Fun but too expensive 2/5
Great concept but highly overpriced. We did the trial and the games were fun but having such a high monthly price isn’t worth it. It would be worth paying a small start up price up to $10.
How to cancel 3/5
Can someone please explain to me how can I cancel my subscription. I tried to get my daughter to use the app however it wasn’t very successful. Now I’m not understanding how I can cancel
Monthly fee 1/5
It would have been helpful to know before downloading there would be a monthly fee to use the app.
Free only to buy subscription 1/5
The app is declared free but only to be able to buy subscription. Literally when started app will show you subscription plan and that’s it.
I love this app 5/5
I like being able to use Tiny Tap as a way of introducing material to my students.
As a Speech Therapist my students have assorted goals. Tiny Tap is a great resource , not only am I able to create activities to use with my students but find activities created by others
Data Privacy: ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? 1/5
I received this email first: “when I saw your feedback, I decided to write you a personal email, hoping to talk and learn from your experience for us to improve. Do you mind sharing more with me?”
I responded questioning this “feedback” as I had provided none. I didn’t get a specific answer. Instead, this:
“How are you?
I would love to see your little one in action! Some parents send me videos of their kid playing, so I can see what they’re experiencing. Others I Skype-call them and play live together. Even though I think it goes without saying, everything is confidential and will not be shared or published with anyone outside of my team.
As a token of my appreciation for the feedback, I will gift a FREE annual subscription to TinyTap ($66 value) to your account. I am attaching my parent manual for more details about the videos.”
App shuts down on IPad 1/5
App works fine on my iPhone but I would prefer to use it on the bigger screen in the iPad for my toddler. App has continuously shut down after 10-30 second every time I try to open it. I will be canceling my subscription when the free trial is over.
By the fool who got the app
Claims to be free when it’s not. I thought there are only in-app purchases that you can CHOOSE not to use. But...
Good but can be better 3/5
For 10.99 a month I’d expect a cleaner app with less lag. I found a lot of glitches while navigating with my 4 year old. The games are cute but get repetitive and are basically the same thing over and over but with a different voice and background. The app also has SO much (too much, if you ask me) content and it gets overwhelming for a child. Will not be purchasing after free trial but I’m sure with some tweaking the app could be great.
The app isn’t free. You can’t even test it out without a paying subscription. Uninstalled.
AMAZING LEARNING APP! 5/5
By ❤️ Tapping
I am a retired teacher who has a grandchild with a learning disability. This amazing app not only allows me to create fun activities to reinforce concepts he is learning in school, but it opens a door to thousands of educational games made by teachers, speech therapists, and educators from all over the world. I am “hooked” on TinyTap!
Forced to pay $65 for TRASH 1/5
This app is TRASH!!! Worst app I’ve ever downloaded. It crashes after 1 minute of use, causes children emotional distress, and they refuse to refund if you are unhappy with the purchase. This app is a scam. Stay away!!!!
Be very careful if you decide to give this a try. At the end of my 7 day trial I was charged for a years subscription even though I didn’t want that. I might have done another month while I decided if the expense was worth it but sure didn’t want a $70 charge. You really only get 6 days to decide on your trial because you have to cancel 24 hours before trial ends. And now I cant get a refund. Apple says contact the app developers and Tiny Tap says contact Apple. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
I downloaded this app after seeing an ad for it. I figured I’d give the free trial a try. I really tried to get my 2 year old to use it but it frustrated him more than anything. I forgot to cancel before it renewed for a year long. I tried to get a refund and to cancel the subscription but they refused it. Needless to say I’m stuck with this app for a year. Such a waste of money.
Creator's point of view 5/5
As a teacher/TinyTap creator, I love the endless possibilities TinyTap offers for creating interactive lessons. It is easy to use for creating without having to know how to code, which is genius in my book! The ability to adapt lessons for children's specific learning needs is priceless. I agree with some of the comments about age levels being a little off, but feel this is a function of our educational system at large, and not something TinyTap can "fix". Every district follows its own curriculum standards, so different skills are taught at different age levels. What one teacher would share as an activity for a kdg student might be considered a first grade skill by a different teacher in a different district. I have 3 suggestions to parents to get around this problem. 1) Become familiar with the curriculum standards/skills being taught in your child's school (they should all be easy to find online), and search for those topics, rather than by age level. 2) Search in a wider range of age levels. Instead of searching for 4-5 years, search also the levels before and after. 3) Find out what your child is working on in school this week/month, and search for those topics to supplement the classroom instruction.
Like others say, hard to navigate 3/5
I’ve only had this loaded for a day and my 3yo seems to like some of games and puzzles. My only complaints are that the home screen is disorienting and some of the drag and drop items are too close to the top of the screen. This activates the control center on my iphone even though I’ve de-activated control center within apps. Anyway, the frustrations caused by this are not worth it. I felt like I always needed to be next to her to help.
I love this app, just wish their was Mexican Spanish as an option since that is what we are teaching my son first
Very hard to navigate.. 2/5
I had my son who recently turned two playing this, he liked it a lot. Some of the games were great, and perfect for his skill level, others were way to difficult for him or didn’t want to load or would freeze my phone all together. My opinion but when selecting to age range they really should have different games for 2 to 2 1/2 and then the older twos.
Even if it was free, not worth it. Not kid friendly. 1/5
The app is so slow that my toddler quickly loses interest. The games are way below my expectations especially for a paid app. Additionally I feel like the subscription used shady practice by charging for a year 24 hours before I thought I needed to cancel the trial. I decided to try to make the best of it and instead received an app that isn't user friendly and low quality.
On a side note, no kids app should transfer the child over to regular YouTube ever. It seems this app was not made with children in mind.
My 4 year old is addicted to this game!! Usually she just watches a video on Netflix on our iPad, now she couldn't care less about a movie and I don't mind her playing this educational game.
Not any better than the many free learning apps 1/5
My son wasn’t interested in playing any of the games. I also noticed that they weren’t any different than the many other apps I’ve downloaded in the past for my children, that they also were never very interested in playing. Maybe the games in other age ranges are better, but the ones for 4-5 year olds is definitely not worth the money.
Good Stuff 4/5
My kid loves playing with the games available, especially those that are made by TinyTap. I just wish that it is cheaper, say $50 a year?
Great app, wayyy too pricey! 3/5
My daughter absolutely loves this app. There are so many games/stories for her to choose from and so many skills to work on. She is going to be so upset once the free trial is over. I cannot fathom spending $11 a month on a kids app! :(
Nice App 5/5
My kids love it!
BEST APP FOR TODDLERS!!! 5/5
I’m a parent of 4 daughters, their ages range from 2-18. When I ran across this app for my 2 year old, I figured I’ll take advantage of the free trial and cancel when the trials over. I handed her the phone and let her play while I cooked, 5 min went by and she hadn’t called me to switch her game, after 15 min she was still interested in what she was playing and was having no problems maneuvering around on the app. So I had to sit down and watch her, I’m very impressed with the simplicity of the games but the endless amount of information being taught with each mini game. After watching my daughter play the 7.99 is definitely worth paying each month considering the lessons she’s learning from this App. My 6 & 7 year olds have yet to play since my 2 year old loves it!
Tiny tap review 5/5
By jace n
I purchased this for my two year old grandson.i love that you can choose an age range and was very pleasantly surprised that it was very relevant. He loves “playing the game” Well worth the money.
A great program for speech/language therapy. 5/5
By satified s
This program is a great companion for all speech/ language pathologists.Programs aid teaching and practice for many core goal areas. My special education teachers love it too!
Cancel now 1/5
I want to cancel now! But there’s no option
Good but🙄 5/5
By porter meme
The game is good and educational but some times I think that some of the games when I play it kind of easy. I like the game though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌟
How do I end my free trial? 2/5
How do I end my free trial?! My son hasn’t played with it much and today is my last day for the free trial and I can find how to cancel it?
Hard to use fora5 year old 1/5
By Frustrated with new app
Not user friendly and confusing to use. Seems to complicated. Needs to be streamlined better and guided learning paths.
My 5 year old is un interested already after less than a few weeks. Somehow I paid for a full year so we are stuck with this. Hopefully some updates will come to make this better. Not there yet .
Breech if privacy 1/5
I downloaded this game and was very excited until I began to set it up and it is basically forcing you to register your google information. The bad part was that it wants to share your information. I would not recommend this app.
Subscription is a scam 1/5
This app gives you a free trial and then it auto renews to the one year subscription which steals 60 bucks from you without giving you the option to choose one month at a time and oh look no refunds.
Very hard to use with pop up ad 2/5
My children love the app but I notice when we play games it’s always interrupted with an ad asking if we want to pay for the annual subscription or monthly. I’ve already subscribed to the annual and now trying to figure out how we can get this pop up to stop coming up while playing games. It’s extremely annoying and makes me feel like subscribing was a total waste. Also makes me think that you guys are trying to have me pay again when I’ve already paid for the annual subscription. And note I make sure I am logged in with my username and password each time. Also I click on the x to click out but it pops up again!!!! Can you guys please some how fix this so my kids can play without interruptions or having to click out and come back every minute????? It makes it really hard to play the games. Thanks.
So Engaging! 5/5
By Molecular Chef
Love how interested our son is in this! Lots of garbage games out there that are infuriatingly 90% in app purchase. This one is educational, engaging and doesn’t ever ask you to buy anything after the initial purchase.
what they don’t say.. 3/5
7 day free trial and then $10/month OR $60/year. not worth it IMO.
Redoing 1st review 5/5
I wanted to try the free trial, but got charged for a full year. It claims there is a 14 day free trial, but customer support Brooke tells me it’s only 7 days.
We tried it for a granddaughter who has Down’s Syndrome and it was too frustrating for her. So $60 and it was a bust. It makes me angry!
The team at Tiny Tap have been most thoughtful in helping me find an appropriate app for our disabled grandchild. And they refunding the annual fee, but our letting us use it for the year. Hopefully our little sweet pea will grow into it.
Access app sharing 5/5
You should access slides in other apps
That means you can create in apps like
It’s an overall good app, but stop trying to force the premium on people. I have to stop every 5 minutes to make sure my son isn’t pressing the purchase button. Learning wise it’s a 5 star.
They charge me for a year NEVER REFUND!!! 1/5
I bough 1 month to see if I like the app and they ended charging me for the whole year. I tried contacting someone to get my money back and nobody contacted me or fix the problem.
The app is not user Friendly for kids at all.
I can tell you I tried many times to use it to see if I can give a used to the money the charge me but NEVER WORKED!!!!
Bad service useless app 1/5
This app I downloaded it to check what was it about and decided not to get it because it wasn’t what I was looking for and they decided to charge me $60.00 for not getting it. Cheaters and fakes
Erroneous charges 1/5
By Moore in
This app has charged me twice for a yearly subscription I did not authorize. The first time they contacted me to let me know about their error, which was nice of them. However, they said they were offering a free trial subscription to reconcile, but it hasn’t been available on my account so...thanks for nothing Tiny Tap! The second charge came out of nowhere and was also unauthorized. The app is also pretty mediocre as far as educational apps go, not worth a $60 annual subscription in any case.
Update stinks?? 1/5
You now have to pay for a subscription?? That’s so annoying!! This was definitely one of my favorite apps I felt it was educational for my 2 yr old. It’s such a shame you now have to pay for a subscription to use this app smh...
Free trial 2/5
I kinda like the little games but you can only play so much until the sign up screen pops up. It doesn’t even have an exit button to push to return to play some more games. I have to close the app and then get lucky that the sign up screen doesn’t auto pop. My kids love playing these games, but now they are unable to. So why can we play just the few free games anymore?
Also it is hard to navigate. Not really user friendly. I get confused as to why 5-6yr old stuff pops up for my selected 2-3 yr old. I seem to have to navigate in the separated subjects to get the right age group; but then the whole sign up for free trial pops up again and the screen is stuck. You can’t exit that screen. So repeat process. Close app and get lucky to play more before free trial, sign up page appears.
just can’t cancel the ad page 1/5
Ever since my upgrading the app, I’ve been unable to cancel the premium membership ad page. I don’t know why and this has been a problem for a while, so I just stuck in that page and can do nothing.
Automatically charged the year subscription when I didn’t even know that my 2 year old downloaded this. Cannot figure out how to cancel or get refunded.
Don’t offer a 14 day trial and when you confirm the trial switch it to the year subscription. I wanted to see how the app worked before purchasing. The 20 minutes that my 2 year old played with it weren’t impressive. The sounds take to long to load, she figured out how to “beat” the game without playing because it took to long to load the sounds for the what do you hear game. Showing the same 2 things during the 2nd round she knew that it was the other picture of the bat. So I’m not happy that I was charged $60 for an app that my child won’t have the patience to sit and play because it’s too slow.
Poor quality 1/5
Free Content 1/5
There was free content available then with the last update all the games are only available via subscription.
