T-Mobile Content Transfer App

T-Mobile Content Transfer allows you to easily transfer your contacts, pictures and videos from your old phone to your new phone. Simply download the app on both phones, follow the prompts to connect the phones and transfer your content via Wi-Fi. You’ll be provided the total transfer time and you have the option to transfer only the content that you need now. When you pair the phones again and restart the process, any content previously transferred will be skipped.

  • It is dumb that this needs my credit card info 2/5

    By Krtsyallion
There should be no “in app services” just be a free app
  • Doesn’t work 1/5

It doesn’t work, just erroneously says my receiving iPhone doesn’t have WiFi, when it does.
  • Need WiFi signal 5/5

    By Jennzapoo
You’ll need a strong WiFi signal to do this and the transfer will go smoothly. I transferred over a ton of pictures which did slow the process down, but it was worth it! All info was there including my contacts. (Heads up ... you’ll need to re-download any apps you have on old phone and old text threads won’t be there either) I had No issues, great app, and I didn’t have to sign up with an email address.
  • Very smooth 5/5

    By Sherita Sin
After spending time in the store and having issues with the devices connecting directly with each other, I came home and discovered the app. When I used it, everything transferred so smoothly. Thanks for coming up with a quicker way!
  • Rotten apple to the Core 5/5

    By iPhone 750,iPhone Girl, ZERO
The mobile transfer works great from Android to Android. If one has an iPhone and they wish to transfer everything over to an Android smart phone,It won’t work. Apple has iCloud and you can’t have anything from iCloud switched over to Android. All the photos and your contacts, your memos, Notes Calendar, Reminders, and any apps that are designed to be used only with Apple’s iOS, and on an iPhone or Mac PC, will not transfer over any of the content that is stored in the iCloud. All of it will be lost. Many of us women, that I know, all of us happy iPhone Girls, like me, that have iPhones, now realise that we must stay with the iPhone. We can never leave it or ever get rid of the iPhone. Without an Apple ID and an iCloud account, you will no longer have any access to all of the items being kept in the Apple only customer online storage of iCloud, for Apple, manufactured devices. We can’t afford to lose all of our content, so we stay and use a totally proprietary phone, that is without a SD memory slot. I have lost so many tears over my, at times totally useless iPhone. I use my $125Alcatel, REVVL Android smart phone for a backup. The iPhone is my data storage box, more or less. Oh, the extreme sadness and all of the migraines that iPhone continues to bring upon me...Sob...

It just continues to say Testing Connection and will not go any further...
  • Doesn’t completely transfer everything! 1/5

    By flippride247
Wasted my time trying to transfer my photos and video to my new phone! Doesn’t transfer all of them. Let’s say I have 600 photos on my old phone that I want to transfer to my new phone. Only 450 of my old photos would transfer to my new phone.
  • Not all Photos will Transfer 1/5

    By Zskat
Wasted a ton of time waiting for photos and videos to transfer. After almost 2 hours not all were transfer. When scrolling through photos there are a bunch of white/blank spaces in place of the photo. Super bummed. And now I get to waste more time researching what app will transfer ALL of my photos and even more time wait g for it to do so.
  • Partial photo transfer 1/5

    By C & C in SoCal
Seemed like it was working, but only moved some photos, and those are not all dates properly. Now I have a partial transfer and I have to figure out if I can use another tool to fix this or maybe just start over. Super bummed.
  • don't work 2/5

    By Dasha MRS
I've tried it but it didn't work. My new phone can't scan QR code. Can't focus on it
  • Won't let me transfer photos 4/5

    By Kassynum12
Won't transfer my photos and I don't know why, if it's enabled
  • Super quick 5/5

    By Nataly Salman
Gets the job done quickly and sends all important info wirelessly. Well done
  • Major changes required 1/5

    By Mikey T Ward
App needs ability to copy content to a encript4d web server and when we get the new phone we just add then app and enter the same user name and password which it would copy things over. This is a better option than doing over wifi since some stores require us to turn in existing phone on phone upgrade perchases. Please see if you can update app to improve this technology.
  • Fascinating 5/5

The missing link is finally here for the 📱 📲
  • Straightforward, easy to use 5/5

    By SideShowJohn
What you can transfer is limited -- photos, videos and contacts -- but it gets you out of the store quickly. In my case, I was most interested in contacts on the new phone as I left store.
