Ok app but messages get confusing 3/5
By Not zapping up
From a parents stand point this app is fine for communication regarding games, but if needing to send messages, a group text message is better in my opinion.
The message threads get confusion. Every time a new message comes in it comes in separately. Pictures sent don’t get downloaded or something. All we can see is a black and white picture of a small camera instead of the picture being sent.
I have other apps which allow for a sign up page to be able to coordinate food and items needing for games and I didn’t see anything on this app.
Great app! 5/5

I am a member of GS of Eastern MA through this app. I love getting the notifications right away so I can stay on top of what’s going on with our fall sale. Awesome app!!
Love this app 5/5
Its a great app. Easy to use, simple to communicate with the team and coordinators, and when supported by the team officals it’s up to the minute info that makes schedule changes for games and practices very convenient. I just started using this app for my grade school boys and their school cross country team. My three kids are big in sports, two different schools, two separate community sports groups, three separate sports activities. I just wish ALL of my kids sports programs and coaches were using this app!
Soccer 07 blue Coach Ivan 5/5
It was a great experience and the coaches are very nice to the players.😀😀

They need a summary list instead of clicking each calendar day.
Team App 5/5
Really easy to use and get updates immediately via chat. Keep up the good work
Is there a way to silence the notifications? 3/5
The notifications drive me crazy and wake me up. I can’t find anywhere in settings how to silence the notifications without completing turning it off. Am I missing something?
Needlessly complex and frustrating to use.
Hard to use 3/5
By Coach GU12 France
Instructions are not clear and having a heck of a time setting up. Wish it was easier to use. I first used it as a parent and it was great but now using it as a coach is a nightmare and not sure it is even working...
Crashes constantly 1/5
I have removed and rebooted phone and reinstalled multiple times and the app crashes on me every time. I can view for a few seconds and then gone.

Can’t sync schedule to my iPhone calendar. Useless app
Good idea....needs work!!! 3/5
The app never updates info correctly. Parents have been receiving info hours or days later. We rely on the app to give current info because we are informed when the buses will arrive to pick up our kids and a 3 hour difference can be a nightmare.
Also it shows badges signaling notifications that aren’t there.
Sooo slow 1/5
By Cutie or fat
Very slow, tells me I have notifications I already opened. For weeks on end.....

I love it fir updates on football and reminder notices. Great app!
Smart App 5/5
Very user-friendly and helpful to see where all of our teams are playing as well as the league schedule👍👍
Not user friendly 1/5
Wayyy too many advertisements! Difficult to navigate! GroupMe is so much better!
Great App! 5/5
My daughter's 70+ team volleyball club uses this app and i loved it so much i set it up for my son's basketball team. So easy to use! I really like the team chat, events and photos features! It keeps parents plugged in even when they are not traveling with the team.
Not as good as Team Snap 1/5
Team Snap was so easy to use. This one definitely comes with a learning curve.
Just ok 2/5
I’ve used other team sports apps and this one falls short. There’s no way to add events (practices, games), that have been entered by the admin, directly to your icalendar or google calendar. There is no place to upload or share photos. And the user experience in the chat feature is poor. It’s difficult to tell who is sending which text message, especially when you’re in a group with long conversations.
Constantly crashes 1/5
Crashes every time I open an event. Every. Single. Time.
Team App 3/5
I love the app. My only complaint is that every time I’m in the app it shuts down and goes back to my homepage! Drives me nuts....Other than that it’s extremely helpful.
Great app 5/5
Keeps me in touch with my coach and also lets me communicate with the team if I have too
Very Useful App, but needs email synchronization 4/5
Very useful app. It’s so nice to have all the details in one place especially when you’re managing multiple kids across the same club. The chat function is especially helpful for keeping up to date on last minute schedule changes. One recommendation to further enhance the app would be to enable the competitive calendar to synch with your local calendar. Keep up the good work!!
Team App 5/5

A really great app loaded with tons of stats if used correctly!
The app is not working properly. Every time I log on to view game schedules, the app just stops working and closes. This happens between 5-10 seconds after login.
If this could be fixed in the next update that would be great!
As of today, September 6, 2018 the app is still glitchy. We have been told by our school AD to check Team App for any and all changes to our sport schedules. That’s difficult to do when the app crashes ALL THE TIME. As soon as I click on my sport’s schedule, the app crashes, giving no time to view the schedule.
Missing a function or two 3/5
The app does it's main job very well. However, I get flooded with messages that should be private notes between a player and a coach or tons of parent request I have no business knowing about. There should be a way to filter out the extra messages. Not fun to weed through42 messages that don't apply.
Too many posts 2/5
By Busy Bee 3
I feel like every time I put my phone on there is another messages. And I still have a problem getting logged in🙄
Not as good as teamsnap or game changer. Have to use for dd current school team.
It keeps saying u can’t load the information so when I go to view what my coach is saying I can’t see it..
Stay far away! 1/5
If you enjoy having your time wasted then this is the app for you. If you have one team with one set of users (players only, not parents) then this app may be ok. Anything more than that will waste your time as you will be constantly fixing things, reconciling availability, etc.
The app and online experience are over-complicated for no reason. The user experience is sub-par. The ability to link player and parent is a nightmare. Is does not show availability across multiple events at one time if you want to plan ahead. We have to use a separate spreadsheet. Which defeats the purpose of the app.
I am constantly receiving complaints from parents. Stay far way and use apps like TeamSnap, First Touch, or even Shutterfly (yes the holiday card company has a far better app). They may cost more but it is far worth it to no use TeamApp.
Malware and late messages 1/5
Worse than poor, this app is dangerous. When I tried to open a pdf the coach sent from my laptop, Team installed a new and suspicious website as my homepage. I just received messages on my phone today about a spaghetti dinner that happened four days ago. They weren’t there this weekend or last week when I checked for information. Aside from easy access to the season’s schedule, I can’t say anything good about this app. The coach keeps a Facebook page, and I’ve started going there instead for timely information that doesn’t install malicious websites or softwares on my tech.
Cove Buckeyes football team!! 5/5
This is the second time I use this app and I love it!
The app doesn’t always work. Chats disappear and come back. Often takes forever to load
Not a fan 1/5
I’m a parent. I don’t like how all of the other parents’ “supportive messages” get mixed up with the coach’s informational messages. There should be a way to separate out what needs to be seen. Also separating game schedules vs practices and reminders about uniforms and what colors to wear. All have different levels of importance.
Great app; calendar feature requested 4/5
8/31: 🙁Still waiting on calendar copy feature to be added back...I’d give this five stars if you’d add back the feature to add a calendar entry to your own calendar and allow a daily recurrence for a calendar entry.
Needs modification to equal other apps 3/5
I was a long-time user of a rival app (TeamSnap, 4.8/5 in the App Store), but the manager of our new team uses TeamApp.
I found sign up to be convoluted and ended up with a combination parent/child account instead of what I had intended.
Once subscribed to my team’s feed, there are two different buttons show me (effectively) my scheduled events: Events and Schedule. Similarly, there are two other buttons that have basically the same function: News and Chat.
When “News“ is posted, one may leave comments, but it does not become a chat-thread and seems to go unnoticed. Within “Chat,” having multiple chat threads may keep things “more organized,” but at the same time requires accessing multiple threads to keep up. I find one running chat thread to be more efficient.
Basically, I find that there are too many different places that one might need to go to get team information.
There is also some user interface quirkiness: If one must delete and reload the app, all news, messages, and photos are “new.” The app knew that you saw them while you are logged in but if you ever have to reload, you start over and must access them all to make them “seen” and it still doesn’t eliminate the “new“ banner. One must reopen the app for that. (And even then it doesn’t always work....)
After days of staring at the notification banner, I discovered that not only must one read the chat messages, but one must also separately tap on the Notification Inbox on the home screen of the app to clear “new” banner and red message notifications.
I love the ability to have buttons that directly open a browser to our club website and scheduling.
It is possible that this is merely a configuration issue on the part of our manager, but it should be very difficult for a user to set up a bad UI. TeamSnap does everything thing TeamApp does, but more simply and clearly.
It’s terrible. Using for a club soccer team and not easy to navigate or see updates. I use team snap for last couple years for hockey and last year’s soccer team and was easy and great. Should be able to register one kid/player with other attached family members who have access. I don’t need to reply that I’m going to a game, coach only needs to know that my kid is. Not impressed with this app.
Love this app
There needs to be a way to scroll back without going to very beginning of the chat 1/5
Not sure why this hasn’t been fixed
Pretty good 3/5
Some times the team app lags so I have to sign in again
Great App 4/5
This app makes communicating with multiple teams quickly and easily!!
Needs some tweeks 3/5
As a parent I think it is difficult to find what you are looking for. The coach made announcements and put a schedule on it, but it was not under the SCHEDULE heading. In these days of technology things need to be simplified.
Needs work 4/5
It is a good app for sure. Needs refined. Please add the option to “delete all” in the notification area. Its a real pain to do them one at a time.
Pleased with the app! 5/5
By Team Snellen
Our soccer team has been using the app as the primary means of communication for a few seasons! It’s great for real-time updates as well as repository for relevant documents, pictures, and links to schedules. I would definitely recommend to others.
I would have given 5 full stars but due to the picture options (upload one at a time) I gave it 4 . If I could upload photo album instead of individual? It would be great
Ad placement is SUPER irritating 3/5
By Emma Lema Shema
I like the concept of this app and even the look and feel. However, the pop-up ads completely interrupt what you are trying to do on the app. They disrupt my review of calendar dates and it’s very annoying.
Too many ads 2/5
I can see the benefit of this app, but there are way too many adds and getting rid of notifications is irritating.
Very useful for getting info to athletes I recommend using this for extracurricular sports it’s easier to use then most apps for getting across info to parents and their athletes
