cool if “Muscles worked” imagery was included, from each stretch to a specific workout. Other than that it’s imo the best.
I purchased this app for $5 in 2013 and it was PERFECT. It had all the HIIT and Tabata workouts I was looking for in less than half an hour. Now you have to pay for a monthly subscription for $15 just like every other app on the market. I hate those business models and had I known the makers of this app would sell out, I never would have wasted my money!
Bait and switch to a overpriced subscription 1/5
Not worth what they charge and the only reason they have high reviews is because of the old sworkit. The new sworkit is doomed.
Was free, now it is only a subscription. 1/5
By Lost the app in the divorce
This used to be free and I loved it, but not worth the money to pay for it. There is so much out there that is free, so I will look elsewhere.
Just another subscription based app... 1/5
Used to use it when it was free mostly for the stretching but give me a break, $15 per month? Some places charge that much for a gym membership. Paying that for an app that I use every now and then for stretching prior to the gym is ludicrous. 👎👎 Go back to the simple free work outs. If the paid stuff is as good as you say then it’s not taking anything away from it, is it?
