Still too buggy I can’t even set up my account or add a card to Paid for my order So what’s the point,I was going to orderTaco Bell for my family but because the apps not working I just got McDonald’s instead.

I had two rewards I went to use and the app was stuck on the loading screen sense I added the rewards to cart but did not get as far as confirming. All It did was spin so I redownloaded it and of course they are gone. I tried to contact Taco Bell but they couldn’t do anything about it blaming it on the app. It’s very glitchy.

I had push notifications for promotions turned off in my account, but I was still receiving them.

Tried multiple times to input my card info but kept getting a payment error when I confirmed my order.
I love ho easy it is to navigate the app but now that they’ve added the rewards 80% of the times my rewards don’t load so it’s pointless cause they expire fairly quickly.

App design and navigation is good. Ordering is easy and customization option is available on most of the items. The order if it goes through is also prepared with all the options.
Only thing is that app never connects to my nearby store in AZ so all app features, reward and options are useless.

I like Taco Bell don’t get me wrong. It’s just the app. When I first downloaded it, everything was working perfectly! Placed an online order for the drive thru the first time and the app was working.
But I’m giving this app two stars because the app hasn’t been letting me do an online order it says your cart doesn’t qualify for this or whatever it said. Changed locations, tried Apple Pay, etc and it still would not let me order. Deleted the app and redownloaded it and it still would not let me do an online order.
Drink size and flavor 3/5
Today I was in one a quick lunch and decided that Taco Bell would be a great place for lunch since I had a reward that was about to expire. The problems started to show around ordering a drink. DrPepper is the reason I go to Taco Bell, and many other restaurants, but I can’t select that flavor. Instead I have to put in a different drink and ask at the window for a DrPepper. I’m sure this annoys the drive thru team.
The second issue I ran into, was that I couldn’t change the size of my soda from a medium to a large. But, can select a large or medium size with a freeze. When I inquired at the drive thru, I was told I can change the drink size. This was both disappointing and upsetting.
Anyways, Taco Bell, please fix this part of the app when selecting a drink.

Your app doesn’t change the Taco Bell location so I ordered one to the last Taco Bell I was at which was 50 miles away. Nobody at the store picked up the phone for me to cancel the order and when I tried to cancel it in the app, it said I’ve never ordered anything! I have the electronic receipt and am very disappointed in the way Taco Bell is running their business. I want to regret ordering Taco Bell the next day, not before I get the food!

Ordered a combo and when I used Apple Pay to pay for my meal, it wouldn’t go through and a “tech difficulty” popped up but yet they managed to charge it to my bank account!! To make matters worse I went to the store to pick up but they said that they never got the order!
I’m deleting this app and will have to go through with my bank to get my money back.

A few updates later I’m still experiencing the bug. The quesadilla was taken off the menu only in the app. The Taco Bell I order from, has it on the menu, I just ordered one a few days ago. It seems like a bug because there’s a quesadillas section in the app which only has quesaritos on it. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite item, I’d usually add nacho cheese sauce. I love using the app so I can customize everything, however I won’t be changing my review and rating until the quesadilla issue is fixed.

Wouldn’t take my log in. Wouldn’t send me an email for password reset (twice). Glitches in the order twice after trying two payment methods to be sure it wasn’t that. Had to order when I got there.

The app itself is fairly easy to use. I have, however, experienced problems ordering specific items. While they are shown as available on the app, they are not available at my selected location. I then have to change my order and replace things which is frustrating.

Bad Update! Beware 2/5
The latest update zapped my rewards. It loads and loads and loads forever and then shows zero points and no rewards. Yes, I am logged into my account, and yes, I tried restarting my phone. They also changed the “show more”/“show less” glitch that happens in the checkout screen when you have made several modifications to an item. It still glitches, but now it glitches differently.
Update: The new update fixed the rewards bug. But it would be nice if they would test the updates themselves rather than just waiting for bug reports from reviews.
This app is absolutely terrible. This app use to work great until a couple months ago when I tried ordering through the app and it wouldn’t accept my card. I thought my card was the problem at first until I realized it wasn’t because I was able to by stuff elsewhere. I’ve tried multiple times to get things through the app but it always says there’s an error with my card and I know there is not. I’m frustrated and angry because I would like to use the app to gain points and rewards for future visits to Taco Bell but there is really no point to the app if it’s never going to work.

Unable to get refund 1/5
Last night (1/14/2021) I placed an order on the app for a meal. Upon arriving at the restaurant a worker met me outside the drive-thru letting me know that they were out of many ingredients, including rice and chicken, and thus couldn’t complete the majority of my order. I asked the worker if they knew how I could get refunded for the order, but he said they did not and I would have to fix it on the app. So I left the Taco Bell and tried to fix the issue back home.
I first tried to cancel the order, but the app did not allow me to. From there I went to the help section, but could not find any information as to how to receive a refund for an incomplete order. The app said that the order was being prepared, although I knew this wasn’t the case considering the worker had told me so. I emailed Taco Bell customer service and they have yet to get back to me, over 12 hours later. When I check the app now, it says the order was completed even though that was not the case. I’m extremely disappointed as to how difficult it has been to get a refund, and am still waiting for help.

Still disappointed in the lack of ability to scan when ordering through the drive thru. Despite that I decided to give this app a try. I’m glad I made sure to double check my order before purchasing because one of the toppings I removed was no longer on my order and the side of spicy ranch I ordered somehow turned into avocado ranch. Not only that, but I didn’t receive any points which is the only reason why I downloaded this app in the first place.

Lacking functionality and benefit 1/5
The app directed me to order from a location that is closed for remodeling. When getting there and realizing the location was closed despite it being listed as open on the app, I had to cancel the order and redo the entire process at another location on the opposite side of town. There is absolutely no benefit to me having or using this app other than to order a quesarito.

I love the app when it actually works. I have used this app for a year and just recently started experiencing these issues. Even though it shows my card as an option for payment it always shows an error when I click it so I have to always enter the same card as if I don’t have a card on file. I also have rewards I can’t access because this app is messed up. It still allows me to order food but that’s about it. The rewards don’t work or save and you have to constantly enter your payment information it’s ridiculous.

Overall an okay app. I don’t like how you can only get points from ordering online. I should be able to scan in store and get points when I order in store or drive thru.
Biggest frustration right now is the notifications. Every time I open the app it tells me I more notifications than I did before I opened it. There’s no option in the app to look at messages or notifications to clear them. Hopefully they will fix this with the next update.
Add-Ons need portion sizes 1/5
the app doesn’t let me choose the portion size (easy/regular/extra) for Add-Ons. I want Extra 3 cheese blend for my burrito but it doesn’t give me that option. It only lets me have the regular amount of 3 cheese.

I order my food and it said my card wouldn't work. When I tried again it did the same thing. Then I went and looked at my online banking app and it charged my card twice. Do not use this app.

Every time I use this app I have a new issue. It will either log me out, and refuse to let me sign in any other way, delete my order before I can pay, or maybe refuse to let me pay. Oh and one time, for about 2 weeks it refused to even SHOW ME THE MENU. A complete joke and I swear it’s God testing me, telling me not to get Taco Bell. Often when I have issues with this app, I decide to eat somewhere else because of this disaster of an app.

These food apps are really bad. They take your money. But any problems. There is no customer service to get a refund . Restaurants claim “the app” must refund the money. In the app, no customer service number at all.

Ordered, went to pick up. Was told there was no order for me, rudely. When I showed the order on my phone, you sure it’s not another restaurant. I showed her the address, she said she didn’t know and walked away. Finally someone noticed me and found my order. But the order was wrong and they then stood there and told me I ordered wrong. So I showed them the order. Then they acted annoyed and eventually corrected. There was 4 employees and I was the only customer.
