You can only upload, fax, or snail mail documents to TSP. The upload feature in the app does not upload. So fax or snail mail…😕 Meanwhile, literally EVERY other financial institution out there will accept an email with documents attached, but not TSP! One star.

Hard to believe but this app has gotten even worse. I could no longer log in. Kept getting a flashing screen as noted by others. I had to delete and reinstall it to resolve this new log in problem. Of course, once logged in, the app is just as slow and non-intuitive as before. No improvement.
I'll just keep using the TSP website, which, while also non-intuitive, is more responsive.

This app is beyond slow and nearly completely unusable. It barely loads anything. Good luck trying to actually make any account changes using it. I was excited to finally have an app to easily monitor my TSP, but that excitement is gone considering how terrible this app truly is.

You can’t view loans. You can’t redistribute your allotments. It USED to show a balance, but now, even that won’t work. Haven’t logged in in a while, but now it locks you in an loop of login errors, making your screen just flash constantly. Don’t advise using it currently, especially if you're epileptic! :/

Slow, clunky, impossible to navigate. Just like the the joke of a website they rolled out. Everyone associated with this should be fired. That the wealthiest government on earth rolled out a financial services website/app of this caliber is a complete embarrassment. Don’t worry, it’s only everyone’s life savings.

Usually use a much better app to track my tsp but the geniuses at tsp have made it so we can’t log into get current holdings so I figured I’d try the tsp app. It loads and then starts flashing and I have to close the app. Tried it 4 times. It will not even load to the log in. More reasons to pull it all out away from these incompetent people. This app is junk

Truly a horrible app. Super confusing to navigate through to use. It lacks organization and structure. If you’re familiar with the TSP website consider throwing away any sense of familiarity. You’d think it would be similar? You’d be wrong. It needs an overhaul.

As a developer, this is a horrible app. As customer this is a horrible app. Even the web app. Its extremely non-intuitive and missing common features found in almost all modern apps. It’s ridiculous too they did not transfer any data over when migrating to the new platform, it’s just unheard of, all history was wiped out which also make it appear your account is doing better than it really did considering all the tsp stock tanked big time. I certainly would not be using app mobile and web, or tsp for that matter is I had no choice through my employer. Disappointed all around.

Do not use this app and move your money to a more competent organization, If we the customer work together and all transfer our money out of TSP, we are essentially firing the TSP board and contractor since there will be no more money left for them to mismanage.
App version 3.1.1 fails to operate properly and contains inaccurate information; example: App identifies a “year to date rate of return” but actually reports a rate of return to date since May 2022 vice 12 months as indicated. This is clear indication of a lack of competency by the contractor and oversight. Recommend you do not install, and do not use until corrected by a competent authority. Furthermore I recommend you contact your appropriate congressional oversight representative and demand an investigation into matter and to swift action towards those responsible for this abomination.

Just downloaded the app, signed on, and dumped the app just as fast. Slow, non-intuitive, lacking in common tasks such as a date range older than a few months. I actually could not have imagined how bad it actually was. I hope the US government did not pay for this app. Save yourself time and aggravation, just use the website.

App hasn’t been updated since it’s flawed launch nearly a year ago..Sad! Thankfully, the slipshod development of this app has no direct bearing on the actual performance of the TSP funds, but it does make one wonder how much money Accenture Federal (Contractor behind this embarrassment) bilked from the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, which does indirectly affect the expense ratios for the funds we invest in. Would be great if they could claw this money back due to a failure by the contractor to perform services agreed upon. Where is the accountability?

But there are so many issues! Why can’t you stay logged in? That’s seems like a basic function of having the app on your phone rather than having to log in every time. At least allow FaceID or TouchID to log in rather than username, password and secondary factor authentication. The interface is incredibly wonky, hard to find useful things, slow, etc. and how can you not have TSP performance information since the start of your account rather than when they moved over to the new system in 2022. Given the performance of most investment apps, this is woefully inadequate and poor.

TSP is out of touch and corrupted. Fire this board and return to the prior system that was helpful and easy to use. This app and the website are both a disaster. Somebody’s palms got greased for any sensible board member to accept this replacement as an improvement. All done in the name of being able to offer access to market funds. Are you kidding me? …only this is not a joke. There are some day-traders and some savvy traders but my guess is they all make up a small minority of tsp savers. Get rid of this garbage and give us back access to our retirement savings. Fire them!…fire them all!!!

TSP moved its recordkeeping services to a new provider, Accenture Federal Services, and “updated” its website. Accenture Federal Services made an absolute mess of TSP and this should be looked into! I requested historical documents for my lawyer and they were never received. No one can connect me with the right person to talk with. Contact the TSP Board and tell them to fire Accenture Federal Services and get a competent vendor to service our TSP!

The app works 1 out of every 10 or so launches. And that’s a generous estimation. Every other time it goes through an endless loop of “Your session has timed out” prompts that disappear before you can tap try again (there is no app update available at this time).
Not to mention the fact that they didn’t make the app intelligent enough to port in TSP data from your account prior to launch last May. So you can only track <1 year of activity in the app (as of 02/07/2023).
Much like the antiquated and dysfunctional nature of CPRS, this app too is hardly user friendly and leagues behind the tech capabilities of apps created by private companies. 👎🏾

The TSP app and website are so secure even I can’t get my $$. Made a change to my investment mix two days ago and the change that occurred isn’t close to what I entered so wasted one of my two moves. Mystery distributions from my Roth account that I didn’t authorize. Cancelled installments to start over and now they can’t execute a new installment plan!!! I now have to manually request a partial withdrawal every month. The list goes on. Now seriously considering an entire balance out of the tsp to Fidelity… but hate the higher fees. 🤦

Tried to set up monthly payments. I ran into a dead end when I entered the monthly payment amount and clicked next. It couldn’t display the information so my only option was life expectancy which is more than I want for tax purposes. It’s not just the app, the website is also broken

Neither the app, nor the website are of any use to get even travel information. The search engine is pathetic. The possibility to contact with questions is non-existent. The only way to get anywhere is to call on the phone. The tax information is amazing. The performance information is lacking.
