    Recently it no longer finds our streaming stick on the network. It’s online as the regular remote works. And other Roku devices show up. But no longer will the stick show it’s on the network.

    Until this last update I had a power button on my Roku phone remote and now it is gone. I can’t turn the tv on or off with it now so it is useless to me. Our tv is mounted on the wall and I can’t reach it to turn it on and off manually and this was a wonderful tool but now it is no good. If you bring back the power button I’ll update this review.

    We’ve used this app for years. The only be thing that keeps it from being five stars is that when the app is opened, a banner saying which device is connected covers the volume buttons. So if the sound is really loud, you have to wait for the banner to clear before turning it down. Not a huge deal, but it happens literally every morning.

    I’m torn by having to write a new review about this Roku App which fails to retain App lineup each time I use—I have to refresh after just one use on my IPhone 13 Pro Max. Why is it loosing the App lineup? Sure wish you guys would find a solution & fix! After it’s fixed, I’ll update my review!

    Well one minute you can use it then boom. Some how, some way the Remote will not connect. It’s a bug I’ve had for a while now but overall great app. Also recommend anyone to get this app it’s so convenient.

    I’ve had five Roku sticks. Got one knew when they first came out have the SE but a Roku integrated TV, and a 4K Roku. One thing is consistent with all of them. The remote control is absolutely awful. Consistency is important for the business, and the Roku company consistently offers a terrible remote. Slow, glitchy, press 4 times to get 3 delayed replies, roku, remote. Fact of science.

    Please make the power button on the remote in the app less sensitive. Maybe a 3second hold to power off the tv? We always accidentally shut it off then have to navigate all the way to what we were watching.

    I’m not rating this high until the glitch stops. When you attempt to move forward, it just stops on the exact frame before it happens, this also applies to moving backwards too

    Sometimes the volume lowers itself all the way when the app is open. BUT there’s so many great things about this app that I love it! Being able to use my phone keyboard to type into search bars is a huge plus.

    Roku was my first streaming device. When I had an issue I was able to talk to someone who was knowledgeable and walked me through the issue. Unfortunately like so many other companies I see the ability to get good customer service for the products you buy, but very few have actual people answer the phone if they have a number at all. Chat online or text or robot options can’t compare to a real person who can walk you through it. I’m not sure when it happened exactly but more and more companies use robots to answer and chat online or text and while that may be fine for some others need a human to walk them through setup and technical issues. I will change my review if I get Good old fashioned customer service!

    ☹️ It’s good but the only thing that gets on my nerves is when my tv is on and I am trying to connect my phone remote to the tv and it says I need to wake the device. Meanwhile the device is already awake. So it gets on my nerves a lot.

    Well try to connect to my Roku TV. It didn’t work so then I tried to do it again and again and again and again but still it didn’t work. I tried for like five hours and it still didn’t work so I hate this app.

    I love the app very helpful but for some reason until recently private listening was fine, at the start of this week private listening is refusing to work it either doesn’t transmit sound or when I turn on private listening it disconnects from the tv and reconnects but other than that the app works as intended and I love it

    Disappointed in the app. The main reason I downloaded it was to use my phone as a remote control, but no matter what I do (as I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips) it can’t find my Roku TV in my network (it is!!). Boo.

    Itll work sometimes and when it does work its slower then a snail racing a turtle. Ill tap okay on something and it literally takes 10 seconds to work or when i open this app 70% of the time the channel pictures dont load so im constantly re closing and opening this app for it to work

    Constant 1-3 second pauses through out all streaming content. Annoying as heck. This doesn't happen with any other streaming providers.

    I was just writing a review and this app CLOSED IN THE MIDDLE OF MY REVIEW. This app disconnects from my television too often needing to be “woke up” but it rarely happens. I use this app a lot or atleast try. I’ve been using it this morning and now it can’t recognize my TV. It’s just roaming and counting down to wake up my TV although it’s connected to the same internet server. I would give it an almost 4 if this didn’t happen so often

    I have been using this app for 3-4 years. Never had a problem. Your last update changed all that. Always thinking, searching and now just doesn’t work. Won’t connect to my Roku at all. Am I irritated, yes I have no idea where my remote is and this app no longer works. TV just on. How do you remove the latest update. The track thing. I want the arrows will h the ok in the middle.

    honestly i’ve loved the app since i got it. it was always useful when losing my remote or just being fed up with having to point the remote directly at the sensor on the tv. but for the last month or so the app has been giving me serious connection issues - it refuses to find any roku device in the house, even having just been connected to one. even if i were just using the app with my tv and i come back to it, it disconnects from it and then acts like it can’t find my tv nor connect to it. idk if it’s just a glitch or a bug or what but please fix it.

    This app does everything that the Roku remote does and throws in a couple more options like voice activation and a keyboard. I understand that the goal is to make a simple and intuitive remote that is just like every other streaming remote out there, but I would really like to see an advanced layout option. Frame advance and reverse, and multiple playback speeds, and a 10 sec skip forward button would be a few examples. I would for sure trust this app over all the copy cat versions that include ads.

    Great when it’s working, but you’ll spend most of the time wondering why it isn’t connecting. Hang on to the remote that came with your TV, because this app is a poor substitute.

    It does not even work keeps saying they can’t find my tv device and it would work for like 2 days and just stop like this app is so bad idk why it keeps doing this like are u Forreal? On top of that they have bots saying it’s a good app and works so good like no it’s not. And this has been happening for over a year now my remote is not working and nun of these apps are helping me. Get it fix before I vote to get this app taken down

    how are you going to make original content and then NOT make apps for any streaming devices that aren’t rokus?? so i have to make an account and then use screen mirroring from my ipad in order to watch Weird on my tv. ridiculous. that’s a bigger antitrust case than anything else i’ve ever seen…

    Since I installed iOS 16 the app can’t find my tv and when I add tv manually using ip address then in crushed every time I’m trying using private listening. Can you fix it please? I can confirm that nothing wrong with iOS 15 version.

    I love having this on my phone, because I never know where my actual Roku remote is! I love that it can do things the actual remote cannot do. I HATE how I have to close it and reopen it multiple times a day! It’s very laggy. Please fix!!
