Saves me 5 minutes when I’m out the door 5/5
Every. Single. Morning.
But the wallet one could be a little louder, I can barely hear it and I can’t imagine hearing it in public or even under a few shirts.
Jumbled options page 1/5
When I select options to do anything like transfer or add new tile the print is all over it charter and the lines are mixed up and it is impossible to decipher what it says details do not last very long
Best thing ever! 5/5
I love it!!!
Big disappointment and waste of money 1/5
It didn’t even work the way it was advertised and that’s very disappointing. And know this, I tried every way possible trying to make it work for me but Tile just didn’t. Whenever I try to find my keys with the app it doesn’t ring. Whenever I try to find my phone with the tile it doesn’t ring. I try every way with the Bluetooth settings and nothing works. It’s a waste of money.
Awesome device 5/5
I love the tile. Best part about it is I can use it to find my phone and my keys.
Life savior 5/5
This app is a must for all moms who have kids playing with their keys or for absent minded people who misplace them regularly. I use it several times a week!
Great... when it works 2/5
Worked great for a year... recently replaced with new Tiles and they are no longer consistently working. I’m not sure if it’s the app or the Tiles.
Tile too busy to find your stuff 1/5
When I try to find something the app wants me to write a reviewer gets bogged down trying to do other things. Almost ready to just get 4 click and dig finders and ditch this whole thing
Nothing happens & battery drain 2/5
I’ve used Tile from the beginning. The original model worked great! The current generation, not so much. As others have experienced, the app will say it’s ringing the Tile, but nothing happens, even when it’s right next to the phone. Now the Tile app seems to be draining my battery too (27% of battery in last 24 hours). I think I’m going to have to look for a different brand. :(
Awesome App! 5/5
I love this app because it saves me about 5 minutes a day looking for stuff I should probably just keep up with. I just got an iWatch and I wish I could use the iWatch app to find my phone and my iPhone app to locate my iWatch. I know there is the Find my phone/Mac feature but since I purchased this app when I need to look for something I open my Tile App first and then Google!
lasts for less than one-year 1/5
By Ricky sticky
..then tell me how you feel about tile!! Tile lasts for one year. after your battery dies - then they make you send in the old in order to “get a new battery”
Tile - it’s basically a yearly battery-upgrade subscription!! do you like to pay $25 for a dead battery inside of a $0.05 piece of plastic??
Tile says it’s only $15 to upgrade and re-tile - then they slap you with shipping and handling charges and make you pay for the return shipping to them - which is another $3.50 for first class mail - and that’s as low as I can get the return price.
I emailed customer support regarding my perspective that I have on how atrocious this process was overall - forgot to mention that they do bot even provide a return address, absolutely crazy that they can’t put a return label for a mail-order trade in program called “re-tile”
this is beyond a joke. wake me up when a decent company comes along and provides a slot for charging the battery. tile already uses an app mandatorily - so, how easy would it be to add a battery level monitor to the tile app, a charging cord, and a waterproof charging slot - just like every other cell phone maker has figured out to do that. I’ve seen other threads where people make excuses for tile saying things like “you cant change the battery because it’s waterproof. that’s utter non-sense. an electronic device being waterproof is not anything new, not is it something that is expensive to include into your design/engineering.
please remember, this is hardly a piece of new technology. a local geo tracker? it’s basically the dumbest piece of tech ever - plastic and a chip that can only locate items up to 150ft. so, also wake me up when a decent company comes along and creates an actual GPS chip inside - that has world wide range.
other than these complaints - still not happy with this company overall.
Love this product 5/5
This tile product has found my keys so many times I would've searched for hours I even taped it to my remote put one in my handbag and in my husbands wallet
Love it 5/5

I use it almost everyday
Make reverse ring optional per Tile? 4/5
This is a super annoying feature because the wallet pocket dials constantly. Why not let user decide which tile can ring the phone?
Totally screwed up 1/5
By Praveen Alam
With the new design you really screwed up this app. It doesn’t work the way it used to work before. 1. My tiles sometimes ring sometimes don’t. Though the tile is next to phone. 2. If I click on ring one time, I need to go back and come again to click on the ring again. Sometimes it can’t even recognize the tile beside.
What ever is that, I don’t find the tile useful anymore.
Not really worth as compare to other products 3/5
The only bad this is that it doesnt ring when you forget your item behind, and by the time you realize that your wallet is missind... Its too late!
I lost my wallet at Buffalo wild wings late at night and when i came home i realized the my wallet is missing. I used the tile app to lacte it but by the time i got to restaurant, someone took all the money and threw wallet in trash!
So basically i wasted my money on a Bluetooth transistor worth 70$.
Dev guys: word of advice - add sw update where there is a "option" to turn on notification when tile is out of range
let see if anyone read this
By JR News
Got my family Tiles for Christmas. 2 for wallet and two for keys. 3 of the 4 have stopped working. Son sent an email requesting help and has not heard back. When they did work, they would have to be out in the open, not in a drawer or in between couch cushions. Sooooo frustrating that i want others to know that. Waste of money and they still cant be found if misplaced.
Figure out notifications! 3/5
I don’t need to be warned that I’ll lose contact with my Tiles every time I turn off Bluetooth. One or twice would be fine! I have to cycle Bluetooth occasionally to get my headphones working. This drove me nuts until I configured the notifications down to almost nothing. Now I’ll hardly notice any I want.
Can’t put tile on another device 3/5
I broke my phone, so when I got my new phone I tried to hook up tile to my new phone and it says it’s already activated... so I’m guessing it’s useless now??? I
One of the worst products I have owned.
I used it for both the wallet and the keys and it didn’t take more than a couple weeks for the wallet tile to stop working. Contacted customer service and they came back to me with the good old reinstall and reset. The keys now are setting right next to me and tile is showing last day seen a few months back.
Point is you own this technology not to use it everyday but to relay own it when you actually need it. This, while a great idea, is not a reliable product at all. I am writing this review after spending 30 minutes to look for my keys. I bought it to not have to do this anymore, this product has failed me yet again.
I am not going to bother reaching to customer service, I don’t want my money back I just need a product that actually works. I am looking somewhere else and so should you.
In love! 5/5
By Me________ love you too!
Such a helpful app!
Not great 2/5
It would be great if you could replace the battery. Having to replace every year makes it not worth buying. I am not replacing.
My tile saves the day 5/5
Every time I lose my keys, I can just click my tile and it rings my keys!! Or if I lose my phone my keys can ring my phone!! Brilliant.
Not what I expected 1/5
By Superbad Dad
I am in Boston lost my wallet.. tried my handy Tile... it had me walking the opposite direction and I walked right over it 4/5 times and it never signaled or beeped... great idea needs alot of work in my opinion for the money spent.
A big help 5/5
I tend to misplace things every now and again these are time savers since when I'm rushing but lost stuff I can find them super easy both ways since u can also find phone when used in reverse
Best product ever! Lost In Ohio! 5/5
A month ago I lost my keys in another town at a store and it was a big town! My boyfriend went out looking for my keys while I was at work with no car no house key mail keys or anything! He eventually found them thank goodness but while I was at work I had a client tell me all about the tile and how amazing it truly is! I was so happy to order it within seconds I got on amazon and bought it! Later that week I got my tile and I’m so thankful I did because just a few days ago I lost my phone in my car and it helped me find my phone! Love this product!
Love the Idea, But.... 2/5
By Senior Cyn
As a senior citizen who’s always losing EVERYTHING; I was excited to receive a Tile in my Christmas stocking this year. However, as great an idea this is; I doubt that much time has been spent on how to best serve those of who are not only losing our memories, we are also losing our hearing (must be all that loud Rock and Roll we were warned about). I hear the tile just fine when it’s out in the open, but if it’s under a couch pillow or muffled in any way - I’m back to where I was before owning a tile. I don’t know if it’s a frequency, tone, or volume issue; but fix that and I’ll be stuffing dozens of them in my friends’ support hose and compression stockings this coming Christmas.
Intermittent - Update 4/5
This is my second tile. Over the last couple months, it has gone from hit or miss to mostly miss. I have tried various “fixes” but it remains the same. With that said when it works, it is great.
UPDATE: I was contacted by Tile customer service to resolve the issue.
Great idea! Tile is wonderful 3/5
Love the tiles.
They work very well.
My only complaint is I tried to find where I could chat with a rep or a phone number I could call. Looked on their website and the tile app for over 2.5 hours.
Got so frustrated I finally gave up!
It shouldn’t be that difficult to talk to someone about an hour that was just placed.
App no longer reliable 2/5
The app was better before the revamp. It used to always show my tiles as connected. Since the app redesign, I can’t reliably tell where my tiles are. It doesn’t always show me the “Find” button even though my tiles are nearby and last seen 1 minute ago, and I apparently don’t know the trick to get the button to appear. If I can’t make my tiles make a sound, the app is useless.
Works well when I've need it. Needs a widget. 4/5
It's helped me find my keys and phone numerous times. The tile is so easy to activate with the double-press of the button, but the app is a pain to find and launch and trigger the alarm on the key fob. You really need to develop a quick activation button for the iPhone Widget page.
Fantastic! Saves my life and time daily! 4/5
By too old to fool
I received Tile as a gift and I love each feature. Especially I call it Hot and Not. Seeing the rings fill in then I know if I left my keys in car or House. I only wish it was louder. I have to look to see if it will tell you if I left them in another city like Find my Phone.
Love having a tile! 5/5
As one who has a tendency to “misplace” my keys, IPad and IPhone I was delighted when about 16 months ago a clerk at BestBuys told me about Tile. She showed me hers and how it operated. I was sold on it! I immediately bought a Tile for my IPhone. Besides my iPhone and iPad, that was the best money that I have spent on electronics. It was definitely the least expensive. I cannot tell you how many times the Tile has kept me sane. I am not sure where I put my phone or if I even have it with me at times and I just press the Tile. Immediately I know if I have the phone with me or can use my iPad to get a general location for it. I gave up my landline four years ago and just have my cellphone, so I am up the creek without my phone. In addition, I no longer remember phone numbers or addresses, so I am lost without the phone.
I have had to deal with Tile customer support electronically and have found them to be very helpful and respond immediately with a satisfactory resolution.
I am one happy customer, wish I could say that about some other companies I have had to deal with!!!
*** BUYER BEWARE *** 1/5
The app and the tiles themselves are seriously flawed.
The App: I have multiple devices and I loaded the app to my phone and my iPad. Don’t ask me why, but I have to use my phone to find the first tile and my iPad to find the second tile. They came together as a pack and I set them both up at the same time to my phone. When I signed into my account on the iPad later, they both worked fine but after an update or two they split. It was unbelievably annoying.
The Tiles: I say *was* annoying because the tiles crapped out. I’ve had them about a year and used them about three times a month. It’s not the Bluetooth locator. That works fine. It’s the sound. You know those cheap birthday cards that play music when you open them but then when you look at them a year later nothing comes out at all? Those are the speakers they use. They’re incredibly cheap and for the amount of money I paid for these things, I expected something of a higher quality. They were great while they lasted but ultimately they’re a waste of time and money.
this app/device makes life way easier, finds my things wherever they are, and the "last time seen" feature really works, at least if nobody steals your things :)
No option to disable calling iPhone 1/5
Please please please add the ability to disable the function that allows tile’s to ping the phone. I can’t count the number of times my keys and wallet have called my phone on accident and I have only been a customer for 2 months.
Now you can be irritated about your lost keys AND your useless Tile! 2/5
I was an ecstatic early Tile user. Having had some brain glitches that lead to memory issues, among other things, my Tiles literally helped me feel more normal when I no longer had to be stuck at home, after being ready to head out the door, because my keys/wallet/med bag were in the pantry/linen closet/back of the van from putting them there when I grabbed groceries to bring in. My Tiles made such a difference that I continued to receive them as loving gifts... without heart to say that Tiles have been useless 60% of the time for at least a year and a half. My 8-pack birthday gift this year was so sweet (as was the 8-pack one year ago)... but this is the fourth time I’ve tried to find my iPad today and the Tile app continues to tell me it’s out of range, until I find it under a pile of laundry/in my file cabinet/or on the seat of a chair we never use, pushed under the table. Yea. Go Tile. So good at letting me know my iPad has been found the second it’s in my hands. I’m in the same boat I was pre-Tile... only irritated by the many other things which would have been far more helpful in our lives. I’m off to resume the Day’s Search #4...
Honest and informative review 4/5
This is an awesome idea. Not only can you find your wallet, keys, etc., but you can also use it to find your phone. You find your tile by activating the sound from your phone, and you find your phone by clicking on your tile. Also, if your phone is too far away from your tile to connect, as soon as you or someone else who uses tile walks in its vicinity, the app automatically alerts you that it has been found and shows you a rough area of where it might be. You then would simply just need to walk in the area until you establish a connection. The idea is amazing. However, I wish more people had the app so that if lost, the process of finding my tile would be a lot faster. So please buy a tile not only for you to find your own belongings, but to help me find my belongings!!
Works 4 out of 5 times, so it gets 4 out of 5 stars. 4/5
By Vanden B
It’s not a perfect system, but it works about 80% of the time. I keep getting this notification that my Bluetooth is turned off, but my bluetooth is on. Kind of annoying.
Not too happy 2/5
I have spent many a time putting keys down, losing my wallet and misplacing my phone, but here comes tile! What a great idea! Spent time going back and forth if I should get any and ultimately decided that I would hold off. But I got one for Christmas and was actually very happy! Set up was quick and easy. The app was user friendly and on my way. Quick to forget they were on my keys, but on a lucky streak I ended up not needing to use it until today. First time using tile and actually needing it. It’s been two months since I’ve set it up and couldn’t find my keys, spent about 10 minutes looking for them before I even remembered I had my tile. I was so happy that since I was running late for work I’d be able to use it and head out the door. I flick my Bluetooth on and it says they were just seen. Buttttt. They weren’t in range. I tried to navigate the app and I couldn’t seem to figure out why it wouldn’t just let me “find keys” like it had in the past. It kept telling me to walk until it was within the 100ft range. I walked all over the house. Upstairs and down. In the garage and in my car. After spending another 10 minutes trying to figure out where my keys must have gone since they weren’t in the house, calling my wife to see if she took them to work. And then spending another 15 minutes searching the house “good old fashioned way” I found them. Tile sitting there mocking me. Upon further research I have found out that “it just didn’t connect to my Bluetooth” are you kidding? What a waste. I even turned my Bluetooth off and on while searching trying to see if that was the case. It took me manually pressing the tile for it to finally connect. What a waste. Not there when needed which is the whole purpose of this product. Highly disappointed, and definitely a bad look for the first time I needed to use this product. My trust for it is gone and therefore I might as well just look for my keys normally instead of wasting time with the tile. Oh well.
Horrible interface and experience. 1/5
By Vulgar demos
Cluttered interface. Tips that cover the maps that are impossible to dismiss. Bewildering attempts to force users to turn on lost mode and other stuff. Worst, requires you to open it up at least once a week because otherwise phone no longer keeps connection. Moved to a competitor even though hardware is fine, purely because the app is terrible.
Great for dogs 5/5
I used the tile on my dog’s collar when we moved then decided to keep it on forever. We live on acreage without fences and my dog won’t come so she gets lost in the trees. I ping the tile and it freaks her out and she runs home. Best invention ever!!
Super convenient 5/5
If you're like me and can't remember where you put your purse/wallet/keys/phone, this is a sanity saver!
Could be louder. 4/5
By Salmon swag
Works great just wish the volume from the tile was louder. Overall these have saved me so much time when I lose various items. Keep up the good work. 🙌
Works great 5/5
Haven't really put it to the real test yet but it works as it says it should
Best money I’ve ever spent! 5/5
By Cajun Insanity
My hubby loses his keys so much that I’ve considered surgically implanting them to his hand. But then I discovered these little life savers! Last night he came home complaining of a lost wallet - which conveniently contained one of the “credit card” tiles. The app pinged on it as soon as we pulled up to the convenience store where he’d left it. Hallelujah! Never lose your keys, wallet, (or your mind) again!!!
I lose my keys and my phone all the time and this app and device literally save my life!!!
Used to be great / now abysmal 1/5
By Jason Pruitt
So frustrating. Used to work, now the Tiles refuse to make noise when I have my keys and my wallet right next to me. No amount of restarting my phone or re-launching and/or reinstalling the app fixes .
To add insult to injury, the links to “technical support” and “contact customer care” on the app now go to a 404 page not found.
Is this company about to go bankrupt or something?
I used to recommend Tile, now I really, really hate it.
Like your AirPods? Don’t get a Tile 1/5
By Jeff Sixty Six
I have had a Tile for a few years and recently got a family pack and am using 3 of them. As soon as they were enabled, my AirPods started working sporadic and could not be used as a Bluetooth headset. As soon as I disabled Bluetooth in the tile app - Boom! My AirPods worked again
Until Tile can find a way to make their product work with others, it’s a waste. Now I’ve spent $50+ on something I can’t even have enabled when I want to use my headphones - Thanks Tile!
iPad App needs Landscape mode 3/5
This is a per peeve of mine... With an iPad Pro and a Smart Keyboard, I end up using my device in landscape mode primarily. Imagine how annoying it is when I open an app and discover I have to fold away the keyboard and rotate the device just to use the app.
