Downloaded the app because it was my birthday and got a free habit burger. I’ve never tried habit burger before, so i was excited to give it a try and try to convince my wife to like them (she is not a burger fan anywhere except in-n-out) i used by birthday reward when i got to the restaurant only for the card to be rejected. Now, i recently moved so the zip code had not been updated on my banks end. This was very slightly annoying, but i just changed the zip code to my old address, and boom, clicked checkout except……. It now says i “recently used a promo code” and i “have to wait until using another” the problem here is that i didn’t use the code, because i couldn’t pay. You may be thinking “it’s a free burger, why are you paying anyway?” And to that i say, i got a side of fry’s and my wife a burger too. So, now i don’t get a free burger. But, since I’m at the restaurant i ask the manager if there is anything we can do because it’s annoying i accidentally used a coupon code. He says there is nothing he can do, and tells me to email habits customer service email. I did…. It’s now been 3 weeks and i have yet to get any word back. In the meantime i also got sent another coupon a tried that. It also failed because my CVC number got entered wrong on accident and same thing. “Cannot redeem a coupon after already using one recently” or whatever it says exactly, email again, still no reply. I’m writing this review now to see maybe someone at habits team cares enough about their high rating on apple’s App Store to fix this issue. Until that part of the app is fixed & habit responds to my email helping me fix this incident, habit is blacklisted for poor customer service (slow, slow, slow response time via email, manager unable to help in any fashion) and poor app design causing 2 free Burger coupons to just disappear seems a lot like a scam Just to get my in the restaurant.

App advertises promos but apparently none can be used with a delivery order? No terms against delivery are mentioned in the language. Order will not process and then when the promo is removed the item is removed resulting in incorrect order. Can’t cancel order except by calling corporate??? Fine. Just use Door Dash instead.

Can’t add any payment method other than gift card anymore. Bugs make the app so slow and there’s rarely any promos so there’s so point. There’s no rewards for ordering through the app so literally, there’s no point to this app.

Twice now I have gotten all the way to the last screen before placing my order and been faced with a problem— first it was not being able to enter my payment info and today, it was the pay button malfunctioning. Such a total headache.

I arrived at the restaurant when the app told me my burger would be ready and the order had not even been started. The cashier told me there is a time delay from when I order to when they receive my order. If this is the case, Habit should either remove this feature or accommodate for this delay. This issue means that I will not use the app. Get it together Habit. Be better.

Cannot place a pickup order 1/5
I was able to pick the store, get my order in the cart, put my card information in. Last second when trying to hit pay, would not let me choose a pickup time. I wanted ASAP but there was nothing to choose from. Cannot place an order without the pickup time. Ended up ordering dinner somewhere else.

1⭐️ Edit: I’m not 100% sure what The Habit has done to their app but mobile order no longer functions to order ahead through the app. I’ve tried probably 15 times in the last month to use the mobile order function and it just doesn’t work. I’ve called them a couple times and they can’t offer any help to rectify the issue. They don’t know what’s wrong and why it doesn’t work. Don’t bother to waste your time with downloading the app if you’re going to use it for mobile ordering until you start seeing reviews that they’ve fixed it. Waste of time unless you’re looking at the menu online.
Second edit: Developer responded to say that I should call their corporate offices for assistance despite me clearly stating that I had done so multiple times and they have not helped in any way and don’t know what the issue is or might be. I suppose they want to continue not to allow customers to be able to order from their app. Not sure why. Literally get your IT department to figure out the bugs and update the app. Don’t download this app until they update. Not worth your time.
4⭐️ My family is all vegetarian. We LOVE having the impossible and veggie burger options. And we love the ability to order on the app! It makes things super easy and an easy family favorite choice for fast food! The only thing I would really like is the ability to customize the impossible burger a little more. You can only modify what comes on it as it’s made, as in you can include or not include tomato or lettuce. But you can’t add ketchup or mustard or add extra tomato. It also doesn’t “count” as a charburger for discounts, even though it’s under the charburger tab and the veggie burger is under the sandwiches tab. Other than that, loving it so far.

First the app did not let me add an Amex card. Finally able to add discover. Checked out. Tried to hit pay- no can do. App freezes. Using an iPhone 14 pro max. Rebooted my iPhone and same thing. Buggy and flaky app. Had to use the website on my laptop.

While getting the order was good, I was extremely disappointed with the food. All of the burger patties were a fraction of the size of the bread. Skinny and no real flavor. We haven’t had Habit Burger in quite awhile but remembered it was very tasty. What happened? Won’t be going back any time soon.

You are offered better protection by using a 3rd App like Grub Hub.
The Habit App will accept orders and charge your credit card, even if the store location is closed. When you try to report the problem, there is no way to contact them directly. They will only accept your feedback via a web form. When you finally get someone to contact you, you will need to wait 5-7 days for a refund.
Other 3rd Apps, like Grub Hub or Door Dash give you immediate access to a customer service rep who will refund your money and will likely compensate you for your inconvenience. Save yourself a headache and choose one of them!

You have better protection from the Habit's poor customer service using a 3rd Party application like Grub Hub.
The Habit will accept your orders and charge your credit card even when they are closed. When you try to reach them to report that there was a problem with the order, there is no way to contact them directly. They will only accept complaints through an internet form. When you finally get someone to contact you, you will need to wait 5-7 days for a refund.
Other apps like Grub Hub or Door Dash provide immediate customer service if there is a problem. I will be off-loading the Habit's app from my device and I won't be patronizing them again.

On 2/26/23 at 7:33P I placed a mobile order at The Habit only to arrive at the restaurant to find the front doors locked. No note on the door. I knocked because I could see employees inside and eventually someone came out and told me they were experiencing an outage and could not serve food. I asked how I could get a refund and they said I needed to contact customer service via the app. That was a month ago. Never heard back from anyone. Never got a refund. Customer service is non existent via the app.
