I used to play Tetris Blitz and recently was feeling nostalgic for the game.
The game play is okay but holy crap, there is an advertisement after each and every play; it’s super excessive.
There is an option to pay a fee to be add free for a month but honestly, I don’t feel being ad free in a monthly subscription is worth it for what this app has to offer.
I will be deleting.

I don’t understand how there are so many good reviews. You play for maybe 30-45 seconds between ads. There are so many ads that last longer than game play time. Truly a waste of time

WAY too many ads. After each round there was an ad. I deleted this game and then downloaded again and now thinking of deleting again, I can’t even get into the game because an ad comes up every time.

It’s Tetris, but the ratio of game to ads is obscene. I understand that when you’re playing a game for free, you need ads, but this is ridiculous. It’s ad after ad and sometimes the sound on the ad plays even when you have sound off on phone.

This app used to be fun. You could play against others and join a team. They took away team play. They took away competitive play. I used to spend money occasionally on attacks when I was sick or snowed in. I will never spend another penny on this app. When the changes were made, my old account was suddenly accidentally deleted and the app’s customer service could not help me retrieve it.
Now they have some super lame VIP rewards. So so so dumb.
I just play on airplane mode. I have a few other Tetris like games that work ok too.
Bummed that this app took such a nose dive. It used to be 20 stars!

The actual gameplay is fantastic, but as far as I can tell it won’t let you play unless you’re connected to the internet. I don’t care at all about comparing to other people’s scores, I just want to play Tetris.

It took so long to load the first time and when it was done and played a game the ENTIRE ui was shifted to the right and there are so many ads that it makes the game unplayable.

The controls are good. You have the options to play regular Tetris or play levels! The app itself is unfinished and there’s no paid option to go ad-free which is frustrating. Overall, a great game with great potential but slowed down by ads after very level.

I really enjoy the game. The ads are unbearable. I would love to purchase to not have the ads but can’t figure out that option. I know all games have ads but the fact that it takes me a four minute worth of watching the same ads repeatedly in order to get in the game or to start a new game every single time it’s over the top. One minute of ads for three minutes of play if I’m lucky.

All I wanted was Tetris. All they had to do was make Tetris. What they did was cram in a bunch of crap like usernames and ranks and coins. You must watch ads before each game. Tetris is a simple game, you don’t need to add all that weird stuff.

They didn’t allow me to sign in even after waiting a whole day. After further investigation I’ve come to the conclusion it’s because Tetris has favorites. I will not stand for this inequality and I encourage others to stand up and tell stories of their Tetris bias stories.😠😠😖😔

The amount of and length of each ad is ridiculous. I tried to ignore it but it got to the point it just wasn’t fun anymore. Nowhere did it let me pay to not have ads, which I gladly would have paid. Deleting this app 👎👎👎

If I could give zero starts I would cuz I literally couldn’t even play the game. The app loaded enough for me to make an account with my Apple ID and then says j have no internet whether I’m on wifi or using my phone service. Everything else on my phone loads perfectly fine but I haven’t been able to get passed the loading screen on this app. It’s Tetris, why on earth do I need an internet connection to even open the app??? Downloading a knock off instead.

This app used to be better. I’m a really big Tetris player (effect, 99, tetr.io) so of course I wanted to test out the app version. I downloaded maybe a year and a half or two years ago. They used to have this nightly challenge where you could win real money for winning in your area, and it was fairly exciting and engaging. I assume it wasn’t very profitable, however, because they said they were “going on a break” and then threw a battle pass at us and never saw us again. It’s okay, but it was better before

It’s Tetris. You know what to expect. There’s an additional feature with challenge levels, though, which I like. It’s set up in an awkward configuration and you need to get a certain amount of points or line clears in a given amount of moves.
But, there is an ad after every single game. There is no way to pay for an ad-free version. If they just added that, this would be a 5-star review. I can’t stand the crummy ads on mobile games.

Not only are there too many ads, you can’t get out of them. There are some that have a tiny little “x” show up if you know enough to click the little tiny arrow. Even then you do not always leave the ad, it just keeps playing. I was really looking forward to playing Tetris, but now I’m going to look for a knock off that doesn’t have the same ad set up.
