I bought ticketsTo the Atlanta braves for my son.Unfortunately turned out he couldn’t go. So I tried to sell the tickets. Ticketmaster wouldn’t let me resell the tickets. I tried to find out why, but there is no way to get a live person to help you. The automated botsWould only say that the venue doesn’t allow resale. After much frustration, I dug into the problem and it turns out that StubHub is the exclusive seller for Fan to fan salesFor the Braves. So I could sell the ticketsBut only on StubHub. That Ticketmaster would tell me that they couldn’t be resold was misleading at best. If I can avoid it I will not use Ticketmaster again

Once they have your money they don’t care about you at all. They have a lock on live event tickets and take every advantage they can. They assign you the wrong tickets so you can’t sit together? Too bad, go pound sand. My first experience with TM was 13 years ago. It was bad then, bad now

If Ticketmaster site doesn't work in browsers on your phone don't bother with this app hoping it will allow you to access tickets. It's just a browser with a specific UI for the Ticketmaster website and will have the same errors as your browser. Unfortunately Ticketmaster practically has a worldwide monopoly on event ticket sales, but their systems are not compatible with basic security settings and require you to allow invasive levels of tracking to make and view purchases.

If 0 stars were an option, that is what I would rate this app. I go to Penn state and for the second year in a row now I have been screwed over for student football tickets sales. I did what everyone else did by joining the waiting room, then getting set back 2,000+ people, was prompted to select a ticket and put in my student ID, then for it to stop loading and my screen went all white. By that point tickets had been sold out. Other people who did the exact same process got their season tickets. Now as a student I have to pay another student an absurd price for their “resale” so they can make a profit. TICKETMASTER IS THE WORST!!!

I can’t understand the high ratings.
It’s easy to buy tickets but in looking to see my transaction history, the best I could do was an image of a concert- no link to the specifics of the event.
Compare that to say Airbnb which has my entire trip history, with specifics, prices paid, etc. That matters, especially when ticket prices seem high compared to past events at the same venue. They really need to fix this.
They make it easy to spend money. That’s it. Big deal.

If I could give Ticketmaster 0 stars I would. I flew all the way to Pittsburg from Charleston to attend a concert in which I had purchased tickets months ago. It’s hours before the concert and my tickets were canceled and refunded to my account. All Ticketmaster said was that they “apologize for the inconvenience.” That’s it… Horrible experience. Will never be using them again.

I bought tickets for a concert 5 months in advance and was so excited about it. As the event got closer and closer, my tickets were still being processed and I had received no update on my order. However, the website and app assured that I would have the tickets by the date of the concert. I tried to use the “contact us” chat box provided on the website but the bot was incredibly unhelpful. The week of the concert I was getting worried and was checking my email and app for status updates daily because I am a frequent concert goer and was not used to not having tickets in my possession this close to the concert. The day before the concert I had to find the customer service phone number (that I could not find on their website) and called for help. The woman on the line looked up my order number and assured that I would have the tickets by tomorrow (the day of the concert) and that this was normal and I should not worry. She even said that people have called with this concern before and she had never had anyone call back that did not receive their tickets. It is now the day of the concert. When it is 12 hours away and I still do not have my tickets I could feel in my gut something was wrong. I tried to call customer service again starting at 9 am when it says their hours open. I called 20 times and never got through to any help. It is 4 hours before the concert and I get an email that my tickets are no longer available and Ticketmaster is sorry for the inconvenience. After seeking help and receiving none it is safe to say I am never trusting Ticketmaster with my purchases ever again. People look forward to and save up for the life experiences they get with these tickets. With such a big name, I expect better customer service and guarantee for tickets.

It’s probably just me but my credit card is working literally anywhere else except Ticketmaster which was pissing me off. It just didn’t take my card. I missed the seats that I wanted because of that, and there was no link to get help whenever it would show me the error messages. Just extremely bummed I didn’t get the tickets I wanted.

We almost lost the concert - 30 minutes late. We had the worst experience for the Santana/Earth Wind & Fire 6/17/2022 in San Diego. I purchase 8 tickets for my group, so the day before the concert I transferred 3 (Section 303, F27-28 and G28) to a friend who was driving separate to the concert. He had his account and got the email message for the transfer. The system on his end errored out and we were not able to complete the transfer. The scanning lady grabbed my cell and scanned it. it turns out that without asking she had scanned other transferred tickets instead of mine. The app allows to use transferred tickets when scanned - we learned the bad way. The Box Office system was down so they could not help us (West Gate)!!!
Another friend who was running late attempted to transfer to me tickets (Section 303, G31-32) so I could help another 2 friends that he had bought and failed as well. It also failed on my trying to accept them - system Error message. So I could not help either and he could not cancel the transfer, so we were stuck. Finally, 30 minutes down the concert, the Box Office lady tried to help and was able to download his tickets to his wallet. We had arrived 30 minutes before the concert started at 7:15pm, and still we lost 30 minutes of concert due to the transfer and system error issue. I document these details for research, audit, debugging and verification purposes.
One piece of advice: Try to transfer days before if possible, and if it fails, have a plan B of meeting at the gate with your friends.
Do not trust TICKETMASTER App, as the app is specific and does not allow to use printed tickets as a backup, it displays a message stating clearly that it will not work.
I took the time to report this inconvenience with the good intention that people who read this review take precautions and do not miss their concert, as the scanning staff at the gate is very strict and close minded, and the box office system being down at this critical time was useless. 🤷🏻♂️

The whole process is clunky, at best. In order to use the app you are forced to identify at least 5 favorites AND enable push notifications. I don’t want to have Ticketmaster constantly sending me notices about shows I have little or no interest in seeing. Also, the program hangs up on setup with an unresponsive screen telling me to enable push notifications but no mechanism for doing so. Too hard to work with. As a result, I have no idea whether I have the tickets sent to me and no way of finding out.
